961  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Idea of exchange platform on: August 04, 2019, 06:47:53 PM
As big and as good as any ideas you have to help an exchange, I don't think they will listen to you. Well because they already have their own team that handles the ideas that will be developed. Maybe you have a good idea for an exchange, but whether your idea is in sync with the development of previous exchanges. So I mean, you might think that your idea is the best, but you don't know what is developed behind that exchange.

I am quite appreciative of your thoughts that are critical enough to produce extraordinary ideas, but unfortunately you only have a small chance to get the attention of developers. Why don't you offer your idea in the service thread, there might be investors interested in working with you.
962  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is professional way to follow news correctly on: August 04, 2019, 01:59:02 PM
There are many top exchanges, you can see it on coin marketcap. Then choose some exchanges that you like, after that activate the news notification or subscribe to their email, usually when you register will be given this option. Follow all their social media by activating notifications in every news, I think this method is quite simple and easy to do.

This is what I do, but sometimes I read the news of some coins that will be listed on several exchanges. Then gives an alarm to remind you of the day when the initial trade was opened for that coin.
963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 04, 2019, 12:59:19 PM
It is all about that feeling when you hit the special number. People feel special when they hit the jackpot. Buying stocks and watching charts are boring stuff for them. I never see the logic in their actions as well but I somehow understand it. If you played any RPG games where you need to gear your character up, you would understand, the feeling is pretty close. I still remember how It felt when a good unique item gets dropped in diabloII.

That's also one of them, but people choose the lottery because they can buy tickets at a cheaper price than gambling. Of course, with their great hopes that will get the jackpot, they always hope at the jackpot because the prize is very large. Not only that, people play the lottery because they feel hopeless with gambling, well playing gambling will produce more losses and chase losses.

According to them gambling is very annoying right, where they will continue to pursue losses and increase their losses. And that's what I feel when playing gambling, this is not a matter of not having the best strategy. But I don't think there is a best strategy that will always win 100%, there are times when the best strategy is not in luck anymore.
964  Economy / Economics / Re: buying bitcoin is like immigrating to a new country on: August 04, 2019, 08:16:18 AM
If whales are planning and that in the future, i'm sure the price would plummet hard but why would they do that?
What's the point of holding a bag of coins if there's no value at all?
I'm pretty sure whales aren't planning like that if they want to circulate the money then they will have to circulate their Bitcoins too, somehow.

I too think that dumping big amounts by whales is a very unlikely scenario. I mean, even if one of them decided to do that, others would quickly buy up his selling orders because they are not interested in the price plummeting.

To OP, maybe buying Bitcoin is like immigrating to a new country, but this new country is much better than the one you've been living in before. Anything can happen, right, but the probability of Bitcoin going to zero is extremely low. People moving from Congo to Germany don't expect to find the same situation there, and they are right.

Whale thinking in every country is different, just as the whale in country A wants prices to fall, but the whale in country B does not want that, then the whale of country B will immediately recover the price and this is where war the dumping and pumping between the whales, so prices will always be balanced and a little the possibility to fall to zero.

But on the other hand we also can not be confident that bitcoin will become zero, it could have been if all governments in the world banned the circulation of bitcoin. Maybe we can still trade with bitcoin, but we can't withdraw it because all crypto services will be banned by the government. That's when I think the value of bitcoin will be zero.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling affect your overall lifestyle? on: August 04, 2019, 05:51:41 AM
So far i've been playing for more than a year and i haven't been fallen to that kind of situation just like you OP. I am just playing gambling because i want to entertain myself and i like to socialize a little since my kind of work is kind of stressful. I always set my bankroll specifically gambling only whether i win or lose as long as i am contented with the company.

Sometimes it's hard to control once you felt that you aren't satisfied with what the result due to the unlucky days but i just take a deep breath and i call it a day.
Calling it a day thing would really be hard to be followed by most gamblers yet they would continue to chase up loses.Reactions or actions will depend on how you do look towards gambling.

If you do play for the sake of making money then actions like this would be definitely followed but when you do play for sake of entertainment then you wont really end up on having this situation.

Yeah right, most of us gamble because of money, actually they are not chasing defeat but rather chasing their money. And that doesn't happen when they lose, but when they win they still pursue it because they will still chase the money even if they win.

There may only be 1: 100 people who play gambling for entertainment and the rest are only for the pursuit of money. Sure enough, when a gamble for entertainment they will enjoy it more when gambling, because their minds will not be mixed emotions and tensions.
966  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or LTC ? on: August 04, 2019, 05:12:54 AM
For me, BTC is still quite potential if you buy it now and my target in September has been take profit. But because there is a good opportunity in this August, then I will try to buy both, of course halving ltc is enough to affect the price later.

And on the other hand I still hold BTC until next month maybe, I'm sure BTC will also increase again. I am still waiting to see if BTC will breakout or bounce back within the next week. Because the BTC is now in a resistant area.

For LTC : https://www.newsbtc.com/2019/08/03/as-litecoin-halving-nears-analysts-fear-bearish-ltc-scenario-unfolding/
967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should we do ? on: August 04, 2019, 04:22:08 AM
I am not sure how the Indian government will be able to trace that you or any individual are still holding coins. Many will stay away for sure and sell their coins or crypto currency especially if they like to avoid any problems in the future and worse being jailed.

But the question here, is whether the Indian government have jailed already some individuals because of this reason? If not, I guess they will have difficulties in tracing those individuals who are still holding coins.

Maybe if they do not withdraw funds they cannot be tracked by the Indian government, the government has all the information from where their funds are obtained. If their funds are obtained from an crypto service or exchange, it means that the Indian government will suspect anyone involved in it. One of the right ways for me is to ask a friend from another country to withdraw our funds and then transfer them to our bank account, I think it can't be traced. Or better hold bitcoin for a long time and wait for the Indian government to remove the ban.
968  Economy / Economics / Re: thoughts on companies becoming too powerful? on: August 03, 2019, 03:55:03 PM
I don't think the government will disband the hectacorn company, a company as big as Facebook or Disney will be a new revenue for the country. They provide international services where all the money will go to that big company, indirectly there will be a flow of money coming from other countries to the countries of that two companies. Even the government should maintain and support companies like this, if they forbid maybe it will be a stupid government.

Broken up by the government? So you want someone more powerful to break them up? You see here is the main problem. Without even realizing you are being reliable on someone more powerful to disintegrate someone less powerful.
Facebook and Disney does not have any power over us. It is us who are giving them the power and it is us united who can take away everything from them. Image if everyone stopped using facebook. What do you think will happen to it?

Indeed we are giving power to both companies, but are we able to stop using the services of the two companies. Look at the many people in the world who depend on their services, they provide services with a win-win system. They need us and we need them, so even if you invite all people in the world not to use the services of the two companies, surely they will not care about you. Well that's because Facebook and Disney have had a big influence on the economy, not just the economy of their country but the world economy.
969  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Do Price trackers Help You Make a Trading Decision? on: August 03, 2019, 02:30:24 PM
The price tracker is important for a trader but the best price tracker is a chart, well the chart of the exchange itself. Usually you can see a chart of some exchanges on the tradingview.com site, there are crypto charts of some of the top crypto exchanges. The chart can not only see the last price, but the chart can see prices a few days before up to several years before, the function is almost the same as cmc, it's just more accurate because it is directly from the exchange where you trade.

For CMC, I usually only use to see the volume of several coins, CMC provides information on coins from several exchanges, so it is only my consideration to choose coins.
970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Inform Yourself? on: August 03, 2019, 01:56:57 PM
Nice source of information, we can really grab some information from them and use it to our advantage but we should not rely from them only. In my case, I also use my instinct and decide the best action after grabbing some useful information.

As the information from them are not 100% accurate and there are some of them are bias also like they are paid in order to published that information, so it's better to become wise to avoid any problem later.

Well, the list given by the OP above is only as an auxiliary tool for analysis. The rest is that we decide to take decisions from the final analysis results obtained. And for me the most accurate information is feedback from other users, someone's review is an important consideration for me because they have direct experience rather than information from a site that could have been paid information as you said.

972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is parlay an effective betting strategy? on: August 03, 2019, 11:40:59 AM
I think parlay is not for people who play it safe, if you do a parlay but the odds are still small, by playing safe like over 0.5 goals, then it's not a good thing. because the risk won't be equal to the profit you will get, at least I will parlay the odds around @5 and above, it will be better.
Parlay would be ideal for those who are risk takers and not those who play safe. Its the confidence that makes people bet parlays and if lucky win them. If your go for the higher number of bets in a parlay you are making it more prone to losses without any doubt. So a 5bet parlay can have a significant loss if you lose even just 2 of them.

Most gamblers like the risk though so they would without thinking anything more bet on those games that they feel confident about.

Non-parlay, parlay and martingale systems actually have a high risk. Anyone who starts gambling means they are ready to take risks, whatever system they use. And for me parlay are indeed quite ideal for gambling, but keep in mind that parlay will not be ideal with a high level because gambling will be more difficult than trading.

I myself usually use the parlay system up to level 2 only, when reaching level 2 I will return to the initial level and so on. Gambling is not a trade and the risk of gambling is far greater than trading so if you want to find it safe it is better to use a parlay system up to level 2 only.
973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for the Inexperienced Traders on: August 03, 2019, 10:52:08 AM
Thank you for the advice, in my opinion a lot of your words are correct, most new traders often trade every heart to get a lot of profit without having a lot of knowledge and end up losing
They should do both, a heart and knowledge, because with that, it means you are putting your love in trading and that will become your passion.

That is true but such way of thinking comes with experience. At the begininig many new traders make mistakes relying strictly on analisys, graphs and numbers without using their intuition or they are just too eager for profit not having enough information and knowledge. When they find right balance then usually comes success too but that takes time.

It's true, trading is not something that is only analyzed, but must have a soul as well. Just like a singer or declamator, they always recite poems with a feeling as if their souls blend with what they say. Not far from a trader, well traders must have a flow of feelings when trading, this is not lebay but this will make the soul of the trader confident and calm.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cosmos it is a Ethereum-killer? on: August 03, 2019, 09:14:32 AM
I think that this coin can become the top3 ecosystem in the  cryptocurrencyк world. Do you think this is possible? Now there are very few competitors for ATOM?I think that's alt it is the best  ever.
ATOM to the top!
This is possible although I don't hold ATOM but every coin that has the potential can be at its best rank even top 3. How it can be an Ethereum killer if you are just aiming for top 3 which belongs currently to XRP?

For me it is not possible to achieve by ATOM, I think ATOM is the same as other hype coin which will eventually become shitcoin. If you say it's possible for ATOM, at least you give a factual reason why it will happen? If I see it is not possible because the top 3 coins are not hype coins, they have an important role in the crypto industry and that is not owned by ATOM.
975  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bittrex scam they did not open my account 12,7 BTC ( 134.000 dolar ) on: August 03, 2019, 02:44:11 AM
You should describe all your problems here, so we can give advice or conclusions from the problems you face. I understand that Bittrex is one of the top exchanges, of course they are always being professional with their users, if you can't get your account now that means there are some problems with verifying your account and data. Well Bittrex always uses data verification every time there is a big problem, they make sure it's your real account.

I think they already ruined their reputation when they started to lock thousands of people out of their accounts before they wanted to become compliant enough to add actual fiat trading options.

It must be done bittrex because this exchange is domiciled in the US, where they must comply with all strict regulations issued by the US government. Anyone who cannot verify their original data will have their account locked, until they are able to verify validly. I don't consider this a scam, but it's about compliance with regulations in their country.
976  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the benefits of bitcoin to my country (Nigeria) economy?. on: August 02, 2019, 05:51:49 PM
I have a little knowledge of Nigeria, maybe I know that Nigeria is an oil-producing country. Not only that, I have also read that the economy in your country is quite advanced among other African countries and Nigeria in 2014 has been named the largest economy in Africa.

And what is familiar about Nigeria is its scam level, well your country is one of the biggest scam countries in the world. Sorry for that, it's not like I'm vilifying your country, but I'm talking about facts. But I am very sure that bitcoin will be a new land for nigeria citizens to earn income, because I know nigeria has a high level of internet users, I also often order services on some nigeria citizens.

I hope that with bitcoin, it will reduce the level of scammers in Nigeria because there will be more places to find new income that Nigerian citizens can find in bitcoin.

Bitcoin won't create jobs, won't create factories, will not make people smart, will not combat corruption, government's stupidity or anything.

Well maybe Lucius intention is to create a new way of making money where Nigerian citizens can trade in the bitcoin market with high volatility.

Maybe many people think that bitcoin won't have an impact on the country's economy, but for me bitcoin has an impact on my own economy. It's just that if everyone in a country knows bitcoin, it might have a big impact on that country. And I have read reviews about bitcoin from a number of forum members, that bitcoin has brought changes to their economy.

977  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bilaxy.com Exchange legit or not? on: August 02, 2019, 04:28:11 PM
From some of the reviews I read about bilaxy, many of them say that bilaxy is not trusted but not a few also say scam. But here I will not say a scam on this exchange because so far I have not found a thread of problems about bilaxy in this forum.

Well because I have never tried this exchange and have read a number of reviews on telegrams and websites, in my opinion it is better for you not to trade or use this exchange. When viewed from a number of website ratings, bilaxy exchanges have a low rating which means little user trust. There are still many better exchanges than this with high confidence and high volume.

They are also not selective in accepting new tokens on their exchange. If you see it being telegram, many have protested at this exchange because they accepted a scam project on their exchange list.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Birthday ETH on: August 02, 2019, 01:04:04 PM
Wow, I missed my favorite altcoin birthday, but I'm quite proud of this ethereum which has been the first altcoin for the past 4 years. And also many projects that develop their tokens with dApp services owned by ethereum. I know this is thanks to the efforts and hard work of the ethereum team and of course they are also proud of what they have developed so far. I hope ethereum will remain in its current position and further develop its services.

I didn't know about ETH in 2015 and haven't joined this forum yet, but I have read several articles about ETH's standing. I am very happy with many users and have achieved success.

I celebrate the 4th anniversary for ETH.

I was here during the release of ETH but the funny thing is me along with a lot of other people called it a scam. It was trading below a dollar for a long time.
Not trusting ETH was one of the largest mistake I've made. Though late, I ended up buying ETH for $33 and sold it just above $100, it was one of my best investment return.

Well that's how it is, they will believe in a coin when the coin goes up many times over, then they regret it. Certainly also like that now, who knows what coins will be the next ETH2, maybe the coin is being accused here now like ETH before, then they regret it again in the future like its past.

My most unforgettable stories is when I was at 11 years I always gambled with my friends through toss coins, then when I turned 14 years old I became addicted at Dice games and lucky 9 using card. I most often won in this games but when my parents discovered me that I'm doing this they've punished me and because of that I stopped playing with it.

Haha you are too extreme, gambling is not allowed for kids but you are instead playing gambling at 11 years old, it's still too early for kids. I myself played gambling when I was in high school, and even then because I tried and was curious about gambling games. At that time I was warned by my friend, not to play gambling because it can make our psychology addictive. And sure enough, I had become addicted at the time, addicted to winning when I won a lot and addicted to chasing losses when I lost. I thought I was very stupid, playing gambling when my thoughts were not fully mature.

increases or decreases that's up to the market to judge. There's plenty of coins out there that had halvening but still being dumped anyway. However this halving will create some kind of thoughts on so many people that Litecoin will become scarce due to the decreasing of block rewards.
But still, that doesn't necessarily guarantee the increase of price. If the coin has no demand then the halvening is as good as nothing.

Well, it's true because every halving will produce a reaction to sell on news to someone's mind. But from what I analyze the price of Litecoin will rise at halving this time. If we return to Litecoin's first halving in August 2016, we will be presented with a graph of litecoin increase for the past 3 months before halving plus then bitcoin also increases.

So I think litecoin this time will increase because the price of litecoin is also influenced by the price of bitcoin, and currently the bitcoin is in a bullish phase not quickly.
