I think you and @Panjul are the ones who can reach at least more than 5000 since I know you are high roller & @Panjul are good player who can collect wagering with a small money.

As I said previously, I wagered less after the 1st monthly bonus on August because I lost both my VIP top monthly bonus as well as the monthly bonus quickly.
3 hours left for the 10m race and my position is now at 8400+  Grin with around 100k wager.
I wagered more than 50k in the first week of the race (exactly after the 1st monthly bonus) but I wagered less after I lost the bonus, proven by my currect total wager which is only 100k
It means that I wagered the other 50k in the last 3 weeks  Cheesy, It is simply because I dont want to force myself to wager just for the race.

Let's assume that you wagered $150 000 during this promotion and you got the last place. It should cost you a minimum of $1500+ to wager that amount, based on a conservative $100 for every $10 000 wagered.... (Do you think the prize will really be worth the money that you spend.. chasing that challenge?)

On the topic of the $40 000 000 that were hacked from Stake.... guess who is going to pay for those losses. (Expect a crazy RTP for a while folks)  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

" Burning natural gas for energy results in fewer emissions of nearly all types of air pollutants and carbon dioxide (CO2) than burning coal or petroleum products to produce an equal amount of energy. "

" The clean burning properties of natural gas have contributed to increased natural gas use for electricity generation and as a transportation fuel for fleet vehicles in the United States. "

So, it is better to use it... and not to waste it... right?
903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share Your Bitcoin Hack Stories: Help Us Educate and Protect! on: September 05, 2023, 05:34:02 AM
I think the most common hack was the "browser hijacking" ...where the hacker downloaded some software that detected when I copy/pasted Bitcoin addresses and then hijacked the clipboard content, by replacing it with his/her Bitcoin address.

The lesson that I learned from that was to double check the address that I paste in a sender wallet field to see if it is the actual address that I copied as the destination.  Wink

It is something simple.... but it can happen to anyone, if you are in a hurry and you do not double check your destination address.   Angry
904  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: September 04, 2023, 07:11:23 AM
I said the fact that now there is not 1 amount for everybody, if you are inactive you get amount x, if you are active you get amount xx.
Before the change, EVERYBODY on the same level got the same amount, active or not.
How they are judging the activity and inactivity of an account? I have received $10 only from the last two post-monthly bonus despite making deposits. I have lost most of my deposits there in the last few months. But I wasn't able to wager anything significant as I lost the deposits quickly always.

I want to confirm that I was getting the same amount like other platinum III rank user before the changes were made. Although, there used to be little difference ($2 to $3) occasionally, but now the difference is quite big.

Well there is still no formula for that.
My guess is when you wager around 3k in 1 month you are eligible for a full monthly bonus and at least for 1 week a full weekly (if those 3k were made in 1 week.

That's only by my observation using my inactive account.

But with stake you never know since for unknown reasons they make such a big secret out of it. I guess it's because so they can shrink the bonuses from time to time without players knwoing whats going on.  Roll Eyes

@AHOYBRAUSE it’s clear by now that Stake doesn’t wishes to reveal this formula maybe for the fear that player’s will try and abuse it for more bonus hence it’s pointless to even calculate it. Lastly even if if by some luck someone discovers it Stake will never agree or even deny that’s the formula thus it’s making no sense to invest time in cracking this formula at-least that’s what I personally feel.

I think Eddie gave a short explanation a while ago... where he said that a base amount are paid per VIP rank and then also based on what you played and how much you played. The Stake original games count the least towards the bonus and then the 3rd party slots and then the Sports betting counting the most.

They are not giving the exact formula, because they do not want players only to play the games that count the most towards wagering. (It is structured in a way that if you lose more, you get a bigger bonus.... but just slightly)  Roll Eyes
905  Economy / Economics / Re: What did elon do wrong in Twitter on: September 04, 2023, 06:30:11 AM
I think one of the major mistakes that Elon Musk made with Twitter, was to try and monetize it too quickly. (Subscription option) .... because most people see Twitter as a "free" service.  Roll Eyes

He also fired too many experienced people too quickly to make a statement.  Roll Eyes  His motivation for this seemed to be to "clean" out the people that apposed his vision.... or those that supported the "old" Twitter.

The re-branding was also not necessary, because Twitter is a well-known global brand and it is a waste of money to market the new name.  Roll Eyes
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using Statistical Data to Win Sports Betting Picks on: September 04, 2023, 06:17:38 AM
There are simply too many human elements that might influence the outcome of every Sport event. You are focused on the historical statistics, but the "human" element can drastically influence that.

A lot of pitchers and players hide the fact that they have "hidden" injuries that influence their game or they might not be in a good head space (something happening in their personal life) and even if they are professionals, this still influence their performance.

Yes, the historical data can give you a trend to work with, but any player can have a off day.  Roll Eyes
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we support Bitcoin if Satoshi demands life sentencing for non-violence on: September 04, 2023, 06:02:05 AM
Well, one thing is certain..... Satoshi Nakamoto never chased fame and fortune like CW is doing with a passion.  Roll Eyes  That in it self should be enough proof for anyone that has read any of Satoshi Nakamoto's emails and correspondence that still exist.

The mere fact that CW are constantly trying to be relevant and fighting over patents in court, shows that he is a snake oil salesman. He even conned a seasoned Bitcoiner and developer like Gavin, so it is understandable that he confused you too.

Just use your energy to focus on a future where CW will finally be out of the picture, because the truth will expose him. Satoshi can settle this issue with one signed message to say that CW is a scammer.... so let's hope this happens soon.  Wink
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Analytics is More of an Art Than Science on: September 04, 2023, 05:44:22 AM
It would be interesting to know how Chainalysis acquire accurate data that has gone through Mixer services? I can understand that data mining can be very accurate, if they were only dealing with unscrambled inputs and outputs from the Blockchain, but what happens after those tokens go through a Mixer service?

Yes, it is possible to mine through data that were recovered after a Mixer service were shutdown... and if they kept logs, but what happens if you push it through active Mixer services that does not keep any logs?
909  Economy / Economics / Re: Blackrock invest in ukraine on: September 03, 2023, 11:03:51 AM
That's what US always wanted! If you think the Russia - Ukraine war is happening because of Putin, you are living in fool's paradise. It's a tactical war initiated by US by inviting Ukraine to join NATO. The sole intention of US was to gain uninterrupted access to Russian border. Ukraine is just a scapegoat.

So when BlackRock is planning their investment in Ukraine, the intention is now very clear. If the access cannot be received by war tactics, the next step is to gain access of the financial markets and gain so much dominance where US government can put pressure to have a military base in Ukraine. Well thought out plan by the only warmongers of this century.

You should also not forget that the Ukraine also have the only harbor that are not frozen over in the winter, which is a huge strategical advantage for the Russian fleet, if a bigger war break out in the winter. (Some people think that was the real reason why Russia initiated this war from the start)

BlackRock are like any other predator corporation out there, they see a potential to make a profit and they pounce on it. Someone needs to help the Ukrainians build up their country... and I doubt if the Russians are going to do that.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rant: Casinos should hire people who knows about what they do on: September 03, 2023, 10:24:05 AM
You can actually see how some of these customers support personal are working from cue cards with their responses. They are trained to answer questions in a prepared format and the moment when you ask something that are not trained to them, then the wheels come off.

The other problem are related to "language" ....because a lot of these employees are hired from other countries, where English are not their first language. The gap in communication and the way it is interpreted, create a lot of conflict and miscommunication.  Tongue
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is horse racing so unpopular here and a bit of extra feedback on: September 03, 2023, 10:12:26 AM
In my country horse racing is a big thing, but more and more of these race tracks are coming under fire for animal abuse. The main concern with horse racing are the way owners discard horses, after they get to the stage where they cannot compete anymore.

I think all sports where animals are involved are coming into more scrutiny these days, because the "new" generation are not seeing the old ways, the same way we.... old timers are seeing it.

It is a pity, because it is such a wonderful Sport and the treatment that these horses are getting are exceptional... compared to the treatment that horses are getting on farms.  Tongue

Ps.... I bet on some mudlarks last weekend and it boosted my pocket.  Wink
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, Bitcoin fits in this gap more than others. on: September 03, 2023, 09:57:30 AM
Governments and Banks will never use Bitcoin, because they need to manipulate and control it.. for them to support it. Take a moment and think about the control they have over your wealth....

1. They can block your account anytime they want.
2. They can see your balance and all the transactions you made.
3. They can block transactions to certain organizations. (Wikileaks... BackPage)
4. They can report all this information to the government, in turn for unlimited bailouts when they fail.
5. They can help governments to implement economic sanctions against whole countries. (SWIFT payments)

Why would they sacrifice all of that control to support something like Bitcoin, where they have none of that?
913  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you risking investment in other things? on: September 02, 2023, 10:40:28 AM
Every "good" financial portfolio should have a balanced investment strategy, where you include several investment options, based on your age and you income.

Example : Younger people can still take higher risk, because they have the luxury of time on their side. A typical investment strategy for them would be say : 20% in low risk investments and 40% in medium risk investments and 40% in high risk investments.

The older investors should be a lot more conservative, with a typical investment portfolio looking like this => 50% low risk / 30% medium risk and only 20% in high risk investments. (Bitcoin and Crypto currency investments fall into the high risk investment section)  Wink
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: History of Gambling From Ancient Times to the Digital Age on: September 02, 2023, 10:31:53 AM
Well, the first money were used from about 1000 BC in China ...were small tokens were created in bronze. The Mesopotamian shekel were seen as the first currency, where they stamped Gold coins to pay their soldiers.  Tongue

The first record of playing cards were made in China, where they used wooden tiles as part of some kind of Lottery game that later evolved into card games like Poker. I think people might have gambled earlier than that in some kind of form, but evidence of that might have been destroyed over time.
915  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake phishing on: September 02, 2023, 10:16:50 AM
Damn, this is really bad.... and it can happen with anybody, because this month Stake gave 3 x Monthly bonuses, so you would have thought that it was one of them.

You should think that a hacker would realize that the 2FA stopped them from withdrawing the money, so they would leave the money ...but it is as if the anger let them deliberately sabotage your account, by betting all of it.

Stake even blocked the tipping of the money without the 2FA ...so they cannot even tip an Alt account to withdraw it from another account.   Tongue
916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prime Trust's bankruptcy due to forgotten seed/private key on: September 02, 2023, 10:03:44 AM
I do not buy the "lost the Private keys" angle to this story, because a professional company will never be that negligent. Imagine someone losing the keys to a Bank vault....  Roll Eyes  I bet you, someone are going to "find" those Private keys when the bankruptcy are done and they are going to live in the lap of luxury on some island where they cannot be touched.  Roll Eyes

You will be amazed by the so-called "team" that are behind some of these custodial services... most of them are from the corrupt Banking services, where they were taught how to steal from people.  Angry
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of Bitcoin over fiat and local banks on: September 02, 2023, 09:41:54 AM
Yes, my bitcoins are accessible 24/7 for 365 days in a year.... other than centralized services that cannot help you outside of office hours, when you run into problems with your Banking Apps or your ATM cards.  Roll Eyes

I can also have my bitcoins in Paper wallets, where I am not paying "fees" for someone else "securing" my money.  Roll Eyes Also, something that very little people know, is the fact that there are not enough money in the Banks for everyone to withdraw their money, if there are some crisis. (In Greece... Banks closed their doors and put limits on people's withdrawals during a Bank run .... so people could not withdraw their own money)  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 01, 2023, 06:38:12 AM
You did not say if you wanted information on online or brick n mortar casinos.... so I am going to give you a few on gamblers in brick n mortar casinos.

1. Gamblers that are loud
2. Gamblers leaving their casino card in the slot to "reserve" it for them ...until they get back from wherever they were.
3. Gamblers that are rubbing the slot screen. (hygiene and they are making it dirty for other people)
4. Gamblers standing behind you and watching you play
5. Gamblers sitting next to you and just talking nonsense and not playing.

These are just some of the things that irritate me, when I play at a physical casino.... so I prefer to gamble online in the privacy of my own house, where I am not bothered.  Tongue
919  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: September 01, 2023, 06:29:35 AM
What I received today is the same as what I used to get for my current level.
And I do not see complaints in the stake forum about this latest monthly bonus, does it mean that all users get the usual amount?
Generally, the pre/post monthly bonuses are adjusted based on the VIP level meaning wager has no impact on the bonus amount,

Wager does give an impact on the post/pre monthly bonus amount, if you do not wager for too long time, the amount might be lower.
I've experienced myself when I received less in pre/post monthly bonus due to my inactivity.
Wager does not increase the amount indeed but the amount might be reduced if we do not wager, maybe there is specific wager requirement to be meet to get the normal base reward for the pre./post monthly bonus but we do not know how much is it.

Exactly. Normally the wager had no impact on pre and post monthly amount, bis this changed about 1 month ago.
Before I got for example 25 or 27$ for my platinum 2 account and 33 for my platinum 4. Now, because it's inactive my platinung 2 got 7$, my platinum 4 which is semi inactive got 15$.

They keep the normal base amount for years but after changing or got rid of base amounts for weekly and monthly they now changed this for the pre/post as well unfortunately.

I don't think that they changed the base amount, you said that those accounts were inactive... so it is normal for them to just pay the base amount. Just to make sure.... did you get 25$ to $27 on Plat II and $33 for your Plat 4 account with inactivity too?

There were a few instances where Steve and Eddie got it wrong and they forgot to add the base amount to the Weekly.... but they rectified that with a boost on the second week.. or so they say.  Roll Eyes
920  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2023-08-26] Forbes: Leak Reveals Elon Musk, X And Wall Street Could Be About... on: September 01, 2023, 06:17:04 AM
Well, it might be a good move for Elon Musk, because he was the father of PayPal back in the day. (They bought his software and then expanded it into the empire it is today)

So Elon Musk are very familiar with the inner workings of centralized payment systems and we hope he can take that next step to go into decentralized Blockchain technology like Bitcoin.

Knowing him, he will take some small shitcoin like Shiba again and turn it into something huge, right after he bought a shitload of those tokens.  Grin
