There is the BLAST Premier Spring Final recently on CS2. Here is the current bracket:  G2 were eliminated in the group stage already after losing to Spirit and Vitality. However I wasn't expecting FaZe to say an early goodbye. Now in the semi finals there are 2 teams that previously secured their places in the World Final: Spirit and Natus Vincere. Because of that I would like to see Vitality or Virtus.pro winning the Spring Final to secure a place. I have missed the odds of Spirit v Vitality series. It is 1.70 for Natus Vincere and 2.00 for Virtus.pro now. I think it is worth giving Virtus.pro a shot. As a reminder, they already beat Natus Vincere once in last Major (2-0). |

We have left another lovely match behind. To tell the truth, I thought Hungary would make the match quite boring by playing very defensively.  But it didn't matter for Switzerland anyway, a comfortable win.  Now we have the main event of the day is ahead, Spain v Croatia. I didn't see any change in the odds for a long time. 1.91 for Spain while Croatia are given 4.40. Isn't the gap of odds too high you think?  Because I don't think Croatia will be easy meat. They are known by making serious difficulties for top teams. Probably we will see a ball possession game for Spain and Croatia will look for counter-attacks. I think Croatia have a chance to draw at least. |

Thanks for creating a new thread for new season.  I think it is better to do it this way unless it is a more general thread. New season is likely to be much more interesting than the last one. Because Fenerbahçe has made a really big move like signing Mourinho.  Ali Koç has been re-elected though but I still think they will be more competitive next time. I'm curiously waiting for transfers to be made by them and Galatasaray both this summer. Eyüpspor are going to be a team that I will be watching closely too. In Arda Turan's management they did great things in the 2nd league. They came here by lifting the trophy. |

Evet plansızlık konusunda ben de katılıyorum. Son dakika golleri ile kaç kere kazanmıştık. Başarı gelmiş miydi gelmişti tabi. O gün bugündür o kadar iyi bir seviyeye ulaşabildiğimizi hatırlamıyorum. Zaten bi 2002 Dünya Kupası bi de Euro 2008 gerçekten başarılı olduğumuz turnuvalardı. O dönemlerde ülkede futbol vardı, sadece diğer ülkelerden getirtilen yabancı oyuncuların performansını izleyerek geçirdiğimiz ligler yoktu. Altyapı çalışmaları daha iyiydi, gençler daha azimliydi, halk futbolu çok daha fazla benimsemişti. Şu anda sadece basit bir endüstri içerisindeyiz, futbol taraftarlarının yarısı federasyona güvenmediğinden maçlara bile bakmıyor artık. O dönemdeki kadromuz çok iyiydi ama bizi etkileyen şey sosyal medya falan da olmadan hep beraber ekran karşısına geçmemizdi. O günlerin tadını bir daha asla alamayacağız O dönemlerde kesinlikle futbola verilen önem daha yüksekti. Her şeyden önce de oyuncularımız milli takım başarısı için ellerinden gelenin en iyisini yapıyorlardı. Bugünlerde bunu tam olarak göremiyoruz. Çok fazla maçta ruhsuz oyun izlemişizdir. Yeni nesil oyuncular belki bu durumu değiştirirler. Hiçbir oyuncunun milli takımda paramı alayım geçeyim kenara der gibi oynamaması lazım. |

Unai Emery has done a fantastic job at Aston Villa but you have to question, is it sustainable? Maybe they will suffer with the pressure of CL games. Their squad maybe isnt that strong so with the extra games against high quality opposition maybe they get fatigued and injuries come.
Itll be really interesting to follow, I hope they continue to do well but we will see.
Emery is a wonderful coach. Wherever he goes he brings success to that team. Aston Villa is no different either indeed. Finishing in top 4 in the Premier League is never an easy job. Even some bigger teams failed this season. By the way is it true that Emery's contract expires by 2029? If it is then I believe it is just insane. This must be the longest manager contract I have ever seen. There is guarantee for him to stay that long but still you get my point. When I see our group with Portugal an Czechia, our Euro 2008 journey comes to my mind. Back then, these two were in our group and the only difference was the remaining team. We managed to beat Czechia with a dream comeback and qualified from the group thanks to that. The Czechia match is the last one once again so I wonder if a similar scenario will happen again... It was many years ago of course. But I still believe in our players to do their best for a qualification. By the way those times we even reached the semi finals but I'm not that hopeful in Euro 2024 to tell the truth. I wouldn't say no to be surprised though. |

They are also having different results in the career as football players as well. I remind you that how kompany helped burnley to play in EPL this season then he sends it back to the championship league again.  But only for now the comparison is like this. We don't know how much capable Kompany is with a much bigger team like Bayern Munich. Yes, it is the truth that he ended up relegating back to the Championship just after the season he promoted to the Premier League. But it was Burnley which he was managing. How strong were they? The squad didn't have good standards for the Premier League right? It is really not easy to keep such team in the first league there. I don't want to close the door to him already as a result. I'm enjoying this season more and more. The gap between Red Bull and others is closer now as you can see. Verstappen can't dominate every race that easy anymore which is great to see. I didn't understand why McLaren didn't call Norris to pit at the same time with his direct rivals when he had a great time advantage. I think Norris really deserved to win this race so no wonder why he was the "driver of the day". Another interesting thing was seeing Ferrari gamble with Leclerc's race. Why would you go for hards while it was still slippy and likely to rain more?? I can't imagine how frustrated Leclerc was after such a poor race. We don't know anything about how good Kompany would be while managing a big team. But if he turns out to be a really good one just as Xabi Alonso has, then a much better season is waiting for Bayern Munich.  Aside from that, you must have watched Bayern Munich against Real Madrid this year. Even while having problematic times with Tuchel they still caused big difficulties for Real Madrid. That comeback came really late in the match. If Bayern Munich have a better system to play consistently, I will definitely count them in the Champions League title race. Doesn't Kane deserve a championship already you think? |
