501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: June 15, 2017, 06:33:14 PM
I mainly trade BTC and rarely gamble as in gambling even though the market is unpredictable and gambling, but there is no house edge and the possibility is the same, also skill and analysis of the market does help a little, Gambling on the other hand is completely random and with a house edge.
This is quite true mate. You better invest your bitcoins into trading rather than gambling. The probability of getting more profit in trading is much higher than gambling because you are only playing it and if you always lose definitely you'll lose your ground while doing trading atleast if you know how to analyze and predict the outcome you'll have a better chance to multiply your bitcoins.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: June 15, 2017, 06:29:19 PM
There is no particular strategy to winning at dice. Undecided

You just put in your amount you want to wager then you press "Roll" and just pray it goes lower or higher then your pick.

That's about it really. Embarrassed

I don't know why they could come up with a strategy in dice games. If there is.. well all of us will get to win and the house will lose. There's no really way for us to manipulate the outcome of this game. It's a matter of your choice and a big luck when you play dice games.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When did you start gambling? (Because of BCT Promotion?) on: June 15, 2017, 06:26:24 PM
I heard it from my friend whose into bitcoins and he said that you can do gambling through online and that's it. I've tried few different sites who offers different games no matter if I sin or lose just want to try and experience gambling. Until now but I limit myself into casino games and for now I'm into sports betting.
504  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: June 15, 2017, 06:23:06 PM
What did you do to make you realized to quit gambling or to stop playing gambling for good? But when playing gambling you always get happy nor nervous of playing it however if you won most of the time you will excite your self more to play another round till lose every thing also maybe you push your self too much to play gambling that is why you already lose your confident to play gambling anymiore.
That's why you should limit yourself while gambling. Set a threshold, after reaching the threshold for that day, stop, just stop gambling. Doesn't matter if you lost or won. Just don't gamble for that day. This way you can stop playing for another round. When you feel like playing more, focus on something else.
Yes. This is also what I do. Regardless if I win or lose I always set an amount of money when I gamble. Then I stop. Controlling yourself will help you stop being addictive in gambling. It will still be your choice in the end.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: June 14, 2017, 07:35:52 AM
If I would gamble to learn lessons in life, might as well by myself a self-help book. People are gambling because of entertainment. Some are gambling in hopes that they would make money from it even though the odds of that happening is really low.

I think people just use it to feel less sorry for themselves and say that gambling has taught them lessons in life such as having no emotion when making decisions, staying calm, etc. Gambling can give you life lessons only when you're being delusional. Life lessons can be learned in experiencing life itself.

This is a good thought mate. We need to experience things first before we learn sometjing out of it. Regardless if the outcome is positive or negative. We will not be able to learn from it unless we try it first like in gambling. We can't provide feedback if we hourself hasn't been tried gambling before.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 14, 2017, 07:30:09 AM
The time i decided to quit gambling its not easy to me because when i think my loses i want to gamble again. That time i decide to help my self not to gamble anymore. Now my life are good because more than a year i stop gambling.

Good for you mate. You were able to overcome your gambling habits. I also had the same experience but seems gambling will still be part of me. Though I'm not gambling much as I did before but it somehow help myself to overcome my addiction and life is back on track. Good job to us!
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 14, 2017, 07:27:12 AM
As what I've predicted Warriors will win this series because of the fire power they have including their bench players are really contributing compared to the bench of Cavs. It's a good series for GSW. I won also a lot of money because of you guys. Congrats GSW!!!
508  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: June 14, 2017, 07:24:07 AM
^^! Rolling is my life... not my addiction.

What is the difference? I guess that is pretty much the same. But I'm not saying that every addiction is bad, it depends on the addiction you do have. Since we are talking here about gambling then I could say that it is a bad addiction, especially if you are not winning at all most of the time. I do gambling, but I control myself for me not to get addicted on it.

Yes I agree mate. There's not much difference about it. In gambling if you win a lot you become greedy so you'll coming back for more till it will lead you to addiction then if you'll end up losing in the long run, you'll chase all your loses then you kepp playing then it will also still become an addiction. So pretty much gambling is really addictive.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: June 14, 2017, 07:19:27 AM
the answer is simple although we always get losses we still think we still can win although with very small chances and because the human greed we always want get more and more money we never satisfied how much we get, in my experience if today i lose next day i should back to recover my losses that is my important reason
Agree with you, that's the real reason if we keep thinking that we can still win will make us re-gamble continuously. have a mind like this is very dangerous because it will make you broke. there is only one way to stop it by using the limit to bet.

Indeed because we felt being challenge in a game when we gamble which is not really good especially if we're on a losing streak. Limiting your bets and controlling your emotions will aso help you out somehow losing all our money.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: June 13, 2017, 08:14:19 PM
that what makes it so popular, being something addictive that people can not just leave even after losing money multiple times, again trying their luck and waiting for even more money than that lost. the attraction is the big possibility of getting prices equal multiple times the played amount which is impossible elsewhere.

Yes that's true mate inspite of all the money you've lost you still coming back and chasing your money that you lose in gambling. And this is what most gamblers that it became so addictive to them because it provides pleasure and entertainment.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: June 13, 2017, 08:09:07 PM
For me seems cann't. Although I have tried to target 10% profit per day, a few days later ended busto. And the main mistake is ourselves that greedy. Although target has been reached, sometimes a desire to get a little more and that's when emotions begin to get out of control.

That's true mate. When you started earning something wether if it's for gambling or other form of investment sometimes you become greedy and that's what most people do they forget where they come from and you'll out of control until you'll lose all of your money.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: June 13, 2017, 08:05:15 PM
Worst is when i deposit all my btc by .1 btc before which is too big for me by that time,i almost win and then lose all in the other day, i just felt so damn that day.
My worst bitcoin experience could  be i lost all my money in just one game, all because of i have been push the button that says i will bet all my deposited value, and thats why i roll the dice and thats it all my money has gone, but i never stop loving and playing gambling. Gambling is always my first choice in bitcoins.

Aww.. that's very sad mate. It's good for you that even though you lost a lot of money you still gambling. This happens to me as well but it took me some time before I recover and get back to gambling. You just have to learn from your previous misktakes in gambling.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: June 13, 2017, 07:50:37 PM
But in that fact too many people play gambling and some of the players always think up that they invest in playing gambling to earn money .Its true that investment is a way to grow our money but in the sense of right investments snd not risking to gamble our funds in a easy money gameplay only.

There will be alot of people that will still gamble instead of relying on investment. In fact when you invest into a thing, it is pretty much the same as gambling. You wont know the result of the investment unless you put your money into it. It is pretty much random as well and in some sense it is no different than gamble
at least an investment has a clear purpose and more reasonable return rather than gambling that provide you a super irrational interest, so if you smart enough to think that investment far better than gambling you will avoid to gamble and choose to invest.

investment are not random as there is real data that leading into real profit calculation.

Indeed mate. Investing is far beyond better than gambling because you will know your money will be at when you invest into something. Rather than risking your money through gambling in which will not be very profitable for you in the long run.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: June 11, 2017, 10:38:11 AM
I never really liked gambling ever since I was a kid since I always lose the money that I earn from it. Well if you really want to gamble your money, here are some tips to prevent you from regretting any:

1. Learn when to stop - Gambling money may seem fun at start when you win but it can also be your downfall when you start losing. The tendency for this is that you want to recover the money that you lost from betting but in the end you lose all of your earnings.

2. Do not play everyday - Based from my experience, gambling everyday will really eat up your money in the long run as it is relevant to the first tip that I gave.

3. Do not go all-in with your money - Betting your entire money may seem tempting but you will actually regret it if you lose. Going high-risk high-reward attitude will get your nowhere.

To conclude, if you really have the guts to gamble your money then do so! It is your earnings anyway but always remember that when you start gambling your money, it creates and attitude of you going in-and-out of it until you exhaust everything. Always learn to stop especially when you are in a losing streak. Winning money feels good but losing all feels like the end of the world. I have known many people who suicided due to gambling and that is why I hate gambling. Good luck to you sir and may the odds may be in your favor!

Wow that's a really good suggestion mate. I think this would help a lot for those newbie gamblers. This way / method, can save you from losing a lot of money when you gamble. And this would really make you hit the wall like others that ruined their life already in gambling.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: June 11, 2017, 10:34:36 AM
I think there's no way we can avoid gambling, when we've got to know gambling then we have indirectly been addicted that's a problem we've never noticed.

We can avoid it mate. Just turn away from it. Turn your interest into something else in which can avoid you from gambling for good. Focus in your life, family and non gambling friends. Get into something that's making yourself very useful aside from gambling and that would help in my opinion.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the location affect when we gamble? on: June 11, 2017, 10:30:56 AM
In my opinion and since I'm not a supertitious person l, location doesn't really affect me so whenever I am gambling with then there's no really problem when it comes to location. Even through the internet I really wouldn't mind it.
517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: June 11, 2017, 10:21:28 AM
I think none. Even if you feel good when you are gambling. I say it will just come to you. You just don't know when it will be. Lucky for me is when you hit the jackpot in one game and that would a one in a million odds.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: June 11, 2017, 10:16:49 AM
Experience is a big plus for every sports bettor. But for some other games it is a useless thing and it adds nothing.
Like in dice games, no plus even you have experience with it.
And there will be some addition risk taking courage if you have experience on it.

Thats not going to help you. You dont need experience to do so. Im pretty much sure atleast 80 % of all sportsbettor actually choose the one that has lower odds as their option. It is part of the logic to choose those with the higher chance to win and everyone could keep doing it until they finally lose it somehow

Indeed mate. In sports betting experience is not the key. It's a more of analyzing on which team has a chance to win the match. So that's why you have to bet on a game on which you are really familiar with it. Otherwise, you'll ended up broke.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: June 11, 2017, 10:10:46 AM
I am a professional Sports Betting person, i have my daily limit of betting and from that limit i split it in different bets what ever i win or lose my daily limit dont change, so in long term my ROI is high, after i get triple of my invested limit i just withdraw bitcoin which i invested even i keep only my daily limit bitcoins balance i keep it in other wallet for future betting if anyday my bad day i lose daily limit i have to use the reserve limit for next day betting.

For a professional sports betting person, how do you research on bets and how do you manage to do that? How much limit do you also have? So what is your biggest win then? What did you do with it?

I agree with your withdrawal style of making it triple before withdrawing it. I would try to do that myself.

I try sport betting but i didnt earn enough from it or win alot.  I'll do research before betting but it may not really for me yet.

That's too bad for you mate. Maybe you made a low bet that's why the return is also low. Yes search for some legit sports betting sites who gives big winnings I'm pretty sure you will back for more once you already have a good site to bet with.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New way and this works fine for me on: June 11, 2017, 10:01:40 AM
I've been in a few months making bookkeeping for every deposit / withdrawal i did. Sounds a bit stupid but I feel the benefit of it all. Like I can resist my desire to gamble after loss much or after get huge wins. did you wanna try my way  Wink
So you basically record every deposit and withdrawal you made that way you could control your gambling habit cmiiw. That's a nice way of managing your money but I think it'll consume too much of my time if I try it. Limiting my bet amounts should be enough for me.

Actually, limiting bet amounts is best way to controll your money, much better than keeping track of  what you deposit/withdraw imo, as at least i know how much i deposited or withdrawed this month, while when you limit your bets you can stop yourself from losing more which saves your funds.

Indeed mate.. this is what most gamblers do they know how to control their bets so that they won't lose big time. I also apply this when I'm gambling and this helps a lot and make sure that I will not lose my ground.
