961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Simple idea on: November 24, 2019, 02:58:09 AM
Hi fellas, i want to drop this info mainly for newbies on this forum that just start getting familiar with crypto wallets, i was waiting for some tokens to get delivered into my coinomi wallet since a month ago but they never appeared but the projects teams claim its been sent but guess what? i decided to track my address last night using Etherscan and i saw all the tokens there, sometimes your tokens might have arrived in your wallet but you won't know until you track your wallet address or you manually add token contract address, thank you.
we will never get a notification whether the token has been sent or not. we do have to check it manually with etherscan and can also add smart contracts from tokens that we will receive. there will also be a history of transactions that occur during this time period. to check tokens that have been listed in the market exchange or not, we can also check them manually using the smart contract tokens on the exchanger that have been listed by the team. but if the team has indeed provided information about launching tokens to the market exchange, it means that we can already trade or withdraw.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless altcoins must remove from the whole crypto market on: November 24, 2019, 02:48:40 AM
altcoin whose value is less than $ 0.000001 should indeed be removed from the market. besides they make the market into many coins, their presence there is also in very difficult conditions. their value will only be stuck there, and will tend to fall even further. than that it continues, it's better to just disappear, or make a new development under the name of a new coin or with the same name but with a new idea to make its value better in the market.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Flow Blockchain on: November 23, 2019, 07:07:31 AM
I've been waiting for this, but i am still not sure how the token distribution happens. Do we just have to mine this or will the investors sell premined tokens or something like that?
I also think so, in the article stating that every node stores the entire state (account balances, smart contract code, etc. while in flow they state that they separate the way they all work so that everything runs optimally, will run more optimally or even more difficult to developed? to be honest, I'm still a little doubtful for that.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JuSt a wish on: November 23, 2019, 06:50:12 AM
This is just if, new projects are finding it hard to list on top exchanges because of listing funds but since market is not in a good season why is top exchange listing fee still that high? Top exchanges are not making it easy for new projects to list on their exchanges or am i missing some good information?

And about binance IEO is there anyone on here who can tell me more about them? i mean if a project like eminer can conduct IEO on binance why can't others? is there some kind of agreement like taking IEO fundraising fee after IEO is successful?

Damn i wish new projects can just have their chances as well, now that bitcoin is losing its value things are getting more harder for new projects
Exchangers certainly do not want to lose and bear the risk of everything that happens in the market. whether the market is down or up, then the fee set is that much. when the market falls and some coins or tokens have no value, they will never even reduce the fee. if the value goes up, it is possible to increase the fee. exchangers here are as a place of exchange, and the place of exchange will not care about what is happening in the market today, as with shops, taxes will still be withdrawn so much, no matter the price of goods sold at the store goes up or not, crowded buyer or not.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why i prefer mining and investing in ICO/IEO on: November 23, 2019, 06:40:07 AM
Reasons why i prefer mining coins than investing a dime on IEO/ICO projects
1. My profits is assured.
I dont have to wait for a project to do x3 or whatsoever to get profits on my invested cash, with better mining rigs and good calculator you will know when your ROI will come.

2. No worries of getting scammed
I dont have to investigate an exchange before investing or wasting time doing research on projects before investing, all i do is mine ETH and sell for fiat or decides to hold for a little while.

it's true, everything will be instant entry into the wallet then we can immediately sell it. it is very different from investing in coins or ico, because we definitely have to wait for the value of the coin to rise from our initial purchase price to get a profit. but have you ever calculated the calculation starting from the price of the device you use for minning, and the cost of electricity bills during your minning, and also the maintenance of your device, can you already profit from the results of the minning you get?
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: November 23, 2019, 06:29:51 AM
Few of my colleagues told me they quit bounty because many new projects are finding it very difficult to reach soft cap and those who manages to reach softcap ends up listing on ridiculous exchanges because of listing fee, a part of me feels like they are right because if a new project fails to aim for top exchange its game over,  the question now is why promoting new projects then?
the hope is of course getting maximum results, because before that it went well and there were no problems about the exchange, fees, or low prices. At this time the altcoin season is falling, coupled with the sinking of ico / ieo, making it clear that 2019 is a failed year. 2020 will remain like this if our attitude is still the same, which is passive towards the market. I mean to make the market always grow, be it ico or coin, it must always be active in its trading volume.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Payment system | Wallet to wallet transfer | Your opinion on our features on: November 22, 2019, 02:44:06 PM
Hello, we are building a wallet to wallet payment system which enables transfer from one user to the other easily. You would be able to fund the wallet with lots of options, some of them are below;

1) Any cryptocurrency
2) Bank transfer
3) International Bank wire
4) Other electronic payment options (Paypal, Skrill, Perfect Money, Paysafecard, e.t.c)

does this mean we can buy crypto using paypal? if possible, this will be a good wallet, I'm very interested. this will make it easier for us, because there is no need for credit cards or long verification when you want to buy or initial deposit for crypto assets. enough by using paypal I think it will be a very easy and simple way.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: November 22, 2019, 02:31:15 PM
Looking at the market dominance, bitcoin covers almost 70.5% of the market trade as of time of writing. there is the need for altcoin recovery or it might spell doom for investors. i.e, people invest today on a new project and sell off tomorrow.
According to a wall street executive, Max keiser, he strongly believed that altcoins has reached there dead end and advised that everyone should focus on bitcoin. considering the fact that bitcoin is limited. there is the need for altcoins as the name implies, Alternative coins.

What is your say on this.
that is the root of the problem, investors buy when the project runs, then immediately sell it later, after that do not buy again. it will make a coin die, because of what? there is no transaction at all on the coin, meaning there is no activity in everything, namely the market cap, trading volume, and also transactions, supply circulation is also not moving. the fault of the team is, they only focus on the price, so when everything is going according to plan, their coins will be abandoned because there is no significant long-term effect.

in fact if the team is more observant in managing a project, they should focus on how people want to buy or at least make transactions using their coins. I think the price is low, because the price can go up when the transaction is crowded. don't focus on price and exchangers, but start focusing on people's interest in altcoin, then altcoin will never die, it can even compete with bitcoin.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking answers can help on: November 22, 2019, 12:14:27 AM
To all newbies like myself on this forum, you never know what you are missing if you are not visiting scam accusation thread regularly on this forum, this board right here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Can safe you lot of headache when you are still trying to invest on a project but you aren't sure yet whether to invest or not due to lack of solid information or

You haven't decide on which bounty project to promote yet, some members are very good at detecting scam projects and from time to time they always reveal fake/scam projects on the board, make sure you seek for better info before making any decisions, seeking answers can help.
I personally still often have trouble finding ico / ieo that is good and not deceptive. I often get stuck with the allocation of rewards to be distributed and also the distribution of stake every week. I just thought about it and didn't know whether the bounty would eventually pay or not. it will make you very sorry, and I can't even end it all. but there is one way that you can do, that is look for it in a trusted bounty platform, even though in the end it is not a big success, at least you still get a reward even at a very low price.

we all certainly hope that all bounties are good and there are no scams, so we can freely join any project without having to do special research.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best investment in crypto since 2018 on: November 22, 2019, 12:00:53 AM
Hello Bitcointalkers,
What is your best investment in the crypto space since 2018? As the 2019 year is ending, so, we can have a discussion about it. For me, my best investment was the Counting House ICO in 2018. The sale price was 1100 CHT token for 1 Ethereum and later it's price hit more than 3 USD per coin. I am still finding a project like Counting House, but haven't seen yet.
it was a successful project, friend, 3 usd for 1 coin was an extraordinary achievement from the project. From 2018 until now I have never even found a project whose token price could reach more than 0.0001 USD. all the tokens that I hold at this time the price is very low, and I consider the value the best because there are still many that have not been released to the market exhange which means the value is precisely 0.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have a 12 word seed phrase that appears to be wrong (Ethereum) on: November 21, 2019, 12:19:44 PM
Did you download the correct link for metamask? I'm thinking is that you might have downloaded the fake version of metamask and the seed that was given to you is also known by the creator of it. Which means that after seeing that you have sent ETH to it, they've sweep your balance.

lol READ what he said...   omg
he MADE an ETH addy, SENT 12 ETH to it, then wrote down the seed words
NOW hes trying to restore it, but it wont take the seed...        he says nothing about being robbed... now if he said "the ETH was transferred OUT", you might be right, but he didnt

@OP, theres no way for me to know from what u have said if i would be helping you jack someone (maybe you stole those seed words?) so i wont suggest how to solve this
imo, next time save a priv key Wink put it in a text file and encrypt that text file. problem solved

972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Create a Cryptocurrency in 2019? on: November 21, 2019, 11:36:41 AM
Original Post: https://bitflate.org/post/2019/11/20/why-create-a-cryptocurrency-in-2019.html

Bitflate is a cryptocurrency with constant inflation of 7% per year.

It’s 2019. I’m pitching my idea of Bitflate, a cryptocurrency with constant inflation. I’ve got a lot of NO feedback. Investors tell me the age of tokens has passed. We don’t need more tokens. Crypto enthusiasts tell me I’m just forking Bitcoin. It’s been done so many times. There’s no new innovation.

Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency. Ethereum is the king of token platform. Bitcoin has sidechain, Lightning Network. Ethereum has programmable blockchain. Everyone should start building on top of these platforms. We don’t need to reinvent the wheel.

We don’t have the platforms we need

We have many platforms. I’m most familiar with Bitcoin and Ethereum. Their economics operate under the same assumption: limited supply. Supporters of these platforms value this property. Price rise is a big incentive to motivate communities. At market level, we can see token growth as a kind of inflation. As more projects launch, people have more tokens to choose. In 2019, the prevailing view is we have too many tokens. We need to innovate the technology. High profile investors continue to put money behind projects that experiment with technology.

I’m a software engineer. I have seen smart and innovative technology in crypto market. In Bitcoin, we have Lightning Network for scaling, sidechain for launching derivatives. In Ethereum, we now have solutions building 3-4 layers on top of the main chain. There are other platforms improving components of Bitcoin and Ethereums.

I have come to the conclusion that technology is not the problem, at least right now. We have enough technology to solve any problem in the next 5-10 years. We don’t need more solutions to solve imaginary problems. The real problem is our base layer is missing some economics.

Bitcoin strength and weakness: limited supply

Bitcoin has successfully bootstrapped using limited supply. Its limited supply and halving increase market price. I think Bitcoin would not survive if it didn’t have this property. There is economic and social movement built around Bitcoin. People promise liberation from the existing monetary system. Despite of the hype, the main use case of Bitcoin remains Store of Value. It remains and likely continues to be a speculative asset. With Bitcoin, we HODL. The feature that defines Bitcoin hinders its adoption. Its strength is also its weakness.

Ethereum and other tokens face the same challenge. People in crypto don’t recognize this. If users don’t make transactions with tokens, there is no point building layers on top.

Experiment with monetary policy

I’m making the case for new experiment with monetary policy. With Bitcoin, we already solved the Store of Value use case. But we need to rethink limited supply. The world needs more than Store of Value. Life isn’t just work and stash. Crypto needs to grow up and accept reality. We need to stop preaching a limited supply money future. We need to create a cryptocurrency that people want to use.

The missing platform: cryptocurrency with constant inflation

Bitflate is a cryptocurrency with constant inflation. It is experimental. My experiment is simple. I take what is working in Bitcoin and change monetary policy. I think it has the technology we need. Bitflate does reward halving until the 4th halving. Then it starts inflation of 7%. The reward schedule is as follows:

0: 50 (supply: 10 million)
1: 25 (supply: 15 million)
2: 12.5
3: 6.25 (end of halving)
4: 6.56 (start of inflation 7%)
5: 7.02
6: 7.51
7: 8.04
8: 8.60
9: 9.20
10: 9.85 (supply: 31 million)

Other tokens have constant tail emission. Bitflate has a percentage, exponential increase. Even with 7% inflation, Bitflate supply is still limited. This is an incentive for early adopters to acquire Bitflate tokens. I think an inflating crypto has different economics. It discourages HODL. It’s not a long-term Store of Value. When people transact more often, we will see crypto moving. The market needs an inflating cryptocurrency. This is why I create a cryptocurrency in 2019.

amazing, very good post. I just learned that this crypto system should we often have to make transactions so that the value of crypto continues to move, and if we just keep quiet then the value will be silent. it makes perfect sense and the problem of limited supply can be overcome immediately. by doing transactions every day then we will keep the crypto value moving and when the supply finally runs out, there must be a new crypto for its successor, and it must continue not to be stopped.

I am now able to draw the conclusion that the failure of ICO which has launched its token to the market exchange which then lost its value must have been caused by no transaction at all. all token holders only wait and wait, while if we are silent then the token or coin will not experience any movement at all. Your steps are very innovative, this should be appreciated and should be done by everyone so that everyone no longer waits for long-term HODL. but trade every day and keep the market moving so crypto values continue to move up.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: November 21, 2019, 11:25:48 AM
Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?
in fact the idea had already appeared in the middle of 2018 ago, when ico was felt to be running bad. many of which suggest payment should use etherum instead, instead of using tokens that remain under etherum as smart contracts. but there are a number of reasons why the project team continues to insist on using their own tokens, namely they want to have their own tokens as a symbol of their team's identity, and if success and value go up in the market, they will be proud. if you use etherum, it's just the same as they just develop a project and pay for it using etherum regardless of what tokens they will make for their own projects.

but if it continues like this, indeed payments using usd, btc or etherum are indeed a shortcut for bounty hunters to get their justice.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Ethereum survive below 0.02 BTC per coin? on: November 21, 2019, 12:33:59 AM
As we all know, the exchange rate of Ethereum has fallen during the past few months (vs BTC). From around 0.035 BTC per coin six months back, the prices have fallen to 0.0205 BTC as of now. The market share of Ethereum in the cryptocurrency market has fallen from 11.5% to 8.3% during the same period. Other alts have also fallen, but not by this much.

And this has happened despite the boost it received from the IEOs. Can ETH manage a comeback anytime soon? Will the investors stop selling their ETH holdings for BTC, and hold on to the coin?
not only etherum, bitcoin is still experiencing a decline this week. so in essence it is not only etherum that has decreased. The market is currently in a down period, because when there is an increase, it will definitely go down again soon. if the market is in an upward period, then the significant increase will continue and reach its peak. this is not something to worry about and etherum can certainly survive.
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest Way to Make Money with Crypto? on: November 21, 2019, 12:01:54 AM
in my opinion right now minning is not the right way to produce crypto. first the price of the equipment needed for minning is very expensive, then the cost of electricity bills is also expensive, besides the use of electricity that is too large is not good for environmental health. besides hodl (long / short term investment), trading, bounties are still valuable to make profits from the crypto industry.

977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: November 20, 2019, 01:39:30 PM
if the market does not go up, and the project has not improved, 2020 will worsen. the project has been so bad for 1 year and everyone is lazy. the market also doesn't go up high. we know everything needs a process, but if the signs aren't visible from now on, how can we see good things in the future?

my expectations are of course everything can improve again, although it does not rise high, but at least everything can be improved. starting from the market, and also ico or ieo projects that can be the foundation for finding profit.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 20, 2019, 01:14:49 PM
no, actually hodl is the most appropriate way when dealing with a market situation like this. indeed very long, it has been almost 1 year the market has not gone up and the hodl from the beginning of 2018 must have been disappointed. but it's not stupid, but a very positive thing, it's better hodl than cut loss.

Hi guys

We would like to ask your help by filling out this brief questionnaire regarding your priorities when investing in Crypto.

In the end we would like to use this information to help us shape an Alt coin offering. You can fill it out anonymously or leave your email if you would like more information once the project comes closer to fruition.

the questionnaire is good, and in my opinion among all the categories you listed there is very important and can help your team to develop better projects.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a Developer To Take Over a Dead Project on: November 20, 2019, 12:18:01 AM
how will you wake up a dead project? This is a difficult thing, when you want to re-awaken a dead project, whereas the problem of the dead project is mostly because the token is not on target. when the token is launched into the market and the value is very low, it is also caused by a few demands, because the journey of the project is difficult to accept. I think it's hard, but I agree with your plan to save a dead project and turn it into a valuable token.

I am also happy to be able to discuss with you ......
