981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] alcurEX Cryptocurrency Exchange on: March 27, 2014, 01:20:26 AM
What you think if we make micro giveaway on alcurEX for new customers on launch?
I think it would be great!

Are you considering the poloniex giveaway model or something different?
I don't think we have time to build so fancy system, but some way they will get coins.
Method is still open. We can use some system we already have, or make new system.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] alcurEX Cryptocurrency Exchange on: March 27, 2014, 01:15:21 AM
i still believe all beta testing should be fully public and transparent.
It will show that the exchange has nothing to hide and its operations can be scrutinised.
The crypto community believes in such actions.

I understand your point.

Reason I want small test with shareholders and technical people. Not with customers is:
I believe customers are not looking for testing mission, they are looking for good and safe place to deposit, trade, win Smiley and withdraw money.
Our mission is made that possible.
How the shareholder will be contacted for the beta testing ?
All who are interest to join in betatest, just send me personal message.
I will repply when we start.
No need to be shareholder. if you are interest to test it, is enaf.

A public beta test would be a huge step towards transparency.
You should really re-evaluate
We can make more public beta too, but first I think it's good we make one with small group.

985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - Mandatory wallet update! on: March 27, 2014, 12:36:50 AM
Devs need to recruit more coders to help them out with MRC. They don't have to add them to Alcurex but at least expand the MRC team

Why would they need coders?
They need promoters, marketing team who can introduce this coin to the world.
Without promotion any development is worth nothing.

Coders are the ppl that actually build/create the services that is used to promote. I have pleanty of ideas but I cant bring it to life because I don't have the skills to do it. If they add more devs to this team maybe the other devs would be more active then the current 2 we have now.
Coders, project managers, promoters, marketing team and ideas for mico are welcome.
There is plan to make dev group for micro where we can manage projects.
After alcurEX launch.

What you think if we make micro giveaway on alcurEX for new customers on launch?
Might be good timing?
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] alcurEX Cryptocurrency Exchange on: March 27, 2014, 12:26:18 AM
I will keep you update.
There is just nothing news today.
Site is almost ready for final test.

Excellent news, I'm available if you need any beta testers.
Yes. We will need.
If you are not sent yet, can you sent me personal message you are in beta, I will PM back to all beta testers, when we start.
I don't want to note beta launch in here public.

I think it's time to be more transparent:
You got 71 BTC which is 40,000$.
How do you plan to use this amount of money?
How much did you spend on the developing of the website?
How much did you invest on security?
How much do you plan to use for marketing?

I think it is best to use most of the money to make this exchange good as hell and popular because then you don't need to think about how to pay your bills.

I hope that you are having answers to this question. Do you plan to let the shareholder be part in this decision-making process?

thanks
70BTC is alot money, I agree.
We will get all information from company booking.
I will see that, and not bad idea if we publish it for all shareholders too.

10 sec to delete: IPO ends March 10th at 0:00 (GMT +0), which is only a few hours from now . With only this thread, the mrc thread its the least what can be done. Update your stuff.... give halibit access rights to do so or someone else.
Actually I got rights to edit this thread.
Sure I can remove that text, but I deside to use all my free time to make payment gateway contracts and talk with coders.
I will test to log with MCR account tomorrow and delete old info.
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BLTZ] [IPO Hybrid] BlitzCoin | proof of concept coin | pure speculative on: March 25, 2014, 03:00:38 PM
This coin is not so bad idea, but why there is:
"After mining for rewards the network will be secured with several CPU miners, enough to secure and insure transactions."
Why not POS?

I mean if you shut down your CPU rigs, this coin is dead.
Are you only who can mine that, or if anybody can mine, don't you think this coin will forked?
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] alcurEX Cryptocurrency Exchange on: March 25, 2014, 02:41:18 PM
Don't be so rush please  Smiley
Exchange coding is well.
First there will be typical coins for testing purpose and when voting is over, we will add more coins.

I hope we can offer USD market on the launch, but anyway it will be there very soon.

Okay. We changed it to 51%.

Thx you for stressing out the importance of having an unique percentage of premined coins.   Kiss

TLDR : We buying out this stupid election through international speculation
It will not very hard to evaluate how much voters will follow you  Cheesy

Why you don't make some new scam?
50% premine is so old.  Angry

That was funny part:
A few of us are who are sick of this political madness... lies, corruption  Cheesy

Maybe we need to make similar coin like USD. One DEV (FED) can mint as many coins want to, and then take it out of market when ever want to.

Simply understand the fact that nework hasrate only matters when someone is able to provide 51% (quickly).
1 MH/s is as secure as 1 GH/s when one algo is 1000 times harder than the other....

True, but that was not main topic of my post.

The 10000 to 1000 phase will be over in less than one year.

Lets simply say in a phase of 4 months all microcoin has been mined, and you can get very little amount via mining and pos only, apart from buying.

How fair is this compared to lets say Blackcoin, Mintcoin, Quark or some other new coins with block halving every 2days, or every block? Why is someone buying even these coins?
...Or USD  Cheesy

998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] alcurEX Cryptocurrency Exchange on: March 21, 2014, 01:05:39 PM

I wonder what would be the cost to insure our deposit? I was reading about Xapo.com online vault. They claim to be very secure (of course, like every other business!) but to truly inspire confidence, the bitcoins are insured. The annual cost to use the vault is 0.12%, but this include a full insurance. " The insurance is provided at no charge to Vault users and covers all incidents that are not caused by you. For example, the insurance covers attacks by hackers, theft by a Xapo employee, a break-in at the physical vault location, and our bankruptcy. In this event, any bitcoins you lose will be replaced by Xapo. "

May-be I am missing something there, but how could they reimburse anything in case of bankruptcy ?
They can't.
But this is great consept.
we can make insurance buffer based example with $, €, gold, silver, BTC, real estate.
But first we need more capital and start running  Wink
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] alcurEX Cryptocurrency Exchange on: March 21, 2014, 12:40:20 PM
I know there is many more potential coins which are not in votelist and every day there come few more.
But I can't update list, middle of the voting.
When we have new wote round, we can add more coins sure.

Ok thanks for your answer shango.
I really hope once there is usd/micro it will be another story   Smiley

It will.

No, it won't. Many coins are /usd and nobody cares.

This community is very strange and completely unrealistic, first it was alcurex opening "soon", then it was the block reward peak which was supposed to "boost" us, now it's back to alcurex and "...just wait and see". I don't even know how many people are posting here, I get the feeling it's just one guy with a bunch of sockpuppets. Where is alcurex? The dev actually switched countries just last week, there is no new demo of the exchange but still everybody is celebrating. I start to believe mrc is one big scam. I have absolutely no evidence proving otherwise.
How microcoin even can be scam? It is not premined or instamined.
Am I right, you jump in here from aurora coin thread  Cheesy
