901  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some commonly used crypto acronyms and their meanings on bitcointalk for newbie. on: June 07, 2023, 03:24:18 PM
Abbreviations are very common in every place that we have. It's amazing how we make it easier to remember stuff and know that there is something that you need to know to be knowledgeable and more efficient in your posts etc.

This is one of the latest that I can find in the forum.

902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early Bitcoin Transaction Fees on: June 06, 2023, 11:32:15 PM
Here is the transaction made by laszlo for buying two pizzas.
a1075db55d416d3ca199f55b6084e2115b9345e16c5cf302fc80e9d5fbf5d48d
As you see, laszlo paid 0.99 BTC as transaction fee.
It's good that you can see the amount it was transacted at that time. If you were to see it now, you would probably be sad or something right now. Sad That's going to be a hard pill to swallow, but you paid the price for it. Definitely famous because of it.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 06, 2023, 11:00:33 PM
Knowing what someone plans is problematic because that depends on their decision. Like how do you even know when it will come out? It's the anticipation of it, not knowing that it can be possible or not to have to be banned by the governing body of a country, that is torture. It's better to do what you can until it comes out. Doing something illegal once it's been enforced would not be worth it.
904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Argument: Can a digital currency sent to a wrong address be recovered ? on: June 06, 2023, 10:56:33 PM
It's going to be a hard thing to do knowing that it's impossible to know who owns it. Most of the time, they would probably think that it's "FREE MONEY". And also the likelihood of sending to a wrong address is low because you don't manually type it or something and typo in one letter or number in an address would be low chances of an address being used. That definitely has low chances.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do meme coins have a future? on: June 06, 2023, 03:30:12 PM
Mostly, that will be about all the hype with the current situation because it creates news and shares through social media that a particular coin could be profitable with the suitable activity in mind. I think meme coins have a low impact when it comes to having solutions or solving problems, but maybe it's only focused on one, to be a hype coin and make people rich and solve their money problems.

With all the sharing it garnered throughout that hype season, there are probably reasons why it goes hype, and maybe they are doing the right thing. I hope nobody gets wiped out or something.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: June 06, 2023, 02:01:53 PM
I wasn't able to watch the race live, and happy to see the places of Mercedes. Mercedes will be able to continue with that results with all the upgrades that they have done. It bore results for their hard work. I do hope that they find that missing piece so they will be able to compete with the RB.

Maybe Ferrari would be able to recover. It's still a long time before the season ends.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: June 06, 2023, 12:59:47 PM
This is sad news to know that this happened to students. It's supposed to be for other things but the sad truth is that "hope" that they can make more money by having to bet and gamble. That false hope is deadly and it literally went to death. Better be careful.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stolen BTC from electrum in 2018 accumulated in this adress on: June 06, 2023, 11:36:29 AM
An update, as of writing, this holds 3K+ BTC now.

Upon checking who the BTC address is, I think it's good to know this. I'm just not sure how fraudulent but of course, any public address can be checked and determined.

I don't know how it's 1969 with the first transaction or something.

909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dad's retirement money is invested in Bitcoin! on: June 02, 2023, 07:52:32 AM
I thought this was something your father decided on and he trusts you so much that he decided to do that for you. That's a good decision (Of course, I'm biased in Bitcoin) and that would be a make or break, and there's nothing wrong with deciding that as long as it's done wholeheartedly.

You can continue investing if that's what you want so that in the future, you can say that you have something to do with that since it's about Bitcoin.
910  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is never enough! on: June 02, 2023, 01:52:54 AM
That's just like the adrenaline rush that you get and the dopamine feeling that you are ready to receive what life has to give you. That's going to make you feel more invincible and blind you that anything can still happen. That's going to be the challenge and ensure you are within the grasp of reality. I think you have to have an understanding that you need precautions. I think being greedy like thinking it's never enough is not ok as well.
911  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need guides from the community? on: May 31, 2023, 09:39:03 AM
Here maybe I was wrong as I post my age, and you are saying you never know I am lying why I do this can you give any explanation about this as I am here just for new technology and updates because now I am feeling reading is never been ideal as talking with experts are mush better as happen to my for my electrum problem but still with this all now I understand few things and I will try my best to live in my own limits because good and bad are everywhere, and we have to live with this all here in this world.
31 years old is still young. I'm not sure how it is on where you are living but it's definitely not too late to learn about the new technology that is surrounding us. That's going to be a great application in your life and you would definitely learn a lot here. You should strive your best to be better.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: May 31, 2023, 01:48:26 AM
F1 and their fans are saying that was one of the best qualifying sessions many have witnessed when Verstappen dropped a beat from those hearts who were thinking either Alonso or Ocon were going to go pole. But the flying dutch man served up to his name with a 0.084 of a second better lap.
Formula Addict did a 3D rendering of that lap showing Alonso and Verstappen's cars if they were running together on an overlay of the track.
Verstappen's historic lap at Monaco: How did he beat Alonso? | 3D Analysis
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbDZJF7n1bI

Great 3D rendering I love it, the Monaco GP is surely one close Circuit for the champion quality driver, and in the qualifiers, all are awed when they are witnessing that some are able to compete in getting their hands with the 1st position but in the end, Max Verstappen was still the race leader and I think that will not change for a long time, but I wish Ferrari would somehow manage another Podium for themselves,
I really love this visualization. I love seeing how it progresses and how it happens to go that way in Verstappen's way. It's fantastic to see. The RB car is the best out there. Other cars can't manage to come close. It's both driver and machine for sure.

Thank you for this.
913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today I Have Shared About The Benefits Of Bitcoin With My Friends on: May 30, 2023, 03:08:44 AM
I'm happy that your friends understand that BTC has a limited supply and agree that it would increase in demand and make sure that they have that piece of the pie of BTC. That's going to be their decision now if they would push through.

It would be nice if there are referring benefits though lol but of course, it's BTC. It's the actual benefit.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Allow To Undergo Hypnosis If A Professional Recommend To Cure Gambling on: May 30, 2023, 01:18:17 AM
Do actual physicians resort to hypnosis to cure people? I thought it was always scientific-based unless hypnosis has a background already on the scientific community. I wasn't aware that it was being done already. Maybe hypnosis can be done to those who are ill and need help as well.

I would undergo hypnosis for gambling if I didn't control it anymore.
915  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How i can manage my job and my Bitcoin Trading at the same time? on: May 29, 2023, 01:22:48 AM
Managing your time depends on your time management skills, so if you have time to post here, you will have time to schedule it. If you are worried about being able to trade and do your job, it's better to take a bot and you almost have the freedom to "set and forget," but you should still check occasionally. You can set up a telegram bot for notifications etc.

The bot would help you solve this problem to trade still and work simultaneously. The bot is Gunbot, and if you need help setting it up, I got you.
916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Crypto will never reach mass adoption if it does not before more user-friendly" on: May 28, 2023, 09:45:57 AM
Those kinds of features are just like how people make it look like it's the more "fascinating" one instead of just having the precise feature that you need. It's to make it look more buffed and better, but in reality, it's not being used. A lot of it is, not just in cryptocurrencies but also in just software in your computer and not being maximized to its full potential.

We really need more education for those interested in crypto.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you invest in a project that might take years to outshine the market?? on: May 27, 2023, 08:14:04 AM
They are probably either looking to get quick bucks or not in the mood to get involved in the community. People stay in a particular project because they might have discovered the niche they want and somewhere to stay, like here in the forum. Then that will be the part where "long-term" is the goal.

If you think about it, a quick build project could look better. It's a baby, and are you sure you can take risks with those kinds of projects? I don't think people will jump at that opportunity unless you can.
918  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your favorite season to trade cryptocurrency? on: May 27, 2023, 06:24:36 AM
I never thought about it that way. It's when there is no rising or hype in the prices of any cryptocurrencies, that's the time when they prefer to have that research and see projects that are built to last. We will see how much they are going to last for those who claim that they can. I think the people who have started from the bear markets know what it's like and probably reaped rewards during the bull season. Don't you think so? This will make them even stronger, for sure.

My favorite season is the bull market, for sure. Almost anyone can profit, and that is going to be a hype. I hope that it will come to a time again the BTC will rise with an ATH again.
919  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: GameBoy Hardware Wallet! on: May 27, 2023, 03:14:55 AM
I'm interested in this project, would be on the look out for this.

I'm curious though to what extent you can make it. Can you have it with the games? Like with the cartridges? I can't find my old GameBoy but I have some of the old cartridges.
920  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Interesting Bitcoin Members Business Opportunity on: May 27, 2023, 01:51:41 AM
Thanks for your message, its nice to know that someone else agrees that it was worth keeping. I'm not sure if I have the knowledge and mind set to take this domain and social media sites to the next level as I'm coming up to my retirement soon, so I think it needs a young active mind that can develop it in to something truly Worldwide amazing, for me to look back on!
It's quite unique TBH. Bitcoin members sound like a community as well like what Bitcointalk has here. Maybe you could build something like that or that young active mind that has time to process and build it. I do hope you find someone worthy of that.

I'm curious how you came up with that idea of a name though.
