921  Economy / Economics / Re: Distribution of bitcoin wealth by owner on: April 23, 2016, 10:20:15 AM
there may likely be several additional weaknesses in your methodology and flaws that may come to light, based on a true attempt to update with new information and a larger (and probably more sophisticated audience).

So far, the criticism towards the methodology has been incredibly low standard. I have yet to find even one critic who understands what I have done (which should not be too difficult, after all it is written as clearly as I can manage, in English, in this thread!  Cheesy )

This is a 100% mathematic, parametrized, generic, model for modelling naturally occurring distributions. It can be wrong if the phenomenon to be modelled is not a good fit for the model (see thread that it is), or it can be off if the parameters selected are off (they cannot be too much off because of the interrelations between them, the possible range of parameters is very very small actually, even if we could not have any knowledge of the total number of owners (the only real unknown in the whole model since both the marketcap and the number of coins are knowns).

So I am not too scared of the sophisticated audience shooting holes in the model, since the assumptions they must subscribe to before attempting to criticise my model are untenable. If they have a better idea of the values of the individual parameters, they may be right as well as I, since the truth about those values remains unprovable forever, and the system is dynamic as well.

Invitation to deduce the healthinesses of Wines

Under penalty of a DOLM (Knighthood of the Doplhin Medal), the following quest is announced:

Find out the healthinesses of the wines, in relation to the healthiness of BEER

The answer must be submitted by end-of-March 1637 to me.

There are 18 wines, the answer is a list of the item_id's, followed by a multiplier that tells how much is the healthiness of the product, relative to the healthiness of BEER, eg. "2" means that the product has a healthiness of twice that of BEER.

Grading is from 0-100% where 100% indicates an exactly correct answer and 50% indicates that the values were on average 50% off the correct.

Winner gets a DOLM. Superadmins and PJ are banned from participating.

To get started, take heed on the following:

- the effect_text is deterministic so you can easily figure out the thresholds
- consuming first time you get the variety bonus
- wines were just updated so do not rely on old info even if you have it

Health Challenge spex is available.

Wine (surprise!) will be gifted to the runner-ups! Smiley

First building that I know of, is successfully constructed in 2-E-I15. The building pays out 16.4 million per year for the 300 million upfront. Judging from these figures, there is a reason to believe that new building will be quite a nice return on investment Smiley

Building payout round is tomorrow, or latest Sunday. As soon as I make it, there will be a guide on how the different controls work as well, but it is possible to experiment and see the changes from the Building editor already!

New Feature: Billboard.

Log into the game, you can't miss it. It is also self-explanatory and fun, and because of it, there will be much less stuff in this thread in the future Smiley

Low volume means that random guys owning lots of coins that they are willing to sell in this price domain (anything less than a few thousand$ per BTC) is drying up. We've been here for so long, if anyone wished to sell, he had plenty of time to do so.

And for sure, the random guys are not a renewable. We had a lot of them, but tell me how many exist any more! Not so many.

I meant the price will rise from supply being dried up until some guy sitting on a bunch of coins thinks the market is overextended.  He will then sell in hopes of buying back cheaper, then the volume and volatility starts.  I didn't mean the guy wanted to dump for no reason.  Only a fool would want to sell and walk away right now.

We have had plenty of fools in the last years but the function of market is towards weeding them out. (A rare natural example of decreasing entropy in a system).

My overall philosophy on the signs of the rises:
(has to be taken in the context of investments with the parameters similar to cryptocoins)

Quick rise on high volume - GOOD - Brisk new demand and coins change hands

Quick rise on low volume - BAD - Most of the issue in few hands = overhang risk, liquidity risk, possible scam

Slow rise on high volume - BAD - If a high volume causes only slow rise, it is a toppish sign (unless just emerging from a bottom; then good)

Slow rise on low volume - GOOD - Supply drying up, possibility that the trading range will soon be contested leading to a massive revaluation

What already happened with BTC, volume collapsed and price is inching upwards in the weekly, is going to happen to XMR soon.

The only thing that can prevent it is new demand, which means that we will go up quickly on high volume, instead of slowly on low volume.

Both of the scenarios are healthy.

RAF-2 Schedule

already - 49,000 tickets given to the NPCC to sell
March 1637 (week from now) - 151,000 tickets given to the living PC/clans in proportion to their achievement
May 1637 - Spoil 90; reduction of # of tickets to ~20,000
July 1637 - Spoil 90; reduction of the # of tickets to ~2,000
Sept 1637 - Spoil ; reduction of the # of tickets to 200
Nov 1637 - Reduction of the # of tickets to 87 ; the spoiled tickets win a TOP or EME
Dec 1637 - Reduction of the # of tickets to 37 ; the spoiled tickets win a SAP or RUB
Jan 1638 - Reduction of the # of tickets to 14 ; the spoiled tickets win a TOPX, DIA1 or DIA2
March 1638 - The remaining 14 tickets win the most precious stones: EMEX,SAPX,RUBX,DIA5,10,20

This leaves enough time to design the coronets with the stones. More gems await in the Hall of Mirrors for those who take this first part of the challenge seriously! Smiley

Time of spoiling is near the end of month (near the end of day UTC).

Gems are created under item_type GEM. Current owners are just placeholders.

Market is open and currently a ticket with 0.1% chance of winning is at 7700/6125 (hinting at the average gem price of 6-7 mil, with the range from TOP (topaz) of probably in low 7-figures, up to the minimum guaranteed price of 250 mil for the DIA20).

NPCC ruling
The gems in this allocation are intended for the coronets and other jewelry of the PC. At the end of May 1638 (no earlier than 24 hours after the last raffle item of allocating the most precious stones to the remaining 14 tickets), all the NPCC will be swept of their stones.

This leaves the option of either disposing of the RAF-2 immediately, with the added benefit of having the money back quicker, or keeping them until the raffle, and selling the gems, but that must be done quickly after they are raffled to avoid sweep.

The NPCC are not allowed to have bids in RAF-2 nor in the gems, it is sell only.

I have the feeling that as the NPCC now command the supply monopoly as the majority of tickets does not even exist yet, it might not be a stupid idea to seek to sell whatever possible before the PC get their allocation. On the other hand, I have the feeling that gems will perhaps establish their place as   the most coveted of all the luxuries, before SFS, Ming China, or even silver. (Historically, also suits were once a major luxury, carriages perhaps never reached their full potential, horses are just now on the rise).

CKG is up 51% since April Fools' Day. There is a new FOC in town, who scooped up some gold. When the account had some m left after CKG and CON buys, I was thinking what would be the next simplest guaranteed investment with actual potential. Since anything involving management is out of question, J-Corp is now seeking to buy gems and tickets to them. Fwiw.

The earliest time any gems come to existence is Nov 1637 (63*TOP, 50*EME). Prospective buyers are exhorted to have bids in place to ensure that the NPCC sales happen fairly.

Similar to what I said earlier today:

random guy that owns lots of coins believes we have hit a price that is unsustainable pre-halving

929  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: April 22, 2016, 06:58:20 AM
The situation with Bitcoin/USD seems remarkably similar to the one in late September 2013. A quick and violent runup is a few months old, and the price is nearing the levels where it collapsed (in this time I am referring to the $500 top last year, not to the ATH).

Volume is down, yet price is eking upwards. This is a very bullish sign. It tells that the supply is exhausted and buyers are trying to not fall upon each other. It can turn explosive (see Oct-2013) literally any day from now with all the symptoms of FOMO appearing in a few weeks, the ones that have been absent for "so long".

By "explosive", I don't mean $600 in 4 weeks, I mean something like $multiplethousands in 2 months, and in a less explosive version the peak would be higher and time a little longer but still during 2016.

Study the TA! (JJG  Wink ) Whenever there are similarities in charts, be prepared. Bitcoin rallies exactly when the general belief for a rally to happen is the lowest. I remember fondly that in Feb-2015 in the self-nominated World Bitcoin Elite meeting (Satoshi Roundtable I) was almost unanimously short in BTC. As you can see by checking back, the meeting was the turnpoint in BTC price, hopefully the delegates did not get burnt too badly and the rise was from their covering of shorts, not their burning  Grin

Cheesy how many of the "bitcoin is a bubble" theme song (March-2013) featured stars are still active in the forums?

Lot trade opens with the new market UI

Navigate yourselves to Agora Marketplace -> Land. There you will see a listing of all the boroughs and by clicking them, all the lots in the borough with their essential statistics. This will allow sorting for instance by price per sqm, a nice feature indeed.

To quickly populate the Lots Ask/Bid market, during the following days starting from now, King will give item prizes to the highest bidder or the (lowest) ask of a random lot. Listing everything you can for sale, and especially placing the highest bid promptly, you have the best chance to help the liquidity of the game and earn your share of the prizes worth 100+ mil. Also legitimate lot trades are eligible to win prizes!

NewCorp will be listing 50 lots for sale soon, and is also considering to add the mortgage values (50% of estimated fair price) of all the lots in the game as bids, in partnership with the Bank.

Jubilee to the Dead Ancients

We are sorry for the ancients that have died and not chosen to start a new character due to the early stage of the game development which requires pioneering spirit and dedication.

The game is now better than ever, both technically, and in fun aspect, and number of players, and economically, so to celebrate the Coronation in 1640, the following proclamation is made:

We are moving to Clans, which subordinates a Player Character to a larger entity called Clan, which is the complete extent of the player's empire and economy. This will allow richer gameplay with less mandatory micromanagement (optional micromanagement is endless, for those who enjoy Wink ).

If you re-join the game with a new character now (it is possible in any age in the registration), and prove reasonably that you were the owner of a dead and withdrawn historical character, you will get the following:

- Your clan_id will be reset to the most ancient char_id you possessed
- Your level will be promoted to the highest level possessed by the ancestor
- The anciety of the clan will be counted from the patriarch.
- Nobles are eligible to be present at the Coronation, with lavish benefits (and quite a few requirements)

In return, I ask nothing. With the wish of course that the character would be loaded with the amount of wealth suiting its history and level and allowing the preferred playstyle.

Re-organization of the Royal Household

During the first years of my reign, the matters of the state were in disrepair for a short moment. Even though the end of our sagacious father's reign was reasonably well announced by him in every one of his last 25 years, it still was a shock to lose a father who had been the guiding star of the family and beyond, during all my life of nearly 200 years (in fact I am 200 years just now, but that is of no consequence to anything since reigning monarchs count their reign, and I am counting hours to the coronation in summer 1640).

The Royal Household is/will be a testbed for the new Clans core module. All possessions by the characters owned by me (late King, Zech, Ezekiel) will be swept to "1", which will be/remain as the account of the House of rpietila, the current royal house. Health permitting, I have no plans for abdication before the game has reached major success. This does not, however, mean that the crown is forever destined to be on the locks of the head of the house of rpietila. The coming game modules allow independent kingdoms, and Crypto Kingdom will be possible to be couped as well. Even a peaceful transition is not out of the question. (It is not for a joke that the peers need to make coronets, they are nice to have "just in case" Wink

Periodically I will evaluate if someone has more resources to reign than I do. Last time this was conducted was in 1608, the year I was appointed the heir to the throne, but others were considered as well. The King's role is full time, which rules out most candidates. Unlike the recent full-time admin appoint, which fell on an outsider, becoming King requires an extensive ingame track record. Furthermore, it is not a paid post, and the subjects have become so spoilt of our eminent father's lavish gifts that they no doubt expect the horn of plenty to continue pouring its blessings during the coming eras as well. To offset the costs, certain benefits are present of course.

Unlike our virtuous father, I do not have the faculty to convene with beings in the other domains. I paid a visit to Zenon, who can act as a mediator. He was in a physically good shape but sorrowfully delayed in his quest for the Medicine of Youth (SW4). Finances were the main grievance, since the project requires 10,000*SCI and the considerable amount of raw material for a larger batch than before. Zenon's economy was also merged in the Crown to boost the project.

RWWC is seeking Managing Director. The 3 factories can produce a number of things. Workforce needs to be managed (150*WP). Allocation of production, marketing, and listing of production. Scientific research (bigger cannons). Financial management, distribution of dividends. The post is very important. 10 mil annual salary.

The Town Hall has divested its plans to be a brewery. There is still the last possibility to consolidate the brewing business to it (by acquiring the 2 licenses from the crown that can be negotiated to end up with 3 total). This requires that we get a Managing Director whose salary is 5 mil, to operate the day-to-day brewing and Town Hall Corp investments.

The Bank will soon be able to open its services better. This requires some new features to the game such as enforceable mortgage, but these are not development-heavy, they are design-heavy, and I have now more time for designing than ever since the launch, thanks to the faithful minister Rakshasa. Bank will be able to offer the mortgage value to any lot, and tapping into it will be possible from the lot view, click-of-a-button. Loans will have annual payments. To handle the loan portfolio and spot and prosecute delinquencies, skilled human labor is needed and Bank is also looking for a CEO (10 million).

The listing view interface for land trade is under rehaul and will be launched today. It is possible to search land by borough, see the best bid and ask for each lot in a listing view, which also shows the essential stats of the lot directly without going to Lot details.

RAF-2 tickets are still finding their price - currently at 8,750/6,000. The average price by which the aggregate NPCC allocation gets sold, will be used as the basis of their allowance deduction so the selling is competitive and fun. Others - Put up your bids!

The haste in the drafting of messages has caused some errors, which are now corrected:

Amber and Jade may be cut in shape to be used as gemstones. At present the standard size of polished Amber plate is 100 g. The jeweler takes the small pieces as his commission, so 1*AMBNP yields 3*AMBP. Amber plates can be used eg in the rim of the coronet. 10 plates are enough. 1*JAD can be made Jade nuggets, 50 g each, so that 1*JAD yields 10*JADN. Do not spend all your unworked AMBNP/JAD on these entry level cuttings though.

AMBNP->5*AMBP ; JAD->20*JADN. Conversion is free of charge. See the properties of the items in the item details.

Quote
The rules regarding the proper appearance of a coronet are as follows:

The Coronet can be thought of having 16 points for stones (or pearls):

8 in the rim, so that the #1 stone faces due front, #2/#3 are next to it, etc, until #8 is directly backwards
8 in the elevated parts (fleurs de lis, strawberry leaves, etc), always on top (towards the ceiling Wink ) of the stones in the rims
Only the highest nobles have the elevated positions available for stones, midranking ones must use pearls
Pearls are not to be mounted on the rim, stones must be used, and the usage of non-royal gemstones (eg. JADN) is reserved for those only who cannot afford stones)
It is ok to have just one stone in the point of honor, or even none at all.
The coronet must be symmetric along the plane that is perpendicular to the line between the wearer's ears.

Coronet design tool will be provided latest when the gems appear.

The NPCC will be given their RAF-2 tickets today, so it is already possible to corner the chances to get the gems. First round of raffle is March-May 1637.

K10 item
- 6-horse that is very elaborate, pick color, amount of gold and silver  = 140 mil

K9 item
- 4-horse that is very elaborate, pick color, amount of gold and silver  = 50 mil
- 6-horse that is very elaborate, pick color, amount of gold and silver  = 70 mil

The K9 6-horse model is most elaborate of course, yet its price is still raised to 80 mil as well as the 4-horse model described to 60 mil. The K10 flagship is 160 mil. (Note during Noms' tenure, they cost over 200 mil each).

1* 20 ct Imperial Diamond

If it should happen that our majesty does not win the Imperial Diamond in the raffle, we make the reserve bid of 350,000,000 m for it, expiring end-1638 (allowing the mounting of it in some important piece of regalia before the coronation). We take no grudge if the owner wishes to keep it rather, believing that we can nevertheless make our robes majestic enough using other means in our possession.

It is not that we value the Imperial Diamond any less than as of this writing (it is the largest diamond in existence after this round; larger ones may come later in the game). But popular voice warned that boosting the price of a new item group, in this case gemstones, to a very high value in the day of introduction, only causes the valuation to drop in the future, and it is not fun. To preserve the fun, we slash our bid to 250,000,000 m.

RWWC is recommissioning the Carriage Factory - Order Yours

After the merger of RWWC and Phaeton Carriage Works Corp., the united RWWC (now pronounced "weapons" instead of "windows")) alone possesses the knowhow and the monopoly on carriages.

Since HM The King has decided in favor of having a sumptuous coronation event unlike anything celebrated so far in the town or the Kingdom, we will open the Carriage factory for orders.

All carriages are handmade and unique, no two alike exist. Well, so far. We will now offer Fungible carriages for the first time!

The unique carriages are all dated 1637 and can be had in the following item levels and price points:

K8 item = 24 mil
- 2-horse that is very elaborate, pick color, amount of gold and silver (gold, silver no additional cost except material)
- 4-horse that is most elaborate, pick color

K7 item = 11 mil
- 2-horse that is most elaborate, pick color
- 4-horse that is elaborate, pick color (from wood, green, yellow, orange)
(all K10...K7 items are unique)

K6 item = 6 mil
- 2-horse carriage with wood chassis that is painted yellow, a non-traditional color that we are experimenting with (elaborate, fungible)

K5 item = 3 mil
- 2-horse non-elaborate wood-colored (fungible)

For everyone who orders a K9 item, we throw in the K5 as a bonus. For the buyer of our exquisite K10 carriage, both K5 and K6 will be added to sweeten the deal.

Earlier it was recommended that 2-horse carriages need 2*H3+, 4-horse models need 4*H5+ and 6-horse models require 6*H6 level horses. Yeah, to get the most steady gait, that is still the recommendation, but in every instance except the coronation (or possibly even that), it is now established that H3's are adequate for all carriages as far as transportation is concerned. Having the finest horses is a matter of inner contentment, and a qualifier to get more RAF-2 tickets, but not a mandatory requirement for carriage any more.

Please inform me about your orders or preferably cause them to be written in /CARRIAGE1 in the game DB. Billing is automatic.

rpietila II Coronation Raffle

See previous post for the context.

151,000*RAF-2 tickets will be awarded to living PC in proportion to their achievements in several important areas that do not pay regular dividends. Most important of these are this time Wisdom and Horses+Carriages, with several others also contributing. The evaluation will be done in about 1 year from now and exact time announced beforehand. In addition, 49,000*RAF-2 is allocated to the NPCC's who need to get rid of them competitively (sell either the tickets or the prizes before the term expires).

200 gemstones are the prizes so the chance of winning one is 1:1,000. In addition, the players may donate other prizes as happened in the RAF-1 as well.

1* 20 ct Imperial Diamond
1* 10 ct Diamond
3* 5 ct Diamond
5* 2 ct Diamond
8* 1 ct Diamond

2* Large Ruby
20* Ruby

3* Large Sapphire
30* Sapphire

4* Large Emerald
50* Emerald

10* Large Topaz
63* Topaz

The "large" means that the stone is larger than any of the diamonds and considerably larger than the same type without attribute "large". Large stones are good for coronet/sceptre main stones or magnificent rings, small stones for any purpose. ("Midsize" will possibly be added later, now the fungibility is retained by having a bit less categories.) The 2nd batch of stones, given as presents to the Coronation guests, is 180 stones. There are currently no plans to use the remaining maximum quota of about 210 stones. The benefits from allocating the rest of the quota will be enjoyed by the Town.

The tickets will have a preset spoil schedule and the total length of the raffle is about 1 year (all prizes awarded beginning of -38).

The Coronation of HM rpietila II of Crypto Kingdom

It pleases Us to announce that the situations in the Realm enable the announcement of Coronation. This Coronation is the first of its kind, since the event when King rpietila I received his royal regalia in 1530 was not officially titled coronation (it was the Inauguration of the Hall of Magnificence). It was not deemed needed to announce a coronation then, since the late King had reigned for 130 years already.

Year: 1640
Venue: The Hall of Mirrors, Palace of Versailles, 7-C

Invited: All the Heads of the Noble Houses in the peerages of Crypto Kingdom and the counties claimed, all the Barons, Baronets and Knights in the peerage of Crypto Kingdom (heads of clans only), foreign dignitaries near and far, small quota for distinguished commoners.

New feature: Gemstones

New item type: Gemstones will incorporate the shiny stones that will be able to be used alone or mounted in magnificent jewelry. They will come in different types and sizes, and are fungible before mounting. The jewelry may be broken into its constituent items at no cost nor risk of loss.

Royal Gemstones (diamond, ruby, sapphire, emerald, topaz) have a quantity limitation that is irrevocable. The maximum quantity of all these stones and in all their sizes combined is:
80 per each Clan (whose head is) ranking Grand Duke or higher
40 per each Clan ranking Prince or higher
20 per each Clan ranking Marquess
10 per each Clan ranking Earl
2 per each Clan in levels L6-L13
(will be amended only if the levels system changes)

At present this translates to a maximum quota of 592 stones in total. The ownership by a clan is not limited by anything, the levels above are only used in assigning the total number that may exist. The stones come readily cut in shape.

Other gemstones are: Jade (per 1kg), Amber (per 1kg) and Pearl.

Pearls are fungible and large enough to be used in coronets, as well as rings or other things.

Coronet

(See Wikipedia for inspiration.) A coronet is a crown worn by a non-sovereign noble. It is typically worn only once, in a Monarch's coronation - an event that has never before happened in CK, but in the future will happen more regularly, perhaps once every 30 years on average. It is possible to appeal to the King for the right to wear it in another occasion. Also purple suits have limitations for their order and wear: purple suits can only be ordered by the King, and the owners of purple suits may wear them with a case-by-case permission, or without special permission if they are invited to an event hosted by the King.

The rules regarding the proper appearance of a coronet are as follows:

- A coronet must be indicating the rank of the wearer, but this will happen automatically following the heraldic conventions.
- The rim of the coronet is to be made of gold or silver, and as we remember, gilding of silver is generally outlawed. In case of a coronet, gilded bronze is outlawed as well. Having 2 separate metals is allowed if they are clearly separated, no foil.
- If made of gold, a coronet may weigh maximum 999 CKG, which is our kind guidance since our Crown will weigh 1,000 CKG. In remembrance to the late King whose crown was 500 CKG gold, it is advisable that only Princes and Dukes exceed this weight in their coronets.
- Minimum weight for a solid gold rim coronet is about 200 CKG since gold is soft. In silver, only about 40% of the metal is needed to get the same structural integrity.
- Gold is a preferable material than the cheap silver.
- The most fashionable material for the top is Siberian Flying Squirrel pelt (SFS) of which 10 are needed to make the best appearance. Other materials are available against the IC cost of 10-50 IC
- Use of gemstones in coronets is restricted by the common sense, expressed in the following guidelines:
* Only Peers (Earl+) may wear rubies and diamonds, and the more, the higher they are.
* It is bad taste for peers to have jade or amber, which are for lesser nobles and them only if the finances so dictate
* Up to the level of Marquess, it is fine to use pearls since they are decent and cheap
* Diamonds and pearls do not fit together, emeralds and rubies fit together nicely
* With silver, out of the colored stones, only sapphires give a decent impression
* If a large stone is used, it should be only one of a kind and the same type should not be used in other size

How to get gemstones

Royal Gemstones have a strict quantity limitation. They will be created in 2 larger batches, as follows:

1st batch, in 168 hours ("existing stock")

All clans (characters known to be owned by one person) will be evaluated for their prominence. The formula gives great weight to player attributes, features and items that do not receive their reward in the usual course of the game, rather in this kind of special occasions:
- Wisdom
- Number and quality of horses and carriages
- Ownership of a number of suits, especially unique suits
- SCI and CUL points in possession
- CKS in possession
- Ming China etc similar things

Little if any weight is given to:
- CKG, CON, lots, buildings, current or historical level, counties

Every clan will receive the number of raffle tickets (RAF-2) equal to the evaluation. The allocation of stones happens in about a similar way as in RAF-1 in a multi-round spoiling raffle. There is only one Imperial Diamond.

2nd batch, upon the Coronation ("Gift from HM The King of France")

The stones will be allocated according to His Majesty's pleasure to the guests. "Let the goodness roll!"

The total limit will not be completely used up, in the future gemstones will be coveted prizes eg in Dragonslachts. About 30% of the quota will be unused for now, and it is not intended ever to be reached (to allow for new creation when needed).

AMBNP is being created still from the counties, the total is expected to reach 5,000 kg (1,000 to go). The total quantity of JAD in existence is created already.

Pearls can be converted from IC: 3 IC -> 1*PEA

How to prepare and behave in the Coronation

All Peers are required to wear a proper coronet and a blue or purple suit. Purple suit may be appealed and will be granted if the tailor capacity allows. We will ask the guests to foot the bill for the suit (knowing our illustrious father never allowed anyone except himself to pay for a purple suit - of which  several are still in existence - our intention is not to follow suit). Peers are further required to have a fitting carriage for the procession, and Princes and higher get a special privilege to bring 2 carriages (provided they look nice).

Lesser nobles are required to wear a coronet, which should be of a more modest style than those of the peers. Also a blue suit and 2 people may share a carriage.

Hats are unique personal items (20-50 IC) that may be created for the occasion but it is allowed to wear the coronet instead during whole of the festivities.

Boots are not implemented as a mandatory item but if you wanted to have a pair, now is a good opportunity to create one. Same applies to cloaks etc. The Blue suit is usually thought of containing all the needed items. SFS-items are not needed since it is midsummer.

If suits contain metals, they count towards the jewelry. Rings, especially with gemstones, are much suitable not only for this, but further occasions as well. They can be created using the ordinary "The New Permanent IC Conversion Table" as it stands and mounting a gem to a new ring does not entail extra cost above what the creation of the ring would do.

Orders of knighthoods (AOK-chain, bracelet, baton) are to be worn as well as all medals.

Our pleasure in allocating the 2nd batch of gemstones is heavily upon the guests who prepare for the event with all their heart.

If commoners are admitted, they are to dress in festive orange only, with all the jewels and other goods they can carry, max 2 per carriage, and are required to wear a hat or a "commoner coronet" which must not be made of gold nor silver but may contain gemstones.

Oath of Allegiance

All nobles who wish to swear allegiance to the House of rpietila, may do so in their own words. Literature contains examples. As for the peers, who have fiefs from our House, it is quite expedient if they realise the necessity, even though our judicious father did not deem it a priority.

Coronation present wishlist

Our Royal Majesty has everything, but due to the constraints of time and artistic talent (the latter of which our esteemed father had, the former even less) the treasuries of the Royal House are void of valuables. Jewelry and pieces of Art are most appreciated.

Sign and seal.

Yes, it's very cool to finally get it done. Possibility to build anew will be enabled today or tomorrow. All the 11 pools are (re-)initialised to be ready to divide the dividends. In total, we have 16,000,000,000 m in the pools which is quite a nice addition to the annual payouts.

The pools that are readily selectable for every stone building are:

CUL pools
- Culture
- Residence
- Villa

SCI pools
- Science
- Headquarters

M pools

- Office
- Commercial
- Apartment

While it is possible to allocate any stone building to any of these uses, the pools have a internal formulas that give pool shares according to the suitability of the building for the specific use. Villa, for instance, does not derive much benefit for a busy location, and gets much benefit for large gardens, which Headquarters is exactly the opposite. The CUL/SCI pools give fixed payout per share, so it is always possible to get them. The M pools give 15% of the size of the pool each year, divided to the number of shares in the pool, so the M amount fluctuates. These ensure that the buildings module are a self-correcting entity: it does not cost anything at present to reallocate the building, so the most nimble players will check them out annually that they produce the best payouts. The ones with less time to tinker with their buildings will benefit from the adjustments of the nimble ones and their buildings also produce decently because of the self-correcting mechanism. It is likely that a number of buildings will remain the backbone of each pool due to their suitability, and there is also a number of buildings that flip to the most profitable pool, equalising their rewards.

There are also pools that are not selectable:
- Wood
- Factory
- Shopfront.

Wood will be implemented soon; it is the pool for commoners to live cheaply and build parts of their dwelling every year. When they get promoted to L6...L10, they will need to get rid of it and live in stone as the established citizens do. Wood building module incorporates things such as PIGs, which will cease to be items.

Factory requires a certain type of building and apparently produces nothing (in reality counts as a Factory in manually-administered subgames). Even if it were possible, do not switch to/from Factory.

Shopfront is a special pool that acts as a bonus pool for buildings that in addition to their main usage, have the lowest floor dedicated to commerce. If the location is good enough, this provides a nice bonus chunk of money from the Shopfront pool, and makes the building cashflow positive even if the main usage were CUL/SCI. The Shopfront pool is not selectable because it needs to be decided when the building is constructed. New buildings have the option of Shopfront.

When Buildings start their payouts, I have decided that the deferred dividends and taxes are not to be paid. Paying them in the beginning would profit only the wolves that adjust their payouts hourly (and not their rightful recipients - the historical building stock belonging to the ancient magnates: Crown, me, Soul, OZ and Roopatra, together owning 50% of the town). Also the repair and lux depreciation is not affected to them. Rather, we start with the regular 15% so that old and new buildings are in the same footing.

Only the extra taxes need to be paid and will be charged, as they are based on time passing and not of dividend. If you have extra taxed lots and want to get rid of them before the negative windfall, sell them or gift them to town. The charging of extra taxes will not happen in 48 hours, and will be announced as it has happened.

Lot trading is enabled.
