That might be true, but we are not so close to blockchain getting into mainstream, we still have to see real application of blockchain based projects in everyday life.Those crypto based debit cards came closest to the real use, but we can see new projects on the daily basis and in a few years we might see real mainstream application. Well you already have mainstream applications like apps for buying crpyto, though they are like a bridge between crypto and fiat. You have tippin.me and you can use it to tip people on Twitter for their good tweets. Tippin.me is fun, but I would not really call it a mainstream app, at least not yet. When more projects like Faba invest in more startups and startups get more support in crypto space and easier access to funding there will be more apps created and that should lead to more apps that might become mainstream. |

That is actually good question,but for that to be possible AFABA teams should have huge amount of tokens and i doubt that is viable in long run.I personally wouldnt mind getting either ETH or BTC as dividend. ETH is the currency that will be used to pay out the dividends, you can check it in WP. Thanks for that,and it really makes sense to offer ETH and FABA as this is long term project,and there is no indefinite amount of faba tokens like its with ETH We chose ETH as the default currency payout because we want our currency to grow with our platform rather than being subjected to only market speculation. However, in the future, we will enable the possibility of users cashing dividends in Faba tokens. How often will these payouts happen? Is it going to be on the quarterly basis or maybe on the yearly? I'm not in the hurry btw, I'm just curious  That really depends on a lot of factors, tied to so many things.It is all bout exit strategy and quality of the company involved, kind of profit they pull, is the company in expansion and on and on. Probably midnight is when the sale ends, when new date rolls in. I thought that there will be break between rounds 1 and 2,that wont continue imemdiately. Of course there is a break in between. For how long will break last before ico phase 2 begins? 2nd round of FABA STO(not ICO) starts on March 1st,so few more weeks . The more people learns about Faba the better."2nd round should be even better, minimum is really high to participate so any sale made will be a good sale. What is the minimum investment for second round? If I remember correctly, minimum to participate in the nest round of sales should be around 1300 USD, so break that piggy bank for the 2nd round of sales. |

I noticed that it is mentioned that Faba hold up to 40% shares in each company that was invested in.Does that mean if additional 11% shares is bought in future Faba could own those companies?
Well FABA would surely become major shareholder in those companies and have a say what happens within those companies. Don't know how would that translate to us as investors in Faba companies.Most likely nothing significant would change for us though. Maybe FABA wont go over 40% in order not to become major shareholder as that might complicate things even more.Its an interesting question though,im curious to hear what teams thinks about that. It might complicate few things, but if there is profit, there is profit. I'm very interested in this topic. Would that kind of situation potentially open some situations where manipulation and conflict of interest becomes possible? |

If exchanges are coming in Q3 and we barely started with Q1 i dont think that they have anything negoatied already.And on top of that, exchanges usually ask for NDA so teams can rarely announce in advance name of the exchange.
No need to rush with listings as you say.I am much more interested in which market are going to be the primary target, type of companies with examples that will be targeted for investing.Hopefully team will show us some things like that i near future so we can make more educated decisions about our invested funds. What type of research will be offered to us about companies offered for investing or we will have to research on our own and similar things... Iakes sense that team prepares s some info,as they can dug much deeper than us into some company.But of course,we will have to do own reasearch too,atleast i to do that,i wont rely only on faba team info. Everyone is better of if they rely on themselves and think with their own head, no question about it, but Faba as a team needs to show what kind of companies they plan to offer for voting.You can't vote on company if it is not offered by Faba on the platform, that is why it is important to know what kind of offers they plan to introduce to investors. |

I got faba tokens too,but somehow i got it 2 times,but with different contract address.Anyone knows whats that about? Maybe it was some kind of a bug? Why you decided to switch on POS? Isnt ethereum blockchain good enough for your purposes,especially now with these changes that are coming?
I think it is because Agate has its iFiat Ecosystem for handling and nullifying volatility when it comes to payments and need it's own blockchain for that. Isn't Agate code open source? Or just the app? Couldn't that be translated to Etherium blockchain too? How would we then have POS if Agate was on ETH blockchain? Agate will move to their wn blockchain this quarter.POS is the future,even ethereum will eventually switch. Etherium is already making moves, hard fork should happen on 16th. Does that mean that there will be no more mining of ETH ? That will affect the price a lot right? No, there is still mining.This is not a switch to POS, but a move towards it.Just a few implementations of few EIP's to make ETH scale better, be faster. Can you tell the incentives that you plan to offer to merchants and regular users to use Agate? How many users do you expect to have using the platform in first 6 months after the launch?
This will be the key problem, to get all those retailers on board, and so far we see that they are doing good job regarding that. It is a good thing that Agate is getting those big retailer chains with them,it will be much easier to attract smaller ones later on,when they see that big chains are using Agate solutions. The most important question is what is the point for networks to switch to this method of payment? I do not see any normal business owner and who knows how to count the numbers who would agree to work under such conditions. Lower fees i think, as usually card companies take 2-3% from every transaction,an with agate having much lower fees,it should pay off easily. What will be the fee for transaction on agate platform? Transaction fee will be 0.1 AGT. Thats considerably less than standards fees. That is almost as having no fees if we are being honest here. If there is such a low fee, how will the miners then earn from mining AGT? I think there will be no mining when it comes to Agate. Agate will be POS. Cool, so we can stake AGT.What will we need to be able to stake AGT? Only hold AGT and have a wallet or? Since it will be proof of stake system,it will be abit more complicated than that. Yeah, it won't be a wallet kind of staking, it will be staking through pools. How will that work? I have never tried staking that way before, usually you have a wallet and you put it in the staking mode and that is it.How much AGT do we need to stake? Is 1 AGT for example going to be enough to theoretically stake? When Agate main net is released then you will have more public pools and you will be able to join them and then stake your AGT in one of the pools you choose. If that option is not for you, you can also run your own masternode instead. What are the requirements to run your own masternode? I presume it won't be cheap to run one on your own. You will need to have 50k AGT tokens to run the masternode, so if you pick up the calculator you will see that it will actually be cheaper the most of the masternodes so far. |

How you plan to keep on making money to be able to run this applications, what will be the source of revenue?
Hi SpockSenior Our main source of income will be verification fees. Do we know how much will verification fee be in the end? I believe that is not determined yet, probably it depends on projections that still need to be calculated after sale. Will verification fee be a one time thing? Like I verify my document and I don't have to pay ever again to re-verify for something else? It will be a one time fee and once verified people can share it for any service and free of cost. |

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but by the pictures on agate website, seems to me that Mastercard will issue their cards. I can see something similar to mastercard logo on their card, maybe that's the clue.
I dont know anything about mastercard but admin on telegram group told me that we can expect cards after mainnet relase,so that means in Q1 2019.They mentioned Intercash as one of the solutions they plan to use for now. Well for a project like Agate it makes sense to go for a card, otherwise the benefits of the iFiat Ecosystem wouldn't be fully utilized. What is iFiat Ecosystem? Does that require a credit card to work or not? iFiat Ecosystem does not require a credit card at all, but it would be even more attractive if Agate had a credit card, lets put it like that. Regarding iFiat Ecosystem itself, it uses decentralised blockchain technology (Agate blockchain) to resolve many of the fundamental issues in the cryptoeconomy, which will facilitate transactions very economically and in real-time. A credit card? And who is going to provide that credit line? Do you mean something like a prepaid card? This is very different to a credit card. VISA and so on, they provide real credit to you. I think that in the long run, safest bet is Mastercard, but who knows what will future bring. I think these companies are more likely to start their own chain rather than supporting projects that actually seek to reduce transaction costs to a minimum. Nah, they are all to conventional for that, maybe they will go into blockchain when blockchain becomes a 100% thing, not before. They have tons of money and it shouldn't be a problem for them to buy out a team and get their own chain running. You make it sound like it is so simple, but if that was the truth I think they would already have done it. Not quite true I believe, it would have to be worth it for companies like that and I don't believe there is enough money in crypto yet for companies like that to do that kind of maneuvers. It is not only about if it there is profit in it, big factor are regulations and laws that are still in the making and companies like that don't go there cos of that too. |

Hi sevenkeys To successfuly finish KYC, proof of residence is needed too.KYC process usually lasts 24-36 hours. Is KYC done by you or you outsourced to some other company? I know this is not the case here, but how much does this service cost? If i remember correctly,cost for KYC is something like 10-15 USD per person.So its not an insignificant amount when you have thousands of people. The price is affordable. Considering the potentially number of users which must go thru KYC the interest of the outsourced company is clear  The more KYC requests the better, even if only 50% percent people that go through KYC invest you still gain much more then what KYC per person costs. I believe this is the case when it comes to Lynked.World, but some projects that have failed probably did not have this rate.Bad airdrop can cause you a lot of KYC requests and very few investments. That usually happens to projects that don't even have an MVP, I won't even mention having an app.They try to attract people with airdrop and then they fail with lots of expenses, KYC being one of them. |

What about bounty tokens,will those be delivered after main sale ,or maybe you could send them now, and lock?
Most likely those will be delivered after main sale is over.No point delivering now if you have to lock them anyway. Also if tokens were distributed now, you would have then swap them additionally when main net is released. That won't be an issue as swaps are almost automatic these days, you get few instructions from the team about where to store the tokens before the swap and that is it. |
