Only 500 persons owns 36% of all bitcoins? come on thats a joke? i saw it in bitcoinrichlist. i wish i own those addresses lol.

I am not surprised to that at all.
IIRC, someone said in a post that Satoshi owns about 1/6 of all bitcoin.

he owns 1.5 million, so about 12.5% of them.. at least that we know off. the BTC has not moved in years though, so it doesn't seem like satoshi has swung with his assets.

We don't even know if Satoshi is still with us or not Tongue

991  Other / Meta / Re: Error: The last posting from your IP was less than 360 seconds ago on: December 01, 2013, 09:57:03 AM
Just get 15 activity, the time limit will then be somewhat like 75 seconds.

His posts are full of trolling and spam. Is this allowed on Bitcoin Talk?

you must love the hot seat?  Grin  lol

Apparently trolling and off-topic spam are against Bitcoin Talk rules.

All of his posts violate these rules. Why is he not banned?

Even if that account is banned, he will be backed with a new account.
993  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Not getting enough Hashrate. on: December 01, 2013, 09:52:26 AM
I have an i3-3220 processor which i am using for mining.
I know that you're supposed to use a GPU and all that. But currently i'm just trying it out before spending money.

I'm using CPUMiner, mining at middlecoin.com, 24 hours a day.

The problem is that i'm recieving very less hashrate.
This https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison points out that an i3 processor (which is actually a lower model than mine) recieves almost 8.5 MH/s and i receive about 5.5 KH/s on each thread that is about 27 KH/s in total. Why such a large difference?

What do i need to tweak? Is my program useless? Are the settings wrong? Is it problem with the pool?

You are mining scrypt coin.
The wiki is talking about bitcoin (sha256) mining speed.
994  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Account made in August. Posted once in August. Still can't post. on: December 01, 2013, 09:50:06 AM
The title says it all. I made this account in August and made a post. I've tried several times to post since then, but I always get the error that It has been less than six minutes since my last post, but that is obviously not the case. Maybe my post wasn't "substantial" enough according to the rules.

What am I doing wrong?

With under 15 activity, you will have a 360 second time limit between each post.
Also, after you login, you also need to wait 360 second to make a post.

997  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum client - it is safe ? What if servers crash ? on: December 01, 2013, 09:38:52 AM
Hello,

i have question about Electrum. I am using that and its really fast, but question is, what if Electrum servers crash. Will be my coins in safe, or i will lost them? I heard, Electrum is offline client which only connects to server with blockchain, nothing more, but if i donīt need backup my Wallet, how i will restore wallet if servers crash? I know its very unlikely, but what IF? Is there any way how to backup Electrum Wallet?

Thanks

When you first setup your wallet, you are given a seed, and you can recover everything from it.

Even if Electrum dies one day, you can still export your private keys, and import them to bitcoin-qt or any other wallet.
998  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did I made/making a mistake? on: December 01, 2013, 09:33:37 AM
That's quite an investment without knowing if it will pay off!  Shocked

I agree with LeafMiner, it might be better to dump the equipment soon before it really loses a lot of value. Selling them "new in box" before you use the block erupters might even mean you could sell them individually for near new price.

You could mine other altcoins, but it'd *really* be a gamble that they'd ever increase in value enough to make it worth it.

Regarding, altcoins what are my best options ?

Yup, mine the alt-coins, and trade it back to bitcoin.
