1  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: Today at 01:12:16 PM
So the break down below 60k happened but will it stay below it?  There are some words swirling around CT that it's the German government that's been selling down BTC.  Didn't really follow the news and no idea how they got a huge stack of BTC.  But the good news is they'll run out before the month ends.  So no...  I don't think BTC will stay below 60k for July.

Oh...  And let's all root for Spain in the Euros vs Germany!  5 - 0 Spain W one time!  Grin

As far as I know, the German government holds 50kBTC and this bitcoin is from their confiscation of the pirated movie website Movie2k. Recently, Arkham reported that the German government transferred a total of 1,300 BTC to Bitstamp, Coinbase, and Kraken. This is not the first time they have sold bitcoin, before that the German government also transferred this bitcoin to the exchange for the purpose of liquidation and the first time was on June 20.

The market has too much bad news but I also believe that this cannot last forever so we should not worry too much. It is inevitable that bitcoin will soon recover and continue to increase in price.

https://blockonomi.com/germany-liquidates-portion-of-50000-bitcoin-seized-from-pirate-website-movie2k/

Ah...  So they sent some BTC to an exchange and sold them around June 23 and 24 as we could see the long red candles in the chart.  Lol.

I guess the real question now is how much more BTC does the German government hold and how much of it do they intend to sell for July?  I don't think they'll just sell everything they have in one go and hitler the chart down to 22k or something.

Edit:  And btw...  Justin Sun says he's going to negotiate with the German government to buy their whole stack from them.  Not really sure if he's to be taken seriously tho.

Lol did you watch it yet?  Cheesy Cheesy  So hilarious.

Yeah, the interview part was surprisingly calm and everyone was so nice and composed... and then the staredown happened  Grin

Oh, yeah...  That's the part that made the face off hilarious.  At the press conference yeah, it seemed like Adesanya was more mature now without the cringe comments and the anime references.  And I was like 'oh cool I like this version of Adesanya now'.  But then yup...  Exactly!  The face off happened.  Lolol.

But it kinda added to the excitement tho.  Just seeing those guys on the stage and staring each other down changed my mind about the match up.

It is rumored that Ason Martin is doing another push for Adrian Newey.
They had a second meeting for trying to signing him before the end of the year.

For the moment he has not decided yet and he is working only in the RB17 hypercar.

Lance Stroll aslo said the past week that they are trying even he has not used these exact words.

I don't think he'll be interested in Aston Martin at his age rn.  If ever he's really gonna leave Red Bull, he'll prolly go for the glory and help get Ferrari back to winning a constructor's championship or go for a passion project and take a pay cut at Williams.  But dunno..  We'll see.  I'm still excited either way.

As for Horner, what's the latest with him?  It's starting to look like that he's winning the internal struggle within RBR and it's the Verstappens that are leaving the team.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 04, 2024, 12:06:43 PM
^  If ever Adesanya wins vs DDP and becomes champ at 185 again, I don't think the UFC would like to match him up vs Pereira again.  Not in 185 at least.  The weight cut is too draining for Pereria.

Anyway, did you guys watch the on sale press conference for 305?  I was like not really that excited for DDP vs Adesanya.  But after watching the intense and may mention hilarious face off, oh my...  I'm all for the match up!  LFG!  Cheesy Cheesy  They were like two little kids who are about to fight in the playground.

OK, you sparked my interest. I'll go and watch it now.

Lol did you watch it yet?  Cheesy Cheesy  So hilarious.

Anyway, no event this weekend.  Sucks..  But here's some vids to watch for the next PPV event.

UFC Free Fight:  Edwards vs Usman 3

UFC Free Fight:  Muhammad vs Brady

I think Muhammad is gonna make it boring and win via UD.

JEFF just made the strict list together with a memecoin called POINTS.  Lmao.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  So yeah...  The Hyperliquid devs basically are vouching that these memecoins are not scams.  So that's 3 out of 4 for our list at OP.

So yeah, I'm holding all 4 of those and a couple more.  One if called RUG and the other is called PUMP.  Lolol.  I hope these two won't fail me.  It's been going up so far tho.  I hope it does so until September.

Stay safe out there guys...

^  Please no rain.  At least not until the race.  I want the qualifying's result to be what it should be with either Verstappen or Norris at either pole or the second place on the grid.  But really, I hope no rain for the whole weekend in Silverstone.

And as for Prochazka, it looks like he isn't as good as what everyone thought him to be.

Or could it be that Pereira is really that good?

It's possible that Jiri failed to prepare himself mentally. It's not easy after losing to the same guy by TKO not that long ago. Jan Blachowicz said he knew Prochazka would lose after he saw him smiling at Pereira before the fight, something he would never do in his previous fights. A little detail like that can be very telling.

As for Ige Vs Lopes, they're both ranked 13th and 14th respectively, I don't think the ranking has yet been updated after the event, so they'll probably switch places. Career-wise, accepting that fight was a great move for both of them, Dana White sang some praises for them both in the post-fight conference and said he'll do anything for them. So likely both of them will get a chance to face higher-ranked opponents in their next fights.

That could be it too.  Would love to see Pereira go up against a guy who's good at wrestling and a tough Russian dude who happens to have the name Ankalaev. Lolol.  I think he's the only guy next in line before he moves up to heavyweight to take on all comers or maybe go straight to Jon Jones even.  That would be something especially if Jones wins vs Aspinall and makes it looks easy.

As for Diego Lopez's next fight, I think after what he was shown against Ige he needs to prove himself vs somebody lower in the rankings...  Like a rematch vs Elvoev.  Pretty sure Evloev would like to run it back after what happened in the first match.  Cheesy

Ankalev already said he would fight Pereira and would not wrestle him when they fight. Grin
Jiri maybe is not really that good at taking down opponents but when he tried it recently, what Pereira did was just level down with him and throw jabs to his face. Pereira could also do this to all the wrestlers he'll meet in the octagon. Preventing them from trying. If the level of wrestling is like Islam kind, Pereira will be beaten badly.

If Pereira already wants to make big money, he would be skipping Ankalev and just fight in the HW either Aspinall or Jones if possible. This would be his best route and then retire.

Oh...  Wrong strat for Ankalaev.  Lolol.  And taking down Pereira doesn't have to be a double leg or a single leg.  Ankalev likes doing body lock take downs.  So there's no dipping the head there.

GUYS...  After the eventful race past weekend and how Norris prevented Verstappen and Red Bull from winning their home race, I don't think I've ever been more excited for the next race.  And it's perfectly slated to be in Silverstone.  Grin Grin Grin

If any F1 fan out there stopped watching cos you're bored, at least watch this next one.  It's gonna be goooood.  Wink

I heard Hamilton taught Norris a couple of tricks for the first and second turn.  Cheesy Cheesy

12  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 02, 2024, 01:05:18 PM
^  Yeah...  And a couple of guys itt said that BTC could go below 60k but it prolly won't stay there for long as it's a point where everybody starts buying it up.  And I gotta say, it's hard to disagree.

And the votes are 0 - 7 just on the first day.  Lol.  I don't think you guys have voted this unanimously before.

Anyway, it looks like it's gonna go on a small sell down before going back up again...  Stay safe out there guys.

14  Economy / Speculation / BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 01, 2024, 01:27:50 PM
So yeah, judging from June's sentiment poll, I feel like a lot of you guys have become a bit bearish on BTC.  Honestly I do too, but could the recent buy up on BTC for the last couple of days be a sign that the bottom is in?  I don't really know..  Lol.  But what do you guys think?  Below 60k or is the bottom in?

Here's the monthly chart...  It still doesn't look all that bad imho.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Memecoins at Hyperliquid That Could Make it Big on: July 01, 2024, 01:12:01 PM
^  I'm not really that good too.  Cheesy Cheesy  But it's the points campaign that's propping up most of the memecoins in Hyperliquid spot.  So it's easier to pick winners.  The problem now is which tokens move faster on average and which ones are the laggards.  Evdn if you pick a laggard, you're still good as the price action is positive.  Lol.

But yeah, it is what it is...  Fade or follow, up to you guys.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 01, 2024, 01:03:04 PM
^  It just shows that Lopes isn't really that ready to fight the top guys in the UFC.  And I haven't checked yet but I don't think Ige isn't really that high in the list in his weight class.  Prolly in the top 10 but outside the top 5..?  And he is one weight class below Lopes.

And if it was Ortega in there, sure it might be a close fight...  But then again Ortega is the underdog.  And as for Prochazka, it looks like he isn't as good as what everyone thought him to be.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Memecoins at Hyperliquid That Could Make it Big on: June 30, 2024, 01:06:57 PM
If you guys are still not playing around Hyperliquid spot tokens then I think you guys should start now. It's starting to pick up steam with most of spot starting to go up.  PURR also looks like it has bottomed out.  Don't miss out...  And what's really good about it is you get some points every Friday to qualify for Hyperliquid's airdrop.

I'm not just yapping here.  I'm telling you guys, it's good.

libert19 tell them.  Cheesy Cheesy
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 30, 2024, 12:52:24 PM
Max Verstappen destroyed everyone.
In the sprint race, Norris got an opportunity overtaking him but he got hyped and he ruined everything after few turns.
In the qualy, he was on another planet, he umiliated the others.

The race will be fun however in this track when you can overtake.

We'll see...  Verstappen and Red Bull looks like they're on a roll.  The race could be good but not really expecting much from the guys behind Verstappen.  Hopefully we'll see Norris win for the lulz tho.

Anyway, race is in 8 minutes! LFG!

And I just checked the odds.  Rofl they have Verstappen at 1.05.  I don't think the bookies would give this line if they thought there's a slight chance he'll lose.  Cheesy Cheesy
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 30, 2024, 12:45:41 PM
^  If Ortega was healthy I think he would've won vs Lopes who couldn't even finish or make it 30 - 27 against Ige who went in there on like a few hours short notice.

Here are the results.  Things to take note are Ian Machado Garry was shown to be not as good as everybody thinks he is.  He's a couple of fights away of getting his first loss.  Payton Talbott could be a legit prospect.  We need to see him tested against a tough vet.  Tsuruya isn't as good as where the bookies lined him at.  And Simon could go on a skid.

Alex Pereira def Jiri Prochazka  TKO R2
Diego Lopes def Dan Ige  UD
Roman Dolidze def Anthony Smith  UD
Macy Chiasson def Mayra Bueno Silva  TKO R2
Ian Machado Garry def Michael Page  UD
Joe Pyfer def Marc-Andre Barriault  KO R1
Andre Fili def Cub Swanson  SD
Jean Silva def Charles Jourdain  KO R2
Payton Talbott def Yanis Ghemmouri  KO R1
Gillian Robertson def Michelle Waterson Gomez  UD

20  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 29, 2024, 01:51:10 PM
There are two scenarios to consider for July: or the news of Mt. Gox redistribution, US and Germany holdings have already impacted the market negatively, so no further damage will be done in July, or such events are still going to have a negative impact over Bitcoin price in July. The first scenario is the best for Bitcoin, because it gives us room for a positive trend as soon as possible.

Without any impacts from those events on the radar, Bitcoin can flourish once again and return to the 70,000$ zone next month. On the other hand, if the market remains bearish for fear and uncertainity, the same we saw in June can repeat in July, delaying the bull trend only for the Q4 of 2024.

Yup, it's not looking good bruv.  Lol.  But still excited to see what's in store for July.  If it all goes down then so be it.  I guess we'd just have to work at it again.  But I'm really starting to hate the process.  Been in crypto for so long and going degen on these markets sometimes takes a toll.  I should've just held everything I had and logged off the internet.  Lolol.

But it is what it is.
