Galactrum Team Meeting Minutes

Overall discussion of current state of ORE, including PoS and Cryptopia. PoS chain migration was successful.
We are currently researching methods of advertising.
We will be applying to 1 or 2 small/mid tier exchanges, the team is evaluating the different candidates.
Stakenode script in development, beta is available with DM to snow. Please ask snow if interested.
We are currently conducting a feasibility study regarding the retail acceptance of ORE, including very unique merchant marketing incentives. The study will be conducted by a few select retailers. The results of the study will be disclosed as they become available.
Currently updating orecore to v1.4. Updating node guide to include stakenodes is an ongoing process.
Gabster is currently working on the proposal generator as well as the proposal viewer/voting tool.

Gridcoin being delisted from Poloniex on 25th Sept, what a kick in the bollocks that is.
Wow, that is the reason why sudden drop on price on bittrex. I'll just wait a little longer, then I'll buy this coin again. It's a possible gain, after everybody dumps. I was wondering this too. That's a crazy drop. |

I downloaded to give it a shot over NiceHash. Uberminer is quitting when it enters the benchmark step. Any ideas?
Are you overclocked? Do you have the latest drivers installed? Does it allow you to de/select algorithms? If it does, some of those newer, more obscure algos aren't as stable as the older ones... like phi and xevan have crashed my rigs in the past using other multi-algo stuff like NemosMiner. I have the latest drivers installed. I didn't have Afterburner open when I tried Uberminer. I don't even get to the point of selecting an algo...it shuts off seconds after I agree to a benchmark. And to answer your question above mine, I'm trying to test this on (4) 1070s. As soon as I get it up, you'll have an answer! |

As of this evening, I can't open my Windows 10 1.1 wallet. When it is reindexing the block chain on start up, I get the stopped working-close program pop up.
Is this a new issue due to a windows update?
Perhaps if your update did a force-close on your apps (including wallets) when restarting? For problems that sounds like that, try launching the wallet with the -reindex parameter. May take 15+ min depending on your system specs. If that doesn't help, try a fresh install (please make careful backups first!) and if that doesn't work, please stop by the Slack/Discord for more real-time help. Good luck! This worked! Thank you. |

You have 37K coin days, which isnt so high.
The general consensus is if you have between 150K and 250K TZC you will find between 1 and 3 blocks a day with PoS.
It might help to clarify that aciddude was indicating 150k to 250k TZC coin balance may lead to 1-3 blocks a day via PoS. Coin balance is the actual coins you own. The 37k coin days/weight is a multiple of the balance. Since the max multiple is 15x, that means 37k weight could indicate a balance as low as ~2500 coins. With a hypothetical balance of 2.5k coins, staking would be much less frequent than daily. Just FYI. Good luck with your staking! I've always wondered what the min. balance to stake was as well. So by your math, someone would need a minimum of 10K coins to stake daily at this point in time. Thanks! Sorry, could explain your math TRexMcStubyArms?  Based on the values mentioned above, one would expect to need 150k or higher to achieve a daily (estimated) stake rate? As for minimum to stake, iirc one might need at least 200 coins... Gah nevermind, too early in the morning. I took 150K coins and divided by max multiple of 15, thinking that was the minimum daily stake amount needed. |

I think this is a good coin with a lot great features. Transactions are quick, the wallet is simple and easy to use, and the masternodes are actually attainable with good ROI. As a miner, I appreciate the fact that it's ASIC resistant and it's listed on solid pools. Keep it up guys! This is exactly what the crypto world needs. |
