3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: June 06, 2024, 11:51:40 AM
Imho the best what Haney could do is to organize a rematch on any conditions. Not asking for more money, double-triple doping check, not crying that he Garcia won unfair and etc. But stay silent, focused and beat crap from Garcia via KO. It was Haney who has landed on the butt in the fight, not Garcia. So it is 1:0 in Garcia favour in any case.

We have such a popular quotation - "dont swing fists after the fight". What is done is done. Now turn the page and prove that everyone were wrong.

I like the suggestion that Haney should prove himself so people can see that he didn't really lose that fight if it was fair. A rematch will settle who truly is the better boxer between the two. If Haney wins, it will put to rest the debate about who is superior. Haney having one loss already looks bad, especially with all the complaints that suggest he can't accept defeat. He might have lost a lot, but he needs to be direct to the point. If he wants a rematch, he should organize it as soon as possible. I'm pretty sure Ryan is more than willing to give him another loss.

Ryan is nowhere to be found in the ranking already.
He is suspended and if ever he returns in a real fight, he will demand the rules be in his term. Or it will just be exhibition fights like Jake Paul is doing.

Worse loss of Haney, he couldn't get over that he has to make sure Ryan gets punished for defeating him fairly.

Often the reason for a family breaking apart is when the man in the family ain't able to provide support. Some other fathers react modestly but some are harsher. It is his fault though he has to man up for that and come home as it's the kids who will suffer for his mistake.

He is your brother, you must idea where to find him. Bring him back.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump's big promises on: June 04, 2024, 12:07:49 PM

The reality is that Trump is winning regardless of all the big promises he says that we know he can't guarantee to keep. People like him so even if he just does one among the hundreds he promised for crypto, all Trump will say is sorry.

There isn't even an assurance that he could stop the war, just one of the things he promised. Trump is the most popular in the world, I think whatever he says people will believe in him.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano vs Ethereum on: June 04, 2024, 11:16:21 AM
Cardano cannot replace ethereum because ethereum is very successful after Bitcoin and as Bitcoin cannot be beaten by any coins the same is the ethereum which is not possible to be beaten by any other altcoins. Cardano is successful and profitable but we should not compare one coin with another because every coin has its own level of success and has its own value.

We don't Know what will be the coming years but currently both cardano and Ethereum are profitable but here we cannot say that Ethereum will be replaced by cardano or cardano will be more profitable than Ethereum. The value of cardano will increase but Ethereum will also increase in its price instead of keeping a single worth forever.

Cardano will remain as is if Charlie doesn't allow stablecoins such as USDT. Until there is no centralized stablecoin right on ADA, the price will not go as high as some L1. I think TON will rank higher than ADA soon. It's a slow progress for ADA. It's cool but it's not making investors stick around on ADA. It is going to drain their patience.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tell me the unexpected problems you've encountered in a casino? on: June 03, 2024, 05:21:53 PM

Winning something is one thing that is unexpected sometimes. I don't always think that I would win actually. Seeing that I only earn some tokens through staking so I gamble them once in a while and to my surprise, I win some.

I always read advice that when you gamble you always lose as casino has all the edge in the games. We got lucky sometimes and it one unexpect event.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Hunger in a country known for agriculture. on: June 03, 2024, 05:07:58 PM

For a country that doesn't have winter, the country should have all the crops growing and food should be abundant. The country is just the same as other countries, it is also a developing country with all the resources they have from land to water. Its the classic poor gets poorer and rich gets richer which the poor go hungrier every day.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: June 02, 2024, 05:08:35 PM
It won't be a problem if this hyped match is going to be cancelled due to health concerns of Mike Tyson.

It's more important than this kind of fight since he has proved himself very well during his prime.

As for Jake Paul, this is more of the entertainment that he's giving to his fans and I hope that Mike's welfare will be put into priority.

It's easier for them to just cancel the main event if Myke gets sick for any reason. However, it will be difficult to have another fight that draws the same amount of attention! They will have a lot of work to do to fix it if that happens.

Whats Netflix going to do to them if they cancel the fight?
There is the need for them to replace Mike or they will disappoint a lot of the people who had been expecting an event as people are already subscribing all for this card.

Someone should just step up besides Logan Paul and Ryan Garcia. Someone worth watching.

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: June 02, 2024, 04:45:43 PM
It is possible to become a millionaire thru sports betting of course. But it's not going to be easy. There is not such thing as easy money in this world including sports betting. Unless you bet your lifetime savings of $500k with a 50% chances of winning for a chance to become a millionaire. But no non-millionaire will do it because the risk is just too high.

In the end, the best way to become a millionaire in sports betting is to bet smalls amounts and in a parlay. It is difficult to win but who knows, it could be better than to bet in the lottery.

So many people are trying parlay only a few of us make it from prelim fights to the main card, I tried it several times even following the bet slips off the so-called experts but none of them proved to be experts but they do have a higher percentage of winning that's why I still follow their bets.

It's still insane that I kept $2 parlay every time there is an event. Hope I guess.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kicking/banning and or limiting a player for winning too much on: June 01, 2024, 05:30:22 PM
Why do casinos limit or ban a user when he or she is winning too much, but do not do the same when the user is losing too much as well?

I have not heard of some casino banning because the user kept winning. But maybe they suspect the user has found a glitch in the system that made him win over and over. If the user is draining the casino's funds, I think that casino already has a capital problem which is something that users will also need to avoid.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Rumours that russia will use nuclear but where ? on: June 01, 2024, 05:26:38 PM

They will not do that. When a nuke is activated I think the rest of the warheads will also be activated for being so paranoid and they will all shoot together against their adversaries.  Russia's latest attack was just the energy sources, I guess they want the Ukrainian military to just be in the dark and neutralized just crawling in the dark.

North Korea has simple attacks done to the South. They are sending balloons with garbage lol
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What strategies do you adopt that can help to make millions in sport betting on: May 31, 2024, 04:45:27 AM
Keep parlaying by betting just $1, it wouldn't really make me a millionaire but the amount is so much bigger than betting on one match and then just being hopeful to win. The winning ratio depends on how many matches are in the multi-bet but having just about 10 I think is not so impossible. I'm sure I'm not the only one who are doing this but many of us who play in sports.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can anti gamblers accept cash from gamblers when they're in dire financial needs on: May 29, 2024, 12:06:15 PM
That's a slap to the face. But you don't wanna do that to your worse enemies. When someone is in dire need of help, whether he's your friend or enemy, you don't stomp on the face of your enemy that has already fallen on the ground.  If you want to donate, just be a cheerful giver. Coz that's what the bible says be a cheerful giver.. Amen
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do if you are loged out from your Sportsbet app after wining? on: May 29, 2024, 11:54:39 AM

Can't he just recover the password after all he has access to the email.

Sportybet probably doesn't want him to pay, I wonder how much his capital is that Sporty seems to think the 14M is too huge that they couldn't pay him. Very sketchy casino. There is just no option for Nigerians to play in crypto casino, they are not allowed in crypto casinos.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exposure to bitcoin at young age on: May 28, 2024, 04:13:12 PM

Try exposing the kid to altcoins first if you don't like him expose him to BTC yet. The kid will learn more about how blockchain works just as how BTC works. He will still learn about BTC even when he isn't holding Bitcoin.

A kid having a piece of knowledge about Bitcoin and blockchain will be more knowledgeable when it comes to discussion with his friends. This will make him impressive in school as well.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about Ross Ulbricht, the SilkRoad and the drugwars in general? on: May 28, 2024, 03:21:39 PM

I doubt Trump could get him out just like that. Ross is more than just a geek turned Kingpin. He also hired someone to kill a person. Although the hired man turned out to be an agent the intention is evident. But we shall see how Trump can turn things around as it seems like he will win the presidency.

Good luck to Ross though. It's never too late for a man to be rehabilitated.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Hyperinflation - Will it lead Countries to Adopt Bitcoin? on: May 27, 2024, 03:14:15 PM
Their economy has improved significantly, but that is because Nayib Bukele has found a way to improve social security and boost the economy in many different ways, they do not rely entirely on bitcoin investment to improve the national economy. I remember Nayib Bukele once said they only used a small part of the national budget to invest in bitcoin and if it failed, it wouldn't have a big impact on them.

Bitcoin is just a volatile asset, a financial market, it's funny that some people think that if they accept bitcoin then inflation will go away. Or even if bitcoin becomes a currency, how will inflation disappear if people do not work and do not increase their income?
People that say that probably do not have an idea about how the economy works or they are too optimistic about bitcoin and what it can do, adopting bitcoin could bring foreign investment to that country and as such improve its economic situation, but it is not going to be enough, even in a country that is relatively small like El Salvador, so a government looking to improve its economy cannot just focus on bitcoin, and instead it needs to try to focus on the entire economy and solve whatever issues it may be slowing it down.

A country with a developed economy needs to have good domestic and foreign policies, attract a lot of capital and create many jobs for people...Besides, national security also needs to be prioritized as in the case of El Salvador, the country with the highest crime rate in the world even though it is only a small country. Developing a country's economy has never been easy but people seem ignorant and naive to think that simply adopting bitcoin can improve a country's economy.

Let's also not forget that bitcoin is not the only anti-inflation asset in existence, gold is also a pretty good anti-inflation asset. If stopping inflation were just about using an asset with a limited supply, governments would have done it long ago without the help of bitcoin.

Why is it that all of a sudden replies are anti-Bitcoin?  El Salvador already has paid its debts from IMF. Ony a few countries did that. I am not sure if it's because of BTC but Bukele definitely made the right choice after all, he lifted the country's economy by getting more investors in the country because of the Bitcoin bonds.

He made the country an easy place to go for Bitcoiners. Bitcoiners can even stay there and become a citizen with an easy to achieve conditions.

19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Errol Spence vs Sebastian Fundora - Oct on: May 27, 2024, 02:58:12 PM

Errol is almost as soft as Devin Haney being exposed, all the time in their career they were just fighting low-level boxers playing numbers for their boxing records but when they are matched to someone just right where their skillset level, they fold in the ring.

Fundora is also the same but after fighting Tszyu, he proved himself. I think Fundora will battle Spence to the ground.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 27, 2024, 02:46:30 PM
Am I the only on who noticed odds on Makhachev vs Poirier fight and find them unfair towards Poirier? Duelbits gives 1.17 Makhachev and 5.00 Poirier. How come top #4 have so high odds, like he is a debutant? I think bookies are little unfair this time. Poirier won previous fight via KO, fought rather good against Oliveira and Khabib (lost in last rounds only). Made Chandler tap. And his is 5.00. While he still has chances to land a nice punch on Makhachev.

P.S. Khabib is in Makhachevs camp this time, probably will be in his corner.

In addition:

1) Poirier was underdog in a fight against Saint Denis
2) Poirier managed to counter every Khabib attack and even closed guillotine.
3) Poirier stamina is better than Makhachev (example - Makhachev vs battle dwarf 1)
4) Makhachev never faced such a striker before. Makhachevs striking isnt perfect as many think (example - again Makhachev vs battle dwarf first fight. Look how many times Gimli connected).
5) Makhachev isnt Khabib who dodge every striking attack by jumping back. Makhachev can go in exchange with Poirier. But, where Makhachev connect one punch, Poirier unload series.

Anyway, I would call it as a total mismatch as it looks on the paper. If Poirier managed to counter takedowns with guillotine or evade them, in late round he could surprise us this weekend. As this is probably going to be his last chance to win belt, he will be risking maximum (and if we look on his record, then 50% of his wins are by KO, he will risk definitely). He wont let judges decide who won. It is either Makhachev choke him in second round, or Poirier will knock him out in second half of the fight.

Watching the analysis, the houses trusts Makhachev can neutralize Poirier to the floor, that's what they see. Poirier pulling this upset will be a good profit.

Isn't it a good strategy to bet $20 for Makhachev 1.93 by submission and then on the other hand bet just $5 in case Poirier wins?  Just curious how you can make this situation beneficial.
