921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your strategy in taking profit on: September 26, 2020, 11:16:36 PM
Taking profit will differ with individual traders; base on period (long term and short term), coin type etc. I dont consider it to early to know the strategy to stay beyond the bull market and rather thrive through the bear.

1. What coin are you taking your profit?
 2. If stable coin, When do you plan to shift to it?
 3. What is the strategy to pay tax?
 4. Will your Lambo come before the parabolic market if your acquire certain profit?
 5. If the cycle in the space is really 4-5 years, what is the plan to cater for the long period of bear market?

Those questions is too hard to answer for now mate, because earning good profit on certain coin couldn't be achieved while market wasn't able to regain it's momentum. I can expect expensive things like that lambo or even luxurious gadgets while we're in the midst of pandemic year. Bear market really had affected me and the rest of my family, that's why I consider the coins I am holding as my potential profit once highest bounce will commence. Maybe I'll keep it discreet when choosing a coin that has potential profit.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Virtacoin( VTA ) on: September 25, 2020, 11:54:22 PM
Looks good and believe to be one of the famous crypto next year. the price keep growing up

That's a good news for this coin, will be keeping eye on this if there's a growing development in the upcoming months. If about popularity, I think it will have to fluctuate more often to be recognized on biggest exchanges. More importantly, it needs more order volumes in order to acquire sustainable trading so it could compete in the market.
923  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much HODLing stealing opportunities? on: September 25, 2020, 11:11:27 PM
If you are not a good trader then there is no need of holding if you have the knowledge and understanding on how the market works and you can takes advantage of the up and down and buy and sell at the right time then you should better to hold.
is an option that is easily accepted and is a solution for some people who cannot trade by holding it until the target price is reached.

But if as a professional trader or who already understands market movements, taking advantage of every ups and downs of prices will be very profitable, but not always profitable, there will definitely be a loss in some trades.

Trading is also not only up and down, but about emotions that can be controlled properly so as not to spoil the plan or strategy that has been made.

Sometime our plans won't coincide about the future, only wide imaginations tends to pull you down. Because of my emotions that is beyond my control expectations of much higher value, give me wrong decisions that I have regretted during the days of bullrun. Failure to trade my tokens, made me frustrated, thinking that the price would increase ten folds. That opportunities has gone after bearish market tends to initiate starting 2018 until present.
924  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who sets the bitcoin price? on: September 24, 2020, 11:16:59 PM
They say no one control the price of Bitcoin but apparently it is not true because whales could make total changes upon the price.
No, the whales cant control the price but they can only play with it for their own benefit. Nobody can control the price of bitcoin and it is clearly determined by the activity of the trader. Because bitcoin is a very volatile asset, anyone who has a lot of capital can look for loopholes to get multiple profit. Nobody want to lose, and often the activity of the whales can negatively impact the price of bitcoin but only temporarily before they react again.
They can't control but using their own money, I guess they'll able to create hype on their respective holdings which is valuable to them. Price always matters in every asset, once they're done on investing such money in order to grow their bitcoin that's the time pullback happens. Most cases and same pattern always tend to initiate, and lessons made us learn unto it so we're just riding on these big fishes.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Downfall of dia data (DeFi) on: September 24, 2020, 09:12:08 PM
it's not so easy as you said even this time the bounty is not yet distributed and imagine what will be happening when the first batch will be distributed to the hunters and then some people will be dumping their coins.

The recovery needs a huge pump from the whales. More and more coins are always coming everyday.
It's quite difficult for DIA to recover its price again. the distribution of bounty has already delayed for the next 2 weeks.

Don't conclude yet because you do'nt now what gonna happen in the near future

Look at the fundamentals of dia. They are solid. Now you can do only two things: sell with big looses or wait up.
Those who have some money will have a big chances to buy on big dump then. Only whales know where they will go with their assets.
It's not the first dump, bear market I see, so the only thing to do is holding your Token Smiley

Every person had their personal opinions about dia mate, it doesn't matter to me at the first place. Now only this coins encountered massive fall, that's why holding for long terms was the last option. But, you need to know when is the right time for that limitations because you'll wake up one day that coins has zero value or be gone in every exchange. Speculations always matters with a consideration which every traders look forward in every steps in trading.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: September 24, 2020, 01:12:51 AM
It is highly unlikely for scams like these will go away. Especially now that there are more hunters out there that are willing to take up job because of the pandemic. Overall i just feel bad for hunters that spent their time on these scams.
It's really frustrating that after many months of supporting the project it ended up with nothing. Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks before joining in the campaign to make sure that the project are legitimate. We just need to accept the fact that in crypto world we need to be wise and analyze it properly. There's a lot ot scammers and we must do our job to make research about the project. Its good to know that the action like this take place to help eliminate the bounty scam.

Gladly it's now starting to be swept away mate, and if scammers tried to have an attempt they'll easily be determined through validations, and feedbacks from social media. That's the very powerful tool for us to unmask those criminals here in anonymous world of crypto. We must have an effort to support our fellow members here, and don't let scammers destroy our built foundation in just one glance.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UNI - The First Trillion Dollar Crypto? on: September 23, 2020, 11:49:28 PM
As I thought, UNI tokens have dropped dramatically in price after reaching all time high prices a few days ago.
According to data on the coinmarketcap site, the UNI token fell by -24%, imagine three days ago the price of
UNI tokens was still at $ 8. Whereas now it is down to $ 4, there must be a lot of FOMO by buying UNI tokens
at peak prices. Therefore, don't be interested in investing in coins that are hype, as a result, we can lose money
for buying at the peak price.

Anyone who actually thought it would rise up past $10 was sorely disappointed when Bitcoin took a tumble. Even a socalled dex governance token has correlation to Bitcoin in the end, so what does this tell you about them? People are speculating of course, not using it to help vote at all.

The effect of hype is beyond our control, and if people still managed to believed on that; possibly we will experience big increase. If demand rises, I think $10 was too small value, because it could reach double or triple of that expected value. But what's important is to determine the market trend once it will hit the peak price, eventually it might crash surprisingly and you wouldn't be able to grab your profit in the long run.
928  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 200 week Moving Average (MA) on: September 23, 2020, 09:45:29 AM
I saw this earlier on Twitter by one of the famous cryptocurrency user in Twitter PlanB(@100trillionUSD)
The stock-to-flow chart of PlanB's on Bitcoin is promising, especially when it also show the 200 Moving Average from  the beginning, the Moving Average is acting like a strong support on Bitcoin espeically started around year 2015 - 2016 and on the huge dump last 2019 when we reached around $4,000 before.

What can you say on this chart? Are we touching again the moving average before a new all-time-high on Bitcoin?

As I can see on the chart there's a possibility that we're going to experience some slight drops, and eventually bounce amazingly because of the upward trend. Touching all time high has no assurance yet, but somehow it's capable of happening without an specific date of prediction. With previous years of productivity, I guess same pattern will apply but with longer timeline.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it now when ethereum is down? on: September 22, 2020, 09:58:01 PM
today ethereum is down more than 15%. I wonder why this happened. is it possible because of the high cost of GAS? or for some other reason. I didn't find any news that caused the situation to turn out badly like this. this happened suddenly, is it safe, Will ethereum go back to $400?

Mainly, this certain cases about gas was the huge impact with ethereum to go down because of higher transaction cost which is gas fee. If there's no changes that will be made on this current situation, I don't think $400 per eth will be easier to reach because most holders and traders prefers optimal transaction cost rather than spending much.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins that would make a good short term #HODL on: September 22, 2020, 03:22:46 AM
I think your choices are just made out of favouritism or maybe your holding that coins/tokens but anyway I have also some coins that quite good for short term HODL, namely XRP, ETH and BNB because I believe this coin has a string of popularity, use case and demand to be a good candidate for short term holding.
That’s the proven coins to invest for and I will also go for this one with a great fundamental, and can generate profit for a short term or a long term goal. The tokens on the OP obviously a new project that has no guarantee of a future return but if you guys really believe on a DeFi project and see this one as a big potential token, then do have your own research and confirm this if the OP is correct or not, invest with your own research.
There's no assurance for a new project, but if you're feed with legit and believable information I think the decision depends on how you analyze a certain matter. That's a great mindset if we're doing our personal effort towards researching on prospected token projects, having short and long term trades is a good potential profit. If you're not yet having those good coins, I suggest taking xrp as a good start while not having final decisions for the other crypto.
931  Economy / Speculation / Re: If market crashes, BTC will crash twice as hard. on: September 22, 2020, 01:29:00 AM
I believe that market will be fine for a while, I do not care if Trump wins or Biden wins, eventually market will readjust and I know that pandemic happened and it killed many economies in the world but right now I do not think that will continue forever, it will probably recover adn that means "next crash" for market will not be soon, it will take years probably over a decade to happen.
neutral reaction for now will keep us safe because we will not react in shit news about this or that and sometimes being in silent is better than in the open.
stop speculating more and trust our coins that is best action now.
Quote
This is why I believe right now is perfect time to invest into both bitcoin (or crypto in general) and also investing into stock market as well, for the next 10 years you are going to make a profit from both of them. I believe by the time 2030 comes bitcoin will be over 50k easily (probably closer to 100k) and also we are going to see stock markets be 5x of what they are right now as well.
10 years from now?i think Bitcoin will be 6 digits, because we come 5 digits in 10 years so what more in the next same range?
anyway we are only speculating but with confidence because we trust bitcoin and this is waht we have to now, with this market up and down.

For that trust I believed there's a good future for bitcoin, as well the other cryptocurrency that has a consistent market volume. Don't get intimidated if bitcoin crashes badly, eventually it will recover nicely in perfect timing. Meanwhile, lets just be calm and easy because we need to focus on our daily living without being stressed. Fluctuations is always a part of bitcoin's milestone and even though it crashed frequently, it will bounce back successfully by the time demand increases.
932  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are decreasing? on: September 21, 2020, 11:34:29 PM
Don't expect too much with bullrun during pandemic days, because many of the investors now depends on how the economy runs over. Bitcoin's legacy isn't over, it might goes up and downs without prior notice with a lots of surprising behavior. The market needs a lot lot of time to regain it's momentum, and we can't always rely only in predictions even if we seen good increase from previous months, it doesn't mean we're confident enough to see another potential bullrun.
933  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Legit trading courses on: September 21, 2020, 11:01:31 PM
I'm new to the whole crypto world and i've been fascinated by trading in this sector. I would love to find a good program that can help me learn and avoid painful mistakes, but im finding it quite hard to figure out which ones are real and which ones are scams!
For now the two one that sound legit are the course from tradercobbs by craig cobb and Blockchain education which is highly promoted by crypto oracle.
I was wondering if anyone knows if they are legit and in case have any advice's on good courses!

Trading is all about the practical experience. Why should new people try to get into courses. Mistake alone will shape you to a perfect shape. You may lose some money by mistake ,but that experience will gain you ten times of loss money. So don't worry for the loss in trading, you can easily gain from trading.

Even if courses are made to educate people nobody can teach them an emotional management toward the pressures of trading. It's a long term process to learn, so if many of aspiring traders will be eager to pursue a good knowledge then they should face such consequences. Many factors to become a successful trader, that must undergo several challenges like losing such funds and several failures will always tend to occur.

935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: September 20, 2020, 10:51:06 PM
There isn't a single gambler with all good days behind him! Painful days are normal as lucky days, one doesn't happen without other! And in the middle you have many days when we were even in the end of the day, so we don't count them. There's no light without dark, simple as that! If you count that you can be positive in gambling all the time, in the end of every gambling session, you will end up disappointed many times, so many times that it will hurt your mentally! It's why you gambling with what you can afford to lose, when your bankroll hits zero you just move from casino and take a break, after some time when you have money to spare try again!
This is the saddest part of gambling if a person can't manage financially, it would turn out bad most of the time. However, learning how to control someone's emotion would certainly fix something that really making it hard by the time of pressures. We must move forward and don't let fear and anxieties be the stoppage of our desires in winning with our favorite bets.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 18, 2020, 11:58:51 PM
It is difficult to avoid gambling especially when you are addicted so for everyone who is just starting to gamble do not be greedy and always have self-limitation. And of course a reminder to everyone we always advise our friends who are addicted to gambling because they need us because it is difficult to avoid gambling. They need advice, friends, family members so that they can overcome the addiction caused by gambling.
This is the problem of a person when he becomes to learn to gamble without self discipline, and self control you can go wrong. The result is being addictive into it, always have self control this way you can avoid losing huge of money. Actually this person is really need professional help and with the help of family or friends it can overcome hard at first somehow very helpful.

Having discipline over a certain habit can't be sustainable of you're not having the desire control yourself. It should start step by step process before addiction can be prevented. We must deal with positive person who can guide in times of desperation, especially when you're losing too much in gambling.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: fortunejack withdarwal delay on: September 16, 2020, 07:32:45 PM
Before withdrawing you have wager depend with how the rule fortunejack, always softly and success when withdrawing with fortunejack and never delay when withdrawing. Better contact their team and asking what your problem and why delay when trying for withdrawing, maybe you wrong with wallet address or have upgrade their system working right now.

There must be proofs for this concerns, we couldn't just believe without facts because sometimes our errors can justify the means of everything. If withdrawal didn't happened, then it must be raised towards the site admin, so in that case you'll be able to verify what errors is present. With regards to the rules of fortunejack, well it should be followed and problems won't occur that bad if nothing's wrong at all.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Raids and kids involving spider betting. on: September 14, 2020, 11:57:16 PM
Even with pandemic gamblers are itching to bet violating the social gathering and other protocols like proper wearing of facemask to observe minimum health protection. This is why police officers here in our place are actively monitoring not only for cock fighting, cards game and this one spider betting.

Spider betting is the new trend of gambling here in our place. This is inspired by the kids who were active on this as sort of playing letting spiders to fight. This is really not a fun to see for others but here in our place when big events and higher bets happen, the viewers will tend to shout and cheers for the spider they bet. The venue will seem to be lively that this event could eventually reach to the authorities.

The only problem with this kind of gambling is that kids do involve in betting at young age. Since betting is very affordable to them that they can afford after looking for some spiders and sold it to a gambler in a cheaper price then the proceeds of the sale will then be use to gamble by these kids age 9-16 Y.O. The good thing is that whenever they caught to prison since the kids are protected by law under the age of 17 and below the will be set free after their parents made some arrangement to the police officers.

Because of these event, the authority now conduct a constant monitoring and raids here in our place. The good thing is that betting still continue and police officers can't do anything about it except constant monitoring and doing raids. After a certain raids spider betting will then resume and happiness together in sider fight and betting will remain. So sad, LOL.

What can you say about this?
Are we really that hard headed or just love spider betting?

edit: Pics for attention only!CTTO of the picture

This type of gambling shouldn't be allow for minors specifically on children. It could possibly distract their minds over money and reality, because they're just a kid and what they always think about is winning and fun. If ever they can't handle stress and being pressured by losses it could lead to bad outcomes. Authority's serious sanctions should come after them, but there should be a consideration for these kids and only the gambling stablishment should be liable for that erring matters.
939  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to expect in soccer this season on: September 13, 2020, 11:52:10 PM
As a soccer fan, I certainly happy the Premier League to have started again, even though we can't watch it in full directly at the stadium.
But that doesn't reduce the excitement of the match, I'm even starting to get excited, which means we can start sports betting again.
Speaking of Premier League, of course, I will never get bored, because it is the most popular football league today. Making the Premier
League an attractive entertainment choice in the midst of this pandemic that has not ended.

Good thing that in your place you still enjoyed that kinds of sports mate, as well as betting experience. Unfortunately here in asia, I wasn't able to see this kind of game to resume. The popularity of this soccer league influenced many young people, but it made them frustrated this times of pandemic due to social distancing protocols. Our local sports here in the country has no proper advice, when is the proper resume of the event not just with soccer but also with several games associated with different athletes.
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 12, 2020, 01:08:48 AM
~snip~

This is what I thought too, kids will still learn about gambling in their life anyway. I've learn to gamble my marbles when I was young, my allowance at school too, my other toys as well, they will learn it in every aspect. So what we can really do is inform them right away about it, make them understand as soon as possible why it is prohibited. Be open to them and make them really understand it.

It ain't a talk about being poor or not, bot will learn it anyway, especially when they are playing. Gambling is all around, we may not notice but there's always a part where we gamble something when we are playing too. Parents should supervised their kids, not too strict. Just don't create a vibe or a wall with them that will make them be secretive to you.

So we have the same things when we were young because I am gambling my marbles too, using a card with money for the winner, guess what type of the next car that we've met, and else. But I stop when my father caught me gambling my marbles, and he scolds me. But then my father explains to me why I should not gambling with my marbles. Kids learned by themselves, and they have full of ideas that we never thought.

That is why parents need to watch their kids when they grow up because without giving them attention, they can become anything that we never expect. I don't like too strict in a watch or take care of them because that can make them not feel comfortable, especially when they are with their friends. So no matter if they visit online crypto gambling or fiat gambling site by coincidence, they will know that they should not try because they know the risk.

As a parent mate, we need to be more watchful on our kids and what I see on your insights that's the best mindset to consider. Because most people these days doesn't value this kind of parenting, they'll making their kids more liberated without knowing the bad effects on their future lives. Gambling is good when times of winning entertainment but it's a stressful thing once you're drowned in debt so it's very important that our kids will be educated with positive and bad sides of it.
