902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Scams and Government on: September 27, 2020, 11:51:23 AM
That's a huge figure. This is one of the reasons why people are bashing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency, these frauds or scams are destroying cryptocurrency.
A lot of scammers are entering cryptocurrency because they know how decentralized cryptocurrency is and they can easily get out or disappear like a bubble after they are done scamming people and start again on something new.
I really support the new trend for startup, most of the project are from connection with friends, exchanges, investors and institutes. Binance and other investor angels are responsible for most of the startup that acquire fund recently. This will give confidence for investments, especially for the knowledge of the team and their track record.
903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend your cryptocurrencies? on: September 27, 2020, 11:43:32 AM
Lending will be easy and safe if we have a trusted/reliable escrow but how do we get this quality in cryptocurrency that scam is everywhere, another important thing is your token accessible any time you want to retrieve. Staking and Defi  is a reliable form of loaning your fund for interest and accessible any time. With all these opportunities I think consider the accesibility to my fund when the price pump
904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Yearly Lows on: September 27, 2020, 11:25:25 AM
The March price low of 3.8K USD will not be reached by the end of the year, unless the pandemic gets out of control and new lockdowns block the economy of the western world(let's hope that this won't happen).
However,I'm pretty sure that the price will go below 10K by the end of the year, there are no sign of bullish movement and no excitement about future price pumping. The investors are still very careful and appetite for risk will remain low for the next one or two years.

Panic was responsible for the dump not the disease itself, now the panic cant be that high with several gatherings from election campaigns and riot. We have also achieve 62 days of price staying above $10000 this year. $10k seems to be the recent low and we are likely see another wave if the price stay above $10k till Oct ending.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: September 26, 2020, 08:46:37 PM
I dont think it is safe not to be on telegram or twitter if you are in cryptocurrency. The 2 are the most active form of communication for cryptocurrency enthusiast, the competition in the space demand lots of development from most competiting project. So it is important to get those information early to save most of the token. However, bitcoin enthusiast may not need telegram at all but altcoin investors really need it
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETC mining is more profitable than ETH mining... ETC DEAD ? on: September 26, 2020, 12:18:22 PM
very few coins can go through what ETC had gone through and still appear on top marketcap after 1 month but the volume trade is reducing and could be as a result of dump. 3 attack 51% in a month is scary many holder, its such a large communities behind a project with no used cases. The team is just planning new partnership, developments and adoption before the attacks. The team is proposing defensive mining as a result of the attack to protect the chain
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain and Bitcoin adoption globally. What is the cause of the slow pace. on: September 26, 2020, 11:58:57 AM
Blockchain and Bitcoin has been on for more than a decade (according the statoshi's white paper) and up until this moment, there is still struggle in the global community in terms of adoption. Countries like India once placed sanctions on the technology and later lifted it. Russia made laws to govern and regulate the operation of the technology in a bid to take advantage of the solutions it proffers and loads of other stuff ongoing in different locations but still we still have a very slow paced increase in growth and devlopment and acceptance. What could possibly be the reason and what are the ways to further create awareness and global acceptance.
There is slight difference between blockchain and cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency is a branch in blockchain Use, blockchain is always gaining the acceptance in every sectors and more discovery of the use in data science. The struggle for cryptocurrency in countries is political but I think some financial system and greedy politicians are secretly employing the use to keep their fund and enjoy the profit from the volatility in price.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next trend for 2021? on: September 25, 2020, 09:12:46 PM
Fungible tokens have a future but it is too early to talk about the future value of NFT tokens. The DEFI markets are in the crypto trend now, so I prefer to make a research about the DEFI altcoins in order to invest wisely. THe trend of the next year can be this or that, the time will tell which option is more profitable.
Niffty is not actually new either, the first NFTs is around 2016. If it could not cause that big drive in 2017 bull market  because it has not mature or rather grown, we should expect a better profit for investor and successful use cases. Most applicable cases are the thriving sectors in our community. Gaming, real estate and Art are really thriving sectors not to give a share of outstanding success for cryptocurrency.
909  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] ETERBASE - Europe's Premier Digital Asset Exchange BTC/ETH/DAI/USDC/TUSD on: September 25, 2020, 08:11:52 PM
Do we have any updates after the exchange hack here? we dont know the development on the exchange since the hack and people are getting frustrated with the silence and slow approach of the team after the hack. I dont know my fate with hodling on to the exchange token ,when the exchange is accessible, how do we assure users that their coins are safe ? Confidence of users will matter now
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Oikos,Tron DeFi, Synthetic assets trading & trustless token exchange on: September 25, 2020, 07:56:17 PM
According to pinned message in telegram bounty group, spreadsheet will be filled with results till October 1.

There was a poll in telegram distributing round 2 rewards or make round 3 and distribute both rewards simultaneously. Team decided to distribute round 2 first. So expect a round 3 probably in October  Wink
bounty manager didnt confirm the third bounty campaign. I guess he was reluctant at the refusal to postpone distribution of token and elongate the campaign. I found that absolutely against the agreement on the opening post and this is the second attempt by the manager to do this. Even with signature campaign we will rarely see any reward above $150 at distribution after the participants was capped.
911  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Anonymous Crypto Payment Gateway | NO KYC on: September 24, 2020, 08:46:12 PM
This looks really great. Very nice website too. I hope you do well.
There are many off custody exchanges coming out lately and I wish a new member like you should verify or listen to others before placing token on the platform except you are part of the team
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't you stop rushing to promote bounty from a scammed bounty manager on: September 24, 2020, 08:32:31 PM
The last project of bubbalex is DIA, which campaign already broke one promise "first distribution". The first distribution has already been postponed for 2 weeks, let's see the next date. As op said KYC problem, the popular manager bountydetective campaign is a "Clipx" bounty. Clipx bounty didn't mention KYC but now they need the KYC process. Even the "injection protocol" campaign is doing several processes to reject more hunters.
Bubbalex is a good manager but had not gone to take the role of escrow in bounty management, I think if he had the token with him he will distribute in due time but How does he handle the terrible transaction fee in the market now, some manager face this problem now. Bubbalex do not request for KYC but the way I see him he could demand for it if the team request. Injective protocol is over, Eth and USDT were given as reward and they team had poor management in reward distribution.
913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if you invested a $1 in Bitcoin every day for 5 years on: September 23, 2020, 11:44:08 AM
There is already a thread that treated this topic and was started this year.

914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash what are your thoughts? on: September 23, 2020, 11:41:15 AM
IMO what Bitcash enjoyed in the early part of this year rarely happen and is as a result of craig wright prosecution, however, it was not sustainable for a long time. Most hardfork of bitcoin heavily rely on bitcoin pump so it does not make any difference from holding bitcoin, I even think bitcoin is more reliable to its hardforks. I am more disappointed with the irrelevance and masking of the bitcoin cash team in the social media, they are no more noticeable
915  Economy / Economics / Re: Can legalisation of Cannabis help US economy? on: September 23, 2020, 11:33:40 AM
Of course! It will be good in the sense that this business from the shadow and criminal business became an ordinary business (sorry for the tautology), and also related to medicine.

Thats will be the main problem when that time comes. Criminal activities will increase as this drug can be used anytime, as guns are so normal to own in US, it will be a good pair in my opinion.
The legalization of cannabis is as a result of inability to prohibit the use, so government proffer a regulated use: I expect such use to manage the quantity available in the form provided for the market. Cannabis is not the only drug that increases crime activities, alcohol does too but research showed that excess use of the drug result in most of these crime but how do we control excess use also. Excess quantities varies in individual
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: █▀▄ [ANN] DIA | Data infrastructure for DeFi | Binance/Kucoin/Bitmax/Okex ▄▀█ on: September 22, 2020, 09:02:47 AM
Those who participated in bounty now need to wait 2 weeks extra to get their first batch of bounty reward. Second and third batch will be distributed as promised.

Fo those who believes in project there is no worry, but for those who was there only for payment price reduction and postponed distribution is a tragedy  Grin
I think this market condition would have been the better time to distribute the reward. If anyone plans to dump and if there will be any price decline it will just fall in the present market slide. Although the quantity in the daily trade seem to accommodate any amount that could be injected in the market. The circulating supply is still low and there seem no information on subsequent supply.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of social media channels on: September 22, 2020, 08:52:52 AM
It is not always easy to keep it up with telegram updates, most times interesting updates are followed with too many messages that makes it difficult to read up. A good admin in such groups will put the priorities information in the pin message where everyone can read easily and admin can also refer anyone to.  I also think some information should be giving enough time with many form of advert on all the available social media the project use.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin such a big risk? on: September 20, 2020, 02:39:27 PM
Is it riskier to place your money in Bitcoin or hold them in a fiat savings account? What's your opinion?

Most countries dont give the return like in bitcoin, maybe none, not in Europe or America. Good financial advisers will look into other investments such as real estate, stocks, commodities etc. Bond is the only fiat saving platform that is rewarding but on a very long term, mostly beyond 5 years, even the reward is not in the size of bitcoin, mostly 15-20% interest not the 10-100x.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Rebounds as Bitcoin Holds Steady on: September 20, 2020, 02:28:02 PM
Ethereum is getting more engaged in some marketing advantages. 15% of ethereum is locked in Defi and the volume of ethereum trade daily is still high. It is so disappointing that the high transaction fee n Ethereum platforms still remain high and never affect the transaction volume. I realize that the profit from Defi cause to over look on the high transaction fee. By November ETH 2.0 will be out and it is capable of another spike that will push the price towards $1000.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India looking to Re-ban Bitcoin on: September 19, 2020, 07:21:35 PM
Their is a funny comment on the news that the last court injunction that allow bitcoin in India enabled 480% price increase in bitcoin. Thats incredible! I hate this back and forth in regulation, if they want regulations that allow this trade, the country should enact it. In the few months of trade they already have enough to lose, something around $3 billion only in India. ATM I dont think other asian countries rely on India to make any decision on cryptocurrency, they already did.
