Advertising websites to help others web social presence to make a profit off of it is a great way touse crypto.
903  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: AdZone.cc - Bitcoin Advertising Network [Advertise And Receive Special Bonus] on: May 16, 2019, 08:29:53 PM
It is nice and I would have liked to try it out but I am using a subdomain, unfortunately. I do like how the website looks and feels and the admin panel is nice and the way you setup ads.
I actually found your website before finding it here.
904  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Overview of faucet scripts on: May 16, 2019, 07:45:14 PM
I found a nice list on cryptocreed and I thought it was good. This one has even more scripts. Everything together no need to waste so much time with searching.

FaucetCMS script takes a fee per claim instead of being free. Does anyone know what that fee is?
905  Other / Off-topic / Re: Solar panels possiblities on: May 15, 2019, 09:18:51 PM
I worked out that depending on where you live solar panels will pay themselves off within 7-10 years. It also depends on how much sun your country gets as well. Maybe if you take a loan you can break even with the electricity bill and then it's free forever. I think for young people it is a good investment.

I see how in Europe and America many people are starting to equip houses with solar panels and so many of their projects on green energy are incredible. Unfortunately, for the time being, in our country it is forbidden to install individual solar power plants, which contributes to the growth of popularity.

What!? So you can't do what you want with your own house? I wouldn't want to live there.

906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is simply too difficult to buy to gain acceptance on: May 15, 2019, 09:05:48 PM
Why are you not using a decentralized exchange? I also agree with you, we asked for our info but the info of the people asking for it is protected. You should not have given your info to begin with. Bitcoin is very easy to buy so I am not sure what you talking about. just because you couldn't buy any doesn't mean the rest of the world cannot either.
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fake money? Think again! on: May 15, 2019, 09:01:49 PM
Those sort of games rely on people to pay to make things happen faster and this means it can be limitless so you can spend infinite money really. It is like a money printing machine and people get addicted.
Those games only require a few people to keep running. There a few people who spend thousands and then most player play for free. I remember doing some research about this a while back.

In these games, the digital items have no value because there really isn't a market for them. When you use the blockchain and your items in-game are connected through it then you actually own your item and can sell it with ease.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin with real gold on: May 15, 2019, 12:32:49 PM
I researched between Bitcoin and real gold.

Bitcoin
Bitcoin is a digital asset, this digital asset is the same as gold but is only available in the digital world.
Bitcoin As a currency that has an exchange rate against other currencies, the movement of the price of Bitcoin also shows fluctuations. Even this is not often used by users to make Bitcoin a trading asset. But concerns, the price of Bitcoin turned out to be moving in very sharp volatility. In fact, the phenomenon of price changes.

Real gold
Gold is a soft and easily forged metal, its hardness ranges from 2.5 - 3 (Mohs scale), and its specific gravity depends on the type and content of other metals that join it.
Gold is used as a financial standard in many countries and is also used as jewelry.
The use of gold in the monetary and financial fields is based on the absolute monetary value of gold itself against various currencies throughout the world, although officially on the world commodity exchange, the price of gold is listed in US dollars. The form of the use of gold in the monetary sector is usually in the form of gold bars or gold in various units weighing grams to kilograms.
Gold can also experience price declines along with the reduced debt crisis that has engulfed a number of European countries such as Greece and Italy.

From the language I said above, it turns out that not only does Bitcoin rise and fall, but real gold in the real world also rises and falls.
If I say my language above, I hope that panic will decrease.
Have positive thoughts not to say that this is the end of bitcoin.
I did this research by comparing Bitcoin with real Gold, or does anyone have another opinion?
Yes bitcoin and Gold both having price volatility but major difference between bitcoinand gold is supply limit . Bitcoin is having maximum of 21 miilion supply . Gold is not knowing even cant get the overall supply limit . thats were both making difference . Bitcoin is more valuable than gold

Definitely. Not everyone even likes gold. I don't. I can't send you gold now if I want to buy something from you. I would have to transfer assets in stocks for gold and that can take some time. Crypto it is very quick to make trades compared to traditional methods. Though thinking about it, it doesn't matter what my personal opinion is of gold since others like it and if they will pay for it then I can profit, however gold is very stable and there is not all that much room for profit. In the long-term I think there are better things to invest in. I only see gold as an investable purchase for investment diversity for people who already have many investments. Maybe it brings comfort to know even if we lose all power in the world and the lights all go off and we lose internet their golden coloured lumps will be worth something. Not that life would be that great living with no power to begin with.
909  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 50K, China banned miners on: May 15, 2019, 12:25:58 PM
35 days ago I started a thread and I told you btc will go 9k$ bcz china banned miners, but some of you dont believed me, Today BTC is 8100$ in some exchange, Here is that thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5130327.msg50545198#msg50545198
Now I have a good news , BTC to 50k$ bcz china banned miner, my friend in China confirmed 90% of miner in china are shutdown. BTC can easy go to 50K$ and more.
Less miners = More Demand = increasing price, as simple as that.

You don't need your friend in China to confirm anything. Bitcoin runs on the blockchain which allows anyone to check what pools are mining where and with what hash power. You can look at the Chinese mining pools and check that way. Then you know it is a fact and not the word of a friend. Are you sure they have banned mining in China? Where is this info from? So much of this sort of this is FUD so who knows what to believe.

In any case when has banning anything ever done any good or really affected much? People will mine. I don't even know how they managed to mine for free for so long before the government changed that. It was so unfair on the rest of the miners for Chinese miners to get basically free electricity so its pure profit. The rest of us right now struggle to break even. Electricity just went up again so it's insane. If miners in China managed to mine for free for so long then I am sure they will find a way around this.

910  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which is best Bitcoin wallet? Other than hardware on: May 15, 2019, 12:20:31 PM
Hi,
Which is the best wallet for long term Bitcoin holding other than hardware wallets.

If you going to do longterm hodling you going to need a hardware wallet. Don't try to cut corners you will hurt yourself. You going to invest that much time in hodling then you can afford a decent wallet.
I know your question was meant to not include hardware wallets as part of the answer but you asking something like "what kind of tires should I put on my car if I don't want to spend a lot of money" some things you just don't skim in life, it just isn't worth it. But if you want to risk your crypto just to save less then $100 then you, not a serious investor. I would use electrum wallet.

GREAT -- thanks so much Mike

Pleasure. If you need more help just pm me.

First he never said it was his key, only a key,
First, stop trying to look intelligent by play semantic games... it's very tiresome and doesn't assist the OP in anyway.

next blockchain no longer allows import from key,
Next, that's inccorect. I see this in my old blockchain.com wallet:

so the ability to import from key is still available within blockchain.com wallets.

thirdly, you can use an opendime to do such a thing I suppose, and there may be other ways to do something similar these days.
Why would you want to use an opendime to convert BTC to fiat? That seems like a long winded (and expensive) way to achieve the stated goal. One would have to order an opendime... at an advertised minimum cost of US$39.94 for a set of 3 (+ taxes + shipping)... wait for them to arrive, then send the bitcoin to the opendime deposit address... then try and find someone to buy the opendime from you. Roll Eyes

Or you could do as suggested by others and simply import/sweep the BTC from the private key to a web wallet (like blockchain.com) or an SPV wallet like Electrum. Then you can send the BTC to an exchange that supports fiat withdrawals in your location or you could use localbitcoins and find someone in your local area to trade the BTC for cash.

Thanks for standing up for me I don't know what this guys issue is. Newbie telling a hero what to do lol.
I second using eletrum. I dont actually use blockchain.com anymore I use a ledger. For hotwallets its ok.
I do recommend that the OP doesnt sell the btc and use it directly. I buy everything with btc expluding food and petrol and rent. Everything else is btc. Even a car. ^^
Converting to cash is sacrilege. Infact 100% of my funds are in btc because I am a believer and put my money where my mouth is ^^
I only ever use cash where it needs to be used like going out and to markets and stuff. They only take cash not even cards so yeah.

Never use KYC exchanges. There is no reason they need to know who you are. If you know you not a criminal then there is no reason to let a stranger know who you are. You have no idea what they do with this info regardless of what they say. KYC= your family safety. Protect it. Crypto is ment to be decetralized to KYC is against everything crypto stands for. Besides KYC wont stop crime anyway. Obviously no criminal will launder through an exchange its far to obvious. So please never give your KYC to anyone ever. KYC has nothing to do with how legit a place is.

As a matter of fact. I was scammed by plaes that want KYC and i was never scammed by plaves that dont ask KYC.

OKEX that Chinese piece of shit stole almost $200 from me. I did as I always do. Deposit my coins sold them for btc and oops when I want to withdraw they tell me suspicious activity is going on in my account and the lock it and ask KYC for ransom. It is disgusting. KYC is a tool that masquerades as protection but is actually a tool for criminals to fuck you over. DO NOT TRUST KYC EXCHANGES!!!

I use a so called safe exchange and I get scammed first time around.
912  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What are faucets missing? on: May 15, 2019, 12:11:59 AM
There is something about faucets I really want to know: Why do faucet owners use Google Recaptcha to make verification. I think this Google captcha is the worst ever.
It works fine at the beginning but the longer you use it, the worse it gets (images getting blurry and grainy).
So in my opinion Google recaptcha is not adequate to be used in faucets. Don't faucet owners know that or are they too lazy to look for other solutions? Or is Google Recaptcha free and the other solutions are not? Or does Google even pay the owners to use their recaptcha?

I'm not faucet owner, but I can try to give you answer. Most of faucet owners using Reacaptcha because it gives best security and there is simply no good alternatives for it. I agree that this captcha is difficult and annoying, but there is not much what faucet owners can do to change it. As I know, other captchas like Solvemedia can be bypassed too easily. Google Recaptcha aren't paying to publishers, but other captcha like Solvemedia are paying. But these payments are so tiny and insignificant that probably many of faucet owners can't even reach payment treshold. Correct me if I said something wrong.

This is why I want to use fun captcha to replace google recaptcha and also want to know why others are not doing that. I am still learning so I really hope someone can answer me.

914  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbee Question -- Help Please on: May 14, 2019, 10:52:31 PM
Yes, you can import your private key into electrum or blockchain.info which uses online sync so no need to sync with the blockchain yourself. Since the blockchain is well over 200gb in size it just makes sense. Only people running nodes and things like that use the blockchain. So yes an online blockchain connection is your answer.
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: gotsatoshi.com to reveal the identity of satoshi in 12 hours on: May 14, 2019, 10:50:03 PM
gotsatoshi.com for a period of time has put a countdown to revealing the real identity of satoshi, the bitcoin's creator.
They seem to have some info or at least some influence as they are covered in various media.
What can we expect to get after 12 hours? The real satoshi? Is he willing to reveal himself or is someone blowing his cover?
Or just another fake satoshi who is trying to get attention?

Just an hour left in the countdown but I don't expect any surprising announcements. They might be doing some publicity stunt to attract attention to some other much important matter than knowing the true identity of satoshi. The way this site's countdown is spreading in news makes some sense.

It doesn't even make sense at all. We don't care who Satoshi is.
Satoshi title is now obsolete to bitcoin or crypto currency. He left Bitcoin on an early stage and Bitcoin has prospered without his help. He may as well be the creator of bsv but no one cares.

I agree. I am not sure why people are obsessed about this. This always makes people lose their minds about famous people. It isn't even that important. People have an obsession with knowing who someone is.
There is no way to prove who it is and it will never be revealed. Just hype nothing more. Maybe it is one reason bitcoin is mooning right now?

918  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucetify - Advertise your site with only 4000 satoshis for 1000 UNIQUE clicks! on: May 14, 2019, 10:15:39 PM
Nice prices. You have a nice selection of ptc websites. The websites are good quality and your website is too. It will be a powerful marketing tool for the crypto niche. On the first page I found some nice faucets as well as a site called picoworker which lets you buy and sell task for people to do. Helpful for referrals and other marketing strategies.v  I also got a free $0.75 for marketing to test them out.

I am dumb or those ptc ads are sort of broken ? Always getting error that token has expired or it's waiting for captcha almost all time.

Seems fine to me but I am not logged in. Maybe someone else can help?

I like the game but I am more interested in advertising. Will there be a way for us to advertise or buy banner space? Maybe you can do PTC website within this one so we can use earned bitcoin on advertising.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin with real gold on: May 14, 2019, 07:47:51 PM
lol "real gold"

Bitcoin is digital gold, its the best way to describe it and the whole reason why we call it mining bitcoin. I am not so sure why people struggle with the concept. It is pretty easy to grasp.
Gold is horrible anyway. Who wants gold unless they golden bitcoins with the private key on.

Rather invest your money into a company or an idea then on gold. The value doesn't rise as much as you can make investing elsewhere.
