Buy altcoins because it will help you to minimize the risk that you have in bitcoin because bitcoin is not good always and it is better to have another source of income rather than bitcoin because if you will do altcoin investing in a good way then you will probably would make good profit.
which is right mate, if you know how to work with finding quality coins then you can make a good earnings from alts trading but there's also some risk so better to buy those coins who have a good system and development while its on its dip then wait after some time to gain profits. |

$BTG for me is another altcoin, but, I can use it to mine with my GPU cards, I'm tired to mine $SC ou $DGB.
yes an alt coin which can provide some chances to have good hash with mining it using our gpu then it can be exchange to btc and grab some good earnings hopefully, i'm very excited to see if how this coin will be look like, another btc fork and as we remember what happen with the previous coin (bcc) maybe same fate or it will turn to the other side. |

If China legalizes BTC with some regulation, it would definitely be a beneficial call for all BTC users in the long term as there is no fear of being banned. But I don't understand the process they are adopting, it means User in China first have to buy coin X made by the Bank of China, then convert into BTC through exchanges. That means first user will pay fees to buy COIN X then again pay fees to transfer Coin X to exchange and in last fees need to be paid to buy BTC...that is 3x fees to buy and 3x to sell. This plan only is efficient if transaction fees of COIN X would be negligible.
it seems that your analysis can be correct mate, in order for them to regulate bitcoin in their country they needed to create this coin so those who wants to continue trading bitcoin will be needed to buy the coin first I'm not sure yet if this already been clarified since there's no project yet that's been disscuss about this new one. |

I prefer day trading, because I try to be productive every day. but sometimes I am also holding if I think these coins have a good future.
if you already gain a lot better also to start investing with some project which is needed for some hold as they can bring much bigger profits, me after some time I learned also to look for pre sale and ico project while also having some day trade coins I enjoy it as I'm getting enough to sustain my daily needs while waiting for the big break coming out from those project that I'm holding. |

Yes it is actually a good approach if you invest in bitcoin, I actually invested some of my money in bitcoin and it will be considered as my life savings or one of my lifetime savings. Though a lot are saying it is not good to put a hold on bitcoin because the circulation of its supply might decrease but I highly doubt the supply will lessen so I stick to what I believe in and I believe in the future bitcoin will surely increase its value more.
stick with that and you will see the big future ahead for your financial status, bitcoin lovers already gain a lot from those years when bitcoin still a question in mind, look what its value now and who's involve inside this system, better to place some of your money into this investment and wait for maybe a year or two then feel the results. |

I think that ETH and LTC are the most promising alt coins out there. Both have sawed proper stability, with understandable corrections, but always coming back stronger. They are my favorite especially for long term investments.
I think eth have its support level but with ltc I'm quite unsure as bitcoin still showing high and still strong, with eth they have a lots to deliver in terms of progress we will see more updates maybe before this year ends or in the first quarter of 2018, btc will still the best one for my investment as its the first and will always be the number one. |

You should leave me thn 50% into bitcoin, if you want to trade some altcoins. Good altcoins are waves, eth and stratis in my eyes. All three coins are good longterm investments!
splitting is quite good but if you already got some knowledge about trading better to stick with btc for a while correction is ongoing and for sure just allow the fork to be completed and then lets see if what would happen right after. |

Considering the price rise alone right now is based on the burn that will happen, any more good news is just a bonus. Might be binance exchange listing announcement. They said they were 95% done with going through the binance process to getting listed. After a burn - does the value of the coin go up immediately or what's the usual process in anticipation of a burn? Never experienced one before.

Shift has good team behind it.
But the trading volume is very low.
Shift needs some attention from big whale.
Then it can go higher in my opinion.
It depends on whether it will be popularized at some point because as you wrote the team and the people which are in it dealing this coin are very good and good looking in future. well if you can attract big investors with a good road plans and better updates for sure this coin will jumped high but its still sitting down and waiting for some good runs, if planning for long term investment i see that theirs a good chances that this coin will bring good earnings just like what other quality coins out there, shift is for long term investment. |

Even though we can't predict the future, I do believe that we will see bitcoin around for a very long period, maybe even 100 year. But at some point something new might came up with better features than BTC and replace it, just like it's replacing FIAT.
we really can speculate but in reality we wont be able to assure that it will happen since that we cant live that long and the system have some downside still so we just needed to enjoy what btc is delivering for us, instead of thinking for that long period of time better to take advantage and a look deeper than what we are seeing and gaining right now. |

Mining may be less risk. But it still requires a big investment at the very start. If you want to invest small amounts and try to sell for higher and then buy again a little bit lower I think you would be better of especially if you dont have any knowledge on mining
