I have had no issues with the 64 bit wallet on Win10. I have successfully found several blocks over the last few days using the wallet miner. Is it possible that there is a specific piece of hardware that is causing this issue when using Win10? It seems that i am missing a lot of stuff here. I can see that there is wallet version 3.0 released. Can somebody explain difference ? Do i have to upgrade to v3.0 and blockchain redownload? Thanks
Hello I have version 2 and lots of coins in 1 year deposit. Must I upgrade to V3? I am not an expert so I appreciate a response. I do not want to lose my HODL coins. Thanks - Do I delete old and then install new wallet or just install new wallet. Can someone give me instructions please. Just like you I was running the Version 2.0 wallet and had some coins in there that had been auto-locked. All I did was install the Version 3.0 and everything went smooth and all my coins were listed just fine after the install. I didn't uninstall Version 2.0 but I did make a fresh backup before installing 3.0. As far as I know numerous people have updated from 2.0 to 3.0 and I have not heard one instance of anyone losing coins. |

That's a great question and I can note that 2 AMD boxes mine just fine while an Intel box crashes and yet all three of these boxes have identical memory sticks and identical video cards, identical SSD boot drives, identical sata hard drives, identical DVD roms and the list goes on even identical PSU's and liquid cooling fans lol. The difference would be the cpu and motherboard only. Now what is also odd to me is that another user here said they were crashing using an AMD cpu and yet I'm not having any issue with my AMD's? I think we need to start taking a hard look at the event viewer logs for everyone who crashes and see if that will give us any better clues... |

I can put together a 32 bit windows binary .exe for testing if that would be helpful (I'm not set up for 64 bit builds), it would include the fixes for sorting, but would be unsuitable for mining.

Had V2 up and mining with some coins locked in there - installed v3 in a different directory and when I booted up v3 the coins were in there but when i looked in the v3 directory there was no wallet.dat file? Any suggestions? Do I have to completely delete/uninstall v2 and just make a backup copy of it to save the coins or what? Your wallet is not stored in your client folder. Installed totally clean install on V3 with a totally empty wallet. Still have exact same app hang and still at the same location on the debug log no change there. My hunch is the sort tables may not be the issue. |

Thanks for the offer but I need a 64 bit to do any testing. Hopefully the 3.0 64 bit Windows version will be updated soon to include the sort flag. I'm not sure if that will fix my app hang or not but it is sure worth a try  |

Can anybody confirm if the hodlcoin-3.0.0-win64-setup-unsigned.exe download has been updated to include the new flag option for sortable HOdling tables? I am hoping to update from version 2.0 on an intel cpu that isn't able to run 3.0... |

Having completed numerous HOdl transactions at Yobit to buy and then withdraw HOdl everything went smooth for me. It was just recently that the wallet went into and stayed in maintenance mode. When I ran into a HOdl withdrawal that got hung up I contacted Yobit support and they very quickly responded to my support ticket and had the issue fixed immediately. With all that being said my humble opinion is I would hope we can fix the issue at Yobit and continue to have HOdl coin listed there. For one thing a fairly substantial sum was paid to have the coin listed there so let's not waste that cash investment and past that... it is beneficial to HOdl to be listed on exchanges and this helps the health of the coin. On yobit there is no possibility to withdraw the wallet. Wallet status: Maintenance for several months.
I had that same problem. I just converted my HOdl at Yobit into bitcoin and then transferred that bitcoin out of there. HOdl has been listed over at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hodlcoin/#markets and the value was just $0.0019 today and just now they updated HOdl to reflect the data from CoinExchange the value just shot up to $0.0056! I say time to start mining your own business -and- time to buy and lock as well HOdl the farm!

I just did a small test transaction over at CoinExchange.IO. I sent some bitcoin there and bought some HOdl and then sent that Hodl to a local wallet and re-locked it for a year. Everything went very smooth so if you're looking to buy/sell be sure and get over to CoinExchange.IO P.S. I like a security feature they have there so when you initiate a transfer to withdraw funds they send you an email with a verification link that must be completed before the transaction will proceed. Pretty cool! HOdl on to your dreams. |
