901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is the next Ethereum? on: March 05, 2016, 03:45:52 PM
Which coin is the next Ethereum and why?

I'm not sure if the world needs another Ethereum. But if you're interested in discovering the next great cryptocurrency, you should look into Goldcoin (GLD). Our developer is a Cisco systems developer and attended college with Vitalik Buterin.

Our principle mission is to create a bullet-proof blockchain that can be used as a safe haven for value storage. We created the world's first 51% defense system and a difficulty algorithm that outperforms all competitors. Jon Matonis has recently endorsed our plan to fulfill Satoshi's vision.

The word is getting out, the price and volume are rising. This might be a good time to investigate our community-centric commodity. The gold standard of digital currency.

I just hope Gold Coin can be added to the exchange bittrex or poloniex

Yes. If we can get more in the community to lobby these exchanges, our chances will increase.

~~

These exchanges are actually losing revenue by not adding GLD. Our volume has improved recently.

Let's get serious and achieve something that's never been done before in history.

We have the tools to complete the unfinished work of Satoshi. Let's make Goldcoin his masterpiece complete.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin has the highest number of full nodes? Which is most decentralized? on: February 29, 2016, 03:24:28 AM
Is there anyway to know?

Would definitely inform my decision of where I want to put my money long term.

That is our primary focus, to protect our blockchain from being co-opted or subverted and to remain decentralized.

In a nutshell, we intend to build GoldCoin into the ideal that Satoshi would have wanted. We're like Bitcoin Classic only with better devs and less drama.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do we know if the altcoin has a potencial to increase the value? on: February 28, 2016, 05:31:03 PM
Hi guys i need some advice because im new in trading i just want to know if how do we know if the altcoin has potencial to be growth oor the value will be increase weeks or sooner??

You need to first decide what is your objective - is it trading? investing? Trading is not based on fundamentals, while investing IS based on fundamentals.

My advice would be to lean towards value investing. Find altcoins that are worth more than the market recognizes. This can be done by examining community involvement, inflation rate, branding, and philosophical values. Why was the currency created? What are its principles and mission?

Ask yourself which coins are most likely to fall into favor with consumers and general public. The big payoff will come down the road, somewhere a few years out, when the people of the world awaken to digital currency. Position yourself now for that inevitable reality.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: for which purpose satoshi nakamoto developed bitcoin? on: February 28, 2016, 03:30:57 PM
I'm willing to bet that the direction it's currently heading in isn't what he was planning. Guess he should've stuck around a while longer.

Exactly. I feel bitcoin's founder failed to recognize the currency's vulnerability within its core operation. Like many of the world's governments, it has fallen under corporate control.

Many here are not longer concerned with what Satoshi had in mind. I read a bitcointalk staff member saying the other day that "Satoshi's vision is irrelevant."

Satoshi's vision is irrelevant.
909  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Litecoin in 20 years on: February 28, 2016, 03:38:36 AM
i'd say within 2 years BTC completely owned by corporate interests etc, LTC becomes the peoples currency (kinda like gold/silver did in days gone by).

I agree with this sentiment, only I think BTC (at least core) is already controlled by corporate interests. Cheesy
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins - which do you like? on: February 28, 2016, 01:44:40 AM
Sorry to hear about your 10btc.  There is still time to get some before price goes higher.

My favs are: litecoin, dogecoin, ethereum, and dash. I like the community behind dogecoin.

Dogecoin does have a great community but it seems to be losing a little steam. GoldCoin is probably the most undervalued altcoin on the market at this time. Growing community, open workforce, and increasingly scarce. Plus our developer is a Cisco Systems engineer. Smiley

What about signature and avatar? Do you have some plans for campaign?
Maybe this is future, supporters and promoters at the same time.

Currently, we don't have any plans for signature or avatar campaigns.

The Open Workforce was established to provide a living wage to cryptocurrency workers.

We have decided to double the pay of all Open Workforce workers beginning today!

You might have noticed that the POW criteria lately has been higher than before. Rather than lowering our standards, I think it is better to compensate deserving effort. Our very success hinges on our terrific workforce.

We are serious about making money great again and our people will be taken care of always.

We are going to take this currency to the top, it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. Always bet on Gold!

hard fork in about 20 blocks - hope you all have updated your wallets  Smiley

The development team is closely monitoring the network. I'm being told by the team that the client changes are working as expected.

Here are the major changes:

1. Maximum block size increased from 1MB to 2MB.
2. Minimum transaction fee reduced to .01 GLD
3. Block reward now 4 (generation rules rolled forward 20 years)

Thank you for choosing GoldCoin. We're going to make money great again in 2016!

Mike Hearn & the Washington Post cannot kill Bitcoin that easily. Soon enough, the same paper will be writing stories about Bitcoin's amazing comeback.  Smiley

This is a very good attitude and one that rings kind and true!
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best altcoin this year? on: February 21, 2016, 05:53:54 AM
Hi guys i just want to ask and hear some opinion from you, That what is the best altcoin the i can make profit in the future?
I found 1 ETH has a potencial to grow but now a days the price of eth is down..
Can you suggest other alternative that i can make lots o profit in this year...

The most profitable coins will become those that are out now of favor, priced as dead - yet have eager hard-working people organizing and building behind the scenes. Find coins that meet these conditions and your chances will be favorable.
