2  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Price Moving Towards $7500, Market needs a crash on: November 12, 2017, 11:49:15 PM
i think your wrong, Now that segiwt2x has been canceled I think there is a big chance that bitcoin will now start to fall because people wont have a reason to hold their bitcoins knowing that no fork will occur and no free fork coins will be distributed though bitcoins value can still increase with or without forks and segwits.
We are seeing the reaction now as the price of bitcoin keeps on falling and it went down $6000 and keeps on going down,it is a scary thought that the price is going down the hills at a very fast brisk and the network stagnation is not doing any good for the process too,the price would have increased without the fork and the fancy of free coins if it was a gradual rise, but it was a massive growth without any correction and now we will see the big correction.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin ever be safe for any investment ? on: November 12, 2017, 11:33:14 PM
Bitcoin is now safe for investment. What we are seeing now the fall in prices is a temporary phenomenon. Yes and fall is difficult to call. Let me remind you that this year, bitcoin has increased its value by over 600%. Is that enough? Name me any other investment that can bring such income.
We are waiting for this correction for a very long time and the entire alt coin market was affected because of this single rally and i am not sure how low the price of bitcoin would go at this moment ,so i would wait for that and there is a chance that i would go beyond $5500 because there has being a massive panic selling happening in the market.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ☘☘☘☘[ANN] [PRE-ICO] | VIABET | WORLD'S FIRST CLOUD BETTING PLATFORM |☘☘☘☘ on: November 12, 2017, 11:20:27 PM
Will the company buy its tokens off the market?
We're offering to buy back up to 10% of a holders tokens each fiscal quarter at a price that cannot be lower than the initial ICO price + added platform/casino profits. So it's not exactly a dividend but as our profits grow, we'll be able to offer much higher token buyback prices than the exchanges.
I have a small confusion here, why would you purchase the tokens at a much higher price than in the exchanges, every business looks for profit and why would you plan to do when you could acquire from the market and keep the buy back process moving forward with a lesser cost that would hurt a portion of your profits.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i buy btc now or sell? on: November 12, 2017, 11:12:47 PM
There is a downfall in the price of bitcoins in recent times so I will surely not sell my coins and hold it longer until it doesn't recover once again and this is low price to me so I will surely prefer to buy some coins at this stage and keep it safe in my wallet as I am sure that price of bitcoins will hit $10k in next year and that would be the best time to sell my bitcoins at higher profits.
It is a good option if you entered bitcoin when the price was high and you could not sell off at a profit, never sell off anything at a loss and since you have the money to collect the coins you should go forward with it and average your loss and go for the long hold, buy and sell depends upon the entry point and the profit you are in.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding BTC vs Day trading or short term trading. on: November 12, 2017, 11:05:04 PM
I'm doing long term trading and mainly holding on to BTC (and alts, for that matter), as an investment for the future.
It is good to hold the coin for the long term but you must be aware of the market situation too,if i made a profit and if i knew a big correction is coming i would sell off the coins and wait for the market to correct and then plan on entering it,rather than thinking about the future.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people still play dice? on: November 12, 2017, 10:39:20 PM
I find dice the simplest of the gambling games to play. You pick either one or the other and you either win or lose.
Quite simple right?
Even better than sports betting cause you don't have worry about the other factors that play on the odds of you winning such as overtime and players getting injured causing the odds to go against in your favor.
Yes i agree with the statement that dice is the easiest game in the entire gamble phase but the risk is almost equal with sports gambling too,but in order to wage a bet in sports gambling you need to have knowledge about the sport and for dice you do not need any knowledge.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 111+ BTC Jackpot! on: November 12, 2017, 09:54:49 PM
Its funny how looking at the chat everybody was telling him he is crazy and especially that guy who PM him right after his win asking for 0.1 BTC?

0.1BTC is like $700 and he expects someone to send him that for free? Kind of glad I no longer participate in the primedice chat.

The guy is broke and wants 0.1BTC just to gamble it again.
It was a good roll from that individual and he took a big risk and reaped the benefit and he was really lucky at that moment, the chat forum is still infested with beggars and that is the annoying part with every dice site.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now (BTC at $6,117)! You heard it here first... on: November 12, 2017, 09:40:37 PM
I am waiting for some more time until these network struggle is dealt with and i still thing that the price could go down further until we see another rally as we were having a big rally for months,if there is any other positive news coming up,then i will make a decision to enter or not.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Amazon Integrate Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2017, 09:17:34 PM
They can clearly can but the only problem is do merchants on amazon will accept this update and changes issued by the amazon company if they issued bitcoins as one of payment methods.I think that some merchants will not accept it
Who cares whether the merchants accepts bitcoin or not ,if they let users to purchase the products with bitcoin they could cash out immediately and there is nothing worrying about the volatility we have with bitcoin if they could cash out immediately and they could come up with a good front end.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are my sending fees so high? on: November 12, 2017, 03:07:09 PM
summary of what happened:
- August 1st BCH was created to attack bitcoin, they implemented EDA or difficulty manipulation
- SegWit2x was suspended
- BCH pumpers used this to FUD bitcoin and pump BCH
- higher price of BCH + lower manipulated difficulty => incentive for miners to switch
- sudden lower hashrate on bitcoin + no difficulty manipulation => temporary harder to find blocks
- lower number of blocks found => bigger mempool => higher fees.

all will be fine soon
- difficulty adjustments will start + the BCH pump will end => incentive to mine BCH is removed
Really good to hear the story but the majority of the mining is done by a few corporates and they control the entire mining network and they could manipulate and do what ever they want with their machines and that is the biggest flaw in the network in my opinion, the people who spends the most get to decide what the transaction fees should be.I am sure the BCH pump is done by these big whales to get more profit out of it.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GO AHEAD.... STEAL MY SEED!! on: November 12, 2017, 02:37:56 PM
What are you sophisticated bitcoin thiefs ( and I know you prowl around this forum) gonna do now? huh? you bitches!!! I now have a hardware wallet with a seed and a passphrase at the end of it. You ain't gonna get steal diddly squat.... LOL
If your system is compromised and the system you use to access the hardware wallet will connect to the open web all your data will be recorded even if it is offline ,it all depends upon how you take care of security and a hardware wallet alone could not stop the hackers from stealing your coins. Tongue
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: November 12, 2017, 01:27:32 PM

14  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: November 11, 2017, 11:57:27 PM
The upbeat attitude of bitcoin holders now is better and more mature than was few years ago. So, bitcoin becomes hard to lose value or atleast crashes as once did (hopefully).
The price of bitcoin is purely speculative during the initial stages and there were not much users to hold the price from crashing and that is not the case now,we have big time investors trying to make profit and whenever there is a small correction these whales starts purchasing those and kept the bull run going for a longer period of time, the only possible way to lose its value is the scalability issue and if nothing is done in the long run.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I start gambling site? on: November 11, 2017, 11:45:03 PM
We already dropped our idea for starting own gambling site . infact we are not selling our script. At affordable rate if you are interested then on me.
It is a good decision to drop the project with such a low amount of initial capital as the gambling site needs a bigger capital to pay off your users and never expect any profit in the initial period, you could set up a site and start selling your script and make sure you give a demo.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: November 11, 2017, 11:26:03 PM
I did not notice that bitcoin gold is gaining traction in the futures market along with bitcoin cash when the price of bitcoin is in a correction phase, the wait for the wallet is a long one and i expect them to release this month so that we could start trading,on release i expect a big dump like any new coins.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am scared on: November 11, 2017, 11:12:26 PM
Will there be any future improvements to BTC ?? I just tried to send a small amount of bitcoin and the transaction fee was £12 !!! over $15 for a transaction fee, so I cancelled the transaction... Bitcoin needs its block size increased without another stupid fork.
If you check the amount of mining hash rate of bitcoin in the past and if you check the hash rate in the past two days you will understand why the transaction fees are higher and why there is a large amount of unconfirmed transactions, the miners are switching to bitcoin cash at the moment and so is the reason we have a huge drop in hash rate,we have a correction in bitcoin but i still believe that it will recover in due time.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Been to Macau? on: November 11, 2017, 10:36:03 PM
Heard a lot about this place and i think it is called the Las Vegas of Asia,i did see that place in movies and i am not sure it is the best place suited for me as i am not a big time gambler nor do i have plans to throw some money at it yet,if i get the opportunity in the future i might visit but not in my top priority list.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Relationships! on: November 11, 2017, 10:25:08 PM
It really sucks when you and your partner are addicted to gambling, you might end up loosing a large chunk of money and end up in debt,i do not want any partner who is into gambling, but gambling once in a while is fun but not the other way round.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 11, 2017, 10:05:29 PM
SL players might be not in good form, but they are unpredictable. They many times became lethal against many powerful teams. Currently the bowling side is strong but they do need a good batting lineup as well to give a good fight in their upcoming series.
It is hard to imagine that the current Srilankan team will pose any threat to a strong team like India unless they plan to rest their top international players and book a second class team to face them, they lack in batting power and they have a good team in the T20 format of the game, other than that it will be a one sided series.
