First time I actually bet on a Valorant tournament match to be honest and it was good fun to watch!
Placed a bet on Paper Rex when they were tied and on to the final map.
Thought they were going to lose once G2 reached 8-4 and it looked like they were going to run away with the match, so cashed out my bet.

Regret that I did now I see they won the match.
Did not have time to watch the fnatic one. So did DRX (haven't heard of this esports team, just like PRX before today!) happen to win?

DRX is a big team in league of legends. They won Worlds 2022 which is the biggest championship from RIOT.

They lost 1:2 against Fnatic, so not this time:

What's good on this Closed qualifier for the WEU is that, three teams are going to be qualified to the main event.

Two of those slots are already secured by NaVi and VP. I assume the last one will go to Avulus unless Mouz decides to step up and prove that their skill ceiling is higher.

We also have the ESL Pro League S22 in a few days, and i'm looking forward to seeing FaZe and who they'll plan to replace after they manage to bring back Twistzz from Team Liquid.

You're right that NaVi and Virtus Pro have already taken the two slots. And as of now, Avulus and Pipsqueak is fighting for the last slot so Mouz is already out of the list as Avulus have eliminated them.



Avulus got 1-0 and the 2nd map is currently being played.

Yeah, it starts in less than 2 days and this is also a huge tournament. I might try to bet for some of the matches there.

This is probably the reason why I had not heard of them before he mentioned them before.
I did not start watching League of Legends or following them until about two and a half years ago so it would of been around the end of their winning streak.

Nothing surprising so far in the early games, and the other favorites will probably do the same since there's a significant gap in most of the matchups for the first round.



Also, i'm surprised to see Team Liquid participate in this small tournament called Birch Cup. Maybe it's their way of farming points while trying to fit Elige in the lineup.

We did get a big upset already, as Furia lost 0-2 to HOTU 

In valorant FNATIC fans got yet another health related unfortunate news as alfa couldn't play and was replaced by doma mid tournament

However they still beat PRX today 2-1, after being down 9-3 at half on third map but won it 13-9 on a ATTACK sided Lotus map. terrible day for PRX

Yea decent bet, i was watching map 1, astralis forced OT right now, i think they have looked better and should win map 1 as well as map 2 after wards

I think odds are pretty good on heroic too, as m80 have looked really shaky in recent times, should be heroic all the way

ENCE forced the game into map 3 and it was a bad bet for me, ENCE made it and won the overpass map. That higher odd should have been it but that's it, sometimes we win and lose.

I think odds are pretty good on heroic too, as m80 have looked really shaky in recent times, should be heroic all the way

The game is live now, I think so too about heroic but I think this is it for me today with CS2 bets. As much as I want to try to recover with other games like with the G2. But I have decided to call it a day for counter strike bets and so, maybe tomorrow for or round 3 again.

Astralis seems to the losers of the opening stages of this tournament so far, losing both of their early matches to ENCE yesterday and today to GamerLegion.

Actually there were some big uspets with HOTU, B8, Legacy and 3DMAX all winning their matches against the favorites of each of those games.

Hopefully tomorrow we will have some of these pro-league favorites actually playing better than they have been so far in this first stage of majors.
Still alot more matches to go with this tournament running til October 12th.

Fissure Playground 2 has already been concluded except the Americas, but it's already in the grand finals and both teams fighting for it are from the South America. So, it's either Perrito Panzon which K1 Hector is part of or Tailung Mafia that includes players from SA too that I have no idea with who are they except that gardick. I wonder who are the other two invited teams to be unveiled.

Yeah that is why I stayed away from them when I placed my bets early on so I don't miss the first match between G2 and ENCE.
Can see Legacy getting the upper hand on a down spiraling Astralis side.
Furia on the other hand should take care of business with an usual B8 team.

Because they also had a tournament just conclude late last month for CS2 under the exact same name.
