1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some stable altcoins ? on: July 23, 2018, 12:47:45 PM
There are more than 1000 altcoins in the market. What do you think for the most stable altcoins?
the rate of the Ether corresponds to market sentiments. This ensures a stable increase in value, but does not allow you to break a big jackpot at a sharp price jump. The stability of the course can be judged by the words of the creator Vitalik Buterin. He said that a sharp price jump could lead to a slowdown of the system. Such statements cause the community confidence in the development and implicitly contribute to a restrained increase in the value of the coin.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins for hold on: July 23, 2018, 12:36:20 PM
What coins do you suggest for long-term holding? Bitcoin and Ethereum excluded.
Montero's currency is somewhat inferior in popularity to financial giants, as described above, although it appeared more than three years ago.Distinctive feature - perspective: since Monero only enters the market and grows less rapidly, the period of growth of this currency is likely to be more protracted, but also more stable.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH or LTC long term? on: July 23, 2018, 12:33:31 PM
Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Thanks
Litecoin
The growth forecast is estimated by most experts as positive, and now lightbox is included in the listings of the overwhelming mass of stock exchanges and exchange sites, and is recognized by many well-known companies.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin or litecoin ? on: July 23, 2018, 12:29:47 PM
Well? Let's hear it.

Bitcoin (BTC) is the world's first crypto currency, which is now also the most popular. The drawback is that the bulk of bitcoins has already been "worked out"; However, the currency still maintains a tendency to a possible growth, as evidenced by the recent take-off of its rate to almost six thousand dollars.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold coins in 2018 on: July 23, 2018, 12:10:30 PM
How long should we hold coins?
In the past 3 weeks, despite all the risks, many investors have hold a large number of coins such as TRX, XVG, XRP, ADA, etc. ranging from good to bad coins including DGB, DOGE.

Getting back a little bit with the psychology of human beings: we are always afraid but very pleasure when others talk about profit. When some coin prices are falling, you only see the negative things in it: "It will surely keep falling, so it’s better to stay away". When it turns back up: "It will plunge again sooner or later?" But when it's high up then: "It will no longer fall".

As an investor, you will have to understand a coin before investing money in it. You should evaluate and consider everything before making the decision to buy and hold for a long term (for 6 months to 1 year , or at least 3 months for the most impatient investors). Because one cycle of increase / decrease of a coin usually lasts for 2 months, understanding coin will give you confidence, psychological preparedness before facing the falling prices

The criteria to assess a coin:
1. General information about that coin
2. The purpose of generating the coin
3. The dev team (do more or say much)?
4. What is the current product? In what stage?
5. Are there existing customers? Potential customers?
6. Vision of future coin? Is it realistic or just expressed in words?
7. Scalability?  Can it be accepted by the public? Is it possible to apply to everyday life?

I spend little time tracking the prices. Most of the time is spent on reading news, evaluating coins to make investment decisions. I also spend only 10-15 minutes on technical analysis (It’s not because I view it as unimportant, I’m just get used to it). As a result, I have bought a lot of coin at a very good price. I bought when you were there saying: how can it increase again. I left you far behind, at present, it is greatly safe for all my investments because my investment value has increased by several to tens of times.

You can say whatever in case of rising price, even when you invest in shitcoin. However, when the price falls this low, my balance seems to keep stable thanks to my calculation and comprehensive knowledge about coins. Once investing in a coin, I strongly believe in its future. I choose the right time to buy more coins without any fear of risk!

So how long to hold coins? The answer is that you go learn more thoroughly and comprehensively about the coins you want to invest in and make your decisions.

Especially attracted by Ripple. The transfer of money in this crypt is so fast and cheap that it has already attracted the attention of banking structures of different countries. The ether also has a high demand. After his "birth", this crypt quickly gained momentum, so confidently burst into the top three, staying there for a long time.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin would you prefer to be paid in? on: July 23, 2018, 11:26:35 AM
Assuming you're doing remote gigs or remote work. What altcoin would you choose?

I think Ripple is a great choice because of how fast it is.

Thoughts?
Monero will be the only crypto-exchange platform that combines a high level of anonymity and extremely low fees for translations. In addition, with the introduction of BulletProof, the load on the cluster will be significantly reduced and overall network performance will be improved.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero a Good Investment? on: July 23, 2018, 11:25:19 AM
Dear bitcoin community,

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.

Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.

So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?

I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

I deeply appreciate your contribution on this thread.
Monero. This project has implemented the most advanced cryptography technologies to provide completely private calculations between users, and many unorthodox steps have been taken to make it impossible to track the transaction history.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin now you think had a good future on: July 19, 2018, 08:53:30 PM
Like the title, what coins do you think will have a good future because now it's a lot of coins and not a few of those coins that fail
What do you think ?
What coin do you think will have good future ?
NEO is a blockbuster platform for the development of digital assets and smart contracts. The project was founded in 2014 in China and is often called the "Chinese Ethereum".
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO NEO NEO on: July 19, 2018, 08:52:35 PM
NEO is open chain Chinese block chain based on smart contract and highly growing coin.It supports smart economy. Its being traded on more exchanges, easy access to NEO.Its China Ethereum.Today many ICO launched on NEO platform.I have researched a lot on NEO & conclude that investment in NEO is highly profitable especially currently its price is low and in upcoming years if we hold NEO its price would increase tremendously. If the NEO consultant continued research work on NEO i am sure that in coming few years it would be comparable to ETH.What you say.....
NEO tokens can be bought and sold on a large number of crypto-exchange exchanges. Easy access gives NEO greater credibility in the eyes of the general public, and also makes the coin more accessible to the multitude of people starting to be interested in crypto-currencies.
The size of the market. China, with a population of more than 1.4 billion people and the second largest economy in the world, offers a huge number of opportunities for crypto-currency projects. If NEO can become the platform that Chinese developers choose, this will give a certain potential for increasing the rate of the NEO token.

What cryptocurrency should I buy now?
NEO Blockchain can process up to 1000 operations per second. NEO is much faster and has a higher scalability potential. The financial NEO ecosystem consists of two tokens; NEO and NeoGas. NEO represents the right of ownership, as well as the right to vote for the purpose of consensus.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs NEO vs EOS on: July 19, 2018, 08:47:08 PM

Which coin or all coins would you choose for your portfolios, and why?
Price jumps are well smoothed due to unlimited ethering. Second place in popularity makes the air less attractive for speculators. The inhabitants of the etherium are less well-informed. Accordingly, he has a quieter news background, which has less effect on stock prices.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum VS Dieci on: July 19, 2018, 08:46:09 PM
Ethereum - POW(POS in future), centralize trends
Dieci - BlockchainX Algo, decentralized and scalable

do you think it can beat ethereum? I do
The fundamental difference between the ether and bitcoin is reliable insurance against the collapse of the course. Unlike the bitcoin, which is not backed by anything, the etherium is in demand as an "expendable material" for projects based on the blockbuster. This demand sets a certain lower level, which is able to protect the crypto currency from depreciation. While the platform is interesting for entrepreneurs and they are ready to pay for it, the rate will continue to grow.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why hold ethereum on: July 19, 2018, 08:43:40 PM
If I could pick one crypto that suits for holding, that would be ethereum. Do you agree that this one is good for a holder ?

It's more established than other alts in the market and  companies are adopting it.
If we consider ether as an asset, then its future is determined by the same factors as the future of any real currency (dollar, euro, etc.). Therefore, its future is determined by a variety of factors, starting with articles in the media and ending with the growth rate of the economy. Therefore, he, like others, must go through four periods: growth, stability, decline and oblivion. The question is only in terms.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN vs ETH ? Your thoughts? on: July 19, 2018, 08:42:51 PM
BITCOIN vs ETH ? your thoughts ?
. The ether here is a means of payment for access to the services of the system. If the company has a need to transfer projects to the block, he has to buy or mine ETH. Therefore, the prospects of the etherium are closely related to the future of block-technology. She also has the chance to completely replace the centralized projects, concentrated in the same hands.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: July 19, 2018, 08:42:15 PM
Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?
Despite the greater similarity, Bitcoin and Ethereum have fundamental differences. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency that represents the final product. Digital alternative to money. Efirium - a platform designed for the implementation of projects with blockbuster services and smart contracts. Thus, the forecast of the price for the etherium is determined not only by interest in the crypto currency as an alternative means of payment. Ethereum is the equivalent of the cost of a popular digital service.

At the moment, the etherium (ETH) has managed to overtake thousands of other crypto-currencies and win the second place in the market. The rapid growth of the rate only fuels the interest of investors. More and more people are engaged in the etherium, and the prognosis of his course is occupied by the minds of all participants in cryptology.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: July 18, 2018, 08:26:14 PM
Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"
Ethereum is positioned more as a platform than a currency, and given the growing number of decentralized applications, it can be a really good investment for the future.Ethereum is an open platform based on blocking technology, which focuses on running the program code of any decentralized application (also called "Dapps").
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoin be as important as Bitcoin? on: July 18, 2018, 08:19:11 PM
In any ecosystem, be it in nature or business, there is always a competition. And most often than not, the best always rises to the top. And here in our crypto ecosystem, a competition do also exist. Between Bitcoin and Altcoin. We all very well known that bitcoin, being the first and most proven cryptocurrency already took the center stage in crypto market. Now that altcoins came into the picture, where does it really stands? What will be the selling point of altcoin that will eventually led the bitcoin enthusiasts to finally switch places?
The recent initiative of China is a vivid confirmation. But we see that the crypto-currency market is becoming more resistant to such shocks, and investments in these technologies will be very profitable for a long time. The main thing is to be able to correctly see and analyze the situation.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum, Ripple or Litecoin? on: July 18, 2018, 08:15:16 PM
What is the best choice regarding investing in these coins? Lately I have sold my Ethereum and now I am waiting for the right moment to buy them again, but shall I also buy Ripple and Litecoin?
At the end of September, Ethereum expects the first phase of the protocol update called Metropolis. Experts in the field of crypto currency forecast that this will lead to a sharp jump in the rate of Ethereum, which may well bring the air to the rank of the most profitable and reliable crypto currency.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding EOS? on: July 12, 2018, 02:55:07 PM
EOS is a new block chain architecture introduced by the software http://EOS.IO, which aims to realize the performance extension of distributed applications. Notice that it is not like COINS and etheric fang is money, but on http://EOS.IO tokens issued on a software project, known as block chain 3.0 (from the network), solely on the rules of the development and direction of the above, we can know the grand goal of the EOS, the etheric lane has been very successful from virtual currency to a variety of applications, but also the basis of limited to 2.0, and EOS is in the etheric lane 3.0 model developed on the basis of block chain, what is block chain 3.0? The simple idea is to apply the block chain technology to any field in our reality, which is the practical application of block chain 3.0 in reality.

If the EOS can actually implement the application of block chain 3.0, it is highly likely that the powerful EOS will surpass ETH's value in the future. There are also reports that EOS has raised billions of dollars in funding, and that enthusiasm is not far behind any of the previous blockchain technology and virtual currency. However, since the current EOS main network has not been launched, it is only a trend, so it is necessary to know whether the EOS can achieve the desired effect or whether the EOS will be online.

At present, it seems that EOS can surpass ETH, and if it does operate according to the block chain 3.0 mode, I think it is very likely. However, the hypothesis and the practical application are two different things, so it is only after the EOS is fully implemented that the results can be obtained.
High performance EOS network, which can handle up to 100 thousand transactions per second due to the use of an advanced confirmation mechanism.
EOS supports several programming languages, including C ++.
The company staff consists of experienced specialists.
