Why I dont see discussiin about UFC 300 main event fight? I remember someone here asked for predictions, but I have told that I dont want to do that because I dont want to get disappointed, because we wont get what we want. Now its Pereira vs Hill. Honestly, I am disappointed. I have expected something that wall drop my jaw and I would be speachless. Now it is just a good fight. But honestly not a fight of a round/anniversary level.
Yup same... I really thought the UFC was gonna get a bunch of money and deploy Jon Jones to fight Tom Aspinall. That would've been a sweet champ vs interim champ match up for sure. Buf can't really complain since the PPV card is stacked. Despite the fact that I have been bypassing the Cosmos blockchain for a very long time, but still I decided to staking coins such as TIA, Atom, Osmo and Pyth. What is the optimal number of coins I need to buy for staking so that I theoretically have the right to new airdrops in the Cosmos ecosystem?
Nobody really knows as that decision of how much tokens should get eligibility depends from protocol to protocol. But what I can say is just stake as high of an amount you can afford and leave some stables for your trading, investing and what not. If you want a definite answer, Alt Layer required at least 35 TIA to get eligibility. So I guess stake more than 35 TIA tokens..? Dunno but I'd start with that number if I wasn't sure. Anyway, looks like TIA, ATOM, PYTH are the solid ones to stake. I'm going to transfer some DYM to PYTH after DYM's initial pump. Edit: Help me out. But the .005 thing is fair. They need to filter out sybils
Users had hundred/thousand dollars worth lps, or in different tokens like usdc, but they were filtered out because they didn't have it in Ether. I say it was mistake, it was chain's token airdrop so count the user's all holdings on your chain. Trying to filter is sybils is alright, but no project can have success with it, it's better for project if they just go with it, and consider them testers for their chain. Even if farmers sell, someone buys, and it's only a win. Some projects fear dump of token but if the project itself is good, price will recoup sooner or later. In that case, it's totally unfair and they should've done a better job with the .005 ETH thing. Like even if an address has less than .005 but it has a high transaction volume and has more than say 1000 bucks LP'd for more than a month or so then that address gets an airdrop. I think Stark devs got lazy which is why I think the Layer Zero devs might get it right as they're taking their time working on getting it right. Hopefully I get in. Btw, I just watched the replay of ONE FC's latest event. It was in Muai Thai but omfg... It was a banger! I think it was scheduled for 5 but it lasted just until the third and man it was mayhem from start to finish. I also think that he is making a fool out of everyone. Because he knows that Dana White still thinks she is very important for generating money in the UFC. And he also needs attention for people to get a look at him whiskey business. He also probably has other business. So he does need attention. And of course, he is also into movies now. I don't see him being a successful actor. Because in general people do not find so much success in multiple careers.
Anyway, maybe I am talking a little too soon. Maybe he will be able to do well and forget more acting gigs. But I don't think he's going to be as successful as he was with his fighting in the UFC in his acting career.
I really think you are just speculating about Conor McGregor and how he does things, I think that even if he returned to the UFC he would not amount to anything or he would not be doing great for me he is already past his prime he just needs to accept the fact that he can not do it anymore, and he should have pursue his acting career as I think he will be big in the villainous roles for me he really fits the bill in those roles as he is natural in acting those roles, and stop his dream that he can return and become champion in the UFC because I think that is not going to happen after the Chandler fight he should quit immediately because if he continues and fight opponent that is on a different level than his, his charisma might get depleted just like what happen with Colby Covington because I think after that Leon Edwards fight his credibility and his charisma surely depleted when he lost.
Now UFC 298 sure will be an exciting event to watch and judging with the cards now Alexander Volkanovski VS Ilia TopuriaRight now the odds are inlay for Volkanovski and it was 1.82 for Volk and 2.00 for Topuria still close odds for both fighters but right now this is really interesting as Volkanovski has now 2 losses against Islam Makhachev and ever since then Volkanovski might have an issue with his drinking and the way he thinks when making a decision I think that is a big aspect in why he losses against Makhachev, while Ilia Topuria got some great skills and is undefeated right now this is a big fight for him as Volkanovski has proven that he is a better fighter in this division so for sure this is going to be a hard fight for Topuria while both fighters are technical this will be a fight if a certain fighter made a mistake it is his lost, for this fight I am siding with the younger and the underdog Ilia Toporia. Robert Whittaker VS Paulo CostaFor this fight Whittaker still has the edge on the odds, 1.41 for Whittaker and 2.95 for Costa, it is clear that Paulo Costa has more of an edge in the strength department but we can not say if with this advantage he is clearly going to win this as Robert Whittaker can up his strike output and could win this by decision as Robert Whittaker has a great insight with his striking technicality while I think Whittaker will be having a hard time in taking Costa to the ground but for me Robert Whittaker will win this by decision. Merab Dvalishvili VS Henry CejudoFor this fight, Dvalishvili has gained more popularity and odds than Cejudo for this fight there are many saying that Mebab has better wrestling and has a greater gas tank than Cejudo, for sure this is one of the most interesting match-ups and I am really curious about what may happen with this one, for me I really think that Henry Cejudo should have stayed retired and don't need to return to the UFC, but for this a much younger version of Cejudo, but for me I think that Merab Dvalishvili can win this even though the fight is on standing so my pick will be Merab Dvalishvili gaining a win against Cejudo. Nice leans and those are the most likely winners except Topuria, the main event could be close. But if we look at line value there's an argument to pick Cejudo at 3.30, Neal at 3.05, Costa at 3.05 and Volk at 1.87. I picked two names that's not likely to score a goal because it happens every weekend. Doesn't really matter that you picked the most likely goal scorers, there's always a couple of guys you don't know that could get one in. And for this weekend, I got Harrisson and Gordon.

Yes, indeed, there were many dissatisfied with the way the airdrop was distributed. And accordingly, all the negativity is created by such dissatisfied people who believe that the team has wrongfully deprived them of their reward. But actually Starknet did not come up with any new criteria, taking as a basis the Arbitrum, in which the hold of 0.005 ETH was also a necessary criterion, however, as with Celestia. Mmm I don't think I had .005 ETH in my wallet at the time when I received my airdrop as I already stopped playing around Arbitrum. But the .005 thing is fair. They need to filter out sybils... I think the next step towards acheiving this is for devs to start looking into established communities of highly valued NFT's. There's this NFT called the Pikenians that had a public mint at .1 SOL or something crazy low like that and it's now valued over 7 SOL because of the future potential of gaining eligibility for future airdrops. It's crazy and funny how things are in crypto rn. |

They been promising to launch their mainnet for years now, and people still mining away at these tokens that don't got any actual value yet. Seems like a waste of time if you ask me. Look, maybe I'm being too harsh here but I just don't see how they gonna make this work long-term. They gotta figure out some way to make the tokens useful for folks, or the economy they trying to build just wont be sustainable. Sure they got a buncha followers right now, but that's mostly cuz people wanna cash out their Pi for real money someday. What happens when that don't work out? Nah... You're just being real. For the guys who are keeping their hopes up of making some money out of this, it ks prolly better to start looking elsewhere. There's a lot of opportunties out there if you know where to look. Listen to the guys in the forum like libert19 and tvplus006. Read their old posts and try to found out who they've interacted within the forum who brings the info and learn from them too. It would be a big risk for Mercedes to give a 17-year-old a place in the works team. What do you think about the possibility of the 17 year old being parked at Williams in the first season, but don't really know which Williams driver could play a role at Mercedes in the meantime? Yup def a risk. But if he's really a prodigy and they're willing to put up with the recklessness of youth then I couldn't see why not. Red Bull did it with Verstappen and he got himself in somewhat a lot of dicey spots during his younger years as a driver. But then look at him now, he turned into one of the best drivers F1 has ever seen. But the pure fan in me wants to see either Alonso or the return of Vettel to take the second drive in Mercedes. |

^ It is a bit concerning that Dana White seemingly has no idea what UFC 300 is going to do for a main event and everyone keeps asking him about it. His behavior leaving a podcast yesterday after his intro sort of displayed his frustration. Everyone wants the biggest UFC event of all time and Dana doesn’t even know if Conor will be able to fight by then or not.
Even if McGregor is able to fight, he's not really a draw of high magnitude anymore. The guy is washed as seen twice vs Poirier. There's just nothing he can do... He is past his prime. :/ What the UFC could do is pay Jon Jones a bunch of money to return earlier than intended to fight Tom Aspinall. That would be a good match up. Lol don't think so. They had one of the best CTO's in F1 in Binotto but what they lacked was good leadership and a good strategist. Horner could bring it and if Newey tags along with him and with Hamilton now with the team..? Omg, they def will win titles and I'm here for it. It's been a while since that first Verstappen win. I want to see some excitement back in F1 again. And is it just me or is it really in the realms of possbility that Vettel will be Red Bull's next team principal? There were some signs he was going to be while he was driving for them. He was always known to be in the garage with the engineers or with Horner trying to learn more about the ins and outs of the team. RBR is stong cause of Newey, he is the Messi of the F1. True... But that doesn't take away anything from Horner as one of the best team principals the sport has ever seen or Verstappen is one of the best drivers we've ever seen drive an F1 car. Remember that it didn't just take Newey to win podiums and championships... It took the whole team to do it. I doubt Newey would get the same accolades if the driver and the team principal weren't so good. :/ F1 is a team sport more than it's let on because all we see most of the time are the drivers and all the cameras are mostly pointed at the race. |

 2 months to go and we still don't know what the main event is. Is the poster a sign of one of the fighters featuring in the fight or is it just a model? He does look a bit like DDP but I doubt he'll fight so soon again. What are the bitcointalk MMA experts speculating? What will be the headline for 300? If it's DDP then who would be the opponent? I think the only guy who could be a huge draw is Adesanya as he and DDP has some 'who's the real African' beef going on. Would def watch that but from a match making perspective it doesn't make any sense to give Adesanya the shot as he lost royally vs Strickland. Would've been a different story if the fight was close. Oh and some guys say PYTH stakers could some W airdrop. Not really sure but that would be sweet as I have a little bit staked.
