Can we start by you reducing the size of your image?

I believe 80% of the things in this thread can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=help;page=index

For newbies that are interested in the forum they might be able to get the info themselves but those that are lazy and want to be spoon fed with all information then this thread will help them.

If this is the first forum of a newbie this post is worth reading, good tutorial with images although the screenshots are not properly configured he could have cropped it properly and only screenshot the highlights like the one below.

But still a good tutorial.

983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity? on: October 24, 2023, 10:59:49 PM
As for my research, the term illicit generally refers to something that is not legally permitted. Gambling, in many jurisdictions, is not an illicit activity as long as it is regulated by the government or other authorized bodies. However, unregulated or unauthorized gambling can be considered illicit. Here in our country, for example, gambling isn’t entirely illegal. There are forms of gambling that are authorized by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). However, any form of gambling not authorized by PAGCOR is considered illegal. Laws such as Republic Act (R.A) 9287 denounce illegal number games and serve as the country’s law against illicit online gambling.

https://justicesnows.com/illegal-gambling-in-philippines/

I remember online cock fighting was then legal in our country it was so popular and it was so new to the masses that those who are into arena cockfighting become its followers and players but compared to cockpit cock fighting there is a time limit and there's allowed days to hold cockfighting compared to online cockfighting where you can do it 24/7 and because of this so many players lose their money, became compulsive gamblers, cockfighting was ordered to be stopped even though it's bringing millions of pesos to the government every month, so from being legal because it was regulated and was licensed by the government it becomes an illicit activity.

So the government is the one who defines what is legal and illicit activity what is legal now in your country could become illegal and considered illicit activity based on how your government defines it.

I don't totally believe in Wikipedia because all entries on their page are editable and those who contributed may not know all the facts about a given subject, so when it comes to what is illicit and what is not, check how your government defines it based on their by-laws.

984  Economy / Economics / Re: Help me analyze the feasibility of this business idea on: October 24, 2023, 09:28:05 PM
I'm looking at the possibility of doing a teaching job which is what I'm passionate about and use my remaining free time to focus on my crypto and other online stuff that I'm into. My issue with this is that some schools can be engaging and might not give me breathing space to face other stuff.

You mention some schools then there are other schools that will not demand more time so you can focus on your other so why not look for other schools that are not time demanding I'm sure there are, so you can find time to focus on your online and Crypto stuff, teaching is your passion and Crypto is your interest if you have the right time management you can do both, we have other members with offline job here but they can still manage

2. The other option I'm also considering is that, since I have basic experience in graphics, and also have little tech knowledge, I can start up a computer institute where I will focus on training young teenagers on the foundation of basic computer operation, graphics, some tech-related course and also use the working environment to conduct private lesson for them. My issue with this option is that there are people already using their cafe for computer training in the area where I intend to start this business so my fear is how best I can manage the competition although I have a unique idea that is different from what those existing cafes are doing.

If your idea is unique then people will go to you, there's always competition in every industry and interest, competitions are here to challenge us make us better, and improve. If your idea is really that good and unique I don't think you will have a problem with your plan, people love and support unique ideas
I did not pick any of the two options you presented it's you who should pick what's best and suited for you because, at the end of the day, you should do what you love doing.
985  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Smashy.gg - Decentralized Solana Casino on: October 24, 2023, 04:12:19 PM

Its simply annoying, ask questions about the website not about things that are clear as daylight.
I know you are posting here because you earn money per post but please try to make sense of your posts.

Do check all my posts if it's spamming I would like to remind you this is a forum and we are two people asking you're the one starting a nonsense drama all you have to do is just say yes we own all these websites and we move on if you don't want to answer then say so, I will even congratulate you for having so many sites to promote.
986  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Smashy.gg - Decentralized Solana Casino on: October 24, 2023, 04:03:39 PM
Is there any direct connection with Bitpr0? Why they are promoted on the site?

This is a valid question you have been announcing a lot of platforms but you're not stating your role on these platforms this is kind of risky for you as you do not have a disclaimer on all your announcements, if any of the projects you announced here face an issue people will think that you have a direct contact or one of the owners of the platform.
I'm quoting our quotes because I believe this is an important and valid question, I'm checking if I missed your answer to our queries or if you intentionally skipped it but I still want a confirmation of your role on Smashy.gg

You have been announcing a lot of platforms without putting in a disclaimer on what's your role on the platforms this could put you a risk if there are complaints people might think that you are the developer or part owner of the platforms, so it is better to lay out your card for every platform that you are going to introduce or have introduced here.

Why should it matter if we have multiple websites like a crypto directory and a decentralized gambling site, how should that be an issue could you please explain?

Obviously its all our websites....  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked

How is it risky? Please explain.

I'm surprised by the answer all we ask is your role there's no malice in that you just put it or think there is malice if it is all your website then so be it we move on there's no need to explain why I'm asking because it's a legit question if you have nothing to be guilty about so if ever there is an issue then people know who will they approach, we are two people asking and so people will know.

Thank you for the explanation. I wanted to know whether both are from the same company or they are independent.

Being a member of this Forum, what are the things that you can say YOU have done for the growth of this Forum aside from posting (which is normal) or fishing out scammers/hackers.
This is a discussion community everyone here has a contribution in one way or the other, the growth of this forum is a cumulative effort of the community, even newbies have contributions, without them asking about a subject, there would be no discussion to explore.

Quote
I'd like to know because we do have members that have the title (if I should call it a title) PROMINENT dancing by their name, and I just wonder.
What have they done to own that title?
Is it that they have contributed much on this Forum? What have they done or how can we tell what they have done?
There are members who extend more on their contribution these are knowledgeable people who contributed a lot on specific subjects, they go further by doing research so they can come out with the best possible answer, thus making them prominent members of the community, honestly for me, rank is not the parameters for becoming prominent members there are members I admire that are lower ranks but their contributions are enough to consider them prominent.
988  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Si Satoshi Nakamoto nga ba ito? on: October 24, 2023, 02:55:37 PM
Isa pa may community note na from X na the account is portraying to be someone they are not.
mag claim bilang the creator/founder ng Bitcoin tapos walang ibang details?obvious na for pumping purpose lang to eh.

989  Other / Archival / Re: delete my account on: October 24, 2023, 11:45:58 AM
Please delete my account, the button doesn't want to work.

There is no button to delete your account the only one who has that privilege is the administrator, just abandon your account, there are so many accounts that were abandoned here, maybe you have a change of mind and eventually come back, based on your number of posts, you have nothing to left here only 4 posts with no merits.
Maybe one-day Theymos will do a clean-up on this forum and he will delete abandoned newbies first.
990  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Scam/Phishing Avalaunch Website on: October 24, 2023, 09:52:42 AM
Most of these phishing sites have unpopular domain extensions because on popular domain registrars, you can buy bulk domains at a very cheap price, especially on their anniversary sale, there are domain registrars that have extensions that offer $2 or even lower

The creators are developers and coders and it's easy for them because it's an automated smart contract script, all the victim will do is connect their wallet and they can employ their scheme, it's very easy for them and these hackers' scheme thrives on victims' ignorance.
This means that for around $50, these scammers can create dozens of domains and place their script for the automated smart contract on an HTML template that mimics the basic interface of the original domain for any project or platform. They promote their poor tricks on social media in the hope of trapping a victim with limited experience. And they steal and deplete his wallet assets, which will compensate them for the few dollars it costs them to create their phishing sites.
Without naming the domain registrar as I don't want to give hackers and scammers a tip, you can buy a domain extension for as little as $2, so yes $50 will give you not only a dozen but more than 2 dozen new domains It is not .com or TLD top-level domain but still popular domain extensions.

So, the solution, as mentioned by Hugeblack, is to educate beginners through information and advice adequately. If the protective measures are firmly embedded in their minds, they will be able to avoid any phishing websites they encounter. This is because there are countless phishing sites that cannot be counted.
That's the best solution, scammers will always scam and hackers will always scam so we should not stop educating people on how to stop these scammers and hackers, they keep innovating so we should always expose their schemes.
991  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $6,000 Stuck on Bitsar.com Exchange. Offering 30% reward for recovery on: October 24, 2023, 06:38:16 AM

It's like the exchange was abandoned by the owner. Bitsar doesn't update the social media or login on the Bitcointalk forum.

The $6,000 is now worth ~$9,000...  Undecided

I want to increase reward to 50% if anybody can contact this exchange owner

I don't know if someone here can help you it's your decision to increase the reward but I prefer or would suggest creating a flag against Bitsar and asking DTs to tag the account and preferably change the title where you include the word scam and take out the reward offer.

Based on our experiences those accused tend to address issues if they see their platform being accused of scam.

993  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ways to earn money in cryptocurrency? on: October 23, 2023, 11:50:47 PM

It would be a great help if any of you guys, would share some good ways to earn online money in BTC or in any token, not necessary to be from this forum but from other online platforms is also appreciate able, where we have to do some tasks (not surveys, they don't work here). I know my question might be off-topic, or might not be liked by most members, but still, I thought to create it, because many members have a lot of information, that they can share.

I am not being greedy or here for mainly money, simply asking community members to share their knowledge so we can help each other this topic will not only help me, but it will also help many. Please mention legit and those ways, that you have used for yourself and made a profit.

By asking this kind of question it's easy to figure out that rewards are out of the question and you will accept any advice regardless of the rewards, if this is so we have a dedicated section for this Micro Earnings its for you to figure out if it's worth your time and effort.

Another one is a writing site called Publish0X you can start from all the recommendations and platforms I mentioned and join at your own risk of course,  but if you want to really earn you have to upgrade yourself by learning skills.

Your skills and your customers' satisfaction are your roads to making a living or money here in the Cryptocurrency industry, and it's not too late to learn new skills as the industry is growing and there are always needs for freelancers and developers.

996  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Scam/Phishing Avalaunch Website on: October 23, 2023, 09:28:45 PM
Individual efforts to track phishing links will be futile. These scammers have armies of these sites and are ready to buy templates for their devices and prepare hundreds of sites daily, so focusing on how to verify these sites and teaching beginners how to avoid them is best.
Most of these phishing sites have unpopular domain extensions because on popular domain registrars, you can buy bulk domains at a very cheap price, especially on their anniversary sale, there are domain registrars that have extensions that offer $2 or even lower

I began to notice that a significant percentage of scam topics on this board were linked to phishing links.
The creators are developers and coders and it's easy for them because it's an automated smart contract script, all the victim will do is connect their wallet and they can employ their scheme, it's very easy for them and these hackers' scheme thrives on victims' ignorance.
997  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the need to be known a requirement to qualify for a loan(s)? on: October 23, 2023, 04:06:14 PM
I have come to realize that our traditional local banks only really give out loans to persons, or organizations that are known either online or offline and has a location with documents to proof their existence.
That's because they need a guarantee that the one asking for a loan has all the correct information and they know how and where to locate him in case he is defaulting, they even ask you for collaterals or proof of where you are working and for how long and do you own your own land, traditional banks are like this, there are lots of documentation involves and you need to provide guarantors or references with a good status in the community or business they are in.

Quote
Same goes for those who use loan apps. You have to at least identify with the verifications stressing on passport, state of residence, age, and the funny thing is that your device location will be required to be turned on while doing all this or even applying for the loan.
There's a lot of risk in asking for loan apps they are illegal here in our country because they are not regulated so in case you default on a loan they will threaten you and contact all your contacts and mess up your life.
Taking a loan is not easy you have to prove that you can pay and you will not default and they always have a counter in case you default on a loan, they are not in the loan business just to lose money.
