901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you gambled? on: November 13, 2016, 04:23:43 PM
I have joined bitcoin since 2015 and lately after couples of months, I decided to gamble. Since then, i have spent waged almost 5BTC to gamble and i do not know exactly the amount of bitcoin i have won and lost. But i think i gain more than i lost.

Wow mate!! it's really good that you gained more btc in gambling.. and it's not very common for some people because many of them including me do gets more loses than winning. So now, I'd already limiting myself to do gambling.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: November 13, 2016, 04:20:23 PM
Better ask google for help ,try to search in google that answer by typing best dice casino sites for invest in bankroll 2016 and try to not invest all your money in bankroll so if you want invest try to learn with lower amount and do it with lower amount and you can also try if lose double invest but only in safety sites which will not scam you.

You can also read the thread that's available here in bitcointalk.. topics about getting investment for your btc and many sites are available and just pick the best that you think will help you make profit from your btc. Just be careful for some scammed sites.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: November 13, 2016, 04:16:36 PM
keeps me coming back from gambling I guess when I want to revenge and I want to get back what I lose. And I also want the excitement in this kind of game, but I know when to stop in the gambling form betting because I don't really want to lose a lot of money because of this.  Grin

Maybe a lot of people are always doing the same thing you did because of the same reason you always want recover all your loss which is supposedly hard to make possible . And because of that , there are instamces that you are losing more and more money meaning to say the amount of your money loss in gambling is definitely increasing which makes it more impossible to retrieve .

Yeah and it's human nature where we always want to get a revenge.. in gambling we always chase our loses and in the end we lose a lot of money.. we have to learn to accept our failures and loses otherwise it will be harder for us to stop and keep coming back.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 13, 2016, 04:12:14 PM
It is wrong if you are addicted to it. Being addicted to something is always not good. It can ruin your life or worser than that. It is not if you do it for fun and entertainment. And not expecting a return after you gamble.
Of course, nobody wants o be addicted, but when we are in gambling we are having so much fun and we failed to notice that we are slowly being addicted. I wish we can outdo what was happen already and I do not like to be addicted either but chances brought me here. Despite of that, I will not call gambling as wrong.
Like you, only very few gamblers/people will not agree to call gambling as wrong. Maybe the reason they have not faced the real problems of gambling in your life. In my beginning days in gambling I really enjoyed gambling even I was facing continuous losses, but one day when I realized how much time and money I wasted in gambling, I started calling it a complete wrong.
well what was wrong there is your attitude towards gambling. it happens to almost everyone, perhaps not gambling in general but when you spend too much time and money on something that is not beneficial to your or your family, then that's what can make it wrong. we should be able to see how gambling can affect us and our daily lives and how it can ruin our relationship with those we love. gambling can be regulated. we just have to have a different perspective so that we can avoid addiction
Some people may not realized how addicted they are in gambling.. not until they are completely broke and lost everything they have including their love ones. These people perhaps are deeply troubled and need help to limit their addiction.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much amount of bet you prefer? on: November 13, 2016, 04:03:28 PM
how much amount of bet you prefer?

I can bet up to 2-3 bitcoins per match. It's depend on the match that how confidence i am on that match and how much bankroll that i had. If i have big bankroll, my base bet will increase too.

wow, so you are willing to make a bet as big as 1400-2100 USD which is a huge amount of money to gamble with and since the first rule of gambling is to bet what you can afford to lose i am guessing that you are rich because otherwise making that kind of bet is plain dumb!

I think so that person is looking rich that is why he is risking with that huge amount, 1400 - 2100 $ is pretty high amount for me to because I can afford to take risk with that even on 99% sure match too, as I know better nothing is guaranteed in world of gambling.
well, that is bitcoin very much. you use 2-3 BTC for each time a match, but if you win, maybe you'll get a very large gift and if you win in the long run, it can make you rich quickly, but something quick like that also has risks comparable. Well, I prefer to prepare 0.01 to 0.1 BTC for each game
Oh my that's a very huge bet.. and a very risky one for such one game to be at stake. 0.01 btc is enough for me to bet for it.. I'm afraid of losing.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: November 11, 2016, 05:55:58 PM
If you are  a gambling  addict  you would surely come back to  play   again  because  you are  already  addicted  and you will always chase you  lossing  for sure  but as we all know   its  not  possible  on gambling  infact we would even  lose  more   money  if  we   play for  long runs.
Definitely true mate.. most gamblers have this type of attitude towards gambling they always chase their loses and hoping to get it back and in reality it's not they keep on losing and losing.. then became more addictive in gambling and you can't really stop them.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: November 11, 2016, 05:51:07 PM
Just want know how much the gamblers who use analysis when play gambling and what kinds of gambling game? And do you think it is needed or not making analysis on gambling game or it is depend on lucky. Thanks for share your opinions and experience.

I use to try with dice but then I looked at research and still thought maybe I can change it. But nope, maths is maths you can't argue with the figures. There is sway in both ways (lose or win) but in the long run lose wins.

Yes mate.. there's no special method, strategy and analysis for you to win in such games like dice, slot machines. It's all luck and hoping to win but in the end you will always lose.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: November 11, 2016, 05:44:32 PM
I dont think soo  that  gambling  would   be profitable  for  long term. but  i do  hear  about   some  professional gambler  could able to handle   and  making   gambling  as   a  profitable  activity but they are doing  sport betting and  poker which seems  its possible   because  those games are basing on experience and strategies but   when you play gambling   like dice and  slots  i dont  think its possible.
to me bitcoin can be profitable in long term but not for every one, for those people who play gambling in a limit and having good experience in gambling they can get profit from gambling.
Indeed.. but if you use your bitcoin to do gambling.. definitely you will lose in the long run. Not like investing your btc via trading although there's always a risk but still you can still make a profit from it.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 11, 2016, 05:28:38 PM
Gambling is very addicting because of the fun that you can have with it, its nice to gamble and because you can win money and also just play the game its addicting.
Money is making people blind like in the most cases.
Money is the root cause of all evil if you are addicted with gambling, there's no way you can win in gambling if you are not too focus. You need to give time and once you are addicted you are not making a good decision and you rely only in your luck, we know luck will not give us a win in the long run.
I do not agree with the statment you said "you can win in gambling if you are not too focus".
Gambling is based on a pure luck,no matter what you are betting on,either sportsbook or a dice,it is still based on a pure luck, you dont need to be focused to win or unfocus, doesnt matter at all.
Sometimes you really win but it does not guarantee you to win in the long run. In a matter of time you will still lose, winning temporarily will only give you small winnings and you are happy temporarily but still you will end up losing big amount of money.
Quite true mate.. That's why the house will give you small winnings so that you will stay to the game and let you play until you lose and all of your money. And after a few days you will still go back to try again to gamble to recover your loses. This is why very become a habit or addictive to you.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 11, 2016, 05:22:59 PM
Gambling is a fast way of earning if you are very lucky unfortunately luck is so rare like once in a blue moon. On the other hand, there's a big possibility you to lose you money fast too. So if you really want to be safe then don't gamble at all or just use their faucets to play. Think about it.

you're right because gambling will also lose all of your money for gambling for a long term. that's why im gambling just for fun and not for source of my income. but sometimes my fun give me total chill when im winning on a bet. Let's say that im gambling for dual purpose. get a huge amount of money and for my entertainment Smiley

That's correct. A lot of gamblers doesn't have this way of thinking because some of them don't realize the amount of money they lose and chasing all of it and hoping that they will win in return.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much amount of bet you prefer? on: November 11, 2016, 05:06:50 PM
It always depends on the odds. If the odds are on your side, you will bet different amounts.

For example, I was convinced Hillary would win, her odds where really low, like x1.250 , so I was considering betting like 50% of my Bitcoins... of course, I ended up not betting and I am so happy that I did not, if I did I would be too depressed to be posting now.

lol mate.. I also thought that Hillary would win and I'm very very confident about it. And now I'm really thankful because I did not bet on one of the betting sites for presidential elections.. otherwise I will cry like a baby  Cheesy
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling worth to try for newbie? on: November 11, 2016, 04:50:11 PM
Gambling is worth trying even as a newbie. You need to try gambling but all I can give advice is don't let yourself to get addicted. Gamble is made for fun and entertainment only indeed for me. Encountering it for you to know how it works and have experience too.
Well its good to experience gambling once in your life so its ok for beginners to try it. But the danger of getting addicted is a bit bigger for beginners so if you're going to start gambling you have to be ready with a lot of self control
That's so true.. once you're enjoying in gambling definitely it will be hard for you to let it go. As early as possible try to control yourself and know when to stop before getting you deeply involve in gambling.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: November 11, 2016, 04:46:26 PM
There is really no such an "easy" when you already used to it and started to being addicted to it, but the real issue here is that if someone could this obviously you also can. It's about accepting defeat and move on.

Right, it is really not easy to give up, socially for addicted person. I know that i am not addicted person but instead of it i never accept my lose. And in this way, i was doing more bets to recover our lose, Than i realized it was more bad way, better is that accept our lose, and don't play again and again to recording lose, Just quit it on the time. Next day, play it with a new hope and forget the past.

In that situation, you just actually creating a much bigger problem. You may not feel it now but  sooner or later you will realize. I am not trying to convince you to stop gambling addiction for yourself but if you do think of other's future like if you do have a family already then go to experts and treat yourself.

Indeed.. perhaps divert your interest into something that gambling is not involved.. try to stay away from things or places that will lead you to think about gambling. Have some fun activities with your family / friends that may help you to forget about it. It's really hard to quit but if you're really willing to give it up then it's up to you.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: November 11, 2016, 04:42:42 PM
I am earning and collecting bitcoin to bet on sports in future. Will it be a good choice to invest in it betting or other things.Where should i invest my bitcoin to have a long term profit?

much better you're gonna invest it that waste it on gambling. in gambling there's no guaranteed that you will earn profit from there because its not always you're gonna win in gambling. but if you're gonna use it on investing you will make it a profitable. even tho both are risky but investing is way more better than gambling.

Agree with you mate. It's going to be a waste of time and money when you do gambling. Better to invest it or save your money for your future. It's good to experience gambling but not too much.. just try at least to have some fun then know when to stop.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Putting money in lottery is gambling too? on: November 11, 2016, 04:36:45 PM
Lottery is for sure gambling when you buy any lottery ticket you spend money in case of not winning you simply loose money and there is nothing to get back in return. This is gambling too where you win or loose in the end as there no middle state. Lottery works same then why it can be different than gambling.

Yes your explanation is so true, Lottery is gambling too, because you buy lottery ticket, if you win, you will get a jackpot, abig money,, and if you lost, you will also lose your money.

Lottery is a form of gambling which there's a money at stake.. you're trying to win the jackpot with luck. Same with other types of games in gambling you need your luck to win.  Smiley
916  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: November 11, 2016, 03:59:15 PM
People should accept the reality that trump would be the next president, I do not think dollar will crash that is not what trump had promise in the campaign, according to him he will make america great again.

So I am expecting dollar to be more stronger.
That's also what I think. Dollar will not crash because it is strong besides, america is a big and powerful country. In addition Dollar is one of the most popular currency in the world so I doubt it would crash. Trump asked the support of the people who don't vote for him.
Indeed. Dollar will not crash even if they have a new president. If dollar will crash definitely most of us will be affected especially here in bitcoin community. I also think that dollar will still remain stronger.
917  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: November 11, 2016, 02:43:29 PM
Maybe we can apply the saying, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket." in here. Invest some of your bitcoins in the hot altcoins and then keep an eye on the market of that coin. I don't recommend investing in cloud mining sites for obvious reasons but if you really do want to do mining, then I suggest that you buy your own mining rig. You can also invest in new gambling sites and startup projects.

That is good suggestions, not to invest on cloud mining sites. Also better to invest in gambling sites than become a gambler itself Smiley There are many ways you can invest your bitcoin but be sure to background check bfore you put your bitcoins. Always be vigilant.

Gambling sites it's very risky to invest your bitcoins.. you really need to check the credibility of the site and ask few feedbacks from others who also do investing in gambling sites. Careful for those scammed sites who will lure you.
918  Economy / Economics / Re: Mexican currency is dropping fast will they use BTC? on: November 11, 2016, 02:08:10 PM
Remember that Mexican Border Wall Trump had promised? And remember that Mexico was supposed to pay for it otherwise remittance payments would be retained?

Will the Mexican peso currency is losing its value on the market.

Will the Mexican population rush to use bitcoin as there currency is failing, or will shaken investors move there recent sell off into a stronger decentralized currency?  Grin

Mexico is not exactly known for their pursuit of technology and new things. they are not a developed country so i wouldn't count on them starting to buy bitcoin just because of their local currency is being devalued!

don't forget that this has already happened with so many different countries and they never started to buy bitcoin!

That's true. Most of the people everywhere in the world (not Mexico alone) are not that tech-savvy to go for Bitcoin all at once. But let's face it, bitcoin infrastructure has become significantly more beginner-friendly in the last couple of years.

I can imagine the people in Mexico want to invest in US dollars.
Sooner or later, if the mexican peso keeps on falling, the government there will make it hard for the people to exchange their currency against dollars.
Then they could use bitcoin as a way to convert pesos into dollars.

Hopefully Mexican government will do something about it.. they must make a treaty with the Americans and provide better solutions which is more beneficial for both countries. It's really hard for us people to see a falling country.
919  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: November 11, 2016, 01:43:05 PM
It is not that easy. Yes, bitcoin gives us freedom from banks, governments and stuff. And yet in makes us its slaves in a way. Why? Because we are sort of bond to use it, because it can give us something which other money can't. And yet even if there are some disadvantages of Bitcoin, we tend to forgive them, because it is good in other ways.
That doesn't make any sense. You're bound to use bitcoin? Of course you would want to use bitcoin because it's a form of money and it's better than the others. Well, you can always choose not to use bitcoin. You're also bound to use fiat money, would you choose not to use it as well? You can always leave the bitcoin community if you feel like you're being enslaved by it.
I agree. I don't know why some felt that they are being enslaved by bitcoin.. though we can't blame since they have the right to say whatever they feel.. but for me, bitcoin changed me and my perception towards managing my money and I'm really thankful for that. Just saying though  Grin
920  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 11, 2016, 01:26:01 PM
I think saving might be a better option, after analysing the politics in different countries and the current value of BTC. I think the value of BTC might even go to $800-$830 in the next year and it might increase a lot during the halving. But these are estimates, as you all know. The value of BTC might fall anytime, its best to buy then, as it is 89% guaranteed that the price will increase gradually again or the price might even take a leap if you are lucky.
It's good to be positive despite the fact that there are some crisis going on in some countries, bitcoin is not affected with some crisis going on as I believe we are a strong economy and we have people from different countries who will dictate the price to rise.
And don't be get too frustrated if bitcoin price will get low.. investing takes a lot of patience and you can't invest overtime.. it may take days, months or even years to make a profit. It's a good attitude for you if you're really positive and believing that you will make a good profit from your bitcoins.
