2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: best countries for btc on: October 01, 2025, 10:10:11 AM
would you agree about the countries involved? are you interested in moving into these countries or starting a business that is crypto related? also there is no country from africa in the ranking. could there be one in the future?
Most countries are crypto friendly so if your country doesn't frown at those who are into cryptocurrency then why the need to move to another country? except that crypto is restricted or banned in your country and you are a crypto enthusiast then you can move to a country that is crypto friendly. For the fact that no African country is there in the ranking does not mean that African countries are not a destination for cryptocurrency, you can do your research, and you will see African countries that are at the forefront of cryptocurrency.
With the recent news of CZ the former CEO of Binance visiting Bhutan it shed a light of how crypto-friendly this country truly is especially with them revealing they now have a bitcoin reserve and amassing several thousands the past several years from it.

Mining their bitcoin so clean should show those who oppose doing it to rethink their strategy going forward.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: October 01, 2025, 10:01:14 AM
That's what businesspeople do; they do whatever they can just to bring that money flowing into their pockets, get those business deals going on and attract as many investors as they can irrespective of the sector, so yes, I also agree that he can do anything to make money, which is why there was a time when he used his influence to toy with the market as he wanted and make profit off it. Now Trump is the one who has taken his place.
And it seems that he has done just that with the current CEO paypackage of $900billion worth of TSLA stock could make Elon Musk the world’s first trillionaire.
https://www.teslarati.com/elon-musk-trillionaire-tesla-pay-package-all-about-influence-not-wealth

He claims that this was due to his influence and not personal wealth.
And as we all know crypto markets are directed by influential elements from several different economical factors.
The entrepreneur businessman is really out to make history; let's not forget he already has it on his to-do list to be the first trillionaire in history.

Now my question is how is he going to achieve this, We are talking about him being able to pilot the company's annual revenue from what it was this year, around $17 billion, up to $400 billion annually.

Aside from building more robots and whatever he proposes for this to be achieved, their customers should be prepared for product price increases because they're inevitable.
You seem to forget, he is involved in multiple companies some that the public are probably not aware of yet. But knowing him he will reveal it in due time as his ego won't allow him not to take the credit when they are successful enough. Wink

You don't think SpaceX would not have him achieve this alone?
He is wanting to send civilization to Mars. That in upon itself is mind boggling to most. But it is achieveable and many are willing to be the first to go there. And are willing to pay several millions to do it.
So imagine a space carrier full of those multimillionaires willing to be the first to go there.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump picks the first ever bitcoiner on a presidential ticket who holds bitcoin! on: October 01, 2025, 09:39:13 AM
Heard that the U.S government will be shutting down for the next few days and saw something on X from whale news account so it must already be verified from several sources.
It must of been announced in a late night congressional meeting.
As soon this news hit BTC price surged towards the $16,200 mark from $14,500 when this was not announced yet yesterday evening.

Astralis seems to the losers of the opening stages of this tournament so far, losing both of their early matches to ENCE yesterday and today to GamerLegion.

Actually there were some big uspets with HOTU, B8, Legacy and 3DMAX all winning their matches against the favorites of each of those games.

Hopefully tomorrow we will have some of these pro-league favorites actually playing better than they have been so far in this first stage of majors.
Still alot more matches to go with this tournament running til October 12th.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: September 30, 2025, 09:42:18 PM
The slightly frustrating part is that i put more effort into my selections this time, not the usual 30 seconds or so...
We go again...
LOL
Thats means you do better when you fill everything in 30 seconds. I guess you might wanna do the same thing on the next one.
I got 9/20 and thats really frustating for me eventhough its only $10. Losing sucks especially when you are already losing on most pools you joined on the forum lol. I was waiting for that one goal from Betis on the 2nd half, I had them to win the 2nd half. Honestly when I knew that they scored 2 goals in the first half, pretty sure that there wont be any goal from Betis on the 2nd half.
It well worth it to keep entering in to these everyweek because you will eventually get closer to that 20 correct.
I just entered in what I thought would happen due to the teams that they are playing and with the odd upset in mind. So put the opposite of what others would say well that will not happen, but only a few.

Today we had Champions league so place another acca and get only the last one wrong with Galatasaray beating Liverpool.
Was certain there were going to more goals than just one throughout the entire match.
But of course Liverpool made me lose my acca and being the last match to have it go through to win.

Everton is 1.68 1x2 odds today vs West Ham. BTTS odds are 1.92
what you guys think?
Anyone do well on this weekends Jackpot ?
Friend won 40 usdt, he sucks at betting so it might be easier this weekend for everyone.
The both teams to score market was the one to choose since they were 2x when I placed a bet live.
Everton's new stadium and West Ham with a new coach in Nuno was going to be a tough one to call but it ended in a draw.

New jackpots from this season are much more luck involved than skills, i mean some questions are , "is gonna be odd or pair the number of goals on X match" is impossible to know that, is pure guessing.

So yes your friend if he have good luck can win more than you despite you knowing more.
Don't think there were those annoying odd/even questions asked for this past week's jackpot.
Had 14 correct out of the 20 questions for this week's Big 5 Jackpot so I had a nice prize for only spending the $1 on the entry fee.
Think it was around $50 since I paid with a different currency other than a stablecoin the value ended up a little less by the time I checked the outcome on the jackpots tab earlier today.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: September 29, 2025, 11:51:37 PM
This is so amazing card. First of all, Pereira is amazing and his every fight is a joy to watch because of his brutal knockouts but here is Merab Dvalishvili, which is one of my all-time favorite fighter. Procházka is cool too. So, the first from the top 3 fight will be Procházka VS Rountree, then Dvalishvili VS Sandhagen and then Ankalaev VS Pereira, right? This is what my bet looks like: Prochazka wins, Dvalishvili wins and Pereira wins but I'm not sure about this last one because I have no idea how well Pereira was preparing for this fight. I'm super confident about Dvalishvili, that's all I know. I'm sure Procahzka will also win too because he is very hungry and wants to fight Pereira.
I am starting to cozy up to this fight card too.
Thought I wouldn't because it is another rematch and these usually play out the same way as the first fight went, but for some reason this one just feels different. Pereira certainly has a chance with the intense way he is training and what he has endured in his life. He has learned from defeat in his past and survived to bounce back stronger than ever. That is the mantra of his life.

I'm finally able to watch Countdown it was previously banned for some reason here in my country. But the dubbing is done by AI, so it's not entirely good yet, and when the fighters speak, there's no audio. Incredible UFC, incredible.

About the next card. Pereira should win, and I really hope he does. I'm tired of seeing Ankalaev with a belt and zero charisma.
Ah, didn't know people have trouble watching these countdowns because they are straight from the official UFC youtube channel.
But if the dubbing is the issue, I wouldn't know because I watch them in english. The way they probably intend most of the viewers from the States watch them. But I can see where it would be a problem with the russian/brazilan language.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: September 29, 2025, 11:43:31 PM
Have my NFL acca ready locked in for this MNF action!:
<...>
Let's goooo!
I can see Jake Browning and the Bengals' offense struggle to score...25 points might be a tough ask. They got demolished last week, and you can argue the Broncos have a better defense than the Vikings.  With Burrow's injury, things look bleak.

If i were the Bengals, i'd pick up the phone and see if Kirk Cousins or Jameis Winston/Russell Wilson are not available via trade. Imo, this is their only chance to save the season.

In any case, good luck with your parlay, maybe Cinci puts on a clinic tonight ...stranger things have happened in the NFL.

I've got this boring double up on the Broncos ml and Jets alt spread +7.5.

Justin Fields cleared concussion protocol and should start. It's hard to predict two 0-3 teams, hope it's a close one.

Just began watching the first game on the MNF schedule and Jets are looking terrible with the first quarter ending with them fumbling the ball while Jack Jones was jumping into the endzone and Fins recovering it to take over.
Fields with 5 yards so my bet is looking like it will hit for the first part of the acca because can not see him getting over 150 yards now with playing the first quarter that badly.
The Bengals with the Broncos was the one that I am not so sure about hence the over 6x risk.

All the best with your bet as it looks alot easier to hit than mine!

Lewis Hamilton is showing at 21.00x so no news of his withdrawal has not been official or confirmed yet.
Surprised they have Norris, Piastri and Verstappen all near at 3.10x-3.25x odds which are very close.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: September 29, 2025, 12:55:39 PM
Big UFC weekend as UFC 320 is this saturday
Ankalev vs pereira
Dvalishvili vs sandhagen
Procházka vs Rountree

Some juicy matchups there , Merab and ankalav are heavy favorites while Procházka - rountree is slightly more even
All favorites parlay here paying around 2.5-2.6, not bad i guess
There are alot of things going on in the UFC all the sudden because after watching this past weekend's Fight Night there were an event announced for each weekend next month.
This UFC 320 card is just the beginning to kick-off the biggest month for them yet.

Just finished watching the countdown which released yesterday:

UFC 320 Countdown - Full Episode
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G77b3GmlMCI

Looks like Ankalev is training in the same camp as Chimaev.

Reading that response to yesterday's matches pretty much sum it up for most who were betting on those favorites to win in the EPL.

Today's matches look sort of trappish too.
I flipped between the draw for Newcastle to putting them as the match winners between them and Arsenal.
So let us see where the match fixers lie today, shall we? Grin

Here are the two games being played today and the sole match tomorrow to round out the matchweek:

15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: September 27, 2025, 10:15:02 PM
Ouch! What a terrible day for those who are in the EPL forum pool such as @arallmuus & @ralle14 who have already commented on these matches being played today.
Manchester United lost 3-1 to Brentford and shouldn't have happened. Thought Bruno would of scored from the penalty given when the score was 2-1 for Brentford so to tie it all up.

But nothing seemed to go the way we all intended these matches to go today right from the start straight to the end. Where Tottenham equalized right in the last minute of stoppage time against Wolverhampton for that draw I was looking for in games today for the final match of the day.
Topsy turvy type day for matches along with Crystal Palace winning theirs against Liverpool and Sunderland beating Nottingham Forest and with that win puts them in fourth place above Manchester City and Arsenal on the table.

Another crazy statistic is that Palace are now the only unbeaten team in the EPL so far with so many draws from the beginning of the season until now. Check the EPL leaderboard if there is any doubt on this fact.
Because when I heard it after their win today, I was sort of in shock from the trading of their start players and not spending as much from the likes of LFC and Chelsea before the deadline was done.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor Supports Bitcoin Knots on: September 27, 2025, 10:03:26 PM
It seems that this could be the end of Bitcoin Core as the reference implementation, as the most prominent bitcoiners and holders are now supporting Knots
Unless Luke (main maintainer of Knots) improve his security and programming practice, i expect fair amount of people/company would rather stick with Bitcoin Core. Jameson Lopp talk about it on https://blog.lopp.net/knot-a-serious-project/ section "Luke's Security Practices".
I am sure a lot of people would be in support of improving or developing more of what we have of bitcoin but if it has risks or sacrifices to be made then everyone will have a hard time accepting that obviously. Bitcoin core has served a lot of people well for the past years and its integrity must be maintained even with new upcoming developments. It needs more time.
But they are proposing in be able to change code and thus altering transactions on the blockchain.
They want to disable the use of ordinals and having questionable material being able to be embedded on there in the future.

Altering what is viewed on the blockchain sounds okay with anyone who uses bitcoin here?
I would think not. Undecided

Yea DRX hasnt been doing well recently in league.
True, after that insane run back in 2022, they lost all their players and kind of downgraded their squad throughout the recent years.

Or maybe that's why they had to sacrifice their league squad and shift their focus onto other squads for now.
This is probably the reason why I had not heard of them before he mentioned them before.
I did not start watching League of Legends or following them until about two and a half years ago so it would of been around the end of their winning streak.

Waiting patiently for stage 1 of ESL Pro League Season 22 to kick off but it will be early Sunday morning for most of us who are in North America because this tournament is being held in Stockholm, Sweden.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: September 27, 2025, 09:46:01 PM
I've always been a fan of Jenkins, but I think he could end up losing this fight because of their fighting styles. He's very explosive and could end up taking some blows.
Never really seen much of Jenkins and his fights from the past but will be watching him today since you mention something about them.
Thanks for this little bit of info bro.

This should be very interesting UFC event, and I am surprised how well Dominick Reyes performed in last three fights.
He is not going to have easy job against strong Ulberg, and if you look at the odds he is a heavy underdog.
I know it is risky but this odds on Reyes are really amazing!

https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/mma/ufc/ufc/carlos-ulberg-vs-dominick-reyes-001086be2300000000000000
So, the main card is at 8 am in Berlin as UFC website told me. I would love to see Ulberg VS Reyes but I also would love to watch Netflix. Which one should I do? Go to sleep now or wake up late?  I would really love to see Reyes VS Tom Aspinall.
These odds look very attractive but I don't want to risk, so I don't make a bet but my heart tells me that Reyes will win.

I'm waiting for UFC 320. This is the real deal. I hope Pereira really trains hard and really plans comeback because if he wastes time like he did previously, then he won't beat Ankalaev. In reality he really can beat him but I don't know why on planet earth he wasn't throwing his punches when he could and was standing like a stone.
Anyways, we have an amazing days in UFC. Today there is a Reyes's fight, then Anakalaev's fight in 6 days and then Oliveira's fight on 11 October. Das Ist Fantastisch!
According to what was said during the beginning of the pre-fight press conference, they have set the start time of the early prelims so early that they will start in less than an hour and twenty minutes from now as you can see from the UFC Fight Pass website screenshot below:

They start allowing ticket holders entry into the RAC Arena at 7am Western Australian time. So when I checked the times of each fight the main event of Ulberg vs Reyes will in 6 hours from now so to have it end at about the same time as other UFC cards do.

^^
Those Sportsbet.io Specials are having some inviting odds but I don't trust Chelsea enough to win today so rather take the Nottingham Forest win & BTTS @4.30x instead.
Here is the link for those specials:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/sportsbet-specials/all

Full schedule in the EPL today and those matches are shown below with their markets:

https://sportsbet.io/sports/soccer/england/premier-league/matches

As for what I think of the first game being played with Manchester United vs Brentford.
Think it will end in a draw.

The value has plunged 58% since the beginning of the month about two weeks after the launch to the public:
