Did this drop of ETH and BTC affected your funds raised?I mean your ico was on while prices were much higher.

Maybe they bought tether with the funds raised.Tether is way to go during this market.

I doubt that projects sell their funds or put on the exchange while sale is on,even though going into tether was a good thing to do few months ago.
lol you are creating the worst scenario if you are getting the funds in TETHER form. Tether is a centralized currency and the developer can freeze it anytime if they are suspecting it as suspicious amount. Tether is the worst way ever i seen.

Yeah i agree on that ,no way Agate went into tether,And this current price is just temporar, prices will go up sooner or later, and it shouldnt affect development a lot.

No matter what anyone says, if funds were stored in some stablecoin instead of ETH or BTC a lot if ICO's would have much less problems with this market.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but by the pictures on agate website, seems to me that Mastercard will issue their cards. I can see something similar to mastercard logo on their card, maybe that's the clue.

I dont know anything about mastercard but admin on telegram group told me that we can expect cards after mainnet relase,so that means in Q1 2019.They mentioned Intercash as one of the solutions they plan to use for now.

Here is intercash link  https://www.intercash.com/

Hm i never heared about intercash,i gotta check it out,but at the moment, anything is good and better than that fiasco with Monaco,as people are still waiting for that card.

Well for a project like Agate it makes sense to go for a card, otherwise the benefits of the iFiat Ecosystem wouldn't be fully utilized.

What is iFiat Ecosystem? Does that require a credit card to work or not?

iFiat Ecosystem does not require a credit card at all, but it would be even more attractive if Agate had a credit card, lets put it like that.

Regarding iFiat Ecosystem itself, it uses decentralised blockchain technology (Agate blockchain) to resolve many of the fundamental issues in the cryptoeconomy, which will facilitate transactions very economically and in real-time.

A credit card? And who is going to provide that credit line? Do you mean something like a prepaid card? This is very different to a credit card. VISA and so on, they provide real credit to you.

I think that in the long run, safest bet is Mastercard, but who knows what will future bring.

I think these companies are more likely to start their own chain rather than supporting projects that actually seek to reduce transaction costs to a minimum.

Nah, they are all to conventional for that, maybe they will go into blockchain when blockchain becomes a 100% thing, not before.

They have tons of money and it shouldn't be a problem for them to buy out a team and get their own chain running.

You make it sound like it is so simple, but if that was the truth I think they would already have done it.

How many retailers you expect to have by the end of 2019, and how many users?

That would be really good to know, but I think it is impossible to estimate at this moment, maybe in the next month or so.

I hope it will be much more then I expect, wouldn't mind to be pleasantly surprised by something like that in this bear market  Sad

This situation might slow down adoption abit, people will be less reluctant to use cypto at the moment i think, but quality ideas will survive, like Agate, especially if they get crypto debit card out.

Is that a done deal? I mean with the debit card situation.

Can't really say for sure what is the status of the market at this very instance, could it be on a recovery mode or just another bull trap! manipulations by the big players! I read online some big player saying btc will go to zero by 2019, wonder if we are going to see this prediction become reality or just another shit talk Roll Eyes

Of course it is shittalk,if btc goes to zero, that means crypto is dead. And as we know, chances of that happenning are almost 0.And if those big players are really sure it will got oz ero, then they should put the money where mouth is and short it.

Crypto is just starting and it is normal to have oscillations like this , happens every 2-3 years.

I know what you mean, that would mean if BTC follows that pattern we can expect recovery of the market in 2020. I would not like that to be true to be honest.

Most likely with instacash, but we are still waiting for official confirmation and announcement.

Not quite true I believe, it would have to be worth it for companies like that and I don't believe there is enough money in crypto yet for companies like that to do that kind of maneuvers.

It is not only about if it there is profit in it, big factor are regulations and laws that are still in the making and companies like that don't go there cos of that too.

Your statement implies that you actually know that they haven't done it so far. But how do you know what they are building behind the scenes?

Just wanted to write the same thing, it's still too early to call this bull run. It's more likely to be bull trap, but we might go up to 5k usd. So it's still good to wait with public sale.

Agate will have 0.01 AGT fee,so it will be definitely lower compared to the huge 4.5% fee that PayPal is taking from every transaction.

Do you think Agate team should start protecting their funds by going with ETH raised into stablecoin? Some ICO's started doing this.

Exactly, if teams reacted this fast to market fluctuations we would all be screwed lol  Bull and bear can change in a matter of days sometimes even faster.

It could be a good way to avoid suffering loses if ETH goes down like it did, this created a lot of problems for most of the ICO's.

There is still a risk there of losing money anyway. You would need a trader that you trust more then your brother and even then it would not be easy to make sure that you keep your profits and funds.Trading is a devils game Cheesy Grin

It is a wise move, otherwise you are basically gambling with raised funds. But im not sure that you can do that before sale is over,an agate still have to go through public sale.
