Arise, arise from the mud!

Somebody woke me up Sad

Anyways I have submitted the form to add Crown there. It be great if more people could do it today.

Also tweeted out to poloniex to add Crown

Me and my friend both filled out the form for crown last week as well.

Node-vps still has 25 throne spots available, before closing for new customers.

Running out quick Smiley 19 left!

So if a coin with CRW's profile were to be in the position that it's use was worth $100 MM in some fashion and the odds of it's continued success are 50%, then $50MM/$42 MM is about $1 per coin, which is about 50x where it is now.   So modest success of an alt-coin project like CRW (and like many others as well -- CRW is not unique in it's pursuit of a slice of the real economy) could achieve a 50x return... and in the worst case and honestly most probable scenario -- CRW ends up worthless... but in that case you only lose 1x.

Its common knowledge that Evan premined darkcoin. I never really piled onto dash because of this fact. CRW offers a much more equal (and in some areas better than) platform for now that I believe will continue to consume larger portions of the market. I don't think CRW will end up worthless any less than btc would end up worthless (pesetacoin is still around barely but worth "something" and honestly, I cannot figure out why that coin still has a market) ... I don't think crowncoin however, will fall like pesetacoin did, since the development is continuing and the announcements keep flowing.

This is a very active community and I am really happy to have "implemented" myself into it lol

VOUT in the throne.conf file refers to the value out ("vOut") index of the transaction which corresponds to the index position of where the 10,000 CRW collateral payment is in the transaction block.  This number will almost always either be 1 or 0, and you just have to look at how the block gets put together to find out.

Yeah I had multiple issues and head scratching moments when it came to the vps configuration (not owners fault, I'll take that blame on myself .. aka learning curve). CHAOSiTEC was a major help earlier and answered the questions that I had in a really quick manner (suprising since he was on the road!).

Even after that, I ran into VIN issues, which I finally nailed down as well.. Couldn't count earlier apparently and I've only got 6 thrones up instead of 7 that I thought I had the coins for Wink

How does one gather 10PH? It must be spread out, not in the corner of a room?  Tongue

miningrigrentals and nicehash Wink

Hey all, first post here for me ....

To start off, I would like to apologize. I didn't realize a couple months ago when I setup a p2pool merge mining that I would end up forcing your hands to implement DGW. I didn't really snoop into CRW until the last week when I noticed getinfo had darksend (which I immediately recognized from DASH). My bad, good to see DGW in there though for when I bounce 10phs MM off the pool again Wink

Second, I setup 3 thrones yesterday (a painful experience and a steep learning curve).. Thanks to those that did the howtos as it made a very nice reference for me!

Today, I want to setup 4 more, got the coins all setup for it, headed over to node-vps.com (since I am out of external IP addresses now), signed up for 4 thrones .. got everything all finished up.. got a blank email stating that "Your Nodes are Configured" ... only while typing this did I get the information about the next step. If the owner of node-vps.com sees this, please setup the ticket system on your site, and remove the default welcome announcements from the WHMCS Wink ... and maybe instead of a blank email, send out that there will be further instructions in another email ... I had thought the blank email was the instructions which failed to have content!

Glad to become a part of the CRW community!

P.S. txid is self explanatory, what is vout supposed to be for the vps setup?

Well, its more than it was so far lol .. it wont be the highest powered run this time, but I expect a bigger surge in the near future Wink

Just can't seem to gather enough hash rate to push above 10phs ... Market just doesnt want to co-operate over the last day

Its not just me .. somebody is piggybacking and bring some hash with them as well lol ... heads up! if your watching here, I'm winding down for 2 hours before I do my final push!

Yeah .. doing next phase .. It should look even better in a few hours Cheesy

Yes I am.. NH and MRR (always open to other rentals if I can ever find more lol)

OP also stated the last month and a half .. not the last block.

I'm not going to explain my reasons, or when and why I slam the hashrate in there... but this experiment works so far... I will let you speculate as to why as you can see my spikes of hashrate.

I will not deny though, that there was a 7.5phs run that was not mine... No idea about that, but the majority of the spikes over the last while have been me.

Edit: Me and my friend
956  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: October 17, 2016, 08:59:09 PM
To start with, it was a test and continues to be a test I guess. Recently this has become a collaboration between myself and a friend after proving to be profitable.

Basically the first couple weeks were minor amount of mining from rentals and setting up a large amount of merge mining and getting that balanced properly as well as automatic distribution of the MM coins to external accounts ... something I really wish was native to p2pool (not that I'm complaining... p2pool is awesome!)

It may become long term, but I'm not certain if it will be constant (they are rentals, and as such (like on NH) can be affected by market).
While I would like to have a high amount of hashing on the pool (10phs+), obviously thats rather costly in rentals (not to mention limited .. NH for both euro and america combined doesn't even have 20phs atm). It will most likely be surges of up to 10phs every 3 or 4 days which last between a few hours and upwards of a day.

I have smaller amounts on a constant level on p2pool, but nothing more than say 50ths in total. My old BFL running at 6ghs I even have pointed to it (free power at my rental, so cost of running it isn't a factor).

If it continues to be profitable for us, I may seriously consider dedicating 1 or 2 phs for the long term on the pool via rentals.

I really do apologize for the orphans for some people I've created... I didn't realize that that may be a by-product of this.

Has been me with rentals (except for 1 spike yesterday iirr) for the last month and a half.
958  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cex.io purchase bot on: April 04, 2014, 03:46:06 PM
As a "hats off" to the mining community, I decided to post my private php bot called balancebot thats for cex.io

I did not come up with the original idea, however, the original was limited to selling NMC and was out of date (a very good concept though!)

Usage is pretty simple, Modify the first 25 lines according to what you want traded (as well as your username, api_key and secret_key.

This bot attempts to balance your balances so they are equal.

At its default settings, the bot will NOT sell or do anything, you have to tell it what you want traded.

Support is in there for balancing: BTC, GHS, FHA, FHM, NMC and LTC.
There is also support for instant selling NMC and LTC.
As an example, if you only wanted to use the bot to sell LTC and NMC to obtain only GHS, you would set those respective fields to 1 from 0.. for the above example:
$balancing_GHS=0; change the 0 to 1
$autosell_LTC=0; change the 0 to 1
$autosell_NMC=0; change the 0 to 1

Hope the script helps somebody (it's definetly helped me in the last while)
I've put it up on pastebin with ID xx6QeyDY http://pastebin.com/xx6QeyDY

There is a bug (somewhere!) where it will try to purchase more than you have in BTC when it's trying to balance .. not entirely sure why unless its because it's including the sell orders which haven't sold.

Enjoy!
