901  Economy / Reputation / Re: Are "we" decide who's gonna be on DT list? on: July 10, 2023, 06:49:58 PM
For example: If I trust member A & B and they already are on the DT list their feedback will be shown to me, so then its no reason for me to add them to my specific trust list. Right?

This is correct if you didn't remove DefaultTrust on your trustlist since you automatically trust all DT by default on your trustlist unless you distrust someone on DT then their feedback will not be visible to you by default as trusted feedback.

..OR should I add them to my trust list anyway because two people that I think have good judgment will get more likely to be in the DT list? (Since I seen you can get removed or added on the DT list all the time)

Adding them is more approriate if you really trust someone judgement. If you only trust that two people alone then you should just only list them on your trustlist and remove the defaultTrust.

Answering the title, Yes we are the one who's gonna decide to become a DT since it's decentralized. Theymos can't moderate DT system.
902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost bitcoins on: July 10, 2023, 06:15:53 PM
I read some old threads about lost Bitcoins ND this question has been on my mind ever since
If the lost Bitcoins were for instance recovered will the price of Bitcoin drop  because in theory it would affect the amount of Bitcoin in circulation which will lower it's price . I saw in those threads that lost Bitcoins are considered a donation to the Bitcoin network. so if my theory is correct then we should be happy those Bitcoins were lost.

Recovering it will not affect the price of Bitcoin but selling it will. But ofcourse it depends on the amount of Bitcoin recovered that will be dump in the market to determine if this will gonna impact the price since Bitcoin liquidity is already huge compared before when exchaneg doesn’t have enough liquidity to absorb sell pressure on Bitcoin. There’s already company invested billion dollar on Bitcoin. Recovered Bitcoin is not a problem at all unless it’s the Bitcoin of Satoshi since it’s a huge chunk and it will make Bitcoin holders doubt Bitcoin since the founder already sold his holdings like what happened to LTC when Charlie Lee sold all of his asset.
903  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: July 10, 2023, 06:10:41 PM
We cant really be able to point out if there are some changes or not with those TOS and this is why we do end up on accepting our fate and move on.
Did we know about any issues from gamblers who were victims of changes to the Terms of Service? Personally, I believe that a fair gambling site would inform its gamblers if there are significant changes to the TOS that would affect their gambling experience. So, I suppose it wouldn't happen unless there is evidence stating otherwise.
Personally, I've never heard anyone stating that they've been a victim of this, but I do know that a lot of gambling platforms don't inform their customers when they make changes in their terms and conditions, and I've read this myself in a lot of terms and conditions that the platform has the right to modify, add, or remove anything into the terms and conditions page without the consent of the users, and users have already agreed with that when they signed up.

So the point is that if a casino doesn't inform their customers about the changes, they simply don't want them to know about the changes and if they get in trouble, they wouldn't be able to say anything since it's written in their terms and conditions. Most gamblers don't read the terms and conditions, so they think that maybe it has always been there.

It’s rare since reputable casino typically don’t care much on a win of a player since they are getting profit on other losing players to recover lose from winners. There are instances like this in the past but from a not established casino. I think the most popular case like this from a popular casino is the issue Betfury retroactive changing of commision percentage on the referral. Betfury change the percentage on their ToS without informing the user that already earned the commission for the changes happened.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is more important for crypto users? on: July 10, 2023, 04:26:12 PM

Simply put, here only millions of money are managed by asset owners, so where i have no money. In fact, i have ideas about gambling, but I don't have the ability to spend money there.

No matter what idea you have in your mind, don’t do it if you have no money to spend. Gambling is designed to be on the house advantage so It will be useless no matter what your idea because gambling result is random or by chance. It’s very hard to do a consistent profit unless you have a way to crack the game code to determine the result in advance.

Gambling is not that kidn of important for crypto user because it’s just a game and not an investment.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: July 09, 2023, 05:10:58 PM
Successful gamblers are different from most gamblers because successful gamblers have advantages over other gamblers so they can balance gambling and their lives and enjoy their wins. Successful gamblers have more advantages so they can be wise in playing gambling and will not experience problems. Even though they may encounter problems in gambling, they will calm down while looking for a way out. So I guess successful gamblers are not gambling addicts because they can control themselves well.

The only difference of successful gambler to the normal gambler is that they have a decent gambling skills to get a consistent win result but I think this is only applicable on skill based games like sportsbetting and poker. Luck based games usually very hard to become successful because there’s no fixed strategy or formula in able to get a consistent profit. I doubt a balance life is the key to become successful since most successful poker player usually play a lot of time poker to hone their skills. They only have a balance life once they already become successful and not during their active career.
906  Economy / Gambling / Re: Challenge One Million Dice Bets with Profit every week. on: July 09, 2023, 04:14:23 PM
     -   I don't know what OP is saying, I'm just not sure if others have noticed it. It's just simple to me, if you don't want to gamble and you want to stop it, you can do it if you really want to. Now, if you really don't want to, but you can't see what's going on in your work, you're just fooling yourself.

It only becomes difficult to stop gambling from addiction if we ourselves don't really help it, if we really don't want to we will find a way to do it. We will not only ask for advice from other people.

This topic is dedicated for is challenge about playing Dice game using 100$ bankroll per day while streaming. He probably want to experiment on having a consistent profit result through Dice game. He just make a brief summary of past 2 threads which probably the one that you read and confused you to the real purposed of this thread.

Anyway, The OP promised to be 24/7 online his streaming account is always offline everytime I check when I see this thread. One thin is for sure that OP is just pure talk.  Cheesy
907  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: July 09, 2023, 02:07:35 PM

Nice win on this side bet. I rarely place a side bet because it continuosly burning my bankroll without any return. The highest bonus I hit on my side bet is just a pair with different color and a flush which is not enough to cover all my previous bet on sides. How many bets do you spend on that side bet before you hit that stright flush? That card is very hard to get on a blackjack because the deck is composed of multiple decks that is placed randomly.

Congratulations. I will not bet on side bet even with this win. I’m happy enough to get a long win streak than chase the huge profit on side bet.  Tongue

Actually, Side bet is were I get most of my huge profit on Blackjack instead of the regular bet. You can win huge by just placing small bet while direct huge bet will give you a 50/50 chance of winning with just one trial compared to side bet that you can try multiple times since you are only betting small amount. Just place a side bet amount in good proportion to your main bet so that you can recover your lose sidebet when you win your hand while still have some profit.

On thi game, I hit that huge sidebet win after 8 rounds of 2 seat game with 2$ bet on each side. I keep hitting pair and flush that time pror to this straight flush.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What term to use? Halving or Halvening? Term history on: July 09, 2023, 01:40:11 PM
Actually, there's another one that I've read that describes what shall happen next year and that's, "halfing".
Honestly, all of them works and have the same meaning so whatever you prefer, we're all agreeing of what's being describe. Whether it is halving, halvening or even halfing. It's understandable of what a person is talking about.

Agreed, There’s no right term to use since we are free to use any term as long as it describes same thought which others can understand. This is same with hodling and other slang term on crypto. I think most important thing is that we understand what’s gonna happened after halving/halvening/halfing/halfckening.

But Halving is the most popular term to use here since I experience 2 halving during 2016 and 2020. Halvening is just use on the social media lately.
909  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: July 09, 2023, 01:34:20 PM
That is the fact because casino need revenue to run the business and anytime you see a a casino in consistency in operation it means that their are generating enough revenue to run the business and that revenues comes from the loses and tge wagering of their customers.
So that is why gambling winning os base on luck and accurate calculation because just one game can destroy the entire ticket, but also we can't deny the fact that a couple of players have won the bets and earned a high stake that will cover up for the multiple loses they record in the previous time.

I agree every casino is focused on revenue generation that is a fact. Still, you cannot ignore how they loot and sometimes scam users. There are a few casinos that stop gamblers from committing further losses while continuously losing. There have been a lot of instances when a user who has been winning constantly by following all the rules gets stopped and then banned. I do know that most of the time when investigated these guys were caught scamming. Still, there are a few who are still genuine but still get scammed by these casinos. Not everything is green on the other side of the fence.

If read the ToS, Casino has the right to close any account based on their own discretion without giving a detailed explanation. A players that is consistently having profit is not profitable on their business so they will surely kick you out or limit it to avoid loss in the long run for the casino since they are a business and not an income source. Their business is more on providing entertainment rather than giving money.

It's really unfair for players if we think about it but you will understand if you are a casino owner that want to make your business healthy as possible by removing gamblers that doesn't contribute to the casino profit.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 08, 2023, 06:21:42 PM
This poor kid doesn't even have a chance to breathe.  Look I'm never big on guys over 7 foot and the hype they get because with the way the NBA is its hard for most of those guys bodies to last.  But it's one game in the summer league and he is what all of 18 or 19 years old.  He isn't gonna dominate the NBA this year everyone knows that. Scoot was always a better talent for the NBA today.  In the next 5-10 who knows but his game translates today vs a 7 foor 4 young kid.

What he should do is to be in the safe side while he is still a rookie because his body is not yet qualified to go head-to-head with the other bigs in the league because that will just give him an injury or probably worse than that. I know he doesn't want that and the whole franchise doesn't want it either, and we can see how careful they are on Wemby because he wasn't playing that much to avoid unnecessary outcome especially after Kai Jones dunked on Wemby and that wasn't a good picture to see.

I think Wemby is doing well on his first game. People is just putting him on a lot pressure due to the expectation even though we all knew that he is still Rookie despite of his no.1 draft pick title. Wemby has a good ball handling and shooting skills which is a good skill set for a 7 footer like him. His body might look fragile now but San Antonio is popular for a good player developer especially if the player has a potential. I’m not expecting a lot to Wemby on this summer league or even on NBA regular season.

But give him 2 or more years experience and training with Spurs then he will be a very good center. Spurs is known for scouting talent like Robinson and Duncan. I think they can develop Wemby properly since this is their chance to have another great player that will carry the franchise for another championship in the future.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling scenario that keeps repeating on you on: July 08, 2023, 04:53:14 PM
I have this kind of gambling scenario that I’m always experiencing when I’m gambling. Whenever I use bankroll that is close to 00 like 80, 180, 290, 360 and so on always result to a lose in the end. It’s very hard for me to surpass the nearest 00’ milestone no matter how hard I try on betting slow or quick. I knew the problem is I’m rushing to achieve that goal to have a closure that makes me struggle on the game instead of focusing on being happy to play the game.

We cannot use a close randomization of figures to serve as the reason why we win or loose, some can even say that if theirs ended with odd numbers it will result to a lost game, there are many ways of reasonings we can decided to term this kind of experience because this looks more of being psychological than facing the reality with the whole gambling experience and we often have to relate the conditions around to be the factors that are stopping us from winning, but in the general idea, it's believed that gamblers often looses than winning whenever they are gambling.

You are correct that this a psychological struggle on my part since this event is more on the way I view that round number which gives a huge impact on my gambling mindset that effects my decision making on gambling. I acknowledge this problem since I knew my patterns that keep looping but still I don’t have any solution to stop them aside from limiting my gambling budget to bare minimum.

Gambler is really often lose on every games since we have limited bankroll and a long lose streak can deplete our balance instantly. I think the joy of having profit should be our main goal on playing rather than counting our profit and losses every game.
912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 08, 2023, 03:34:05 PM
As newbie I'm of a suggestion that it's good to advocate time to learn bitcoin and its chart of market before investing in any part of cryptocurrency investment and bitcoin, as a new investors that want to make profit and don't want to experience losses in investment, we should know the values of coins either altcoins and otherwise before investing

The word “newbie” is clearly doesn’t give you an edge to have suggestion that will be view seriously by other members here especially if you suggestion is more on your experience since you are just new. Most of us here knew the very basic of investing which is the point that you mention. A newbie giving an advice is always a stepping stone here to get merit which usually being ignored.

One thing I like on your post is the part which learning is a continuos process. You should keep doing that until you have enough experience to share an advice to user that is much longer in crypto investment.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 08, 2023, 03:20:39 PM
Quest almost had it.

If Ammar did just focused on their objective to just destroy the T3 tower, it would have ended well for them. But Team Liquid did a come back, gg and well played for both teams.

Ammar is a double edge sword player, He is good when he is on the zone but he is bad too when the game is not favoring on his team. He is easy to become carried away on clash and become arrogant just because his hero has an early advantage. Quest already got the game when they won their last clash with Aegis until Ammar just pick off during their high grounds just because he is greedy on getting Liquid supports in the backline instead of playing safe by destroying that T3 tower.

On the other hand. Zai is doing a great job pressuring all lanes when they are still behind gold and when they lose team fights. This is the reason why Quest can’t do high grounds immediately since they need to react on Zai pressure on all of their lanes.

Geez, I'm always late for gifts from Bitcasino. Well, maybe next time, I can be lucky to get one.

Congratulations to those who got the Free Spins bonus and enjoyed the win.

I saw one user named James Gunter who said he won $370 from those Free Spins. That is a huge reward just for using Free Spins.

Hopefully, I can have that luck next time, even if it's not from Free Spins.

I’m late too this week on claiming the code. The code seems very fast to claim now compared to previous weeks. It’s a good sign that Bitcasino telegram account is already gaining new interested member. I will be more vigilant now on waiting for the drop code.

Since I missed this week giveaway, I just play some blackjack and manage to hit a huge side bet win with a straight flush for 2$ bet. I think I bag 80$ profit on side bet alone while I' break even on my 2 hands that time with 10$ bet each. I stop immediately and cashout after that huge win from siders. I’m very happy on this week result even with short games since I'm just trying my luck after missing the giveaway.

915  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin will accepted worldwide for legal then price rising $100k?? on: July 07, 2023, 09:15:59 PM
If btc is legally accepted in all countries then a huge number of investors will increase. and the use of BTC in various fields will increase.

what is your opinion about this?

This may take a long time to happen, and it requires a lot of work in terms of government regulations and other factors that could limit the spread of Bitcoin adoptions.

Decentralized is completely opposite to what the Government preferred governance. Other countries is already making their move to counter Bitcoin mass adoption through their own CBDC that will mislead their citizen as blockchain token alternative to Bitcoin. I think this will be their counter to the movement for Bitcoin Legal tender.

The 100% Bitcoin Legal tender will not gonna happened even in long term because Bitcoin has limited supply and decentralized. Government will not legalized that kind of currenct which they didn’t have a full control over it.
916  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 07, 2023, 07:57:10 PM
I see them last logged in on July 3rd. Last post made on May 17th. It's obvious they are not posting very frequently since last March. Anyway, what update do we have now. Are they back in the track or still the site maintenance continues?

The maintenance still continue that is almost a week without any update in all social media channels. This is a very serious problem and probably within the management since there's not staff available to shed a light on current event. I'm not a regular player of Betnomi but having a long maintenance like this without any advisory is a red flag already.

They have a lot of events and giveaway here in the forum. It will be such a waste if they leave now on this state.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network is under investigation in Vietnam on: July 07, 2023, 07:49:06 PM
Pi Network is a huge scam beyond our imagination. It seems Vietnam has started an investigation against them,

https://technext24.com/2023/07/06/pi-network-investigated-fraud-vietnam/

If you are still mining this coin from your smartphone, probably it's the time to remove the app permanently.

But but but PI will be worth 1BTC someday said by die hard Pi Network farmer since 2018.  Cheesy

Pi network army is like cancer on social media that doesn't die even if they didn't get anything from destroying their mobile device by mining this useless token that is still doesn't have any mainnet. I'm not familiar with Pi Network structure but does the team of this project is from Vietnam that makes their government manage to investigate them? I really hope they will be busted and jailed since they are selling Pi tokens via P2P.
918  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Blackrock ETF for the win! on: July 06, 2023, 02:27:45 PM

919  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: General Crypto on: July 06, 2023, 02:19:26 PM
What is the most unhackable crypto platform?

There's no such thing as unhackable platform all else there will be no crypto hacking incident happening on crypto since they will just copy the code of the specific platform There's an inside job that is biggest threat for all crypto platform to be hacked even with the most biggest and secured platform is not exempted to this threat.

Bitcoin blockchain is the only almost hack proof on crypto since it's complete decentralized and no one owns 51% hash rate to attack the network and overwrite a transaction. CEX and DEX and other DeFi is all hackable.
920  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which will be best non-KYC exchanger after Ku-coin? on: July 03, 2023, 06:39:58 PM
As we all users of kucoin have knows the news of Ku-coin putting the KYC verifications mandatory for all users on 15 july 2023.
Ku coin was one of my favourite reliable exchanger specially for the non kyc system. But now they are also putting kyc mandatory ,
So I need some suggestions Which can be a reliable non kyc exchanger like kucoin?
Are you a P2P user? I think OKX and Huobi are the only best choice as an altenative for Kucoin if you are not a P2P user. All the CEX requires KYC for P2P users that’s why I ask this question at the beginning.

The rest of exchange that doesn’t have KYC requirements are low tier exchange/low liquidity exchange. I don’t recommend using this exchange at all just to dodge KYC because you are literally gambling your funds once you deposit on these low tier exchange because they low liquidity on orderbook that cause huge price impact and sometimes they freeze account for unknown reason.
