Damn. I feel sorry for the people who gamble there.
9682  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unofficial Unmoderated bitwincasino.com thread on: October 21, 2013, 11:26:43 AM
They keep deleting my posts, which is very strange, because they said they wouldn't remove negative feedback Roll Eyes

You continue to spam the thread with posts on 'provable fairness'. I stated in my thread that, in my opinion, this concept is nothing more than a scam peddled by a few 'believers'. I stated that the discussion on it would end in my thread. You continued to spam. Your posts were deleted. Simple.
Lol whut? Spam? I just said that fair is not provably fair. That is all I said about that subject.
Provably fair a scam? Dafuck is wrong with you?

Heads or tails? What ill it be?
Is this one fair?  It seems a simple coin toss would be easy enough to program to be fair.

Or does it make sure the player loses if the casino has been unlucky recently?

All the games are fair.

The casino has a 98% payout, so for every 100 credits bet, 98 are put back into the prize pool.
Fair =/= provably fair. Can you prove that a game is fair?

Long live self moderated topics Grin What about the comment you made earlier about not deleting negative posts? Roll Eyes

A casino with a self moderated thread? I dislike that. I mean, now you can delete all the negative feedback.

Unlimited CPU usage or?
We currently use a PHP Script Time Execution cap of 30 seconds, however CPU usage itself is not limited.
Hmmm. So if, for example, I have 5000 unique visitors and when they visit a script is run to grab the balance of the faucet from a website (like blockexplorer.com) and it takes like 1 second to do so, that would be allowed?

Because if so, I would really consider hosting my website with you guys. But I would prefer to pay upfront for a whole year.

That would be perfectly fine. You can pay upfront if you want, just shoot us an email at admin (at) devthehost (dot) com.
I definitely will if my website gets disabled one more time.
I know that feel bro.
Sucks huh? But well, I can understand why they do that.

when does VirtualMiner pay out the prizes?
I think it's quite obvious:

Oh well when i return home i can post the 3 logs (BTC+LTC+XPM), but it's a "test run" i've used less than 1 btc.
Ah I see. No worries. Wink
9687  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [VirtualCoin.biz] Faucet manager on: October 21, 2013, 10:26:39 AM
My website is back up!

Restored

and just add a new feature that enable any users to communicate via email with the visiting faucet admin (where allowed)
and another icon ta quick enable/disable this faucet from your list
That is a great feature Grin I think I should create another e-mail address to separate hosting stuff and admin stuff Tongue

By the way, I decreased my payout, because I couldn't keep it up running with the BTC I get from ads. It's now between 50 and 1000 (or 150 and 3000 if you get the price win). I don't like doing it, but I had to, because I cannot keep putting in my own money. Sorry.
Request can still be done every hour.

Thank you.
I'm going to run another 24H test  Wink

Test is going very well :-)
Care to share the log? Grin

Well, you have access to the server seed, so you can know the rolls on beforehand... You could play and win whenever you want and that could be considered cheating - you would be cheating against the investors, not the players.

I'm not saying you are doing this, I'm just saying that would be the logical way to cheat in your position.

Yes, I can play and win whenever I want to.  JD isn't provably fair in the slightest for investors; they have to trust that I don't look at the seeds.

It *is* provably fair for the players, and I thought that's what we were talking about.  Some guy was angry that I had "cheated" him out of his bitcent, didn't understand or want to understand provable fairness, and was making a lot of noise about it.
This is why I don't ever want to do customer service.
+1. I prefer to code, give/sell it to someone and never ever look back at it.
9691  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What exchanges to include? on: October 20, 2013, 11:30:38 PM
Use BitCoinAverage's API. It gives the current price on all the big exchanges for a lot of currencies.

Example: https://api.bitcoinaverage.com/exchanges/EUR

Hello kylie.v,

We have decided to decline your loan, because you provide no collateral and have requested this exact loan from multiple people. You also have no trust rating or quality posts.
