Oh right, my bad.

Keep in mind: You are arguing with libertarians who believe everything should be charged for. It's their religion, they think money to be the ultimate messiahs.
Might as well argue with a cow about toilets.

LoL  I am very close to libertarian ideas myself, you know.  Actually, I usually agree with most of what Myrkul write iirc.  But not on this, apparently.

Then you are not a libertarian. The boundaries around this ideology are quite strict.

I love how people like you love to throw Libertarians in the same lot as those in corporatism now who charge money for bottled water.

9085  Other / Politics & Society / Re: These are the people who we are entrusting the future of our nation to. on: November 06, 2012, 05:20:12 PM
I've been driving a for a few months now since I passed my driving test, what exactly is so difficult about waiting or going round the busy normally if the road is clear? I have to deal with buses all the time because I live in the UK, if you're late to something, then its your own damn fault and you shouldn't put people at risk because of your own stupidity.
9086  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I'm voting for Mitt Romney on: November 06, 2012, 08:22:32 AM
Mitt Romney like most politicians is a backstabbing and back talking cunt that reminds me of a lot of people in school I used to know, hard to believe people would vote for such a moron, they say nice things to your face but the moment they get what they want they'll screw you over and the two party system is full of those types.

Welcome to my world Smiley So bored I've actually decided I'm going to start using pencil and paper more to draw so I don't take forever to do one piece.
9088  Other / Off-topic / Re: 126 New Users registert today - is this much? on: November 05, 2012, 09:55:57 PM
It can happen, just be wary of bots Tongue I'm getting members signing up to my forum and I've seen a few spammers trying to sneak through, that said, I find lurkers to be the weirdest bunch of all.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

It doesn't matter how sophisticated a system is, if you have someone stupid enough to give their details to a scammer or just give their money voluntarily they are going to lose it.
9090  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wurm Online and CoinLab, making ingame money via mining on: November 05, 2012, 07:23:48 AM
Yes a GPU can do tons of things and i partecipate in several BOINC projects where my graphic card is used. But if they start paying me for crunching their work... then why can't they simply use that money in a MUCH MORE efficient way, like paying for a supercomputer or whatelse?

The idea is to get value from people who won't pay.

I'm getting rather fed up of seeing game developers who keep trying to ruin their games in order to make more money rather than be more creative which is all this is.

9092  Other / Off-topic / Re: What we've learnt today. on: November 05, 2012, 04:19:27 AM
I've been studying texturing for my art so I can make a much better finished piece, almost learned how to use OpenCart, how to work efficiently without nearly killing myself ( The secret is making sure you take regular breaks and make yourself eat food ), also watched a documentary on coffee and how it is made by CNBC which ranted about Starbucks' point of view far too often for my liking rather than about the actual making of coffee which is what I was more interested in. I also looked more carefully into how bitcoin and how to measure the value of goods, turns out things are still relatively up in the air at the moment because it is an emerging economy.
9093  Economy / Economics / Re: How the hell do you measure how much goods are worth in Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2012, 04:13:32 PM

9096  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the 'Bitcoin Experiment' changed your political or economic views at all? on: November 04, 2012, 09:41:31 AM
I think Bitcoin has pretty much vindicated my beliefs rather than changed them, I believe in the Austrian school of economics but I can see the value in a currency like Bitcoin, if we're going to have a fiat currency then it has to be one dictated by the people, that said, I still don't believe that anything can top precious metals because they've been used in currencies and trade for years. I think the true value in Bitcoin is that even if the main sites for it get shut down the governments who are against it won't be able to do anything to stop it much like bittorrent, it's just too easy to set everything up we just need one country to legalize it and then everyone who has bitcoins will move there.
9097  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another one for the "anarchists" on: November 04, 2012, 12:18:55 AM
I think part of the problem over the years is very simply we've been bombarded over the years with propaganda telling us that it isn't possible to live in a society without government and very little law? Think about it? What happens when film makers and news journalists ever think about this kind of thing? They always immediately come to the conclusion that it's going to end in an apocalypse scenario or everyone will kill each other, where's the evidence for this? Nowhere of course! It all depends on the people you hang out with. You also get people particularly when it comes to Ron Paul's opinions ranting about how if there were no taxes etc. then people would be left to die in the streets or there wouldn't be any roads and infrastructure.

As far as I'm concerned as long as we can go through life without killing each other or being physically violent towards one another we've done a fucking good job, anything else is just trivial really.
9098  Economy / Economics / Re: How the hell do you measure how much goods are worth in Bitcoin? on: November 03, 2012, 10:54:27 PM
I think that's what I'll go ahead and do Adam as I've said, not interested in ripping people off what I'll do is probably keep it at 0.5 BTC and see what happens, if people seem happy with that then I don't think I'll change it, pretty much the equivalent of the price I was planning in the normal currencies anyway according to Mtgox Cheesy

Now I've got that absolute headache out of the way I just need to focus on drawing my manga and trying to figure out all the Opencart options without throwing my computer out the window, I couldn't figure out the PhP thing for bitpay so I'll have to use the simpler option instead.
