Ok so I've invested around $3600 in the following and would like to know people's views on whether I've made a wise decision and what sort of profit/loss I could expect.
I want to earn as much as I can and as such have gone high risk high reward. If I lose it all, so what....this is gambling essentially. I plan on holding for at least a year

interesting coins, but i think you need to pay attention on more cheaper coins like kin, DTA, OCN, capp. I think that it will be a good idea to hold some btc for buying coin during btc growth. Sure pay attention on XEM its very cheap now and have big potential too. |

My top 5 alts for 2018, expect lots of growth (not including BTC, ETH)

Good choice but OMG, neo and EOS have already pumped. I prefer now to buy cheap coins with low capitalization and perspectiv product. They can make you a good profits. My choice : DTA, OCN, KIN, CAPPA, APPC. |

Mostly i am holding. If you hold is possible to make 10-20x and more. But my strategy depends on market. If market is bullish i try hold coins and make good profit. If market in consolidation phase or flat - i am trading. No daytrading , mostly swing-trading. |

There are many good altcoins. All depends from your strategy: Risky or more safely . If risky : kin and OCN . IF more safely - you can take XEM and ADA, because they are very cheap now and have good potential.

I hold a small bag with ETC. And was hoping to see ETC at 40-50$ now because of the HARD FORK 5th March. But now it looks like everyone just dump the coin. Can anyone tell me what is going on ?

I think that this is an false dump. It is also possible that ETC lose price -because many exchanges do not support the CLO airdrop, including Bittrex. If you bought at a good price, then wait. and you will see ETC by $100. |

The founder of ETHEREUM said that over 90% of ICOs are scams. By participating in an ICO, you give your money to a project that probably will never happen. Every day a new ICO comes out ... but what surprises me is that many people invest their savings in these very high risk projects. I think it is much better to invest in real projects already listed on the stock exchange .... of which you know everything well ... For example, BANKERA looks like an ICO scam .....
I'm a little disagree. There are scams in ico but not all. . According to statistics for 2017 there were about 15-20% ico scam. But this does not mean that all ico - scam. Most of the iso conscientiously relate to investors. They collect capitalization and go to the crypto exchanges and continued develop theirs products. |

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL.  Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community. If you look at the market now, you will see that keeping the position is not quite right sometimes. I think that sometimes you need to fix profits ( because i hold SC from 200sat and dont take profit when it was 600 sat - now SC back to the same price. Also I had a situation with ripple I sold it for 1500 sat when dump and after it growth to 4k sat. It was a very good experience for me. I think that hold is better way, but sometimes need take profits and don't wait super prices. |

Usually when the market is downtrending or after a reversal there are some pretty good opportunities for profits. So basically I'm looking for coins similar to what happened to NANO.
I'm looking at LSK(I think people overreacted and sold too much, down almost 60% in the past week), and maybe STRAT or WTC(It's in a small uptrend I'm waiting for a breakout).
What do you think about these? Any others you guys think might go up in the next week or two?
WTC and STRAT(2 ico will be start on the stratis platform soon) good choice but i recomended you take some part of this coins and waitng for more lower price. Also I think ADX, APPC, SC, WAX, TRX can make a good profits in few weeks too. ALL this coins have good news background and have low prices. All depends from your strategy. Safely or risky. Top coins will be a good choice. They are more safely and have good potential( like dash, zec, etc, ETH, xmr, ltc. ) Of course dont forget about btc. Try hold btc too. If you want make a huge profit you need to take some risky coins like (kin, appc,capp, bts, dta, ). Best stratagy for me -hold 60% in safely coins, 40% in risky coins . |

in my opinion i like ETC(fast transaction and low commision), LTC (same propereties) XVG and XRP -too. This is good altcoins for fast transaction every day. Also u can use ETH but sometimes you can waiting for transaction for 3-5 hours if some network problems. I liked all this altcoins because they have USDT pair |
