Chelsea has made some improvements under Pochettino, but the owners remain the main issue. Todd Boehly had instructed management to fire him. The reason is that Poch requested permission to handle the transfer players, and Todd Boehly responded negatively to Poch's request. Because of this issue, Todd decided to fire Poch, and Chelsea appointed Maresca as their new coach. Finally, the Blues may not step up as long as Todd Boeh remains chairman of the club.

Chelsea experienced a lot of problems because Todd Boehly did not have good chemistry with several players and Pocchettino. I agree with you because despite having quite bad results this season, in the last few matches Chelsea have become better and got several wins. At that time I thought Pocchettino would return as coach next season, buy several players and make Chelsea better. But unfortunately it looks like Todd Boehly doesn't want to spend a lot of money at the moment and gave a negative response to Pocchettino's proposal. I don't know if this rumor is true or not but it seems true that Todd Boehly and Pocchettino have a rocky relationship.

The problem with Saudi Arabia is all they have is money and they cannot use the potential they have. In fact, one reason for the Saudi Arabia teams to buy superstar players and spend too much money for these players is that they want to be a more powerful country and be a better host for the World Cup in the next years. This can help this country to earn to more money and on the other hand this can help Saudi Arabia to have more and better players in the country and attract more attention.

I agree with you. But I think another reason Saudi Arabia spends a lot of money to recruit veteran superstars is because they want to promote the Saudi Arabian League aka SPL throughout the world and at the same time promote football to all Saudi citizens so that they like football. I think their investment is working. Nowadays, at least people know Al Nasr and Al Hilal and almost everyone knows SPL because there are several superstars like Ronaldo and Neymar. It seems like they really have the ambition to become one of the best football countries in Asia and even the world.

I won't say anything bad about Barcelona, but in fact, in terms of player quality, it is very different and we can see how last season when Barcelona under Xavi still failed to compete with Madrid, while Xavi was one of the coaches who was recognized as the best coach that Barcelona had with his intelligence able to rotate players perfectly but in fact Barcelona only ended up in runner up position.
And in the coming season, Madrid will have a great striker (Mbappe) while Barcelona will experience the bad thing of firing Xavi and replacing him with a new coach and this is a sign that Madrid will still be the best.

Xavi is a Barcelona legend and one of the best midfielders in history. I think Xavi should be able to adopt Pep Guardiola's tactics and make Barca better. Unfortunately, Xavi became Barcelona coach at the wrong time. Barcelona is experiencing a financial crisis and Xavi does not have much money to spend on players. But the problem is that Xavi has also purchased failed players such as Ferran Torres who is now unable to contribute to the team.

Every coach has a different match strategy. And there are some favorite players. Allegri was the coach of Juventus for a long time. Juventus have now changed their coach. New Juventus coach Paolo Montero will certainly want to build his squad with players of his choice. So next season we will certainly see some big changes in the Juventus squad if the Juventus management gives Paolo Montero full freedom in the formation of the squad.

I'm not sure if Juventus will want to sell 26-year-old Federico Chiesa. Federico Chiesa's fitness is good enough. Last season he probably had 9 goals and 2 assists. However, Juventus management may decide to sell Federico Chiesa if they get a good price.

Juventus has a lot of old players. I think this is a problem and I don't know why the previous coach still kept the same squad without regenerating. Thiago Motta must be able to build a better squad. I hope the club board gives Thiago Motta freedom and sufficient budget and I hope the new coach will regenerate the Juventus squad. Because in my opinion, if Juventus does not regenerate now, in the next season or two they will find it difficult to compete with other teams and may suffer a bad fate.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling bad to the society? on: June 19, 2024, 05:21:10 PM

It's up to us. If a person is irresponsible, they don't even need to gamble to make shit happen. Once upon a time on the internet I came across an example that perfectly demonstrates that the shit we do is ourselves. We all have kitchen knives at home, and every day in the world people die from kitchen knives, but that's no reason for everyone not to use knives for their intended purpose. Same goes for gambling.

Gambling has become bad in society because many people experience huge losses from gambling because they cannot control their emotions and make gambling a source of income. I can't deny that many of my friends in poor districts are addicted to gambling and they become lazy about working and just hope they can turn their daily money from a few dollars into hundreds and even thousands of dollars. This is completely different from some rich people who gamble just for fun. Or someone who can set a budget for their gambling. So in my opinion this is a situational condition but in my circle people experience losses due to gambling.

When we're talking about favorite games, Enzo Maresca and Pep Guardiola comes in the picture because they're both good coaches that knows specifically how to handled elite team. Chelsea vs Manchester City is the favorite game to watch because its an important fixture.

I agree with you. I think Chelsea's opening Premier League match against Manchester City is the most interesting. City are a strong team but I think everyone wants to see how Chelsea do with their new coach. The next interesting match is Liverpool vs Ipswich. Even though it will be an easy win for Liverpool but I wonder if Arne Slot can make Liverpool the same as the Klopp era. There is nothing interesting in other matches. I think the favorite teams will be able to complete their respective tasks.

These teams need to invest in youth divisions, like... starting from an early age in training children and young people, otherwise they will always just be participants in competitions, without aiming for anything other than participation... the future of these teams at world level is to try put sport in people's lives from an early age...and maybe in a few decades Qatar or other teams of lesser importance today could try to play on equal terms against the big teams.

I agree with you. Qatar, which has strong finances, should be able to form a good national team squad with the investment they have made. Currently they have done the right thing by promoting football in their country. Qatar is not a football country but they can try to introduce football to the young people there. They can invest to build a world-class football academy. They can also do what Saudi Arabia did by bringing in world-class veteran players. Or they can also build connections with several football clubs in Europe by sending their potential players. Qatar should be able to do anything with the money they have.

Proper management of the club allows them to maintain a balance between investments and achievements, they invest a lot of money in players, but by winning titles they receive large prize money which can cover most of the expenses. With the same calculation, Barcelona recruited players, they hoped to achieve big victories and thus get out of a difficult financial situation, but this is not always as easy to do as it seems. When there are financial problems, then among other things, you also need to be able to conduct competent financial planning, without this nothing will change, it seems that Flick shares this point of view.

I read the news which said that Barcelona's finances started to get worse since 2015 when they bought a lot of players at fantastic prices at that time. Poor financial management, failed player purchases and Covid-19 have meant that they have suffered financial failure around 2021-2022. I think Barcelona will take a few years to get back to financial health. I really regret this situation because Barcelona currently will not be able to compete in El Classico.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 19, 2024, 04:39:14 PM

Call it Juventus, Milan, Napoli and Roma. It is certain that these four teams will be very tough competitors for Inter next season. Because of these four teams, you could say that the teams in Serie A are the most active in the transfer market this season. So it is clear that these four teams are very serious about preparing their teams for next season. Therefore, Inter really has to be aware of this.

To be honest, I haven't received any official news about the players they will recruit next season. Juventus and AC Milan are indeed tough competitors for Inter Milan for next season. I can say that this season Juventus and AC Milan cannot put pressure on Inter Milan who dominate Serie A. But if they are active in the transfer market this season I think they will really be a tough competitor for Inter Milan.

I don't know how AS Roma and Napoli will fare next season. As Roma will be better next season because I see De Rossi is a great coach. Napoli performed very badly this season. I'm not sure they will be contenders for the Serie A title next season.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling losses are traps to new game on: June 18, 2024, 05:29:35 PM

When a gambler loses excessively while gambling and continues to lose his money, he must stop. It is even more important to stop gambling, as when a player loses a bet and gambles again to make up his money, he is sure to fall into a bigger trap. When a gambler cannot control himself, he will always lose his money so that person should be stopped from gambling.
It is most wrong for a gambler to consider gambling as a source of income, so one should exercise self-control and play responsibly while gambling.

I agree with you. I also often say that gambling is not a source of income and you cannot expect to make money by gambling. I know people gamble to win and make money but in my opinion you still have to think that gambling is not your source of income.
Gambling has the chance of winning and losing and you cannot determine it. I think we can't rely on lucky days because it will make you continue gambling even when you are losing your money. Believe me, you will lose more money if you cannot control your emotions when gambling.

Even though they are now an elite team in the EPL, Arsenal is still not able to become an outstanding team. I don't really hope that Arsenal can win the UEFA title because it is not easy to win because there are so many elite teams participating there. Arsenal must form a mentality in their players to win the EPL trophy as capital to continue their success at European level.

I agree with you. Arsenal is now one of the elite teams in the English league and they are the favorites to win the English league next season. Unfortunately they have failed in two seasons and this has really disappointed fans. I don't think Arteta needs to make many changes next season. They just need to play consistently and form a good player mentality. I also hope they will be able to win the English league because currently they have the best squad in the last few seasons.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 18, 2024, 05:10:04 PM

2022 World Cup was hosted by Qatar and they invested huge amount of money there. Qatar invests a lot of money behind football and yet their team does poorly in the World Cup tournament because Qatar does not have players in its pipeline like the big European teams who can support the team. As in Brazil, football is constantly being produced in Qatar, but not like this, that is why Qatar cannot perform significantly well in the World Cup

Qatar is not a country with a good football culture like Brazil. So for now I think it is still difficult for them to compete at the world cup level. But I see the Qatari government really cares about Qatari football and with their wealth they are really investing in football by hosting the 2022 world cup as well as hosting the AFC 2023. They have also invested in several football training camps there. Qatar will become one of the strongest countries in the world of football but this will take quite a long time because it takes years to build a strong football culture in a country.

Hansi Flick will certainly hope to get several new players in the upcoming transfer market. There is still a lot of time to wait and see what developments Barcelona will make while the transfer market is open. But I would not be surprised if they are only able to buy 1 or 2 low price players or bring them in on loan or for free.

I agree with you. Real Madrid will return to dominating La Liga just as Inter Milan will again dominate Serie A. Real Madrid does not have a big competitor next season if you look at other clubs at the moment. Barcelona is their rival but they are going through a difficult financial situation so it looks like the new coach Hansi Flick will have to utilize the current players or make some player purchases by selling current players. This means they still won't be able to get enough good players for next season. Poor finances have really made Barcelona slump this season.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 18, 2024, 04:52:24 PM

and he had a crazy season with only two defeats
he ground out points and games in a truly impeccable and frightening way, its a shame he didnt have the same performance in the Champions League, it would have definitely been better for them there, they can try this new season

Inter Milan has really dominated Serie A this season. They recorded the fewest defeats and the most wins in Serie A. This shows their extraordinary dominance. If other clubs in Serie A don't make changes I think Inter Milan will dominate again next season. But I think the league won't be as exciting if there is one team that is more dominant than the other teams.
Yes they still failed to win the Champions League and only made it to the knockout stages. But I'm sure they will be able to perform better next season.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: June 18, 2024, 04:39:28 PM

The score has become 1-1. Georgia managed to equalize through a goal from Georges Mikautadze's kick in the 32nd minute. Turkey should have led 2-1 but after a VAR check the Turkish player was caught offside. Türkiye is the favorite in this match but it looks like Georgia is a tough opponent. But I still think Türkiye will win this match if they don't make a blunder. I predict the final score will be 2-1 in favor of Türkiye.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swap crypto or sell first then buy? on: June 17, 2024, 09:06:13 PM
Hi,

I have a few altcoins that are doing pretty well and want to take profits soon to then reinvest into other altcoins that haven’t pumped yet and I am wondering if it is best to swap directly or sell my altcoin that is doing well into USDT and then buy the new altcoin I want with the USDT?

I use Coinbase mainly so wondering which way is best to do it or is there not really much difference?
You must be able to ensure first that your next choice is the best choice. Because selling a coin that is performing well, then buying a coin with a low level of popularity, will lead to disappointment. Coins with high levels of price fluctuation can certainly easily generate profits.

If you have got a coin that is performing well, I think if you want to take profit then it would be better if you took some of the profit, but if you are sure about the performance of the token then it is better for you to keep some of it. So you won't miss the opportunity if it turns out that the token rises again at a higher price. But you have to understand the risk that there is a possibility that an altcoin that you think is good will actually have bad performance in the future. If that's the case then taking all the profits is the best choice.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Messed up with my Notcoin on: June 17, 2024, 08:43:17 PM
In my opinion, I don't see much to regret, after all, the airdrop was a good experience for you, and the money you lost is not a lot of money, after all. It would be better if you think about many new airdrop opportunities in the future. Many new airdrops are released every day. If you dwell on what you have lost, it will be difficult for you to see what is new, do not do this to yourself.

I agree with you. Several people have also experienced the same thing. They lost several dollars because they chose to hold the token. But since OP said he got it from Airdrop I think it doesn't matter because at least he can still sell for a decent value. What is unfortunate is that some people have bought Notcoin at a high price and then sold it at a low price. Currently Notcoin is at a price that is good enough to make a profit if you get it from Airdrop or buy it at the start of the launch.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Take Profit in this Bullrun on: June 17, 2024, 01:16:40 PM

The potential coin in the market can be found by the investigation about the project, the random investment is not the right option.Because the random investment in the cryptocurrency will leads to loss of the investment.Take some time to analysis the project, because the money using in the investment is the real money. If you want to check the way of the random betting better use the test trading option in the trading exchange. The demo trading was the first one use by the traders at the initial phase.

I don't even recommend trying to pick up random coins. There are tens of thousands of crypto projects and you can't bet by picking a few at random and just looking at the hype or just because they are in the top 100. Altcoins are about buying low and selling high. Altcoins cannot be held for the long term because most altcoins will lose their value and will be replaced by new projects. Unless it is an altcoin with good fundamentals such as ethereum or bnb.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the largest meme coin ever? on: June 17, 2024, 01:10:05 PM
It's always dogecoin.  I know other coins might be the hottest of the week but in the end they probably will co.e crawling back to the OG memecoin.  I'm not huge into doge or any memecoin because I don't think they have value in terms of being needed by the ass public. Think they are all pump toys strictly for profit and then in the end most all of them will be equal to zero

I agree with you. Meme coins have no fundamentals and provide nothing to the public. Meme coins will get pumped up and once the hype is over they will be worth zero or will not hit ATH again. It is very rare for a meme coin to survive and therefore I agree that Doge is the biggest and best meme coin at the moment. Several other meme coins that are in my monitoring are Pepe, Bome, Rats, and Bonk but I am still losing money because I invested around March and currently the price is still below my purchase price. Except for Pepe who has given me 100% profit and I have sold him. Because I know there is no point in holding onto a meme coin for a long time.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in meme coins is worthy or not? on: June 17, 2024, 01:05:23 PM

In my opinion, whether it is worth it or not depends on how far you have researched the memecoins you mentioned above. because we all know that memecoins have a very high risk and this can make us lose assets in a short time. So in my opinion you should do your research and consider whether buying memecoins or the top altcoins.

I think there is no technical research or looking at tokenomics if we are talking about meme coins. But I agree with you we still need research in choosing meme coins. Investing in meme coins will be very risky therefore it is better not to invest without doing some research. You can try to see the development team, how this meme coin project will be created and the most important thing is how strong the project community is. Meme coins have no fundamentals so you have to make sure they have a good community.
