Sale in panic - the worst that you could make after market crash. It is better not to do practically nothing. Absolutely anything. If you hold now, there is a good chance that in the long term you will see that your portfolio grows in the price. Long-term investment offers access to ampler opportunities. completely agree with your opinion. It is better dont do anything in such market and do not sell at a loss. If we look at the market 2-3 years ago, we will see that all assets have grown. Therefore, the long-term investment is one of the best ways of earning good profits. HOLD and dont enter the market every hour. |

We can never tell what will happen in the market but somehow the price of cryptos right now is moving uo, what we can do is to hope for its stability though i doubt it because of its volatility nature. This is for my opinion only.
I think that 2018 will be the year of consolidation of many assets and we can see $6-8k for 1 btc. After strong growth in 2017, the market needs to take some rest, and it will go to the new hights after. In my opinion 2019-2020 years will be a good time for market. |

I have between 25-35% my money on crypto
the rest goes most on stocks and a little on a low risk fund

Everyone is expecting for market to recover , if market does not recover this year. I am skeptical it will ever recover then. 2018 year will be the testing year.
i think you are right. 2017 was bull market year and now need some correction and relax. There are many people which waiting a bull market run in 2018 but i think that is possible only in the end of the year or 2019. Big players dont repeat a previos scenario. |

I've been watching this forum for about a year now and I belive it's time for my first post.
I'm in crypto since May 2017, started with about 3k$ and currently at 10k$ (could have been 20k if I wasn't such a noob ^^).
Anyways, I would like to hear your opinions on my portfolio for 2018, pros & cons, suggestions, etc.
10.000$ distributed as follows:
Bitcoin = 20%
Ethereum = 20%
Factom = 15%
Vechain = 10%
Syscoin = 10%
Stratis = 6%
Waves = 6%
Ardor = 6%
Oyster = 3,5%
QASH = 3,5%
My goal for 2018 is to make atleast a x5. Do you think it's possible? Too many coins? Any shitcoins here?

good portfolio but i think that in that times we need more keep in usdt and btc ( like 30% usdt 30% btc and 40% other coins) It can save you money and give chance buy cheap coins . The mostly coins - are good and very perspective. Also i think you need pay attention on NEO, EOS and XEM. This coins are giants and show more stability growth. They are strong if market fall. But all in your hands. |

As of now the price of each coin is very unstable, and the price of it just keeps going down. I have seen a coin last year, that the price of each coin goes rapidly high. Now again rapid..almost below expected. Can we sure the investment??

I always thought that initial coin price is not important, because there is no difference between buying 1000 coins at $0.001 or 0.001 coin at $1000. Buy most of my friends who are newbie in crypto prefer buying low cost coins ("BTC is already $15000 but Rillple is still cheap").
Maybe that means that new people coming to crypto would prefer new altcoins (especially altcoins with lower price and more total supply) rather then BTC, ETH and other > 1000$ coins?
Also with cheaper coins it's simply easier to calculate whey purchasing something with crypto. I'm sure everyone is using calculators while trading on BTC/* pairs))
I think that coins with a lower price are easier to grow than more expensive coins. For example: trx, ada, verge, ripple, xem. But sometimes price is not the main factor of pumping. Look on ltc, dash, zec, eth, btc. All this coins have big priсes but grew more. In such cases, you need to buy different coins for risk reduction and big profits Also Check team and product of each assets. |

They have working product and team.They have big updates in Q2 2018. SO it can reach the previous high $0.1 or 800 sat. Right now Bittrex doesn't take new accounts and I'm not too comfortable buying from Cryptopia, HitBTC, and Poloniex. Either fees seem high or people have trouble with withdrawals/losing money/no support.

i think you can enter coinmarket and see that sc trades on upbit, korean exchange, if you are looking for new platform. Also u can use Poloniex, bacause I see that they change their rules and make good withdrawals for users. without problems. I made some withdrawal 2 days ago, all fine. |
