Do you know when CS:GO will be left finally and they will pass to CS 2 in official tournaments as well?

Because some time ago they said that it was the last tournament in CS:GO however there must be a few more tournaments which have been organized since then. I assume they are waiting for CS 2 to be fixed more for some more time. I saw even s1mple saying that this game wasn't playable yet so there is still a need to make it much better.

I have been seeing big updates regularly whenever I launch Steam. I hope the game would be ready for tournaments as well soon.

That's actually their plan. They are to abandon CS:GO to move forward with CS2. There's not many tournaments left for CS:GO while it's still being the official game for CS and major tournaments, although we can't say that CS2 is polished enough to be a platform for huge tournaments specially if there are still some bugs here and there that could potentially destroy a team's strategy.

And now that this is mentioned, the movement still feels off whenever you try to walk or run in CS2. It's as if your character is using rollerblades or something because everything feels so slippery.
They had made an announcement of which tournaments were to transistion to the new Source 2 engine and Sydney's tournament was one of them.
But they had some dates which fell this week of others who would be having the update incorporated into theirs as well.
From the looks of it the match between BIG and The Chosen FEW in the ESL Challenger Jönköping EU Closed Qualifers were already using it.
And why not since everybody else being non-pro players are already playing on it! Since CS:S2 was released to the public late last month.

Raiders beat the Packers unconvincingly with a 17-13 score to what many would say was a very slow game.
Several interceptions by Love and even one made by Jimmy G had it a very low scoring game.
I had the over 43.5 and thought it was an easy one to hit with both quarterbacks having a high percentage within the 20 yard line.
That is football.
Better to put more trust of scoring touchdowns on the teams with better records such as the 49ers and Eagles.

Max surely wants to beat all the records on F1, including the world championship one, now in hands of Schumacher and Hamilton in 7, so i can see him here for a few years more.

Plus i see him enjoying being lonely in the top of the race without so much battling.
This is true since he has a competitive side around him so of course he will more than likely want to beat those records. He won't retire until he comes close and eventually smashes them.
He began driving in the F1 at the age of 16 so in a span of 10 years has accomplished so much. I wouldn't doubt if he drives for another 10 years from here.

Funny how the Green Bay Packers were the favorites just a few hours earlier but now it is the Las Vegas Raiders. They flip flopped the odds.
Might be due to the Packers running back Aaron Jones having hamstring injury so won't be available to play tonight.
I was going with the Raiders -2.5 with the over anyways. Just can't go against Jimmy G at home turf.
Jordan Love still has alot to accomplish first going against the veteran Garoppolo and the Raiders offense.

The NBA preseason has already started earlier last week as I remember watching the Dallas Mavericks getting absolutely slaughtered by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Today there is a MOTD special offered for the Los Angeles Lakers up against the Brooklyn Nets.

https://sportsbet.io/sports/sportsbet-specials/matches/today

It is the preseason so anything can happen and it is more or less a practice session for both teams to see how their new signups can gel with the regular lineups during these games.

The WBNA Finals are still playing and think i saw the Aces beating the Liberty for game one.

Monday Night Football (MNF) for the NFL is the major game I will be watching in the American football league.
If you wish to join in the conversation for this one you can head to the dedicated Sportsbet.io NFL thread here:

Dawson vs Green seems one of the upsets in UFC where Green can be proud of. For once he did something that we can remember about him. It's a surprise to see him shine at his age he defeated one of the top 10 fighters who excel in grappling.  He's going to fight once again among the top 10, Dana should give the old dog another chance.

Just like Derrick Lewis, he did his best to keep his place in the UFC but he will soon be fighting someone tougher than Dawson.
He said he wants to fight in December and he wants to be the fighter that has the most fights this year. The dude doesn't want to rest.
I love that straight left, there's not much power in it but it took Dawson down, the timing was right, and he planted it at the right position too which is what made Dawson fall. From that moment, it's obvious that it's over.
But the hype about Bobby "King" Green is not over yet, many MMA fighters reacted to the surprising win because it's also one of the biggest upsets in the sport. @1.20 for Dawson. Do you guys remember how much was it for Green? Edit: Oh sorry, I see above, it's @4.60. Big win for the high risk takers.

Sure, Dana White should give him another fight because he is just so entertaining to watch and I think it will boost more audience who are expecting another "One Punch Man" KO. More money for Dana.
Bobby King Green with the 32 second knockout in the first round was a shocker and made him the dark horse to look out for in the division.
He called out somebody to fight in December as he wants to headline a fight before the end of the year as you had mentioned.
It is all in the post fight conference video as shown here:
UFC Vegas 80: Post-Fight Press Conference
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wYh7AuZ8Gs

Very impressive win and checked his line right before the fight began and he was all the way up to 5.00x to win.
With those who were lucky enough they grabbed the 1st round @17.00x and the KO win @9.30x which were juicy odds for a guy nobody thought would win because he was an aging fighter who is 40 against an opponent who won something like 10 in a row from what I recall before the bout.

The biggest upset in the UFC was the Pena vs Nunes fight where she won the title from the Lioness.
From what I remember her odds to win were something nuts like 8x because Nunes title defense was flawless.

We have Sportsbet Specials Match of the day for the West Ham Vs Newcastle game for tomorrow with some nice odds for the Magpies to win with Isak with one of the over on goals.
The Newcastle MOTD almost won but West Ham ruined it after getting a late goal to force a draw.

We finally got an NFL MOTD this Sunday and i'm going for the 49ers MOTD since the Cowboys already showed they can be shaky on the road. They're still a solid team that can push this game down to a field-goal difference but I still think the 49ers are the much better team.

Saw the West Ham goal go in and was certain the MOTD Special was sure to hit when Isak was looking like he was going to get his third goal afterwards.
But it was such a strange day in the EPL with all those three earlier matches ending in a draw.
Was expecting for the Manchester City versus Arsenal to end in one too if not for the gunner's goal later in the second half to break the dead lock.

The NFL Special is looking pretty solid with the 49ers dominating the Cowboys having a 21-7 lead and the second half just starting.
They are the only other undefeated team along with the Eagles who won their match earlier in the day.

Big win for the Bears and they were inspired to do it for their fellow fallen solider Dick Butkus who was a well known football player for Chicago.

So this weekend we have another early match in London with Jacksonville Jaguars vs Buffalo Bills.

1. Oscar Piastri (McLaren): 1:24.454s
2. Lando Norris (McLaren)
Actually impressive Mclearens Today.
Gonna be hard for them to beat Max since RBR is more gentle with tires.
Quite impressive indeed since Piastri was not even in F1 when Verstappen won his first championship.
Well done to McLaren but even when they won placing 1st and 3rd during the sprint race Max still wins:

Seen the rapid betting feature being mentioned during the ClubhouseTV broadcast from last week during EPL so it has been available but promotions have been going to my notifications on the site from the beginning of the week.
Pretty nice feature for those who enjoy betting in this fashion.

^^ Agreed with you there cabron!
I think Joe Pyfer has more appeal than Bobby Green does from when he was back in the DWCS. He is also highly proclaimed by Dana White as his highest prospect to dominate the division.

Here are the weigh-ins face offs from yesterday night for this main event:

Qualifying finished so we already know what the grid will look like for raceday while the sprint races happen today.
Qualifying results:

Pos.   Driver         Team     Time
1 Max VERSTAPPEN  Red Bull      1:23.778
2 George RUSSELL   Mercedes   1:24.219
3 Oscar PIASTRI      McLaren     1:24.228
4 Lewis HAMILTON   Mercedes   1:24.305
5 Fernando ALONSO AstonMartin 1:24.369
6 Charles LECLERC   Ferrari        1:24.424
7 Pierre GASLY         Alpine          1:24.553
8 Esteban OCON       Alpine         1:24.763
9 Valtteri BOTTAS     Alfa Romeo   1:25.058
10 Lando NORRIS     McLaren   No Time Set

Lando Norris was in 2nd for the qualifying but had both his timings deleted after receiving penalties for exceeding track limits.
His teammate also had their lap deleted and was only notified of it during the post qualifying race interview.

Think there was a bit of a shove or pushing match with Lance Stroll and one of the Aston Martin pitcrew or personal trainer after the practice sessions.
You can just see his pure frustration afterwards where it looked as if he didn't want to do the post qualifying interview.

Truth @owengtam09
UFC wants that star power to be praised for their champions.
And to be honest Bobby just doesn't have that. He doesn't have any explosive power that draws in the crowds and that is the reason he doesn't have fights for those main event pay-per-views.

People will shell out the money to see a Conor and a Chimaev fighting anybody else just not a Green.
Sorry to say it but this is a reality and also sad but true for any type fighter.

Also the welter weight division is also dying as nobody really wants to be in that weight-class and trying to gain more weight to get out of it.

Found this video earlier today about a fighter who I first heard about getting into a car accident (which I at first thought it was that female fighter who died early in the year - https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2023/jan/08/victoria-lee-mma-one-championship-dies-age-18-angela-christian-lee-hawaii https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BB7VrDT-Foc) but wants to quit the sport outright:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDGytQvkL1k

Quite an interesting interview to watch to learn what fighters go through to make these fights happen.

TNF is happening in less than and hour and a half and everyone is saying there is a lock on this match up tonight!

Washington Commanders vs Chicago Bears
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/american-football/usa/nfl/washington-football-team-v-chicago-bears-65133e73f2779c0001de9c48

This is going by the name of the worst game all year with the Chicago Bears team being in massive disarray from the defense all the way to the offense. This is why they are 0-4 on the season so far.
Then we have a struggling Washington Commanders squad which to me didn't look too bad in the last game I watched them play.
Sam Howell could toss them into the endzone, so they have hope to salvage something still being 2-2 still early on in the season.

But the lines all towards a successful Commanders win being 1.39x odds last I checked.

All in all, this race will be very interesting, as it was not held last year because of the World Championship, so all teams lack the data of the more recent cars and can only fall back on the data from 2021.
I do believe that this would be an interesting race for the drivers knowing that they have to make time and utilize their practice and analyze it so much to make up for the lack of data. I'm really interested to see the practice sessions of this race.
The track does have a strange look to it. As one social media person said, it sort of looks like a dinosaur footprint.
Also forgot it wasn't in the race year for the last season either so yes the drivers and their team crew can't rely on data from the  previous race season is an important point to consider for how it will go this weekend.

Questions for nex race. Is Perez going to be desperate again? 4th child just came.
Perez has been very bad in the last few races for being in a RedBull car, or not good enough for this car, so we'll see if he can improve his pace, but I don't really think so at the moment.
All in all, this race will be very interesting, as it was not held last year because of the World Championship, so all teams lack the data of the more recent cars and can only fall back on the data from 2021.
You don't think so because of what? I mean, there's nothing wrong with his pace, he's not Max but he's good enough to keep placements. It's his erratic impatience that's the problem, as we've been talking about in the last few posts.
I think he's either going to be patient or even more desperate. New baby effect.
Picks must be put in early tomorrow btw.
There is a sprint race format so yeah with the difference in time zones get them in early. I did them a day after the last race.

Also with @owengtam09 and others such as yourselves talking about Perez.
He will be trying his damnedest to try and get more points since he is in second place at the drivers standing with 223 points and Hamilton 190 so he would want to make a good impression to his boss Horner so there won't be anymore talk about him being cast out of the team having the reason of him not being able to perform compared to Verstappen who has 400 points.
With 16/22 race weekends already having been done there is still time for even the likes of Alonso to catch up and make second place.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: October 04, 2023, 09:56:03 PM
Today we have some more juicy Sportsbet Specials and they are worth a look atleast:
I'm tempted to jump on PSG's odds, thinking they have the upper hand on this match, but I find the BTTS+ o9.5 corners combo to be the better play when I somehow see this one ending with a draw. I just hope they don't lack in the corner department once the BTTS hits.

Manchester United losing was the biggest shocker of the evening at the UCL matchday 2 encounters.
To me, their loss was expected after seeing them lose against Crystal Palace. The Lens win surprised me the most since I thought Arsenal patched things up on the road and then that loss happened.

Edit: I can't believe the bet ended up losing by one corner.
This ended up being the most interesting match from all the rest of them as I switching from game to game at the beginning but when Newcastle scored the third goal, I was stuck on watching to if PSG could even score one against them.
Unbelievable loss but the most polarizing of the match day in the Champions League for sure!

The special you took was short by a corner, so did any of them end up landing?
Newcastle to win seem to be the only winner from a bunch of strange scores and even a couple of draws.
The 0-0 one had me laughing since every game I was watching there were goals announced every few minutes.

The only ones I managed to predict correct on any of betslips were Atletico Madrid and Barcelona but those matches were close with cancelled goals being called on their opponents. So it wasn't easy to watch these two if you had anything on these matches.
