I usually like Chinese coins but I am not convinced about the concept and presentation.

Btw, has someone checked the wallets for viruses or trojans?

Can you provide some nodes please? And why offer Dropbox downloading where login is needed. Just upload it on mega.co.nz for example. It's totally free without login requirement  Huh

Thanks! I contacted the support. As soon as I get an answer I will post the responded information here.

Every Exchange can contact us in slack if they are having problems. Afaik Poloniex did that once, I don't know of any major problems with the current wallet.

9825  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 28, 2015, 10:47:41 AM
Fiat and paper money do not have any intrinsic value. Therefore, investing in properties, goods  and stocks is always better than keeping a lot of in your bank account. Hold only that much in cash as you need for your daily life and some purchases.
9826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex, keeps cooperating with scammers, thieves and criminals to rob people on: June 28, 2015, 10:32:03 AM
Well, Bittrex is not the only exchange doing this. Look at Yobit exchange for example, it also hosts ICOs for obviously scam coins.
But, IMHO, no one is forced to buy such coins. Everyone should make own research and question whether a investment in such coins is a good decision or not.

Where can I see whether a member has open loans or not?
I know that searching the posts of a member is a way, but is there a more convenient way?

9831  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: June 28, 2015, 10:09:02 AM
I guess you meant this story
http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2013/nov/27/hard-drive-bitcoin-landfill-site

The guy lost "only" 7,5k of his Bitcoins. It is a big amount but not as bad as 50k  Smiley

I would speculate a lot of the lost coins came from the curious miners when Bitcoin developed. They just experimented with the concept and left BTC in a wallet they deleted shortly after. There were also a lot of stories (that made actual news stories) about how some have had a ridiculous amount of BTC in a hard drive which they just threw out.

Yea i saw a popular story that a guy that had 50k bitcoins on an old hard drive threw it out and actually when a few months back to the local garbage lot to try and find it, drive is still lost so im sure there are people still hunting the drive in the garbage lot like treasure hunters.

9833  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I do ? on: June 28, 2015, 09:54:56 AM
well I'am afraid that Bitcoin dies before the halving block reward , shit happens sometimes to good people  Embarrassed

Bitcoin will die not out of nothing. There is much economical uncertainty which usually helps alternative "goods" like Bitcoin.
It only will struggle or fail if some flaws come up. I don't see such flaws at the moment. Life is always to take risk. No one here can give you an appropriate advice. You have got some information and now you need to decide on your own.

9836  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: June 27, 2015, 06:12:13 PM
Phrases for the mass? i am sorry but this is part of life experience. if you want to achieve something by all available means you will make more mistakes, and you will likely fail.

I agree absolutely with it. Somebody who is trying to get rich by all available means will not getting rich anyway because s(he) will do to much mistakes.

The things about getting rich is, those who chase money don't always get it, it's better to start finding projects and work which has potential and most importantly what you love doing, money follows sooner or later.

This is another one of those phrases for the masses. Sounds smart, but actually isn't.

You won't get good at swimming by cooking.

You won't get good at piano by skydiving.

The point is, the best way to get good at something is to directly do that thing, and not through some roundabout way. If your goal is money, then you should directly work towards that. If you don't achieve it like this, you'll certainly not achieve it through some roundabout wishy washy "do what you love to do" kind of mentality.

That is bad. I bought two million Qora last week and wanted to withdraw them this weekend. Hope the problem will be fixed soon.

I just realize that deposit and withdrawal function has been deactivated for Qora on Poloniex. Any information about why?

Both Poloniex and Bter are both reporting wallet issues, but of course, neither of them have yet to state exactly what the problem is. If anyone is thinking about trading, do not use either site as your coins will sit in limbo without any true reason given.

@Qora Developers - have either site been in contact with you regarding wallet issues?
