921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mempool reaches 600K transactions on: September 06, 2023, 06:52:24 PM
When I wrote there were 563,708 tx bitcoin that had not been confirmed.
I just realized that transaction fees have increased, but I'm not completely worried if this is a normal case. On the other hand, a similar case occurred a while ago which caused the mempool to congested due to spam attacks, these are things that I'm worried about given that there hasn't been a really agreed upon solution to stop the attack.

I myself don't really know what the best solution is at the moment, but this case might be more concerning because it won't stop. This is clearly annoying, I hope there will be a best solution to overcome it which will then be mutually agreed upon.

is it possible that if the blocks are not confirmed, then the halving will be delayed?
Halving will still occur regardless of mempool congestion. The mempool congestion will simply change the timing, meaning the halving will take longer than previously predictions.

There is still a possibility that they in a good performance, considering they have an experienced coach, but without a key player like Vini Real Madrid performance may not be really good.
Before against Atletico Madrid in matchday 6, I mean next match on matchday 5 Real Madrid will also against Real Sociedad, without Vini Jr. I think Real Madrid will difficulties to got three points. But let's see in that match first, whether the Real Madrid team is still in good performance or not. If not, then things will be difficult for them against Atletico Madrid.
Last season Real Madrid had difficulty winning their home match against Real Sociedad. Real Madrid drew in the home match, while Real Madrid had to admit defeat when they visited Sociedad headquarters. Of course Real Madrid will try to improve at their meetings this season even if they are not strengthened by some of their pillars including Vinicius.

I believe Real Madrid is fundamentally not a worthy opponent for Real Sociedad considering the two's match record. In the last 36 meetings, Real Madrid was able to pack 23 wins, 6 draws and only 7 defeats. This means that it is highly probable that Real Madrid are the favorites at home despite their poor results last season against the same team.
923  Economy / Reputation / Re: If someone is a proven liar, do they deserve to be given negative trust? on: September 06, 2023, 04:42:49 PM
Dishonest = not trustworthy. Someone who is dishonest often cannot be trusted so that person has the potential to harm others financially or so on. But as long as there are no cases where someone is being dishonest or lying, then I don't think a trust rating is necessary even if it is neutral.

If someone gets a negative or neutral trust rating simply because someone thinks that person is lying without hard evidence to support it, then I don't think they deserve any rating on their trust page. Someone who is identified as lying and committing scam which results in a risk of loss, then the negative tag is very appropriate.

I didn't expect what happened to Manchester United in the extra time. Anyone who sees the result of the match will believe that Arsenal demolished Manchester United totally not knowing that the extra 2 goals came from 90 + 5. Manchester United lost the energy they started with during the ending of the match. I do not understand when you say fatigue because they had test time before another match. Infact, Champions league matches have not started and why are they facing fatigue. So what will happen when the Champions League matches start. Manchester United needs to sign good players to sustain the standard of the club.
Arsenal's defeat made many people think Manchester United was very bad, on the other hand, the same thing could happen to Arsenal if Manchester United won. In that match, Ten Hag struggled to find a suitable replacement in defense after Lisandro Martínez was injured. Ten Hag also does not have Varane on his squad list, meaning he will have to choose Maguire and Jonny Evans to optimize his tactics.

These two players didn't perform too badly in the rest of the game towards injury time, but Ten Hag's plan to maintain a draw failed when Declan Rice scored a goal against Onana. Ten Hag had to appear so offensive that in the end it created a gap in the defense which allowed Jesus to break into Onana's goal again. It was a good play that Arsenal put in but I think they deserved to win even if there was a luck factor going their way.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots with the purchase of bonus games - is it good or bad? on: September 05, 2023, 09:27:32 PM
If you sit back and buy 100 bonus buys, you will profit on maybe 10 of those buys. The casino will love you and your wallet will hate you. Buying 1 every now n then and hoping for a big win is fine, but do not go spam buying bonuses unless you hate money.
yahoo62278, you have represented my opinion on bonus purchases.
You're right though there's nothing wrong with how someone utilizes the feature. In many cases, repeated bonus purchases just drain the player's balance without a worth it win, that's an experience I can never escape from anyone.

Buying the occasional bonus was fine, but I never expected to win something as big as the max payout. That's incredibly hard to win, but some gamblers seem to be chasing it anyway. Bad, that's a bad idea in my opinion.

Arsenal are tough and fierce when it comes to games on Emirates ground. Mikel Arteta is acquainted with his players and knows exactly the appropriate techniques to triggered against his opponents. Manchester United were victims of fatigue in the game, Erik Ten Hag made big mistakes this summer by not signing Alejandro Martinez replacement, he had the available funds to sign rather he was reluctant. The Red Devils were devoured by Gunners in injury time, ofcourse no one was expecting that, because we have all concluded the game to be a  North London Derby draw tie.
There was a luck factor for Arsenal in their late victory against Manchester United. Arsenal didn't have many good chances to score although at the end of 3 out of 5 attempts their goal was enough to get them a full 3 points at home. Of course it's great, but I don't think I can beat Manchester City and Liverpool in the same way.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto or Real estate on: September 05, 2023, 08:30:50 PM
Cryptocurrency:
 Cryptocurrency is a digital form of currency that not controlled by any government or any central authority.
In crypto, there is a high rate of return as compared to the real-estate. Cryptocurrency is decentralized (not controlled by any authority or any government). In crypto, u can trade at any time according to the condition of the market you can trade for a long or short period of time. As you wish. But in crypto, the price can swing at any time because any good or bad news is able to change the game.
Real-estate:
Real estate investors are those who purchase property to make profit. They buy residential, commercial or invest through funds. They make money when the value of the money over time increases.  Real estate provides us with a physical asset that can provide us security and stability as compared to cryptocurrency. Real estate property has high potential as compared to crypto to increase its value after a period of time.
You mentioned crypto in general, but if you mentioned bitcoin specifically then maybe you would get a different response.
I changed crypto to bitcoin, meaning that it is bitcoin that deserves to be called an asset that is not controlled by any government or authority. Bitcoin and real estate are great to be a store of value for your assets but right now I tend to prefer bitcoin over real estate given the potential.

The volatility of these two store of value assets is different, after all, they are also different. Bitcoin has no physical properties, but has uses, while the real estate you are referring to also has risks that you cannot avoid. It all depends on how you assess the two assets and how your risk tolerance is so that you may disagree with some assumptions and choose to agree with different assumptions.

Which one do you prefer?
Bitcoin.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government vs Bitcoin on: September 05, 2023, 05:28:32 PM

With a high probability I can say that you are from Russia, if you have such a state of affairs. That's not even the point.
You guessed wrong, I'm not from Russia.
But if you are curious where I am coming from then you can check my post history.

I am extremely annoyed by the fact that it is impossible to fully use crypto projects as an alternative payment system, but pay taxes if you have it on your wallets. And how to understand all this? Just give me the money and that's it.
Maybe give them the keys to the safe, where the money is? Well, why go around and around?
I have stated everything correctly, I mean crypto is not illegal in my country because the government allows it to be traded and it falls under the class of commodity assets. While the government through law prohibits its use as legal currency, I don't have a problem with that.

Despite this, the government manages to profit from the tax revenue of each trader who uses a licensed exchange. This has been implemented in my country, but not many people complain because the percentage withholding tax is still relevant.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government vs Bitcoin on: September 04, 2023, 07:00:36 PM
Bitcoin hasn't harmed the government, but the innovation that is in bitcoin makes most governments afraid. Governments are afraid because they can't control bitcoin, of course that has made some of them ban it. But I am grateful that my country's government has not banned bitcoin completely, I mean bitcoin can be traded even though it is not allowed to use it as legal tender.

The policies taken by the government towards bitcoin are sometimes detrimental. Governments tend to say something negative about bitcoin, but they're basically just lying and pretending not to know. Bitcoin is just like any other currency, it can be misused for whatever reason. But that's not a good reason to ban a currency.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 04, 2023, 06:02:26 PM
~~~
You are right we shouldn't use the performance of a club in the domestic league to judge the performance in the Champions league. Sevilla has been coming up with poor performance since the beginning of this season,I think that there is a reason for this. Maybe they want to stay more focus on the Champions league,who knows ?
This was how they started last season and ended up being the champion of Europa which gave them an automatic ticket to the champions league. So let's relax and watch how their performance will be in UCL,maybe very poor or not.
There are many other examples if you want to mention them. I mean; PSG, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and several other top teams failed in the Champions League even though they were title winners in their respective domestic leagues. I agree with you that a team's performance in the domestic league cannot be completely used as a benchmark that they will perform just as bad in the Champions League.
~~~
This is not something new because if we remember last season they were also like that in domestic competitions.
I think in this case Sevilla will still be the same as before where they will continue to struggle but when they get good momentum they will return to form.
Now it's quite interesting what José Luis Mendilibar will do whether he will focus on at least competing to qualify for the Champions League group stage or give up the Champions League in the hope of finishing in 3rd place and repeating in the Europa League just like last season with a note that they have to focus more on La Liga in order to perform a little better.
With the current conditions I think one must be taken because seeing last season they were more focused on the Europa League it was good depending on José Luis Mendilibar's plan whether to follow the same plan as last season or change by focusing on improving in La Liga.
I don't consider Sevilla really capable of qualifying for the knockout stages this season if they can't improve their performance. Their chances are not better than Arsenal or PSV, but they have a chance to win the match and get points. The main target remains, they want to qualify for the last 16 but maybe it would be better if they went down to the Europa League and competed better there instead of just falling in the last 16.
931  Other / Meta / Re: A good statistics to show Nigeria need more merits source to approved at least 2 on: September 04, 2023, 05:49:03 PM
I admit that adding some merit source to your local board will allow more quality posts to get the merit they deserve. However, so far theymos haven't received a single merit source application which makes people ask about this, but I'm sure you can work around it wisely.

What I mean by this is that most of your local board users need to realize that improving the merit statistics on your local board is necessary for quality posts to get the merit they deserve. You all can focus on distributing sMerit in local board instead of spending it on local users of the same local in global board (including you), this is what I noticed with some local users of Nigeria. I do it for my own local board, of course it is part of my way to spread more merit in the local board although we also need some generous merit source.

Sevilla's current Laliga form is not encouraging, and this may have an impact on their Champions League performance because teams like Arsenal and PSV are playing very well in their respective leagues, with only Sevilla and Lens having poor starts to their respective league seasons; as a result, I predict Arsenal and PSV to qualify to the round of 16 ahead of Lens and Sevilla.
I don't imagine that Sevilla performed so badly in La Liga earlier this season, but there is a possibility that they can do better in the Champions League to win a place in the last 16. Sevilla are a different team in the Champions League so we shouldn't underestimate them just because of their poor form in La Liga.

In my opinion, Sevilla still has a chance even though Arsenal and PSV are able to perform well in their respective domestic leagues. Even though it can be used as a benchmark for analyzing the possibilities, I am sure that Sevilla will look different in the Champions League.

             Osasuno Vs Barcelona
It is still goalless as Barcelona is finding it difficult to break the deadlock. Barcelona is in full control of the match,and at the moment, Osasuno wouldn't give Barcelona any chance to net the post. Instead they are also struggling to score first.

The pressure is still high and I guess from the way the game is going, Barcelona will score before the end of this first half and if they don't,I believe they will do that in the second half. We saw how Barcelona won their last match that ended 2-0,which the first goal was scored on the 73rd minutes of the game.

Finally Barcelona has scored on the 44th minutes of the game by Kounde with a header after he received a cross. It is half time.
Osasuno 0-1 Barcelona
Barcelona were very nervous in the first half and they lost the ball too easily when they shouldn't have. Several opportunities could not be exploited, but finally Kounde closed the first half with a header from a corner kick. This 0-1 lead still lasted for 60 minutes, but I'm sure Barcelona can double their advantage in the second half.

Lamine Yamal was not doing too well in this match and Xavi replaced him with Ferran Torres, while Sergi Roberto has been replaced by Joao Cancelo. I hope Xavi can also give some minutes to Joao Felix, he might replace Gavi.

~~~
It seems easy money to me to bet on Barcelona against Osasuna because we know the performance of Barcelona was much better so far and they are even the first hope for winning the La Liga title for another time with Xavi.
Also in the first half Barcelona proved they could perform much better than Osasuna, there is still time while the 1.16 rate is too low.
Yes, those are favorable odds, but I don't think Barcelona were too good in the second half so this bet is a bit risky.
However, the probability of Barcelona winning is very high.
Big games like this are worth 6 points. At the moment Arsenal should feel like they have scored 6 important points because Manchester United were a natural title contender. With these defeats, it would not be right to say for sure, since the league has just started, even if they break away from the competition in the league. Another Manchester team, City 4/4, are at the top of the leaderboard. Ten Hag must now work harder to reduce the points lost in big matches.
I know the league is just starting, but Manchester United have lost 5 points from 4 matches.
Of course there are still the next 34 matches where Ten Hag can improve the quality of his team's performance, but every point lost has made them even further away from the top of the standings.
Ten Hag certainly took Manchester United to a better level of play last season, but this season he hasn't been as good. There needs to be improvement in every game in the future because of course that will allow them to maintain the difference in points with other competitors.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 03, 2023, 07:50:27 PM
PSG went berserk, beating Lyon in the first half with a score of 0-4. Playing away doesn't make PSG weak, because in reality Lyon can't do much to stop PSG movement. It's really unfortunate, because basically Lyon is also in a bad performance at this moment because they have played three matches but Lyon didn't get a win at all. Therefore, it would not be strange if PSG were able to beat Lyon in this match, because basically PSG is the one who has improved their performance in every match, and then against Lyon which is in a slump. So of course, PSG can take advantage of the bad conditions experienced by Lyon to win big in this away match.
Luis Enrique seems to be starting to find the best solution so that PSG's attack line really looks good. Mbappe, Asensio and Dembele have been the best so far in the last two match, but I have never seen Dembele score a goal or assist in 3 match. PSG is 0-4 ahead of Lyon, it looks easy for them after the first two matches were only draws.
I think there will still be a few more goals in the second half because PSG really dominated this match. Lyon is still giving their best, but so far they have not been able to score a goal even though they have had several opportunities.
From my perspective, The referee was not fair to Manchester United in this match, looks like the whole game was just programmed in favor of Arsenal because I wonder why such an amount of time was given when there were no serious injuries sustained during the game, even though Arsenal had a late come but the ref was not fair in his officiating of the game, hence Mutd would have become the victors of that match.
There are indications that Manchester United are trying to buy time to maintain a 1-1 draw, that's why Onana also got a yellow card even though I didn't see him commit a foul. This was a clear indication that more time was needed, but the worst thing was that Manchester United did not take advantage of it, Arsenal on the other hand made perfect use of it.
Manchester United were under high pressure in the second half because Arsenal really did their best in front of their supporters. Arteta's strategy worked in the end, especially after he brought on Gabriel Jesus and Fábio Vieira. 3-1 was a deserved win for Arsenal.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 03, 2023, 07:15:30 PM
The Osasuna vs Barcelona match is underway and in this match Xavi begins to lead his team again on the sidelines after ending his ban due to a red card. Xavi seems very optimistic about this fight and continuing his winning streak, but it might not be easy.
Today Barcelona came with their best strength even though they were still missing Pedri and Araujo. However their two most recent signings have been on the bench and are likely to make their debut today. The match was fierce, but Barcelona was very dominant. I don't think Barcelona will drop points away, so winning is what I think about the most.
I checked what happened when Atletico Madrid hosted Sevilla the last time and saw this.  Grin
Would we see a similar result again two days later? Atletico Madrid are in an amazing shape now so who knows maybe it will happen. They are like the opposite poles of a magnet right now. Sevilla defense is very vulnerable as we have seen it in the matches they played so far. If Alaves can score 4 goals against them in a home match Atletico Madrid can do a similar work surely.
I thought it was the best nonsense from Sevilla last season even though in the end Sevilla managed to win the Europa League title and qualify for the Champions League. Maybe it's unreasonable to expect Sevilla to repeat the same mistakes this season, but Sevilla are still very consistent with their poor performance without points in the first 3 matches this season.
Atletico Madrid playing at home, of course they are superior to win. But after all this is a big match in which in essence it is hoped that there will be the best performances from both teams. Sevilla must recover and get good form from their performance, meaning they must end their bad trend in the last 3 matches and start collecting points.
Tokocrypto setelah menginformasikan kepada penggunanya akan ada pemeliharaan sistem/Maintenance IDR pada 31 Agustus, saya berpikir mereka akan melakukan sesuatu yang berkaitan dengan pembicaraan seputar besaran biaya. Ternyata pihak exchange tokocrypto meluncurkan fitur "konversi BIDR ke IDR". Berdasarkan pengakuan dari pihak exchange tokocrypto, peluncuran fitur konversi BIDR ke IDR terjadi karena mereka mendengar masukan dari pengguna.
Menurut saya setiap pengguna exchange Tokocrypto sepertinya sudah mendapatkan notifikasi tersebut terutama jika anda menggunakan aplikasi mobile ataupun pada exchage web-nya.
Tentu peningkatan itu diharapkan karena selama ini sejak penambahan IDR maka setiap pengguna yang memiliki BIDR harus menjualnya dulu ke IDR dengan sistem yang sama seperti perdagangan lainnya. Secara umum itu merugikan pengguna mengingat biaya perdagangan dan juga pajak yang terpotong otomatis, tapi syukurlah kalau pihak Tokocrypto mulai menyadari dan meningkatkan layanannya. Jadi setiap pengguna yang memiliki BIDR bisa mengkonversinya secara langsung ke IDR seperti yang dijelaskan.
The sequence will probably be the same as most users assume, but I think before you decide to invest in bitcoin, you need to prepare yourself in advance for a few things like the following:
  • Find out as much information as possible about the asset you want to invest in.
  • Learn how to get them and how to spend them
  • Get the best wallet to store it safely
  • Build mentality, psychology and improve your skills in risk management.
  • Meanwhile, you also need to prepare yourself to have an emergency budget instead of investing all your budget in bitcoin.
  • Diversify, not necessarily about owning more different assets but also by not keeping your bitcoins in one wallet.
