9981  Economy / Economics / Re: How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire in 5 years? on: February 24, 2017, 07:52:31 AM
It depends on the currency you use and the price of bitcoin at the time, since the currency of my country has a very low price compared to the dollar I don't need a crazy amount of bitcoin or for the price to skyrocket to be a millionaire in my country I will only need 25BTC for that to happen.
Yup, it depends upon the currency rate of country and bitcoin exchange rate. According to the growth rate of bitcoin as compare to economical rate of any country bitcoin rate is much greater which can make you a millionaire quicker than you will imagine. I think, in next 2 year bitcoin growth will rate exceed up to greater levels then no need to wait for 5 years working, you will be millionaire in just 2 year if you will be continuously working for bitcoins.

like hundreds of coins, then my future and the the future of my family will be guaranteed for the rest of our lives.
No one ever can sure about it. Because inflation of fiat might make cost of living into 10X times too. No one can predict even 10 million USD also will be enough for next generations as US dollars also might lose its buying power.
9982  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: February 24, 2017, 07:12:12 AM
I don't think working harder will make you a lot of money. If that statement is true than janitors will earn more compared to bank managers. What I am trying to say is that the more high your rank os the higher your pay is. Also rich people thend not to work but let their money work for them. Their money working for them is the key for them to get more rich

Obviously, you should work smarter

Those who got higher didn't necessarily work harder. In fact, they likely didn't even work as hard as their colleagues. In other words, they worked harder toward getting higher in rank, whatever it might mean in practice, and in most cases it doesn't mean working more. A janitor working hard will just end up being an excellent janitor, but he will likely remain a janitor for the rest of his life
Indeed, working hard to try and get more money is not enough because like said a janitor will always be a janitor no matter how hard he works, you always have to work hard in order to achieve something and progress like work hard to get money so you can get better education so you can find a better job that pays more money and that applies to bitcoin as well.

Smarter works will fetch more reward than how harder we are putting our efforts in some worthless fields, for example faucets. At the same time if we work on select faucets with some good number of referrals then we can find the rewards for our efforts and this explains how smart work is better.
9983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling worth to try for newbie? on: February 24, 2017, 06:32:27 AM
Gambling is not a good place to experiment, even if a person is a newbie in gambling he can still enjoy it and since he is rich already, he doesn't need to aim for the profit, what he needs is to enjoy at the very tolerable level where he will not lose what he cannot afford to lose. They are lucky because they are rich and they can get the best entertainment they are looking as money is not their problem.
But we have to accept the fact that majority of people are playing gambling for making money and if we examine we can see that that in casinos the number of poor people is more than the number of rich people and all of them are here to make money and to become rich. Most of the newbies still they have the intention to make money then they obviously choose gambling for achieving their target of becoming QUICK RICH.

The humiliating true is even the experienced gamblers also keep trying gambling for same intentions. But gambling never let them reaching their target. They eventually become QUICK POOR in no time.
9984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose casino to play? on: February 23, 2017, 08:51:35 PM
I choose casino which has a good game play and offer a lot of events to join in and of course the higher chances to win. I consider the latest features on the site it should be updated and less ads so it is not irritating. I want also the compatibility using mobile mode.
Actually there are some casinos where the owner can provide more good gambling facilities while in some are casino owners are not so good financially and therefore they are not providing such facilities to their users and people always try to use visit such casinos where they have good facilities. People also try to choose such casino whose population is more and having good reputation.

We can simply choose casino based on their member database. If they are having large member base, then they might be maintaining high standard. The simple logic behind this is : more number of people will not choose the wrong one.
9985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 23, 2017, 08:34:00 PM
Australia vs. Sri Lanka, the 3rd T20 game finally AUS won by 41 runs in the final match. But Sri Lanka won this series by 2-1. Aus bat first and gave 188 runs target to Sri Lanka, Aus had a chance to make some more runs in this game, but middle orders failed to make a big score. SL players failed to make AUS whitewash in this series. Congrats Aus and SL.

Tomorrow big match is going to start b/w India vs. Austrailia 1st Test match at Pune, India. I think the home team will win this test.

Yeah finally Australia won a T20 game against Sri Lanka in the 3 match series and yeah Australia had a big chance to make 200+ runs but the middle order collapsed badly for 4/10 runs.

The 1st test starts in a matter of minutes against India and Australia. Australia won the toss and has elected to bat so it will be interesting to see how well they bat on this pitch which will suite the spin bowlers. Also it will be interesting to see if Australia has learned anything from their tour of Sri Lanka last year where they lost 3-0.
I think Australia must be feeling it hard. Because they are not use to with spin and slow pitches.
Although there will not such big turn in very start in the pitch but later one when the bitch and the ball will become rough then the Indian bowler will defiantly give tough time to Australian batsmen.

But we must also accept the fact that the Australian also has good and experienced batsmen who can perfume in any situation.
9986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who can tell that when our luck come to us? on: February 23, 2017, 08:25:15 PM
I don't think that a fortune teller knows that luck is going to come to you because she can say that you're going to win with this and at the same you lose with the same thing.
Different fortune teller have their methods for telling about people fortune, predicting about our fortune using stars while other taking the help of our palms lines. While some that the advantages of religion view. But I think there is no reality in such prediction about our luck in advance because most of the time their prediction proves as wrong.

For gambling, i don't think it's reliable to consult fortune tellers
That must be a good practice, we cannot be sure about predictions made by some people for our future. Mostly it will not work as they foretell. If they are really capable of foretelling, they would have earned by this time.

Gambling is basically just random results and nothing influences the outcome so we really won't know if we're going to win or not
When we are ready to accept this truth, we will never go for struggling with gambling. If we accept then we will get maturity to accept what ever results that gambling will give.
9987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of people that treat Bitcoin solely as an investment? on: February 23, 2017, 08:03:14 PM
I think it's reasonable since bitcoin have high value and ever reach as high as gold so whenever who invest into bitcoin , they already made a great choice for their future investment.
By seeing bitcoin value based on graph , bitcoin become the great investment I've ever see compare gold
When the bitcoin started we were all talking about a new currency that is going to change the whole idea of using the money on the internet, but after a couple of years the price was really high that it has become more of an investment and people saving and buying it, and the ones who believed in it a long time ago are really lucky. I am not finding any wrong with them.

We cannot argue that we should not save bitcoins as an investment. It must be a basic human right to do what ever they want to with their wealth.

But time will enforce them to start using their savings. How long one will sit and watch their saving's value goes skyrocketing. Either their basic needs nor emergency needs nor emotions will make them to come out of their investment mode.
9988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is no "proper" price for bitcoin on: February 23, 2017, 07:44:05 PM
I dont know if there is anything in this universe that exists with a definite value or price. Even the dollars and other currencies get up and down. Various things gets up and down due to market demand and supply, then how we expect bitcoins price to be fixed ? I guess its very bad if price remains same because then we cannot trade.
Yes, similar to anything in this world bitcoin too have no proper price.
But one thing I want to clear you that bitcoin is such a currency which is going to up and up in price. Hence no wonder different exchange / people follow prices relatively different.

If you take example of other thing like gold it prices are being determined by traders. As world wide it is being traded, different country will have different prices for gold. Similarly bitcoin is being traded my many exchanges and based on bid ask volume bitcoin prices get determined.
9989  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How can I spot Ponzi schemes? on: February 23, 2017, 05:48:15 PM
for cloud mining, in a nutshell, if they are offering referral bonus, it is a scam.

for PTC, http://www.scamdetector.info/scam-portrait.html has all the information, but in a nutshell, if the need of investing before cashing out, it is a ponzi.

for investment, if they are refusing to provide the source of income, like how they are to be used, they are likely a form of ponzi.
In summary, any services which are having improper income generation methods and trying to circulate existing member's money to attract new people should be concluded as ponzi. When are looking at their business model, we can make this conclusion.

Unfortunately ponzis are now coming backed by a known business concepts. Cloud mining must be a good example here.

As spotting obvious ponzi has become as an easy task for everyone, now abusers are coming with covered ponzi. We can realize their actual business only after certain period of time. I am not finding any working idea to identify them other than staying away from them for some time but watching them closely.
9990  Economy / Services / Re: Best VPN Services That Accepts Bitcoin and Altcoins on: February 23, 2017, 05:10:06 PM
Service very much available.
I do see almost all VPN service providers claim themselves as best. Fortunately we are having lots of VPN providers. So, please get us any special reason (other than OP as these features are available with many providers) to join Purevpn and that too through you.

- Could you get me any additional discount for 2 years membership for bitcoin payments.
- I heard PureVPN has daily sessions limit. (sessions = disconnecting and reconnecting / switching IP location). If you are able to do any provision for over ridding it, I am very much interested to buy this services.
9991  Economy / Services / Re: Searching someone with a bank account on: February 23, 2017, 02:51:51 PM
Hello,
I search a trusted member with a bank account that can receive payments for me from Goldmoney, then send me the amount in Bitcoin, with a comission for your work.
If you are interested to do this, contact me, and send me required informations.
I do see getting a checking account is not a big deal...
- There are many online banking services like this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1709715.0
- wb21.com is another similar services (Xapo is partnering with them for deposits for buying bitcoins)
- I remember there are people selling verified bank accounts along with pre-loaded debit cards. But need to be very careful on choosing them

Another possibility is that Op wants to receive the money in BTC and as far as i remember, Payoneer don't have this option... Roll Eyes
Bank accounts have that option ? Do not be kidding   Wink
9992  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading method is better? on: February 23, 2017, 08:54:50 AM
if you have a large capital you can trade currency bitcoin or if you want to test using little capital you can use bittrex and poloniex to trade with altcoin
Never believe into fake assumptions like only with large capital we will get good results in trading. If you're good with your technical analysis, we never need to worry about your capital amounts. Large capital always might lead to big losses, in my experience I always suggest to avoid that. It is always better to stick with small capital.

speaking on small amounts only altcoin would really give you decent profits but we should really treat it not so confident because its really risky.
Basically across all types of trading, the unpredictable price movement will exist and will surprise you at any time. So, not just for altcoin trading, it would be highly recommended to go with small capital for all types of trading because all types tradings are really risky.
9993  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I educate myself on bitcoin for investing? on: February 23, 2017, 08:26:04 AM
Bitcointalk is the best place where you can find which one is best investment. There are many people who can answer your questions without any problem because you can open discussion post regarding on what your investing. So many people in bitcointalk will share their opinion, in this way you can find which way is best for investing.
No one could ignore bitcointalk for discussion on bitcoin investment as well as for bitcoin trading. In my experience bitcointalk had helped me to choose right exchange according to my requirement. First I check on google, but I was not satisfied with the results but fortunately I found proper guidelines here.

It is not just about educating, it is more than gaining awareness and sharing opinion. Most of the only resources just give a list on how to get educating on bitcoin investments, but here people will guide us to choose a suitable options by sharing their experience.
9994  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: February 21, 2017, 11:58:13 PM
The fantastic bitcoin performance is not really a gamble anymore, it has shown that all the people that just hold keep making gains. It's funny how the people that got their funds locked in the chinese exchanges have made more money by being forced to hold due the PBOC regulations. The moral of the story is: hold.
But holding bitcoins is being classified as investment hence it is not facing the difficulty of unpredictable nature of markets. Unpredictable is a challenge only for traders not for investors, that must be the reason for performances, you have mentioned. But in contradicting strategy, to overcome the unpredictable markets, the only easy weapon must be holding for long haul.

Even holding helps to get rid of the challenges of price fluctuations, it will not be a preferable strategy for many traders as most traders are not preferring passive trading.

Active trading for a highly fluctuating market finds extra edge when we learn strategies to tackle unpredictable market movements.
9995  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: February 21, 2017, 10:57:26 PM
Buy low and sell high! Honestly I would highly recommend reading as much as possible. Really try to understand why the price moves. That being said, you also need to realize that so much of what happens is completely random and unexpected. Bitcoin really is the wild west and nothing is a sure thing. Beware of anyone that gives you advice saying they can for sure help you increase your BTC balance.
Those randomness gives user the excitement while also the panic whenever the price moves up or down.
There are people offering some genuine looking services though like recently I saw in lending section about a guy taking investments for poker games.

While these services look genuine and might even profit there is no guarantee that you would be paid. In short term I feel the best way to earn bitcoins is to risk them either way you say gamble or buy altcoins. While in long term holding seems the only way as of now.
9996  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it profitable to run a Bitcoin faucet in 2017 on: February 18, 2017, 07:53:06 AM
monetizing a site is not an easy task but at least you have some tools to attract visitors.
But I believe this where the profits and hence the entire success of running a faucet lying. There would be no point in choosing a faucet business without having any proper plan on attracting users. Most faucets do get their visitors for the first round and failing to keep them rechecking the faucets. At the same time, a faucet cannot pay big amount of satoshi to make the to keep on coming back. Really the management oriented decisions needed.

Other than this, the owner needs to focus on proxy checking and bot detection because fake visitors usually eat up all the funds of faucets to enforce them to dry up so quicker.
9997  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain adoption by banking sector on: February 18, 2017, 07:03:00 AM
Banks will adopt blockchain technology for sure, it is crucial for them to save time and expenses.
Not just time and expenses, blockchain technology will cover many other aspects of banking sector preciously security features. The efficient data management in secure way is the top layer benefits of adopting blockchain technology to be benefited by banks.

If we take the US dollar as a reference with many trillion dollars in circulation, then even if we assume that all 17M bitcoins mined by now are in circulation (which is apparently a far cry from reality) that will make only a minuscule fraction. It might well be that Bitcoin would turn totally unsupportable and useless if it were to come close to the US dollar in terms of circulation volume
Why you are forgetting to consider the infinitely divisible feature of electronic formats ?
If you consider bitcoin's satoshi as a basic unit there would be 17 M *10^8 bitcoin units in circulation against dollars. Again we can have centi-satoshi and milli-satoshi if needed. If volume is the big consideration, I believe bitcoin is already versatile to cover up this.
9998  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: February 18, 2017, 06:32:47 AM
many believe and predict that happens where cryptocurrency will explode in the future but we do not know what will happen in the future later and not all cryptocurrency like bitcoin and ETH will explode
I think cryptocurrency have decentralized and anonymous system, I doubt the government will accept this system and make other cryptocurrency, although arguably cryptocurrency sophisticated, but if the government does not accept it then what ?
The decentralization of crypto currencies emphasize that there is no need of any government approval for the success of crypto currencies. So, nothing will happen if government does not accept the same time if government come forward with your stand on crypto currency that might give some extra boost.

It can be hundred percent sure that the future of crypto currencies is not depending on government's decisions. We can have on our own kingdom so there are definite chances for crypto currency to be the future. Just save it and make money out of your investments.
9999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 8 Cryptopia shares for sale on: February 18, 2017, 04:27:57 AM
More shares  =  More dividends

Obviously, but people want to know historical dividends for ONE share, so they can calculate ROI. Is that too hard to understand?
You can search and have all the required information by checking on their forum https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum as well as by googling. When you do not have time to search them how you can expect someone will list those for you.

More importantly, this thread was almost one month old. Probably those Cryptopia shares would have been sold out. But no update from OP yet. You can PM him about availability and also for your concerned information.
10000  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [WARNING] Reporting Suspicious Trading Practice on: February 17, 2017, 06:16:58 PM
I don't trade without escrow so I refused his proposal to go without escrow and I am not sure is this kind of scam attempt or not so I am not revealing his personal details but I just want to warn all of you that
That is the only protection layer we could have to safeguard ourselves. Almost 99% of malpractices are being eliminated when we go through a trade with escrow. Your warning is good but I guess almost all the members here must be well aware of these types of scam attempts. Still having another warning would be nice to remind one more time.

Scams are everywhere. If the price doesn't sound right then that's probably a red flag to start with.
Most of the times, the cheaper prices when you are trying to buy (higher prices in the case of selling ) would be quoted just to lure us. The basic common sense like "no one will act for others benefits" is the thump rule to protect ourselves here.
