Ik ben blij dat hij weer online is Grin
En nee, helaas geen profit gemaakt, omdat ik het kapitaal niet heb om in bitcoins te traden.

Yup Mech bet 7k BTC @95%. That was his 12th bet in a row and the first one he lost. He started with 1700BTC.

9986  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: mcxNOW - Scam or not? on: October 07, 2013, 09:47:50 AM
From the terms:

All risk involved in trading or storing currency on this exchange is placed upon users and we will not be liable for any losses.

So don't keep anything of value there.
Well that applies to everywhere.
9987  Economy / Lending / Re: Boelens and Bitcoininformation's micro-(ish)loans. on: October 02, 2013, 09:48:13 PM
I can confirm that he isn't a scammer (as far as I know) and I do not think he will scam us. Still we need security, that is the big problem here.

I still find that logo very strange. I mean a camel and special agent badges, dafuck?
I believe it's a well setup hoax. Most newspaper just copy stuff from others, so if you bribe one newspaper other newspapers would follow without checking the source (this has been tested in The Netherlands).
The camel rider is SR's logo, and the agency seals are from the agencies that played a part in shutting the website down.
Sure, it COULD be a hoax, but that's as unlikely as your everyday conspiracy theory.
True. But I mean just look at the sign that was up for megaupload. That is completely. The SilkRoad one doesn't even have the "seized" in the background like it had by megaupload and the eagle on the SilkRoad one is just a cheap copy of the real deal:

I am not saying it is a hoax. I am just saying that I find it really strange.

9990  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin EU Convention 2013 (Amsterdam, Netherlands September 26th~28th) on: October 02, 2013, 08:44:22 PM
Somebody needs to pick a location for Amsterdam's "Satoshi Square."

It's done.  Leidseplein is Satoshi-plein (Satoshi Square).  We've been meeting there regularly since June.

Today was Bitcoin Wednesday in Amsterdam (which is every first Wednesday of the month). Couldn't make it yet again. Were there any people from the conference there?
I wasn't. Sadly.
9991  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [WINNERS: BOELENS & BITCOININFORMATION] 2 USB Block Erupters - jdany's raffle on: October 02, 2013, 07:49:46 PM
Eitherhow, please don't send me anything yet, Jdany, I'd like to first away to see if I can get rid of the costs.
I will agree with this. That would be in the best interest of us all.
9992  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [WINNERS: BOELENS & BITCOININFORMATION] 2 USB Block Erupters - jdany's raffle on: October 02, 2013, 07:46:47 PM
Just received my block erupter, sadly the value was marked as 50$ and thus I had to pay 22.98 euros of fee's, basically the same amount as the block erupter :p. Maybe I can still change it/get rid of it because they marked it wrongly, they marked it as a coin. But still, I hope I can resolve this.

Damnit.  That wasn't at all what I put on the paperwork.  I used $10.

Sorry about that.

Send me your wallet addresses.
I'll shoot you guys some change.  This wasn't intentional - and I don't know what happened.
It sucks for everyone.
I have to, sadly, disagree with you. You really wrote down 50, I guess in a hurry:

-snip-

It's nice of you that you will send us some change and mistakes can happen, right?
You can send it to, uhm, my donation address I guess: "1TDJ6DskKUwHbujfEo1CjJXeHd2y14cXj"

Maybe he put 10$ on some sort of paperwork at the USPS postal office but it got changed to 50 on the acutal package? I'm not sure if they do that themselves there.
I have no idea either. Just wanted to show him the package. I do not blame him for this, because things like this can happen.
9993  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] Bitorca.com ***Bounty / Big Bitorca Giveaway!*** on: October 02, 2013, 06:54:34 PM
Question, how can I edit product details? Kinda hard to find (if that option even exists Tongue)

EDIT: Also, "Contact Support" on a item buy page links to https://bitorca.com/getting-started/ too.

Fixed.

At the moment, product details are edited by admin through manual requests.  This feature will be a while off for users to do manually.

I will also set up the support to report bugs in there and I will post the link.  This thread is getting pretty long now Tongue
I see. The "Live Preview" button should be hidden if the "Demo URL" field is empty.

Btw. why does "Details" next to the price information "Full You get everything!" (example) go to https://bitorca.com/getting-started/ ?
I didn't find anything there about the price details Tongue

EDIT: Also, I don't receive a e-mail when my item is put online.

I found an error:

The picture links to a wrong user and shows a wrong profile picture.

Good find!  Fixed.
Thank you and no problem. I submitted another script Grin

Haha, great stuff Smiley

Here are a list of issues I need to sort out

  • Change decimals.  The sites % cut doesn't take from very low payments such as 0.01 and will round up/down.  But this is good for the author until I do lol
  • Sold history is a-ok.  However the sold lists the items price at full price.  The balance corrects for this but may confuse new authors
  • Purchase button wont purchase when in comments section, user has to go back to item.  Not a major issue but I will fix this

I can see ALL transactions from my db, coinpayments and the blockchain.  If there are any issues with users purchasing or items sold, there is an abundance of info to rectify it.  Its still in Beta but I don't want that to reduce confidence in buyers and sellers.
Thanks. Also, it would be nice if the gap between store picture and store text wouldn't be that big Tongue
If you need any help, just PM me!
9997  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will the price be of bitcoins in one week after take over of SR on: October 02, 2013, 06:14:23 PM
86 to 105 on BitStamp in matter of seconds. This is gonna be good!
9998  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC Is Dropping on BitStamp on: October 02, 2013, 06:10:08 PM
SR got seized, people are panic selling. This is gonna be good.

Wait, you mean Silk Road? It got seized? Holy shit.
Yep. It's panic sell time. I am just going to shit back and enjoy the ride.

I couldn't care less, because it will go up again, like it always does.
