1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: June 03, 2024, 11:59:38 PM
We can't be judgmental about whom to risk more in gambling. There is history stating that the rich have lost their entire earnings and lived an up-and-down life. As with that, there are poor people who have made themselves even poorer by gambling. It is not about risking money, it is all about making the right decision to get out of gambling. There are a very small percentage of people who just understand well and get into gambling. They just give it a try with a small amount that doesn't affect their lives at any point. If they find themselves lucky, they just take it and leave and invest the winnings in something else rather than gambling further with the winnings. This is the wise thing to do, but the majority of gamblers don't do it.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: June 03, 2024, 10:57:05 PM
Something that really affects  the gamblers especially on the money side, if they don't discipline themselves the next thing that they'll see is they already losses a lot to the point that they are over exceeded to their target budget,  it's a repeated mistake since aside from that adrenaline there's always something inside them that keeps on lingering that they are almost there if they will just adds up and wait for the luck to back them up, but eventually nothing happens.
Self-control and discipline are musts while gambling. Apart from that, we should be ready to quit or take a break from gambling, unlike the win or loss when our limit is reached. Going beyond the limit is always risky, and at times we might experience luck, but the same could pave the way to emptying our wallet. In simple terms, when we're exceeding the limits set for ourselves, we're making a mistake, and if we find little victory, the mind won't allow us to stop it. The temptation will be there, and the same will turn to greed, which mostly ends in massive losses. Lack of control, misunderstandings about gambling as a way to make money, and getting emotional are common mistakes repeated by gamblers.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do people truly risk their money on bets for profit? on: June 03, 2024, 10:47:13 PM
Just because one is able to make something out of gambling, we were able to experience such a big market for gambling. Consider gambling platforms that give you appreciation for your winnings with no money. Will gambling be this popular? No, it is all because of the money involved. People use it more. A small percentage of the gamblers consider it for fun, which means they just allocate funds and keep gambling and enjoy it if it brings them a big win. If the scenario isn't supportive, they take a break. However, even the person who prioritises gambling for fun will feel bad if he has been losing for a long time without winning any money.

A great game we saw today between Namibia and Oman. It was really interesting that while chasing the target of 109 runs, the Namibian team drew the match, which led to a super over again. Although the game was very exciting from start to finish, Namibia drew in the last minute, which resulted in a tied. To see such a match on the third day of Group B is really nice but a bit ridiculous. With a target of just 109 runs easily met, the match ended in a draw, though Namibia won the match with a super over. Namibia won due to super over, and they managed to collect two points in the points table.

I didn't think the Oman vs Namibia match would be so competitive. Because both teams were very weak. However, this match was very competitive.

Oman could only provide a target of 110 runs. After being given such a small target I thought Namibia would be able to win easily. But the batting of Namibia's batsmen was also very slow. Nikolaas Davin scored 24 runs off 31 balls and Jan Frylinck scored 45 runs off 48 balls. Every batsman's batting was very slow. At the end of 20 overs, Namibia managed to collect 109 runs. Oman's bowlers bowled very well. Namibia team was able to win the super over. It was a memorable win for Namibia.
That was an unexpected match. I was just watching the scores, and Namibia's inability to reach the 109-run target is a big turn in the last over of the match. Frylinck, at 45 runs, was in good form, taking the team towards a win. However, an unexpected wicket fall at the first ball of the final over gave a turn in the match, and Oman bowler Mehran Khan used the chance and bowled well, allowing just four runs in the last over and taking two wickets. Further in the superover, Namibia played well and won the match by 11 runs. Player of the Match, David Wiese, is the perfect pick, as his contribution from batting and bowling at the right time helped them win their first group stage match.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People keep asking me to borrow money, some of them for betting on: June 02, 2024, 11:59:53 PM
When someone requests that you lend money to gamble, take a stand not to give it. If someone is requesting that you provide $2, $5, or $10, then give them if you don't want it back. This is the extreme of gambling because they don't have money and they weren't able to stop themselves. So with the least amount, they keep wagering, and this doesn't stop with one person. They keep asking most of the people, and at some point they themselves will feel down and end up gambling.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 02, 2024, 11:58:08 PM
Maybe the pitch was bowling friendly there, but West Indies batting was average in today's match. Papua New Guinea was able to take the game to the 19th over despite giving a small target. There could have been a little more pressure on West Indies from the beginning if PNG had taken the review of Nicholas Pooran LBW. 3 unrecognized team have played in the first two matches except West Indies. Still, both matches were enjoyable.
What was surprising was that the West Indies only had to play 19 overs with a target of 137 and their five top order batsmen collapsed, so it was clear that Papua New Guinea's bowling attack was much more aggressive than the uniquely weak team, if not the bowling pitch. Had Papua New Guinea managed to score above 160 runs, today's match would have been a win for Papua New Guinea as West Indies needed five wickets and 19 overs to chase down a modest target of 136 runs.
That's the wrong calculation. Based on the target will be the game plan and the team moves accordingly. Here, the target is 137 runs, and the West Indies team had planned to have a slow and stable move. This is why they took the match to the 19th over. Aggressive starts at times lead to wicket losses, and the same might let them struggle to win the match. If it was a high-scoring match, then the West Indies might have decided to go by that choice.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greediness or Addiction -which one is more disastrous? on: June 02, 2024, 11:49:48 PM
Greediness will lead you to addiction.

The hunger of winning more or recovering your losses could lead you to that state. But I think both of them shouldn't be patronized by any of us although it's no longer a secret that many can't stop themselves.

Either way, both are disastrous. That's what I think with both of them as the impact and effect of it are not good to any of us.
As said, being greedy is a kind of addictive mentality. Greediness mostly accompanies being on the losing side. In most cases, it isn't the greed but the agony of getting back what has been lost earlier. This is where people make the mistake of gambling more and more, even when they have won enough for the day. This is where self-control is very important, and while we're into gambling, some sort of discipline needs to be followed. Only then a person is able to make better wins out of gambling. Particularly, one shouldn't be gambling in abnormal situations like anger, a tensed mindset, killing time, etc. Gambling is disastrous when you don't have a proper understanding of the consequences.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: June 02, 2024, 11:36:18 PM
Gambling is just a means of entertainment. People should have the understanding to spend money the same as what they spent on going to a movie or an outing. When one has such a mentality, gambling won't be problematic because the person will get used to enjoying the winning and won't be chasing the losses. When one starts to chase the loss, there starts the problem of losing more and more. Not everyone is lucky enough to make money out of gambling, so when we consider it entertainment, if we were able to make money, then that's the best part of one's gambling activity.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Committing mistakes helps us to become a responsible gambler. on: June 01, 2024, 08:23:31 PM
Mistakes are common with gambling. More experience will increase our knowledge about gambling, but the knowledge we acquire and the experience won't help us recover lost funds. What needs to be done is experiment with a small amount, and from there it is possible to understand gambling. Further, we should have control over our activities. Whenever a gambler ends up losing, he'll take the resolution that just on winning a few dollars, he needs to quit it for the day. Reality used to be different, as he'd be trying to recover from the loss. Being a responsible gambler is not just about controlling himself, but it is an emotion that shouldn't get triggered on any occasion.

Yeh unfortunately due to bad weather some of the important match including paksitan against England got abundant even without playing a single ball and it's true that from previous performances everyone will expect England to won the important and deciding match of the series but GOD has different plan and now two of tournament matches were got abounded hope the last one will decide the winner and may be we have seen a draw results too because paksitan are so unpredicted and surprising so you can underestimate them so it's highly possible that Paksitan will won the last match as from few press conference they have learn from his mistakes and will try something different in order to don't repeat the mistakes.
Yes there were the 3rd match between England and Pakistan which has been abandoned due two rain. Already 2 of the matches are now affected by rain and one has played and which won by England. And now only one match is left which will be played tomorrow. And this will decide that England will be the winner or not. Or let's see Pakistan will tie this series or not. I hope Pakistan will try to their best to tie this series. And also England will fight well to win the series. Means overall match will be very exciting if again the rain will not interfere with the match. So let's wait for the 4th match. Smiley
Chances for Pakistan to level the series. In the match that England won, Pakistan's opening and middle order collapsed. If not, they could've reached the target of 183 runs. Openers Rizwan and Ayub failed to score, and in the middle, Shadab Khan and Ayub Khan didn't build a partnership when the team was moving well towards the target. For England, it is Moen Ali who did a great job taking the wicket of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, who are the key players. Let's see what Pakistan can do in the upcoming match.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing the money in gambling, what is your strategy on: May 29, 2024, 12:45:57 AM
You havr to know Very well that a gambling is a game of risk so whatever thing that I am doing in gambling if I lose in gambling then I will take it if I gain in gambling I will also appreciate we all know that in gambling you must have a lock and opportunity before you be able to win so gambling every time might they give you the opportunity for you to win and the gambling once in a while might also give you another opportunity for you to strategize well so gambling is all about strategies
It's easier said than done. Some people believe they can control their gambling habit or have control of the game, which they don't. The majority of people who even spend much time at the casino end up losing more money over and over again before they realise it. So saying that the more you spend time at the casino, the more chance of winning that you might get is really not a thing for me.
As said, this isn't the reality for everyone. If a rich person tries this way, it is different because the time and money spent won't affect his personal life. For a common man, each and every dollar risked is something very important, and that could help with fulfilling other needs. Many of us do this, we just gamble and lose everything. If we hadn't gambled and lost that money, we could've gotten better or experienced upliftment in life.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does addicted gamblers only lose money all the time on: May 27, 2024, 11:06:41 PM
Addicted gamblers lose more than a normal gambler because they don't think beyond gambling. Always, their minds will be thinking about gambling. This can be mostly due to the losses they've experienced in the past. The urge to recover what they've lost keeps them from continuing to gamble. Here, very few turn out successful, whereas the majority ends up losing more and more.

When a person have some plans for making money or recovering lost money, they're kind of pressurized. This won't make them gamble as freely as a gambler who considers it fun.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: May 27, 2024, 10:22:09 PM
We may say what people say about us won't be a big problem, and it's up to me to do whatever I wish. In reality, we get worried when someone names us as gamblers. I personally felt it, and I'm not sure how others feel it. Days ago, I went to a relative's house and was just having a conversation. The aunt from the home asked what you were doing when the whole family was there. All of a sudden, I said I work online, and instantly she asked gambling right? I wasn't expecting it, and I managed the situation. If we're successful gamblers, then this might not be an issue. Being a failed gambler and people knowing it sounds bad.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Religion. Beliefs or Choices? on: May 26, 2024, 11:59:56 PM
It all depends on the person. A very small percentage of the population used to be so religious. Not many get into gambling, even if they do, they will be like, We need to start to wager after a prayer. They are like completely controlled gamblers, because if they don't win, they just quit because God isn't willing. I'm not sure of it, but religious books say we shouldn't show interest in gambling directly, but indirectly. Whether one needs to follow or not is up to the person's belief in the religion.

Not many comments here despite final. Anyway, cup seems to be in pretty much KKR's hands, there is no way KKR can choke this 120-130 score SRH is going to give.
Boss, One thing that is very important is that in all the finals I have seen, the play has been so bad that the joy of the day's final has been dampened. The record of the most runs in this year's IPL was that of Sunrisers Hyderabad, but today, especially the final game, Sunrisers Hyderabad was so bad that I have no comment about today's final. However, Kolkata Knight Riders deserved to be the champions of this year's IPL and they got the reward they deserved. Best wishes to Kolkata Knight Riders for becoming champions of this year's IPL.
It wasn't like a final match, and no one expected such a low performance. Soon after winning the toss, I predicted that SRH would perform really well and we could watch a nice match of 200+ runs. Everything collapsed, SRH was really bad, and when the wicket started to fall, someone should've stood up and contributed. They were focusing on the big score, and the wicket continued to fall. It is the lowest score in an IPL final match, and it is the lowest score in this IPL season. KKR reached the target in a much more comfortable manner, and the 2024 season has come to an end. Now everyone starts to think of the T20 World Cup, scheduled to start within a week.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction does more harm than mere financial loss on: May 25, 2024, 05:41:25 AM
Any kind of addiction has that, some are even worse than that. Any addict will always be a bad example and no matter how you shape and mold it, it will always end up with you getting the worst of things as is always the case with any addiction. I think that we're mostly talking here about financial losses because this forum is mostly financial related stuff, that's why we don't discuss it that much often and it's already obvious to most people that gambling have more effects other than the financial aspect maybe the things that's worth discussing here is the times where the obvious harm that gambling addiction isn't present in that addicted person.
Whether it is gambling addiction or some other form of addiction, everything is going to lead to harm. When someone encounters financial loss automatically, the same could be felt in one's physical life. In simple terms, a person has spent the money kept aside for studies on gambling and lost it. He doesn't have the choice to borrow, and to continue his studies, he needs money. This creates stress, and he might go into depression. The same affects the entire body. The body behaves depending on the mind. At some point, the person won't have the ability to think beyond gambling and recovering from the losses. So, it is always good to think about the aftereffects and stay cautious while gambling.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling A Hobby? on: May 25, 2024, 05:00:13 AM
Gambling can be one's hobby, but the person should know the difference between hobby and addiction. As money is involved with gambling, the same could easily cause addiction. Some people analyse different games, which is good because they set the limit and explore different games with the funds and try to figure out the best. This is fair, and they won't prioritise this as a way of making money or as a source of income. They just keep on experimenting and giving reviews. Apart from that, anyone can have gambling as a hobby, but it is like rich people's entertainment hobby, as they don't care about the money spent. All they want is pleasure and to enjoy the moment.

Rajasthan Royals Vs Sunrise Hyderabad

Today Rajasthan Royals vs Sunrise Hyderabad team will be played in a match full of competition. Today's game will be the most competitive as today will enter the final match between these two teams. So if the team is going to do enough to get into the finals, today is the biggest chance and the last chance. Both the teams have aggressive batsmen and bowlers who perform well all the time, so it is difficult to secure a win with these two teams today. So we have to wait until the end of the game to see which team can win.

Both teams are equally strong. In the points table, both Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad have the same point with a small difference in the NRR. Considering the last five match performances, SRH is in a better position with 3 wins, 1 loss, and 1 no result. Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, have lost four matches and one no-result. Rajasthan Royals performed well at the starting matches of the league, those winnings helped them enter the playoffs. Let's see who makes it to the finals, and today's toss will play a major role in the result of the match. In the previous encounter, SRH won by a run.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: May 24, 2024, 08:11:44 AM

Above are the bets placed just a few minutes ago. I won't be placing big bets, and I just tried with 128 USDT and won two bets. Greed accompanied and lost the next two bets. The result was a big loss, and in the event of recovering what I'd lost, I kept playing with the balance amount and finally ended up with nil balance in the wallet. So, it is always good to be careful while gambling, and you also need to be in perfect control. We don't know when we get greedy.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does prediction in sport work for you? on: May 20, 2024, 12:18:57 AM
While making a bet on any of the sports, data collection is important, and the prediction platforms support this. I personally pick the odds based on the team, the players involved, and the recent match history. Rather than completely relying on a platform, it is better to go with our own pick with the data collected. These predictions work, and sometimes they prove to be wrong, which is not because we haven't made the right choice. In sports betting, luck also plays a role. I have personally experienced it many times. Even on going with the lowest odds @1.1 I've lost the bets.
