981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap's New Feature "Earn" on: September 15, 2020, 09:41:48 PM
Coinmarketcap is trying to keep up the pace with coingecko with most of the recent developments. I like the fact that the team understand competition and coinmarketcap has more traction as the early market chart but coingecko has more on cryptocurrency to relate with on their website. It could be distracting for anyone if binance chose to be bias on any project that appears on CMC.
982  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurency is real money real asset but why not insured? on: September 15, 2020, 08:59:39 PM
There are new projects on cryptocurrency that function to insure on the space, I feel they should not be in production of tokens, however am still waiting on the mass adoption. I still dont understand how they plan to insure a deregulated system. There could be chances on insurance for some project idea in space, project with substantial project with onground organization eg in energy, real estate etc
983  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: September 14, 2020, 08:33:37 PM
I like to know where the OP comes from, maybe he found the palliative too good to stop. Even in some countries that give out stipend base on some criteria of citizens, the stipend wont give the life the citizen want. Bitcoin is an investment but an asset class that produces the best return in short while. Some citizen are even investing their palliative into bitcoin while some spend all and looking for more, a successful habit will always demand delayed fun.
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC: Top DeFi Tokens by Market Capitalization on: September 14, 2020, 12:31:53 PM
The way 2020 ends with Defi could determine how the market will embrace it next year. Some this early project will still enjoy a greater profit and also expect some surprises. This will produce at least 1 to 3 project that will climb the marketcap to the top 10 and fund the next bull market after now. The fund from Defi still low compare to ICO, I also see many old project selling or dumping their project to get on Defi. Some crazy funds are coming in next year, something in hundred of millions, I am expecting the greediness and the massive profit in short time. Exchanges will get more busy
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC fined rapper T.I. for promoting a fraudulent ICO on: September 14, 2020, 12:14:20 PM
I dont know if the part was missing in the information or there was nothing at all on refunding the contributors to the ICO. Sometimes I think SEC are too selfish with the purchase of scam, they just slap the scammers with settle fund and forget those that were defrauded.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it getting late to buy crypto again? on: September 13, 2020, 11:24:24 AM
I noticed different disposition to price in cryptocurrency, for bitcoin, old altcoin and new altcoins. Bitcoin purchase below the ATH looks attractive to traders but can they have similar profit with ethereum? so this prompt a different strategy to acquire bitcoin from altcoin. Some old altcoin had lost the community because of the reduction in community and no development. On big exchanges like binance, the new coins with low market derive attention from both old traders and new investment. Investments in crypto is still viable with good strategy that change with market sentiments and developments
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH's fees on "De-Fi" platforms are ridiculously high on: September 13, 2020, 10:56:30 AM
With all the reaction on High ethereum transaction fee from Defi, there is still less adoption of Defi on other blockchain. Some of the Defi projects that plan to move to their platform or new blockchain are delaying because of the price movement as project on ethereum. Tron tried to attract traction with recent dump on ethereum but didnt last a week.
988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin so unstable? on: September 12, 2020, 08:58:23 PM
The other description for this instability is volatility. Gold is also volatile but it is minimal compare to bitcoin, Gold is also deregulated. Main factor for the volatility is the speculative market which is determined by the market demand and supply. It is a deregulated market that is manipulative, as a decentralized platform it gives chance to a lot of factors for manipulation. Some think the whales, exchanges , the cycle and tokenomics are responsible for the manipulation.
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do You think about YFI ? on: September 11, 2020, 09:06:20 AM
I think YFI has been hugely manipulated, otherwise you can't see such huge fluactuation of $38000 ATH from $35 within less than 2 months. It has got huge hype, I think It is way more over rated and should be avoided.
I will wait for another version of YFI, at this price it is too late for me to get on the train. My only fear for new YFI is scam, I believe some scammers will be looking in that direction. Copy the roadmap and whitepaper then adjust few things then through it. Defi are crazy lately, some dont even need investors, they can get going and make crazy profit for any holder. So eyes should be wide open
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: September 11, 2020, 08:50:09 AM
I missed the change to buy Ethereum at a low price point. Now I am doubting if I should buy Ethereum or wait for the price to drop. Most people in this forum believe Ethereum's price will rise, so I have to rethink my strategy.
my advice is better to wait because market conditions are still unstable up and down so fast wait for maximum drop happen to ethereum
then at that time you immediately buy
Do you expect anything stable to take decision on coins to hold or buy? whenever you consider the market stable it will either be so expensive or too late. Ethereum looks exciting at the moment and we still far from the major developments along the tokenomics. It is no doubt that ethereum will lead the bull market and might likely put more gainful for holders that bitcoin. More also I am watching the body language of the bitcoin maximalist, they are little quiet, which could give a signal of where to stay. My profit will always be taken in bitcoin for whichever way, it is always something to hold.
991  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump and Biden trading insults. Early vaccine adoption could be dangerous. on: September 10, 2020, 08:49:29 PM
America politics was not this bad until the recent Government, it looks crude to see the president  and aspirants trading with ugly words on the media, this are old men at over 70. They are the crop of oldest men that has aspired for such position in America, has they lost their culture and dignity. Russia has disappointed the rest of the world with the vaccine, at the moment it has only been tested with few people and result had been outstanding. I think this should encourage other countries for early approach to control the disease.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Sushi Dump CZ reply with Highly risk especially on Defi project ?? Agree ? on: September 10, 2020, 08:05:36 PM
Well, every project have risk, but not all project have a high risk.
Sushiswap is a new project, so we still don't know whether the project is good or just a hyped project.
The dump happened on sushi i think it is because the price of the coin was rising high in short time, and people who bought earlier sold them to make quick profit.
You missed the news of the exit scam of around $6m which affected the whole market especially for what the DEFI had brought to the space, through the fund and confidence. You should read more on this, it is not about the price pump, moreover is not the only Defi with such a price growth.
993  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your plans for the coming bull on: September 09, 2020, 06:59:11 PM
When the bull market is approaching for bitcoin, altcoins has so much time to make good amount of profit that should be in bitcoin, same even goes after the bull market of bitcoin. For countries with Tax demand and their citizen, they might need education to remove tax before purchasing lambo, citizen of USA should know they will pay Tax irrespective of their location during bull market and profit taking. I also feel profit taken should be planned for 4-5 years to cover the bull market except bitcoin lost its position with largest marketcap.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Sushi Dump CZ reply with Highly risk especially on Defi project ?? Agree ? on: September 09, 2020, 06:46:47 PM
CZ binance has the habit of post conflicting tweets to his position for marketing the exchange, I wish he employs a community manager for his twitter handle. Every project with anonymous team should be faced with a lot challenge to raise fund or rather getting exchange listing on centralized exchange. The team member with exit scam had been replaced, although the price has some recovery the effect on the whole market will take few days.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 18% XRP Price Drop ! ~ Moon or Bust? on: September 09, 2020, 06:40:38 PM
The XRP dump is not peculiar to the coin alone and it is a consolation for holders as we expect pump from other top coins. My only concern for those coin with regard to price movement, is the reliance on bitcoin. Except for ethereum, the community, the technology and development, I dont see other coins with such large marketcap to give such profit and confidence like bitcoin
996  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Black Crimes Matter on: September 08, 2020, 08:32:04 PM
Why bring up a sensitive topic with no data or premises for argument. It is just meant to raise a controversial racist collision. Every race commits crime and some times politics take over the community to aggravate such neglected controversy. The slightest of discussion here may kill someone on the street tomorrow, so lets be careful and let sleeping dog lie
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to Invest on: September 08, 2020, 08:25:09 PM
Binance market in my opinion is very good because it has the biggest users right now, and for good altcoins for investment like eth, bnb, link, dot, xlm are still very good to buy, maybe you can find out better than this.
Binance has more appealing term with the low transaction for all coins, it also allow many fiat to cryptocurrency exchange that encourage more fund on the exchange. Have been actively trading on binance for few months now and I wondered why I got on it that late. If there is any wash trading on the exchange,it is not noticeable. I feel possession of bitcoin should be lowered now into altcoins, ethereum should lead the highest possession of altcoins in the portfolio.
998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ETERBASE hacked on: September 08, 2020, 08:16:18 PM
I am always skeptical with those small exchanges that claim hacks. The exchange has been over the month control the withdrawal of users fund for no reason. Investors at ICO have no profit till now and several complains and delay in development. Some of this developers need to be jail or seriously prosecuted for the controversial claim. I dont believe the hack and I think exchanges should have learnt there lesson from binance and know how to store the coin in sections to prevent a great loss.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new promising ICO project these days? on: September 07, 2020, 10:02:31 PM
I'm not interested in looking for a new ICO, ICO is just a place for scammers, if you participate in ICO of course you will have a lot of thoughts after that,
there is no guarantee your money will be safe
Investors know that ICO is not safe but we need a similar platform, there have been different format this year without the traditional initial exchange offering. DIA had some different that was successful but the strategy now is the management of token, from the teams to whales. The allocation to teams really need to reduced it is not safe for investments that allow staking for long period
1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: FACT FINANCE - Bringing TRUE DeFi to the Industry! on: September 06, 2020, 08:45:17 PM
Attention will shift to teams of new DEFI, nobody want another repetition of Sushi, we all know sushi is not a scam but we dont want to see exit scam that might bring doubt to this development in the space. It was difficult for investors to trust a project the CEO dumped it token in the market, the ripple effect was all over the space. I also think nationalities might play part in trusting some investment this time, we need to be careful what we represent in this market.
