982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: March 06, 2023, 10:37:46 PM
Al-Shabab end 19th match of the SPL with loss from the guest team Al Adalh, although included in one of the worst performance teams in the Saudi Professional League did not make Al Adalh lose confident.

Al-Hilal will host the guest team Al-Fateh today in the Saudi Professional League continue match. The two teams are currently involved in the rivalry in positions five and six,  Al-Hilal has a higher chance of winning today, the offer of the odds is @1.44

Al Hilal's performance this season has decreased, they have dominated this competition trophy for three consecutive seasons. currently, Al Hilal is ranked fourth in the standings, 12 points adrift with his rival Al Nassr. It seems that Al Hilal's dominance will be broken by Al Nassr or Al Ittihad, who are only two points away from the top of the Saudi Pro League standings.

Speaking of the Al Hilal vs Al Fateh match, this match should have been a winning match for the home team. because, in terms of quality, Al Fateh is below the home team. also, if we refer to the last two meetings of these two teams, Al Hilal dominated the victory. but unfortunately, this fight has entered the first round and Al Fateh took the lead in the 39th minute. in fact, the home team had no chances to score. So, in the second half, like it or not, Al Hilal had to increase the intensity of his attacks to equalize.
This match quite a great in the second half, but unfortunately Al Hilal couldn't take their chances very well in scored, they could only get one score from assist Michael which was successfully executed by Saleh Alshehri. You're right Al Hilal performance this season is not very good, they are many points behind from their competitors Nassr and Ittihad, right now there is no hope Al Hilal to get a closer with the top one or top two.
The odds shows the perfect position of dominance from Al-Hilal, but things didn't go well from the beginning. In ball possession, corner kicks, and on everything Al-Hilal leads on the statistics. They weren't able to turn them to goals. Al Fateh took chance and made the goal at the first half which pressurized the opponent. Further made another goal in the second half to keep the winning momentum. Al-Hilal finally managed to get a goal, however they weren't able to level it. Big disappointment for Al-Hilal which is one of the competing team on the top.

I just heard today that Djokovic has been refused entry to the U.S because he doesnt
have a COVID-19 vaccination so wont be playing at Indian Wells.

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2023/mar/06/novak-djokovic-withdraws-from-indian-wells-amid-us-visa-row

I didnt think this was going to be an issue this year and if that policy holds up for the
year he will miss a good few important tournaments including possibly the GS.

The draw for Medvedev is easier and its still on hard court so can he make it 4 in a row?
Since 2022 have been facing this problem  and now America have started to impose the vaccination a big issue and deny entry to the World's No.1 player. He had withdrawn the entry. Same applies for Miami open.

With the vaccination issue he have missed significant tournaments and it continues

2022
Australian Open
Indian Wells M1000
Miami M1000
Canada M1000
Cincinnati M1000
US Open

2023
Indian Wells M1000
Miami Open [soon expected]
984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto market has grown in africa on: March 06, 2023, 10:16:28 PM
Amidst the regulations around the African countries the usage and the acceptance of cryptocurrency is quite high in Africa. This is all because of the inflation and people have well understood about the goodness of cryptocurrencies. In one of the African country Nigeria, the government itself launched its CBDC to keep people use the government backed cryptocurrency, and it hasn't gained the good acceptance and usage same as the cryptocurrencies listed on the coinmarketcap. There is high and more real time usage in Africa and that doesn't mean it to be 1200% growth.
985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling earn someone a living on: March 05, 2023, 09:33:39 PM
Two years ago my best friend had saved $5000

He earned around $9000 in a year with gambling.

Last year he lost $12000 with gambling.

Now he is in debt!

I think you know what I am saying...
This is an expected story from a gambler who thinks it should be possible to make passive income with gambling. Making a living with gambling funds is a very dangerous idea, and the ending will be brutal for that person like in your friend's case. Even if you are on positive side of story better to run while you can, otherwise, the house edge will take everything sooner or later. Just my 2 cents.
Most of the stories I come across have got similar results. The best part, majority of the users were in profit and later the greed for more made them losers. Whenever we've planned for gambling we should do the best analysis and set our limits. This will make us end gambling at the right time and make us prioritise as a fun platform than thinking it to be money making source.
986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pakistan Super League #PSL Discussion Thread on: March 05, 2023, 08:03:04 PM
Islamabad is currently at 96 with 3 wickets down after 7 overs. They are scoring runs with a run rate of 13.4 while the required run rate is 6.55 at the moment. They got plenty of players left to bat yet, and they've played the perfect powerplay the team is in a very good position to win the game from here.

On the other side, it's a do-or-die situation for Quetta Gladiators today as it is a must-win match for them or they will be totally out of the race. But as it seems, they haven't been able to take the lead of the match so far, and if it continues this way, there will be no hope for them.
Islamabad United won the match and qualified for the next round , at one point match went in favour of Quetta Gladiators but Azam Khan changed the course of innings and his sixes changed the match.
Attached the end fours by Faheem Ashraf confirmed the Islamabad United victory.

Quetta Gladiators lost today's match against the stronger opponent Islamabad United but believe me they really fought hard in this match.
Remember at one time Quetta Gladiators were 17 for 4 wickets down and it seems that they would lose the match by a big margin but then Najibullah Zadran, Mohammad Nawaz, and Umar Akmal played a brilliant knock to get to the to the score of 179 runs.

Still they lost the match but that is part of the game.
Islamabad United have progressed good and the win have made them reach the second position on points table. The team is very strong with the batting line-up. Looking the target it looked to be difficult for Islamabad United to reach the target. The team lost its first wicket even before making a run. The players continued scoring with the wickets falling at regular interval. Finally Faheem Ashraf with his hatrick four took the team reach the target losing 8 wickets. With time the heat of the matches keeps rising.
987  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: March 04, 2023, 11:56:26 PM
It completely depends on the user. If the priority is a shelter, and they doesn't want to invest big the better choice is renting. Here you can avoid the unwanted expenses of renting when a specific amount is invested and the return out of it on the regular basis can be used for paying rent. In some cases it is specific time periods rent need to be paid initially, so that rent isn't necessary to be paid. This way of renting is called leasing.
988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Bitcoin Holdings for your child from infant. on: March 04, 2023, 11:51:31 PM
Investing on bitcoin will give the children the financial freedom when they turn adult and need money. The inflation is a big problem and to overcome such situations it is good to prioritise bitcoin savings for our children. DCA of bitcoin for long term or whenever the price drops itself enough to make the savings reach good value. Also this lets the children to be well associated with the growing technology. In the future when people are talking about it, we holding the same gives us the best feel.
989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin by selling wife's jewelry on: March 04, 2023, 11:46:18 PM
Practically Bitcoin is more valuable that Gold and it can be  able to give you a huge return after the Bitcoin halving. And that's why I think it makes sense to sell jewelry to invest in Bitcoin because of its high volatility return.
Bitcoin is valuable but we must know that it is also very volatile that is why we tell people to be careful careful when investing in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is both a digital currency and an asset we can trade and make more money if we know what we are doing. I don't think anyone would agree with op to sell his wife jewelry just because he wanted to purchase Bitcoin when there are many things he could sell and purchase the quantity of Bitcoin he wanted. We don't have to be too desperate when we want to invest invest in Bitcoin or any other assets.
Yes, the volatility is the major factor that makes the cryptomarket more riskier than the traditional market. Analysing well and making the investment lets you stay safe than just losing. Also when an user have the ability to withstand and have patience when the market is in its down movement it is sure that bitcoin will get you with the best profit. Even I had such thinking, but I haven't done it. Maybe I'll do it later, because in my locality jewel is given much importance as a status sign.
990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to surprise a friend on: March 03, 2023, 11:42:41 PM
Few days back the birthday have got over and there is no update from OP, whether his friend got surprised or not. The initiative taken by OP is good, because his friend isn't in a situation to invest. On the other side he knows about bitcoin and he likes it. Surely anyone will easily gets surprised when we receive things that we've been watching for long.

Most of the users were waiting for the response from OP, whether he gifted or no? Next question, did his friend got surprised?
991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fruit of greed is never good,, on: March 03, 2023, 11:38:03 PM

It happens, most of the time loss happens out of gambling. Newbies used to experience these kind of losses going through spam links that shouldn't be used. In the past it was multiplier schemes and I too became a victim of it. It request to install a software, at the bottom users withdrawal of multiplied amount transaction runs. Looking upon this believed and send small amount and I wasn't able to multiply. Later understood my mistake, so it is must to be very careful being on the crypto market.
Yes and I don't think it is really wise of us to attribute such an incident to greed because from ops' own point of view, his friend git hacked because he was greedy to have wanted to participate in the airdrop, but the fact is that most of us here have had a similar experience as a newbie and even high-rank member have also become a victim as some point before making wallet security their top priority.

-Don't connect your wallet to any platform for whatever reason, and never let out your sensitive information, most hackers work with information their collect over time by monitoring the activities of the owner before they will finally strike when the wallet owner least expected it.
As everything happens online we won't be able to do anything once we've lost our funds. So, it is good to keep things in a much secure way. Whenever you get to follow a link please check the source from which you've received it. If it is from a trusted service or from a known person. Later choose to open it or not, nowadays it is the much preferred way for the hackers.
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: March 03, 2023, 10:35:52 PM
So, this match looks like an easy one for the home team. plus, Ronaldo has the potential to score a lot of goals in this match. my estimation, Al Nassr will score more than 3 goals. that way, Al Nassr will again shift the leader of the standings which is currently occupied by Al Ittihad.
It is what people expect about this match.
In reality, it is not an easy match for Al Nassr. Al Nassr players can't score until minute 90', they can score in minute 90+3', 90+12', 90+14'. Even Ronaldo couldn't score a single goal and made no assists in this match. I think many people were surprised although Al Nassr still can win the match and maintained its position in 1st place. Everyone must expect Ronaldo shows his contribution by scoring a goal or delivering an assist.

LOL I think this is a bug on Livescore, I didn't watch this match I'm just monitoring from Livescore and I know Al Nasr is 1 goal behind in the first half
But I was shocked when I saw the final score of 3-1 for Al Nasr win and all goals scored in the last minute 90 ++  how could this happen Cheesy
Unfortunately Ronaldo is not one of the goalscorers today he missed the opportunity to add his goal on the top score list.
How could this happen? Really surprised and Al-Batin should've never let it happen. A winning opportunity isn't an easy thing and this could've boosted the performance of Al-Batin in the upcoming matches. Being in the last position keeps them down minded and a comeback is much appreciated. Anyhow the goal scored by Renzo López didn't help the team experience a win, really unlucky.
993  Economy / Economics / Re: No petrol/diesel car sales by 2035/ Reality or dream? on: March 03, 2023, 10:25:32 PM
According to today's news that I have read, it seems that the EU will not adopt this law after all, because Germany and Italy are putting a lot of pressure to prevent that from happening. Of course, these are two countries that have a significant share in the production of cars, and such a law would have a very harmful effect on their economies. This does not mean that the share of electric cars on the roads will not increase, but I do not believe that such a ban will come before 2050.
2030 is very early to make a ban on petrol and diesel cars. This will affect the countries that depends on car production for their economy as well as the countries that depend completely on the oil market for their economy. Every car company have begun to have their electric vehicle production unit as well as R&D, and for the reason the regular car production isn't decreased. So, we can experience the increasing usage of ev, but the same won't affect the petrol and diesel car usage for atleast 2 generation.
994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and education on: March 03, 2023, 10:19:15 PM
One who can understand what someone say can easily invest into bitcoin and participate in trading activities. After the usage of smartphones people are much used to technology. Even the uneducated does digital transactions with ease. The applications were developed in such a way that all levels of people can make use of it.

Apart, there are occassion in which it won't be believed by certain people due to its virtual availability. For them it is really hard to understand, because the minds weren't prepared to believe what someone says about bitcoin.
995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 03, 2023, 01:05:52 PM
Nepal lost the game against UAE yesterday by 68 runs and that's a costly loss. Right now Nepal need 151 runs in 41 overs with 8 wickets in hand. PNG is worst performing team so far and has won only 3 matches so far. Nepal must win today's game as 179 is not a big target to chase.
Sam Curran has got 3 early wickets and Bangladesh are in deep trouble while chasing a target of 326. The game is very much over for Bangladesh unless Tamim and Shakib do some miracle.

I think that Nepal is going to lose today's match as well. They worked really hard to bowl out Papua New Guinea for 179 (Sompal Kami and Dipendra Singh Airee took 2 wickets each). But in return they are at 55/5. Wicket keeper Aasif Sheikh is still there with 28 n.o, but none of the other batsmen have passed double digits. If one more wicket falls, then the tail will start with Karan KC and Sompal Kami, and with that it will be all over for Nepal. This was such a crucial match for Nepal. If they lose it, they have only themselves to blame.
This is the same thing happening with Nepal everytime. For 74 runs Nepal lost the sixth wicket. From there Nepal team have progressed and won the match by 3 wickets and 12 balls left. For Papua New Guinea everyone played evenly, but with Nepal it is the opener Aasif Sheikh 86* runs and Sandeep Lamichhane 35* runs. If one have lost their wicket earlier Nepal would've lost the match. Nepal continues its winning streak. Opening and the tail is performing a s the contribution from the middle order is nil.
996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 03, 2023, 02:40:14 AM
Yup very poor performance by the Indian team. The batting have just become worse. And everyone is claiming that the pitch is bad. If the pitch is bad, then how did the Aussies managed to get a 100 wicket partnership for the first wicket? Moreover I am disappointed with KS Bharath’s batting. I mean this guy is completely useless. Instead of him, take KL Rahul or Ishan Kishan in the team. Both players can bat well and are good keepers too. At least more experienced than KS Bharat. Now only some miracle can make India win this test match. Let’s see if they can comeback or not.

Australians also struggled against the Indian bowlers, but their advantage was that Axar Patel was not in good form and leaked plenty of runs. And then that knock from Usman Khawaja was very valuable. He made a half-century in this difficult track and it is as good as a double century in any of the other sub-continental tracks. In the end, basics were poor for the Indians. Captaincy from Rohit Sharma was disappointing, and on the other hand tactics from Steven Smith of Australia worked really well. And this time the Indians can't even blame the toss. They won the toss and opted to bat first.
Toss have played an important role in this match. Even if Indian batsmen have played same as the Australian players India could've reached good score. We don't know how the pitch will turn, and from the very first innings of the match it looks like the ground is bowling favourable. This time Australian bowlers have outperformed Indian bowlers performance. Lyon have took 8 wickets for 64 runs. Does anything big happens today.
997  Economy / Economics / Re: How we survive food shortages on: March 02, 2023, 11:42:38 PM
Food shortages have being a big problems in the global world today where tremedious things are happening people finds it difficult to buy food especially, rice products, climate change has devastated  the whole global world where crops can no longer do well in the farming system, believe with this new information about the crypto space can  our climate change system be put together where there will be high rate of food shortages in the global world as a new beginner I want to know we can fix this things I mentioned.
Food shortage is not a today's problem, it had been there for long nand we had been living with that ensuring we provide more food as population keeps increasing. The government are working to do reduce food shortage but inflation is affecting farmers finding it difficult to procure farm tools and equipments that will yield more food results. Fertilizer is becoming expensive everyday making price of food to be expensive, difficult for a some people to buy.
Food shortage is around the World. If the governments were able to function corruption free, it is possible to have this problem solved long back. Most of the country does big corruption in the food sector, because this contributes a big percentage in the budge budget of every country. We may ask where the corruption takes place. Huge funds will be allocated for construction of food reserves and storage units. When there is nothing maintained properly, even the stored food goes unused. Different factors does this and the main thing is the improper governance.
998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the easiest way to explain bitcoin to a regular person? on: March 02, 2023, 11:38:46 PM
You can start by introducing them this forum after which they would have been briefed by you on what bitcoin is and how they can understand it use and purpose, this community is purposely meant for bitcoin discussion and you could discover alot of threads that taughts about bitcoin on the forum, also let them have a practical example of starting if interested by putting them through, and finally dont force them to accept bitcoin or invest in it, let it be from their own decision base on how they think it's reliable and trusted.
Well said, this is a good way to make people understand well about bitcoin. Earlier people used to read and understand. Nowadays things have changed and based on the way they receive information about something their acts will change. So, initially we need something positive and attractive that could let him/her go through the forum.
Most of the time on which people would really be easily get hooked up when they do see money making things on which it isnt surprising that this do really sparks out interest. On this way its better to make out those kind

of introductions which is pertaining on how to make money and this is where attention would be able to get into on a certain individual, but there are still things which needs to be considered out
because it is always suggestable that you shouldnt make out guarantees so that you wont really be ending up on getting blamed if ever their investment would go lost of track.

Also there are people who arent literate when it comes to technology which it do makes the introduction even more harder and challenging for them to understand.
When we introduce them with the money making stuff, the prime focus will be upon it. They never try to understand what really matters and the prime objective of the innovation. These days we've got more sources available to educate ourselves. Maybe we can direct them towards it and let them understand. If they need assistance in something we can teach them. This seems to be the better way than just introducing into the forum.
999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pakistan Super League #PSL Discussion Thread on: March 02, 2023, 11:35:46 PM
The team on top of the points table, Lahore Qalandars have lost 7 wickets for 50 runs. This should be an easy win for Quetta Gladiators who is placed at the last position on the points table. Sikander Raza being the last hope for Lahore Qalandars to make some score for the team. More 10 overs left and the same could make the team score atleast 60 more runs if there is no wicket fall. Naveen-Ul-Haq have bowled well taking two important wickets and a run out.
Everyone has been surprised by Quetta bowling because they dismissed 7 wicket of Lahore Qalanders while the total score is 82 in 12th over. I think the best option for Lahore is to stay on a pitch with a wicket in hands and build a partnership in order to decrease the pressure which has been build due to quick dismissal. Now Rashid and Sikander Raza are on a crease which has ability of power hitting, hope through Thier availability Lahore wil score some decent target like around 150 which will be a good target to defend for Lahore bowling
Everyone were surprised with the Quetta Gladiators and I was surprised with the comeback of Lahore after 7 wickets reaching 148 runs. Lahore Qalandars have got good players that does the right things at the right time. It is really hard to manage such situation and score good runs. The tema have done it well and the same have made the team once again win the match which is completely into the hands of Quetta Gladiators during the start of the match.

Djoković was vulnerable in round one but getting better and better as time passes, don't see him loosing this week.

He plays an in-form Medvedev tomorrow, I'm not betting on this one, I can see it
going either way myself!

Who ever wins tomorrow will probably win the tournament

Both players are in excellent form but i think Djokovic will win this only because of his fresh leagues due to Medvedev winning two tournaments in row and must be tired. Plus Djokovic after that round one looks really good.
Both have won their previous matches in an easier way. Djokovic have won against Hurkacz and Medvedev have won against Coric to reach the semifinals. On the head to head performance it is Djokovic that have won 9 times and in the last four wins, three have reached the final set. So, we can expect the heat in the semifinals match.
