981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: August 29, 2017, 07:24:11 AM
I prefer to trade with profits that can be earned every day. If using a large capital gains are gained satisfactory.
As for holding I still can not analyze a coin that will rise in the future.
You are lucky if you are good at day trading. Many people fear day trading especially because they lose money usually here. Holding as comparatively is safer especially if you are holding bitcoins. Everyone knows that they do rise in value after every dump. I will prefer holding bitcoins than trading with them.
982  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When sell ETH for BTC? on: August 29, 2017, 06:16:53 AM
Why did you sell your ETH for BTC? ETH is about to pump in the next few weeks. I guess its from the ETH price 0.077BTC to 0.2BTC thats more than 2X. Then sell from the TOP. Now you have 2X more BTC.
I did not think so he did anything wrong. Eth is nothing as compared to bitcoins and selling them off for bitcoins is quite smart move. Even if the eth pumps in coming weeks, it will still be less in worth than bitcoins. It is never bad or regretful to invest into bitcoins especially with these altcoins.
Ethereum has a good feature and that is the smart contracts and because of that there is no escape for using ethereum as a fee and one of the primary coin to invest to different ICOs so i think ethereum is designed perfectly for our world while bitcoin only focus on payment system and i believe that these two can work together to come up with the best cryptocurrency for our world.
Yes! The combination of eth and bitcoins will be lethal for fiat and banks. No matter eth has good project but still we can’t give it edge over bitcoins. Bitcoins are serving all those purpose for years what eth ahs started doing few months ago. Bitcoins are leaders of the crypto world and we should never ever forget this fact.
983  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: August 28, 2017, 06:10:50 PM
Bitcoin has power because the financial industry is failing, or the systematic one we have had and instead virtual currency is arising and bound to take it over. I give it one century and the face of money as we know it will be changed.
That is one of the many reasons behind the empowerment of bitcoins. Bitcoins are providing people with all those things that they were demanding from governments and conventional currencies. The high market demand and support has made bitcoins so powerful that they are the best crypto currency now.
984  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: August 28, 2017, 05:40:27 PM
Let's say I have 2.1 BTC And I don't spend it. Will it go up a few cents if I save it? Cause in my wallet I have up to about 50 cents worth of bitcoin. I started up with 13 cents 7 months ago. Now all of sudden I have bitcoins worth 50 cents.
Wow, surprise surprise, you had 13 cents worth bitcoin, bitcoin price went up and now you have 50 cents worth bitcoins.
What do you call this?
I call it spamming forum with shitty threads.

Come on! That’s so unfair. The forum is providing you with profit and you calling it shitty instead of being thankful. It is not spammed, the prices of bitcoins rose so your coins also increase in worth. If you are not interested, then simply leave bitcoins and this forum. No one will stop you.
985  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: August 28, 2017, 05:09:45 PM
We should invest bitcoin because it is decentralized , more profitable than others cryptocurrencies and it is highly demand in the market. Many investors would invest bitcoin because of it's promising price and they can assure that their will be a big return from it.
The all factors you have mentioned have definitely made bitcoins worth big investments. There is nothing wrong in this fact that investors are turning towards bitcoins on large scale because they all know that bitcoins are so promising about producing nice returns.
986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: August 28, 2017, 04:43:31 PM
Bitcoin is computerized.noone can take it from you.and the price of bitcoin is so high. The other hand, gold is physical. it can not be used for any perpose of any time.people can take it from you.so,i think bitcoin is better than gold.
I bet hackers can take it from us if we have not taken some necessary steps in order to secure our wallets. It is very easy to secure your wallets. Bitcoin do not play with the safety of its holder’s life by keeping him anonymous while gold poses a great threat to its owner. Also, gold cannot be used as a currency like bitcoins and it’s not even decentralized. The price rises at a very slow rate.
987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have we underestimated Bitcoin? on: August 28, 2017, 03:27:48 PM
I don't know why some people view bitcoin as a pozi scheme, there is a far different between bitcoin and ponzi.
Bitcoin is a digital currency while ponzi is just a program that runs it activities with money. And until we understand this fact people will keep on selling there bitcoin as soon as they get it cause of the fair of losing they investment.
The best way is to study and understand it and keep drinking the old wine cause it tast the best.
If there exist such kind who thinks of Bitcoins as some ponzi scheme, they are the illiterate ones than. I would recommend them to Google their questions and clear their doubts before opening their mouths. If someone does not care about his loss then I would let him taste it.
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: August 27, 2017, 08:12:35 PM
Because, for instantaneous consideration, gambling is quicker to make money and even gives hope to get rich suddenly than any other activity that takes time and patience in management. Especially if gambling decorated with interesting things.
This feeling that often makes us wrong decision. Too focused to be able to find a victory so we forget our circumstances. Even when we fail and have lost a lot of money. These feelings can kill themselves and we should have good self-control in order to avoid a very strong addiction. All gamblers really hope that they have good emotional control.
But not all can have a good emotional control, a lot of addicted gamblers are out of control by playing gambling, they don't care if their mind control them, because that's what they wanted to do, and sometimes even if how scold that we do to them, they don't care and don't listen to it, as long as they want to gamble they just do it. Gambling is really addicted that many people can easily hooked in it, because it is really enjoyable and have a crazy stuff inside the casino which enjoys a lot of gamblers.
If anyone addicted to gambling means they are already out of control. When we lost control on our emotions, then it is confirmed that we are addicted. And yes the addicted gamblers will not care for anything for family and money. When they will lose everything that time only they will realise. Why this so addicting means here we get money and also entertainment.

Yeah, and a lot of addicted person are getting crazy with gambling if they are already addicted. It is really hard to control our emotions especially if we are already hooked with it, and it is really hard to control our ego especially for the boys out there. So they still continue to play until they don't get the victory that they wanted. But sadly, we cannot always get all what we wanted.
That’s pretty obvious! If someone is addicted, only then he will be crazy and make brainless moves. Gamblers must be aware of this fact beforehand; they will face defeat very often. This is how gambling world works so making it an ego issue is dumb act. Some people learn lessons through hard way.
989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Not Practical As a Currency? on: August 27, 2017, 05:59:22 PM
I just read this somewhere from a site that is also introducing its own version of cryptocurrency and they claimed to be combining the best of both worlds...that of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Anyway, let's give them the needed good luck in the sea of cryptocurrencies we already have.

Quote

Bitcoin is a digital currency, invented by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009, that is limited to just 21,000,000 units. As the price of bitcoin has risen, its use case has evolved from a currency into a store of value. It is no longer practical to use bitcoin to make every day purchases
.

There are two points presented here. One is that Bitcoin has already evolved from being a currency into a store of value (maybe just like the physical gold) and two that Bitcoin is not anymore practical to be used for day to day purchases (maybe because it is very volatile and hence people are becoming speculators with its value).

Any comment?

I don`t remember the time when it was "practical" to use bitcoin "for day to day purchases".It never was.
There aren`t thousands of merchants ,who accept bitcoin  payments for regular goods and services.Right now ,we can use bitcoin for only two things-investing and gambling, and this is OK for me.
I wish good luck to those altcoin creators.Perhaps they will create the best altcoin ever. Grin
Or maybe not....

Ha ha..But you must agree on this, now more services are available which accept bitcoins as their payment.
If you are gambling with BTCs, Man! You must be kidding me. I mean, it takes some guts to do that. It appears to me, you are wishing for altcoins so that you can gamble in it also.
990  Economy / Services / Re: No Need To Pay More| Unique Project Creator | Just in 0.2BTC | ESCROW Confirmed on: August 27, 2017, 01:48:12 PM
Don't trust this offer guys,OP is selling a fail/scam project. It's a 8 Ball Pool game but using real money instead of coins.OP made a signature compaign/translation compaign and then left it without any payments to his participants.
Here's his old project ICO website:http://ico.b8ball.net/;Again don't fall for it,you can clearly see from the website that it's a scam project.
Stop spreading your venom. The op does not say that he is selling the b8ball, so where did you find it in the first place that he is trying to sell his project ?
It's a different story that he failed in his project, but I would prefer to take it positively. Failures are the pillars of success, they say, and we could gain from his experience.
991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price point per BTC will it be too late for the average person on: August 27, 2017, 07:24:26 AM
We can say we ate still early adopters because bitcoin is still very young and there is still a lot of space for growth development and price wise. Like others said, there is nothing wrong in purchasing bitcoin in small amount until you got a whole one.
The current worth of bitcoins is a huge one but if we do its comparison with the price that it will acquire in future, we will feel it cheap at the moment. Though, some of us are late and it was not as expensive in the past as it is now. However, investing in bitcoins today will give tremendous profits tomorrow.
992  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: August 26, 2017, 04:44:57 PM
I never understand why people always force themselves to choose one thing to do, while they can do both mentioned options at the same time -- I haven't been doing anything other than that. I have a separate stash of coins that I won't be touching since this is my long term investment, and aside that I have a separate stash for trading purposes. It allows me to benefit from the long term, but at the same time also benefit from the heavy load of fluctuations that we experience. I am looking to maximize my potential results by doing this.
One should give a try to every single option. Basically these people are those who can’t manage so many things at a time and are kinds of easy going. It is nothing absurd to chose when option between trading and holding when you many other things to look after. By the way, choice varies from trader to trader.
993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LAT] LATIUM Token Sale is Open! on: August 25, 2017, 03:45:31 PM
I was among the ones who claimed Latium when it was firstly launched and claimed a lot of Latium and even remember they used to have a good referral level system. Hope this time around will be same too.
I am quite excited for the token sale and let's see if this time around it goes all good !
Am I missing something, It's not possible to go throgh all the epic pages this thread has reached, there as nothing which I found in the main op.
If there is any token sale recently, main op should be updated by the devs.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Mandarin - First Cryptocurrency Exchange controlled by the People on: August 25, 2017, 12:35:24 PM
What price for 1 token Mandarin? I dont understand Huh
Usually the price of the coin depends on the amount raised in the ICO since the number of coins are limited and if more people want a piece of it, it's costly and if less people are interested it is cheap. I like the idea of this coin to be honest but let's see how it unfolds.
995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Created Bitcoin ? on: August 25, 2017, 03:20:14 AM
I think the creator of bitcoin was created by a group of people. Let's try to think something like this, we called it Project Bitcoin and the core team called Satoshi Nakamoto. It may consist a team of programmers or developers, beta testers, QA analyst, Cyber security team for blockchain network, a group of finance support team and a group of computing power team and a group of social-media like forums. But one thing for sure about bitcoin there's something about military involvement behind it , maybe an experiment for decentralized monetary system but if something goes wrong they try to control it or abandon it and let the citizens do the work. This could be a conspiracy theories but whatever purpose it may serve we still have benefit from it or we may never know the greater impact it may lead to the future. As long as it is flowing through the internet stream anonymity was just a falsehood, but as long as we earned it and use it for a good purpose then let's hail the rise of bitcoin.
,as I have heard from someone that maybe Satoshi Nakamoto is just a screen name, and just like you I certainly believe that bitcoin is not only done by only one person, maybe it is his/her ideas but its really hard to guess if that is only one person behind this big success in bitcoin.
Nobody really knows the real inventor. Satoshi Nakamoto is the name which represents the group of its creators. Mike Hearn can be a help in this matter but I do not get the point in searching more about Satoshi.

I am very Ok with the present facts and I know everyone's knowledge is same as mine in this matter. If Satoshi really wants to stay low profile, then let it be this way.
I believe this guy’s name is not Satoshi Nakamoto, rather he used the name Satoshi Nakamoto as a code name to cover up his identity, so that no one knows him. I’ve seen many people being called they’re inventor of the digital currency due to their name being Nakamoto. But these people has luckily been able to escape from it or whatever problem it might cause mostly by the help of their lawyers. I believe the inventor of crypto currency is somewhere chilling with wife and kids, and living life peacefully.
996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are the forkers purposely trying to kill BTC? on: August 24, 2017, 08:42:43 PM
I think there are two groups of forkers:
Those who actually want to improve things, and those who see the fork as an option to make money.
For the second group, they do not care what the consequences for the whole cryptocurrency sector are.
Even if that would be the end of all crypto.

What you say here is exactly the problem. There are so many greedy people in crypto, and because it's unregulated by governments, they can do whatever they want within the current laws.

Look at all the scammy ICO's. People are loosing tons of money on shitcoins, and promises of greater things, and in the end there is only one winner. The team behind who is milking all the ICO money into their pockets!

As for bitcoin cash! they should have made a new altcoin with a new blockchain instead of trying to call themself bitcoin cash. They will never be bitcoin, they will always be "something"cash.
Yes, they’re purposely doing it. That’s what I believe. But, the main purpose of doing this is to maintain the Blockchain, though some people are having personal interest. Anyone with a plan to end Bitcoin, might be someone in support of an altcoin, which I know there are people with such purpose.
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] 🖧 Nexuga | The Powerful AI - ML Network| China based AI Chips Development on: August 23, 2017, 02:33:46 PM
This one seems interesting, I was thrown off when I saw the simple design but then I like the idea you have bedhind Nexuga. I see this as a serious investment opportunity not because of the fact that you are creating a AI governed smart contracts but rather because you guys have a transparent team and I can find easily if anything goes wrong.Looks promising but really early stage and keeping an eye on how the ICO follows.
998  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: August 22, 2017, 08:34:37 PM
For me dont quit becuase job is better than bitcoin. Yup bitcoin is volatile and its countinously to rise uou can earn money even if you are lying in your bed. so many people got interest this. But i think if u have a lot of bitcoins and you feeel that bitcoin will give you well profit . its up to you Smiley
Bitcoins are better! You do not need to follow anyone's orders and you can work according to your mood. However, it would be pathetic of a person if he is too lazy in earning bitcoins. In this case, he must be responsible to some extent. Best is to start your own business with the help of bitcoins.
999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: August 22, 2017, 07:27:06 PM
What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
because they know what will happens with bitcoin Grin
i have hold bitcoin too, but not much Grin
So i just can tell you, buy and hold bitcoin now and see in next 2-3 years Wink
He asked you a question and you made a mystery for him out of it. I hope OP has got your point but sometimes simpler is better.
The huge (I mean it) profits that they are gonna get in future is making people to hold their bitcoins instead of selling out now. Simple!
1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So I have BCC and BTC or what? on: August 22, 2017, 05:57:28 PM
Since the hard fork happened do I now have BCC and BTC? Are they both the same coin and I have a choice which one I want and there is a limited time? For awhile I thought that I have BTC and can transfer it over to BCC for a limited time or something like that. After doing some reading though it looks like I have the same amount of BCC as I do BTC and somehow they are stored separately. If it is the later I'd like to figure out how to see this. I'm kind of confused though so help me Bitcoin Community. Help me. Huh
Lol…you seem to be desperate over this. Before the event that took place on August 1st, we were all told to move our wallets to wallets that will accept both stocks (BTC & BCC/BCH), example Coinbase. Which some did. I never did, cause I wasn’t interested. But you can get Bitcoin Cash by backing up your Bitcoin in a different computer and then use the private key to import it to a BCC/BCH wallet.
