Liverpool can't make up any excuse for their bad performance. They made many mistakes and had a hard time dealing with Galatasaray defense as well. It's absolutely a deserved win for the Turkish team.  Cool

To tell the truth, I never expected such a result... Galatasaray were still looking in bad shape in their last match. But there was a different team on the pitch this time. They wasted important opportunities to make the gap bigger as well.

They'd continue enjoying this huge win over one of top 3 CL title favourites for a while...

Interesting to see McLaren this bad. Only in two weeks both drivers got much worse than Verstappen... Something is wrong with the cars in the first place.

First Norris DNF and Piastri follows after in Azerbaijan.  Sad  Norris was also very slow in the last race. Verstappen is getting closer to them more and more.

Still the gap is huge though... I guess McLaren would pull themselves together as of the upcoming race.

Fenerbahçe surprised everyone this evening. Most people expected them to win this match, but they lost.
Dinamo Zagreb took their chances well and won the game 3-1. In fact, they played the better football.

Despite Fenerbahçe having a very high-quality squad, the football they played was terrible. With this kind of performance, they won’t achieve success in either this tournament or the league.
There are also major problems with the players, and because of them, Tedesco might end up being sacked.
No real success can come from this team.

Indeed, they were horrible today... Especially that first goal they conceded was like a joke. Turkish teams are making such mistakes very often in European competitions I'm afraid.  Sad

We see that the gap between squad qualities doesn't matter all the time. It's all about how you play. I didn't like Tedesco's system at all. It clearly doesn't work. Probably he'll get sacked soon in this way.

Dembele was announced the winner very quickly.  Grin  They didn't even wait for some time to make it more exciting. Because it was already obvious to tell the truth.

Not only he had a great season but also he was the CL winner. This makes a huge impact on a player to step forward for this kind of prizes. Congrats to him!

For once I really thought maybe they might surprise us by giving it to Yamal...

The chelsea match ended in a dramatic 2-2 draw

They just lost points in a match they could have actually won... Even without Palmer I'm saying this if they started the match decently. But of course thankfully he came in on the pitch in the 2nd half!  Grin

Otherwise things might have been even worse. He made a direct impact on the match. But defending wasn't their best side today I'm afraid. Additionally they missed some important goal chances too. Some near 100% chances I'm talking about!

That was really a big upgrade for Red Bull though.  Tongue  I wasn't expecting it to be such an effective one that will make Max even win a race very comfortably.

And as for McLaren's team order, I don't know what to say. There'd be different opinions but I believe McLaren did right. Because their aim was to keep Norris ahead before pits already.

Ferrari couldn't show us much at home unfortunately... If Max wasn't this fast then maybe Leclerc could have finished on podium.

Ronaldo... 40 years old and still cooking at national team.  Cheesy

2 goals scored in an easy 5-0 win against Armenia. Their group is really comfortable for them. They are most likely to finish the qualifiers with the highest goal difference.

England still don't look convincing. Only 2 goals against Andorra. 11 shots in total. Tuchel's arrival hasn't also changed things much yet.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CONMEBOL 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification (South America) on: September 06, 2025, 08:34:03 PM
If Messi said this was his last national match then it was... I don't think he'll decide to come back there anymore. If he hadn't won a World Cup already then I'd have given it a real chance.

He is 38 years old and maybe he'd retire from professional football completely in the near future too, who knows. Argentina still has a player pool full of talents. I don't think they'll just start playing terrible or so.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Matchday 4 - Premier League Discussion Thread 2025/2026 on: September 06, 2025, 08:26:39 PM
I view the upcoming derby as an opportunity for Man City to adjust their new squad after the changes made during the summer transfer window. As a result, I don't expect the high-scoring events, but win is certainly possible. I'm particularly interested in seeing Donnarumma's performance at derby. A lot will depend on his skills. Will he be a full substitute for Ederson in the current season? Only time will tell.

Donnarumma didn't play for PSG this season. He played for the first time this season thanks to World Cup qualifiers. But still he'd lack fitness.

However I still think Guardiola will choose him for the next match in the PL. Trafford looks really hard to trust from now on.  Tongue

As for Ederson question, he must be the goalkeeper with most assists in this league. He did great in his time there. But I believe Donnarumma can raise the stake even at a higher level in time...

I can argue with you that Isak will make straight first 11, he was not signed with such high amount to be kept in bench, nobody make such investment. If the coach decides not to use him for the first few matches, that would be on the ground that they expect him to observe and blend into the team not that he is not fit. Although I agree with you that there will be a strong competition between him and Ekitike.

Straight into the starting 11? I don't feel so. I mean at least for the upcoming match. The opponent is Burnley though but Arne Slot might still not risk it. I expect to see him to enter in the 2nd half.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Lega Serie A 🇮🇹 (Italian League) Prediction Thread 2025/2026 ⚽ on: September 06, 2025, 12:16:57 PM
..

These are the matches for the next round of Serie A, starting immediately with a big match
Juventus vs Inter. I'm betting on a draw, and you?

It really feels like a draw match, doesn't it?  Grin  However I'd like to give a reminder. Juventus beat them home twice in the Serie A recently. This shouldn't also be overlooked. Juventus weren't incredible in the league those times either.

What about both teams to score? 1.88 odds given. 1.89 for BTTS: No. In both of those matches I mentioned Juventus didn't concede a goal. But I still want to take that risk. Better than placing a bet on Juventus / Inter I guess...
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2025/26 Season on: September 06, 2025, 12:04:04 PM
I've checked with which foreign managers Fenerbahçe have won a title in the Super League since 2000s.

Daum 2 times in a row and Zico once. That's all. The last time was in 2007. After that there are 2 more titles by them but got achieved by Turkish managers.

An interesting statistics about the league is that Turkish managers have become champions since the 2007/08 season. This also shows that this option is much better for Turkish teams considering league success.

Mate, what was that really? We had too much difficulty against Sweden. Literally one of the easiest opponents among the remaining teams...  Sad

Our defending was horrible. We were able to finish only Q3 ahead and won thanks to our performance in that one.

I couldn't see the same team who beat Serbia and completed the group without a loss. I hope we pull ourselves together in the 2-day break.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Matchday 4 - Premier League Discussion Thread 2025/2026 on: September 05, 2025, 09:15:23 PM
By the end of the national break, we're going to be tuned for a Manchester derby at Etihad.  Cool

The most surprising thing after 3 weeks is that Manchester United have started the season a little better (both are still a mess though). Guardiola was really desperate against Tottenham and Brighton both...

What do you think about this derby? I'd like to remind a thing. Amorim won here the last time and didn't lose to Guardiola in the last 2 league matches.
