921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price motivation benchmark: on: May 25, 2023, 10:33:33 AM

Bitcoin has a cycle to help calculate its movement unlike those altcoins that have high centralization, subject to pump.

Do you say that you could predict the price movement of Bitcoin? Congratulations, you must have become a millionaire by now. Grin
I wonder why many Bitcoin investors cannot predict the movement of this so called "cycle", which determines the Bitcoin price? Grin
How does the centralization of a coin affect it's demand? Even centralized coins can have high demand and increasing prices.
I'm not talking about the pump & dump shitcoins(or memecoins), where the price is artificially pumped.
The level of desentralisation has little to do with the market forces of supply and demand.

I don't know if there's any legal or ethical grounds I can pursue here, but if anyone knows please let me know.

AFAIK, every website with an affiliate program has Terms of Service, where it is clearly stated that the website owners can change the rules of the affiliate program(including commission rates) anytime they want. Joining the Affiliate program means that you accept those Terms of Service. Good luck going to court with any claims. Grin I don't know about any affiliate program in the world, that would agree to discuss any changes of the commission rates with their affiliates. If you don't like the new commission rates, just stop promoting BCGame and try to find a casino with a more lucrative affiliate program.
923  Economy / Economics / Re: US Debt Default: Good or bad for crypto? on: May 24, 2023, 10:47:48 AM
There are talks among US politicians and economists about the country defaulting on its national debt. Congress usually approves raising the debt ceiling, so I don't see what's the issue here. But if somehow the US defaults, how would the crypto market react? Positively or negatively? The USD is the reserve currency of the world, so it's likely everything (stocks, crypto, etc) will crash alongside it.

What do you think? Is a US default good or bad for crypto in the short term? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

The US default would probably have a short term positive impact over crypto, because of the panic in the fiat financial markets many investors might turn towards crypto as an alternative. On the other hand, a US default might cause a new Great Depression worldwide and I'm not sure how the cryptocurrency markets would react to a big recession or depression. The prices of all financial assets might start going down.
The US dollar was the number 1 global reserve currency 20-30 years ago. Nowadays, the usage of US dollars as a reserve currency will drop more and more, which is something normal. The BRICS countries have grown a lot over the last 20 years and they will create their own reserve currency.

Gambling should be your choice, you shouldn't let anyone compel or persuade you into it.

Saying that gambling is a choice sounds like a BS excuse to me. Doing drugs is also "a choice". Becoming an alcoholic is "a choice" as well.
Ruining your life is a choice. Sometimes the people lose control over their behavior and their choice suddenly becomes an addiction.
Being addicted is not a choice, it's an illness that has to be cured. The life story you are describing seems like a scam to me.
Letting someone else manipulate and scam you is your choice, but that doesn't mean that it's your fault only. The scammer is also guilty of manipulating and scamming innocent people.

Another big problem is that everything in crypto spaces becomes centralized. Recently I tried to sell my crypto without KYC and I didn't find any good platforms to do it! Just think about it...nowadays you need to pass KYC to sell crypto without high fees. That's crazy.

Almost all platforms and even some wallets require your ID which is the opposite of anonymity. And because of that there are fewer and fewer platforms that offer you services without KYC and therefore because there are not many of them here they hike up their fees to the sky.

KYC is imposed by the governments and the crypto companies must abide by the law, otherwise they will have to shut down.
I can't agree that crypto is "becoming" centralized. Crypto exchanges exist for one decade and they always have been centralized, but more and more people are moving their funds from centralized exchanges to cold wallets. This means that crypto is actually becoming more decentralized.
I agree that Bitcoin is more of an asset rather than a currency, but I guess that Satoshi failed to predict that the scarce nature of BTC will turn it into an asset and make it less useful as a currency. However, this doesn't make Bitcoin less useful as a store of value.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just.bet | The Web3 Casino You Deserve - Bet directly through your web3 wallet on: May 23, 2023, 10:09:19 AM
I'm really suspicious when it comes to Web3 or different "connect your crypto wallet" type of websites and services.
Do you know that crypto drainers exist? When an innocent crypto user agrees to a sketchy smart contract and connects his wallet to a website or service, all the crypto in his wallet gets drained. I've seen this shit happening to Exodus and Metamask users.
I hope that this is going to be a legit crypto casino and not another crypto scam.
Is this your announcement thread? Just the logo of your online casino? Grin
By the way, I like the name and the domain of your casino. Just.bet looks simple, easy to remember and catchy. Many new casinos have weird and hard to remember names, which is bad for marketing.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: increased Youtube Gambling ads? on: May 23, 2023, 06:07:32 AM
I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads). I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.

I have never seen a Youtube Ad about gambling. Grin By "gambling" I mean actual online casinos. I've seen sports betting ads in the past(maybe it was last year). Nowadays, I mostly see gaming ads promoting some sketchy apps on Google Play. No gambling ads whatsoever. What kind of settings do you have in your Youtube/Google account? I want to allow gambling ads on Youtube. That would be fun to watch and analyze(from a marketing perspective). I want to see how the online casino are promoting their business and how they attract customers.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't central bankers just buy all the bitcoin and miners? on: May 23, 2023, 05:32:38 AM
Can't central bankers just buy all the bitcoin and miners? so what is the point again? to prolong are $lavery?

At what price? Will the HODLers sell their BTC at the current price? Probably not. What if the HODLers refuse to sell at a price that is lower than 100K USD or more? Does it make sense for the central bankers to buy all Bitcoin/crypto at ridiculously high prices? Nope...
Buying all the miners won't change anything. New mining hardware is being produced and sold every year. New crypto miners will appear.
And by the way, the central bankers in any country in the world aren't allowed by the law to buy asset different than gold, treasury bonds and stable fiat currencies. Buying cryptocurrencies and mining hardware will never be added to the list. Grin
929  Economy / Economics / Re: Will inflation in the world grow by 2023? on: May 22, 2023, 10:20:29 AM
Reading the morning summaries of the newspaper, I came across an article that, according to forecasts, inflation will not remain within the limits of the predicted non-percentages, but will increase and grow, thereby creating economic instability in the world. Do you think it is worth relying on the opinion of economic experts? There have not been any official statements from banks by country yet, but the dynamics show that inflation is growing along with the annual rate of banks. But now it is quite high in all countries, respectively, the rise in price and instability in the markets should be expected or a slight increase in inflation is possible, which will not affect the economy of the world?

The global inflation in 2023 is definitely going to be lower than the 2022 inflation(unless World War III begins). I cannot predict exact percentages. Do you really want someone to try and predict the future of the global economy for you? Not going to happen. Grin
Some countries are going to have lower inflation than others, but the overall situation is going to be better(until the recession kicks in).
The markets are unstable by nature. Low price volatility doesn't mean stability. I don't rely on the opinions of economic experts, because I have a degree in macroeconomics and I'm not that dumb. Grin
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Casinos Should Do Survey From Time To Time To Assess You. on: May 22, 2023, 06:23:40 AM
Quote
In light of two cases about casinos being charged for not stopping one player from playing past his betting threshold and from one demanding one casino to return his losses because of VPN issues.

Do you think casinos should implement a survey assessment from time to time to assess gamblers if they are comfortable spending more and if they are using VPN all the time even if they allow the use of VPN.

I don't think that implementing surveys and asking the gamblers about their issues would change anything.
It's all about the casino creating clear and simple Terms of Service and keeping it's promises. If the casino has a betting threshold, then it should warn the gamblers on time, when they get past that betting threshold(or block their accounts). If the casino allows VPNs, if should be stated in the Terms of Service, that the casino should not be held accountable if the gambler has problems with his VPN provider.
Having clear and simple rules will help for preventing potential lawsuits in the future.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can personality trait or ones DNA sequence determine ones success in Bitcoin? on: May 22, 2023, 05:44:49 AM
Quote
My question is this, does personality trait or gene sequence or any inherited disorder contribute to determine whether one can become financially successful with Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general?

Does one being an introvert or extrovert or being a student of arts or student of science determine if one can be successful with Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency endeavour ?

Extroverts can be successful at creating and growing crypto companies(because they are energetic and have great social skills), while the introverts can be successful at cryptocurrency trading(because they are patient and are good analysts). I'm just joking. I don't know what determines the financial success of any individual in the world. If you ask me, success is all about hard work and learning from your mistakes.
If doesn't matter if you are an introvert or extrovert. Genetic inheritance plays an important role in life. Tall men with good looks(good genetics) tend to be more successful in life in comparison to the short and ugly men. Grin
932  Economy / Economics / Re: Not all banks are going bust. on: May 21, 2023, 10:16:43 AM
Some banks are managed quite well, while other banks are managed in a corrupt and incompetent way. We can't put all banks in one category.
Repeating "banks are bad, crypto is good" is one of the few things that annoys me about Bitcoin/crypto maximalism. The commercial banks aren't all bad, the central banks with their money printing machines are the ones, who are ruining the financial sector.
Saying that banks are bad, only because they are centralized is also a bit delusional. The crypto exchanges are also centralized. There are multiple examples of centralized entities being successful.
933  Economy / Gambling / Re: NFTonSPIN.com - Leading Crypto Casino With Get Full Refund If Not Satisfied on: May 21, 2023, 06:26:20 AM
BTC NFTonSPIN.com is the first and only casino to have a refund policy, if player is not satisfied.
This is a bold option which is not provided by any where online in crypto or non crypto gambling.

NFTonSPIN.com also provides upto 900% CashBack on any deposit.
As well as provides 10 FreeSpins everyday if player reaches VIP status.

Visit: https://nftonspin.com

1.Make a good announcement thread.
2.A casino with a refund policy? You have invented the best thing since bread. I'm sure that all the gamblers in the world will join your casino and start betting(and asking for refunds when they lose).  Grin What do you mean by "if player is not satisfied"? What makes a gambler unsatisfied? Losing money or the slots games having bad design? Grin
3.The NFT trend is almost dead. Why do you have to bother with NFTs?
4.Perhaps you could change the name of your casino and website to something catchy. nftonspin sounds weird to me.
Anyway, good luck with this project, OP.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin or cryptocurrency offer loan service? on: May 21, 2023, 05:54:47 AM
I remember that there were Bitcoin P2P lending platforms 5-6 years ago, but most of them went bankrupt or exit scammed.
It's hard to use crypto for loans, because of the price volatility and the high risk. Getting BTC loans by using altcoins as collateral seems kinda pointless to me. The altcoin prices might collapse faster than the BTC price, so the lender has to liquidate the loan and the sell the collateral fast. This makes the whole process more like crypto trading, rather than borrowing. Also the interest rates for crypto loans seem to be higher than the fiat loans. I wouldn't bother with crypto loans, if you ask me.

935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the debt ceiling debate and regulatory uncertainty impacting Bitcoin? on: May 19, 2023, 10:41:35 AM
The US debt ceiling debate has almost nothing to do with the current Bitcoin price. The BTC price dropped a little bit, which is normal for a volatile asset. We are witnessing high transaction fees on the BTC blockchain, caused by the ordinals protocol and this might have a small negative impact over the price. The crypto winter isn't over and I don't know why some newbies are still disappointed every time the BTC price drops by a thousand dollars. This is pretty much expected. The BTC bull wave won't come in 2023 for sure. I expect 2025 to be the most bullish year for Bitcoin.
936  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US default a reality? on: May 18, 2023, 10:06:21 AM
Now all the news is writing about a possible default, is it real in the modern world, or is it information propaganda? How do you feel about this situation and what will happen for the rest of the world, you should be afraid of inflation or subsidence of the entire market. how to act in this situation and not lose money? It is worth now to run to withdraw money from the account or change it to the currency of other states. What kind of alignment awaits and what to analyze in general. Perhaps the extreme situation is a technical default, which does not pose a particular threat, but you need to prepare for non-standard options for the development of events.

The possibility of a US default is real only for the Russian and Chinese propaganda. Grin
I'm sure that the Republicans will agree for increasing the debt ceiling, in exchange of something else(I don't know what).
By the way, I watched some banker from JP Morgan being interviewed on CNN and he said that there shouldn't be a debt ceiling at all.
I guess that a part of the US bankers want the USA to have unlimited debt, without any ceilings. Grin I wonder what will happen to the US dollar, when such thing happens.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether to buy Bitcoin based on monthly net profits on: May 18, 2023, 05:42:32 AM
Tether might decide to increase the BTC in their portfolio from 2% up to 4% or 5%. So what? This isn't such a big deal.
I don't know why we should be paying attention to such insignificant news. As if Tether would want buy more Bitcoins and boost the BTC in their portfolio up to 20% or 50%(which will make them a volatile coin, instead of a stablecoin).
I'm not familiar with Tether's financial results, but I don't think that their monthly net profits are that big.

We all know that Tether only makes promises, so increasing their investment in Bitcoin only means that they plan to obtain more loans to misuse the money, as covering 85% of its total reserves is cash and US Treasury bonds is a claim that has not been validated, and thus the increase in the possession of Bitcoin Their hand will not solve the problem or enhance trust or transparency.

The increase in these crazy ideas means that we will see an explosion like Luna V2 soon.

We all know that Tether uses the "fractional reserve" principle, but we can't prove this with valid evidence.
On the other hand, I don't think that Tether would "obtain more loans" in order to buy more Bitcoin/crypto. This is extremely risky and it will basically destroy their business model. Tether's entire concept and business model is based on safety and security, not on taking higher risks.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 18, 2023, 05:05:08 AM
Not a single player from Manchester City had a weak performance. All of them played really well.
Real Madrid players where on the opposite side. Benzema was pretty isolated and blocked by Man City defenders. Rodrigo was horrible and Vinicius Jr. also had a bad day. Kroos and Modric were outclassed by the midfielders of Manchester City. Real Madrid's wing backs didn't provide enough support for Vinicius and Rodrigo in attack, mostly because they were under pressure during the entire game. Great game by Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish. Solid performance by KDB as usual. All Man City players were outstanding.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we headed to a nowhere economic direction ? on: May 17, 2023, 10:32:20 AM
Is it possible that the interest rates are declining and the real estate sector is collapsing at the same time?
I don't believe that having affordable mortgages would have any negative impact over the real estate sector.
The fiscal and monetary policies of many governments around the world tend to be less and less effective. Financial discretion done by the government seems more like a mistake nowadays. The right thing to do is to cut more government spending and put the national budget deficit under control.
I don't know where do you live. The situation is my country is difficult as well, but the real estate sector is still in good shape and the inflation levels are slowly declining.

940  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: May 17, 2023, 06:12:32 AM
Is it safe or dumb to use your Credit card for online gambling because of free bonus rewards on signup and initial 3 months purchase? Will you take such risks with your card for such rewards? A friend informed me that some casinos gives better reward if you have a credit card with high credit score at around 800, he mentioned how he make 200$ from Freedom Flex after using over 600$. He also mentioned other like capital one

What are the disadvantages of using a credit card on online casinos? Any? Would you dare do such to earn more money?

I don't think that using a credit card is more dangerous than any other payment method(in terms of online security). The problem is that using a credit card might get you into debt, which is something you don't want. In general, credit cards are more convenient than crypto, because you just link the card to your account and you don't have to manually replenish the funds in it.
I would never use a credit card for gambling purposes, but that's just me. I gamble with small amounts and I tend to avoid taking big risks.
I don't care that much about bigger bonuses/rewards, because I know that the casino will try the best it can to take your money, rather than give you any money. This is just marketing. Don't expect to make any profits out of casino bonuses.
