921  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [DISKUSI] Saran Sub-Forum Indonesia (Rules Thread, OP, Post, dst) on: April 10, 2020, 01:27:57 PM

922  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Mengapa KYC Sangat Berbahaya dan Tidak Berguna (by 1miau) on: April 10, 2020, 07:58:15 AM
Membaca Thread ini jadi ingat saat dulu bounty alternative coin tiba2 banyak yang memberikan syarat untuk claim dari mereka harus melakukan KYC. Dan beberapa bulan kemudian pas saya lagi searching2 tentang bitcoin saya menemukan berita dan informasi penting tentang dark side of KYC on crypto .

923  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Dilema undang undang pelarangan bitcoin sebagai alat pembayaran on: April 10, 2020, 06:55:43 AM

924  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Reasons why I am buying Bitcoin!! on: September 30, 2019, 01:33:47 PM
you are smart. your choice to make bitcoin as investment is very good I myself consider bitcoin is a technology that will be very targeted in the future era. because the total supply is clear and limited and demand is certain to continue to increase the possibility of bitcoin value will always go up later will inevitably occur. all that is needed is patience and certainty before making an investment especially in bitcoin and realize this investment will require a long time with a lot of drama in it.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you are Satoshi Millionaire? on: September 30, 2019, 01:29:06 PM
Satoshi Millionaire is one, who has 1 million Satoshi, i.e. 0.01 BTC.

There was a time when new entrants wanted to reach goal of 21 BTC, i.e. one in a million. Then it became Satoshi Billionaire, i.e. 10 BTC. Then 21 million club, i.e. 1 BTC. Now, owning 1 BTC is difficult and being a Satoshi Millionaire is the new goal.

So we are talking about 0.01 is the new goal? interesting. so we assume like 0.01 this time will be like 1 btc in the future. it is very possible because I am among those who really believe in the miracle of bitcoin. that's why it's still saving weekly with bitcoin. because I believe the price of bitcoin can be more than now. proven from $ 100 to $ 10,000 sounds like crazy and that happend. so the possibility of that happening must also exist.
926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Adopt New coins ? on: September 30, 2019, 01:23:08 PM
Bitcoin is currently still in mining and the total supply is still quite large in proportion to the results of mining today. so for what new coins if the main is also not finished and is still expanding, maybe other innovations might be there like hardfork with new implementations and new features, and compete with bitcoin it's still possible. but for bitcoin itself I don't think thats gonna happend.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of Bitcoin growing Dominance on the Crypto space on: September 30, 2019, 01:17:01 PM
Bitcoin being the pioneer cryptocurrency has always had a big gulf between it and other cryptocurrencies in the market mostly in term of valuation. Although this is expected, the growing dominance BTC is having on the entire crypto market does not speak good for the crypto space...

Mostly all altcoins must be the benchmark price of bitcoin. obviously bitcoin will greatly affect the entire crypto market and other coins. and the dominance of bitcoin is certain because of these factors. but often everything has its time. when bitcoin starts at stable prices. altcoin often becomes the dominant in the market. along with bitcoin itself. it always like that.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are we really investing in bitcoin? on: September 30, 2019, 01:14:27 PM
Is the service and profitability, even if bitcoin is highly volatile, are the only two reasons why bitcoin is attractive to investors? Any good opinions or answers? Thanks

Bitcoin is a digital asset. which can be exchanged and real currency with an exchange rate that can change very drastically. and many people take that as an advantage. and not a few also even lose the value of their assets. those are the decisions of the asset holders themselves. and for now this digital asset has been considered as an investment asset that can be used at any time for payment alternative.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Supply is meeting demand. The number of Bitcoin ATMs worldwide is up over 500% on: September 30, 2019, 01:05:22 PM
If you're actually following stuff concerning bitcoin ATMs for a while already, do you mind answering a question I've had in mind for a while already? - What demographic of people are bitcoin ATM companies are mostly targeting? Is it the people who use ATMs for privacy purposes? Is it the people who don't know that exchanges like Coinbase exists whereas they could buy coins for cheaper? or is it for people who are new to bitcoin who are buying small amounts of bitcoin through ATMs just to test things out?

I think it's in the EU and America. and the exception of several Asian countries such as Korea and Japan. and its use is primarily to take cash and trade directly with flat currency or also to saving directly to address wallet with flat currency. bitcoin atm is basically to provide easy access anywhere. if you need cash directly through an ATM. if someone has funds in their wallet, I think this ATM is good. and has many functions.

930  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Bitcoin eth, ltc and others on: September 30, 2019, 01:01:00 PM
Do you think its a good idea to have paper Cryptocurrency in circlelation too?
Like we have fiat currency digitally we also can have Fiat Currrency as paper.

Cryptocurrency paper? if you mean paper wallet we already have it and many people already use it to store their wallet as their freeze wallet. but if what you mean is crypto based on paper coins with real goods I think it's quite strange and can be controversial. because it could be considered to rival the flat. except that it was made by the government. and for what ? whats the difference with flat ?
931  Economy / Economics / Re: K-POP Company owners are joining the train hype of Cryptocurrency on: September 30, 2019, 12:56:45 PM
SM Entertainment, one of the top entertainment company in Sout Korea is planning on making its own blockchain network.
Due to the shareholder revolt and a falling stock price of the company they wanted to create this, in order for the Artists and the company itself be able to directly interact with the fans and be more engaged in the entertainment ecosystem.
What are your thoughts? Do you think this will have a "major" impact?

every project is free to give the features they offer to make a plus point for their project. but I myself judge here for the ease of processing their finances I think is good and simple. but if the aim is to make it easier for other people to make transactions with them I don't think that's because. K-pop is mostly for teenager and there is no doubt that teenagers at this time are not many who understand and really understand what crypto is. but the features they offer themselves are a very good idea
932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading crypto independently considered a business? on: September 30, 2019, 12:48:23 PM
Is trading crypto on your own with no employees and no storefront categorized as a real business?
Where does trading online take on all of the aspects of being a legitimate and identifiable business?

For professional traders. trading can be the main source for their life I am talking about for trading on the stock market. but for trading on the crypto market. Hard to predict market charts and price movements are not always as expected and based on a certain news or reason. even with no reason at all price can moving up or down unpredicatable. for me consider trading in bitcoin just as alternative income.
933  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i failed in day trading on: September 30, 2019, 12:44:14 PM
i have learn technical analysis and practicing it for many months now i am good at it , but when it comes to day trading stocks move as market moves if markets go up stocks go up and if market falls stocks fall where does technical analysis , how to do day trading

my question is about stocks not crypto

trading in stocks market more to basic technical analysis which is considered by many professional traders to be able to read stock market movements accurately and tend to be precise. I have several friends who just follow the advice of some trading analysis that provides information and daily trading advice that must be done. if you are not sure of the technical analysis that you learned yourself why not listen directly to suggestions from various sources that are actively providing technical analysis in the stock market? I'm sure in every trading community group has someone who gives advice on what to do in the market.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to set recurring BTC buys, without a lot of fees? on: September 30, 2019, 12:21:23 PM
Coinbase lets you set recurring buys of BTC (daily, weekly, monthly.) but their fees are ridiculous.
Coinbase Pro has much lower fees, but no ability to do this.

I want to dollar cost average in. Is there a way to use Coinbase Pro API to set recurring buys?
Or is there a better solution? (Doesn’t have to be coinbase)

Can someone please give me some advice. Thanks.

Coinbase is a market service that offers to buying to saving bitcoin as simply as possible, but has a high fee that is considered by some people. and as an optional I think of the 2 best choices as an alternative to saving bitcoin regularly,

1. buying through trusted people. In this bitcointalk forum I see some trusted people who accept bitcoin exchanges with other currencies. the cons is fear of becoming a victim of fraud, so choose someone who is trusted.

2.You can see in the sub forum service. and exchange for that, and the second option is to buy directly through local exchange. You can deposit your money with a local bank or other options provided and buy directly according to the market price that should be.
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Akon talks about bitcoin and his own coin on: September 30, 2019, 12:17:26 PM
So.. if I found the right website, Akon is creating his own coin, Akoin. From their website[1]: "AKOIN IS THE EXCLUSIVE CURRENCY OF THE AKOIN ECOSYSTEM". Great, another unnecessary coin. I'm not saying that Akon is a bad person, but if he really wanted to help, pretty much every use-case indicated on their website can already be done using BTC and ETH. I'm guessing that some people just proposed this idea to Akon and asked for permission to use his name. Pretty much the same with Manny Pacquiao's PAC token.

[1] https://www.akoin.io/
Agreed, already there were more coins based on personalities. Some even created by them as they're good at programming. There needs to be some use case that is unique to get good value to the project and the coin. Here the coin might get popularity as it is named based on his name, but when it comes to use case and growth it won't attract good investors choose it.
what is so special that would make Akoins use case diffrent from any other coin? Sounds to my like a pump and dump scam. Just because a celebrities name is in it does not make the coin special. If anything anyone that has been in the crypto industry for more then 3 months know the Longer ROI is going to be somewhere in the -3 to 5000% range... Smh

To be honest the vision and mission of this Akoin is very good. if you read again on the website akoin.io it is on 'The Akoin Ecosystem unlocks the potential of the world's largest emerging economy through the creation of a trusted cryptocurrency with a vision to stimulate and innovate, revenue-generating opportunities that support and empower youth entrepreneurs, economic stability, and growth across Africa and the world.

he planned the crypto ecosystem in Africa. it's really good if it's really realized. Apart from the thought of investors who want to take advantage it's another matter. if the project is successful I think the price will also rise.
936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: September 30, 2019, 12:15:30 PM
Don't forget about technical strategy, before trading people should know any strategy that can help them in any condition of market. Because rely on luck and buy / sell coin is not enough because although you can get profit from it, but wouldn't know when you will face problem with trading like coin dumped very hard.

Depends on what coin we choose to use for trading. maybe in addition to the top 10 coins very possible price changes that are very far 'dumped' that is why before determining what coins you want to be the choice of coins for short trading, you need a little research about the news and also read a little market chart that is happening last week.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not trust New wallets with your fund on: September 30, 2019, 12:12:51 PM
The problem is not new or not. but whether the provider has a good track record or not. why did you choose a new wallet while the old one provided exceptional security? and anyway the most important is the private key of the wallet itself. as long as it can be accessed specifically it should be safe.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find scam coins on: September 30, 2019, 12:08:48 PM
Many identification and characteristics of scam coin. what concerns me when I see a new coin is. the purpose of the project. the developer team. and the progress that has been made is appropriate and real with what is happening. but it all returned to the vision and mission of the coin itself. if it is not clear and managed not seriously it will definitely end up being a garbage coin. and make investors think they are victims of failed projects and get feels like get scammed or think maybe it's really a scam coin.

939  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: September 30, 2019, 11:57:01 AM
The world economy keeps crashing with many incidence of inflation. What is happening at the moment is  a clear indication of a world that has failed the minority. Although the underdeveloped countries could partly be blamed for the high inflation that exists in their respective economies. Would things turn around for good  if underdeveloped countries start to add value to their natural resources themselves without selling to the countries with good economy?

One of the factors that is very likely to be a factor is that the country does not balance, the development of finance throughout the world, and creates their pressures for their economy, and also creates inflation for their county. but i believe every country have a plan to improve their state finances and economy whether to collaborate or investment with other countries or sell or lease their assets. many underdeveloped countries do that.
940  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: September 30, 2019, 11:49:21 AM
KYC does look very contrary to Bitcoin because Bitcoin is known as an anonymous system.
With the time that continues to run since KYC is widely implemented in the project.
.

Every company has the right to make KYC regulations. because the main goal is to prevent hackers from taking over user accounts. and also track their customers. from where they get the coin whether the results of fraud or other things. KYC was not important in the past but now the government is seriously investigating scam investment and hacked wallet cases. and as an exchange and service provider must make the KYC regulations in order to find out who the details of their service users. now only prospective customers who decide want to do KYC and provide sensitive information or not.
