561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question: Is there any websites where I can gamble crypto under 18? on: October 08, 2020, 06:31:58 PM

I'm sure OP has found some casino that he can play without having to verify his age.  If you have been in crypto for year, you must have learned more of the casino in crypto.  You likely could play whichever casino you see first and hope KYC will not be asked, but this is if you just with simple lottery and dice.

Addiction starts with just few bets and someone in this early stage might not have controls yet to get addicted. Its encourage not to play at this early year of your life.

563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone know a dice game that is actually fair? on: October 07, 2020, 07:55:23 PM
I don't really hope it's fair or not, as long as I can withdraw there is nothing to worry about...
however online casinos are run with programming but trusted gambling developers are definitely doing honest things to run their business. It is important for you to be more selective in choosing the site where you are gambling dice so as not to be fooled by malicious developers.

There is a way to check whether the system is provably fair. The system though is just popularized in the crypto casino, there is no organization that will check which one is fair or not.  But you can understand it because the odds will always favor the house.

If you are not very techy enough to check the server-side and the client seed and whatnot, you'd just give up and accept they are fair even when you experienced 5-day losing streak.

564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enough is enough! Good bye Bitcoin! on: October 07, 2020, 07:30:53 PM

Someone said, "A bitcoiner remains a bitcoiner forever". Its probably not true in this case.

If I'd put myself in OP's shoe, I'd probably just keep my 1.25BTC until there will be new developments about the legalization of cryptocurrency in the country. This is if he doesn't really need to cashout the money due to immediate needs, its a lot harder to do that since Kuwait is excluded in most fiat transfers with BTC.

I will rather move the coin to some centralized exchanges that does not make KYC conpulsory and are reliable. I will place the order early as longterm holder to the price I want it sold in the future, to preserve the dollar value for whatever reason may come up in the market. Your condition already make you a longterm holder. Security will priority after this, who know when the condition will come to allow fiat conversion.

Exactly will make him a long term holder but he can also trade or invest to profit more of it.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: everything can happen on bitvest on: October 07, 2020, 07:05:24 PM
In terms of reputation there is no doubt they are one of the oldest and still running well. So, on winning you will get it and there is no doubt about it, only thing is the matter of luck is with you to win that amount is the question. This is actually very interesting topic and made me think over it for some time and then got created the account.

I was thinking this is just a plot by bitvest to make us signup  Cheesy

I can imagine how many of us tried to get there to try it out. I have even google to learn about the Keno game. Its not the usual lotto game in every bitcoin casino so its sounds brand new to me. Helps pass the time. If you haven't won yet, try checking out how much you have spent playing and see if you have not yet lost 5LTC.
566  Economy / Gambling / Re: WILDTORNADO.CASINO |0.1 BTC Welcome Bonus | Instant Withdrawals | 3k+ Slots on: October 07, 2020, 06:36:37 PM

Welcome to bitcointalk WILDTORNADO, it will be good to have a campaign here. If you see most casino are promoting here in the forum, its probably the best platform to advertise.

Hu, welcome to Bitcointalk. It seems your company Dama N.V. operates total 7 casinos worldwide as per the below information,

https://www.askgamblers.com/owner/dama-n-v

Also, it seems all of them have a good reputation in general according to majority of the casino review websites. Hope this new casino will be able to carry forward the legacy.

I do not think they own all of these casino's. I think it is a white label product, which basically means they are only rent the platform. That does not have to be a problem.
But if this really is the case, then another organisation is also involved in managing the payments. Which means that is not possible to process instant withdrawals.
But maybe the Operator can clarify this about the company and the instant withdrawals.

That's just one of hte perks when a casino is under a whitelabel, their reputation is also going to be part of a big network making them attractive. I'm not so sure though about that instant withdrawal as it sounded too good to be true that a welcome bonus can be withdrawn instantly.

567  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen next if the resistance breaks? on: October 07, 2020, 05:41:58 PM

It looks like the price is going to stay this range for some time. We've seen many times that BTC pumps hard that it breaks resistance almost in just a day and  it might just be the case to break the $12k. It think its still the case that when BTC price goes up, every thing else goes up too. We just even look at the chart of BTC to summarize the crypto market.

When there are so much demands, traders sells a lot because and it will test the support level just as the bid orders tests resistances. Breaking out means another selling price to break.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: everything can happen on bitvest on: October 06, 2020, 09:45:15 PM
That's great.
I didn't know Bitvest already had Keno game.

That's like hitting the jackpot in a physical Keno game.
Wow. I am so amazed.
This could make a big boost to Bitvest with players showcasing their winnings. I mean, they should share this more often.

I also started playing 2 days ago after I leanred about this thread. So far no lucky to win 5LTC.
I won some but not substantial, I wonder if anyone also tried and thought about wasting time only Smiley

Bitvest is one of the oldest casino though and it has the longest running campaign in bitcointalk which there is no doubt this casino will pay how much you will ever win if luck strikes.
569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it alright to invest with bitcoin at the current market price? on: October 06, 2020, 08:25:15 PM
We tip toe through a mine field still imo, I dont think its clear.   What I'd expect from breaking a negative trend is a fairly noticeable appreciation, a large green candle on most charts.   We dont have that because we are still in tangle of indecision.

So this is 4hr bars, just short term and we're through a trend, below weekly average but above the monthly momentum.   I dont count this negatively especially until its closing the 4hr bar and maintaining back below that trend.   Even then we are drifting around the 10500 pricing, crossing back and forth in no mans land.   Maybe Im too cautious to go out on a limb here but I dont feel price action is bullish for the moment.   All of this is below 50 day average is the simplest clear view.

Most of the time when the market doesn't break resistance for 2 weeks it's usually going to break the support. Weekly chart actually tells the opposite of bullish and I think its this chart that traders should be looking at every time beffore diving into the daily chart. The RSI should be a good indicator to look at which I guess we are going to dive to $9k again. Probably so but this is just mine assumption. I don't know what others will think of it.
570  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: it seems to getting more difficult now to analyse cryptocurrency prices on: October 06, 2020, 06:38:52 PM
There is just no easy job to make money.  Charts are hard to analyze unlike when its just going up. Its a race against time too. The more is gets risky upon trying to new options like the derivatives while not quick to learn where to find buttons to click on the exchange interface.

Checking the chart from daily to weekly helps to see where the market could go. I have not an expert but I think it will help you see and then shift again to daily or to 4hour if you plan to be very busy the whole day.

571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN basher, the Liar 'John McAfee' is finally Arrested on: October 06, 2020, 06:03:59 PM
Probably he's just going to bail out..  It is funny how rich people try to evade taxes. They have their life assured, but they don't want to pay taxes. Greed is a powerful emotion, indeed. I mean there are legal ways to postpone taxes. One shouldn't avoid paying taxes just because they think they will be utilized in amoral ways by the government.

He gets away most of his crimes, tax evasion could be noting to him when it can all be settled. The richmen in every country had been evading taxes all the time but they can get away with after getting caught. John McAfee had many accusations like hiring a hitman and raping his business partner but still got away with it.

Message is sent though and this could just be the start for the people trying to avoid taxes through cryptocurrency. So those who hide in anonymity while evading taxes could be the next? Smiley
572  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KuCoin Has Found The Hackers Who Stole $281 Million on: October 04, 2020, 10:29:47 PM

Its funny but I doubt CZ has to do with it. Can they get the hacked tokens back after they identify the perpetrator?
I just hope the exchange will be back sooner. It would be good if they do. There is nothing much I would do right now than to buy KCS since its cheaper today, I tried registering to the exchange but they disabled the deposit to USDT.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: October 04, 2020, 07:56:03 PM

Its a good investment for long term but its not really going to give you a daily profit unless you know how to trade or invest to cryptocurrency projects that will provide daily profits for you to live this pandemic.

While the economy are failling, the price of BTC may not be growing the way we see it back in 2017 after the halving like it will break the ATH. It will still end up like how much it is today til next year.  So far though its the best investment and hedge your money while there is no assurance what could happen in the future.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: everything can happen on bitvest on: October 04, 2020, 07:00:57 PM

Why is his balance still 0.000 LTC?

But congrats if its true though. Never in my entire life have I won that much with just so little to risk. I have not played this game actually since I have no idea as well. Its always been the classic dice that I kept playing. I can see that he is always winning as I can see in the image, its like 3/6. Very fortunate hit.
575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading platform on: October 03, 2020, 09:04:16 PM

There are several that trade could trust binance was the most since it has the most volume and you can buy with the cheapest fee regardless of how big the amount you are trading. When you try it on Uniswap you'd be spending an amount upon buying tokens worth 10ETH. Although Uniswap is a DEX, its a good exchange but will prefer to see the order book like the dydx.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is UniSwap the most powerful in the Defi market? on: October 02, 2020, 08:38:45 PM
Uniswap has been launched in 2018 and since its hype still didn't end. This had really brought up a significance to DEX that big projects related to Defi also come up. So far its Uniswap that made all the hype in crypto bringing more investors.  If its not for the opportunity Uniswap had given to the traders like yield farming, there might be lesser investors on it.

577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized exchange volumes hit $23.5 billion in September on: October 02, 2020, 08:06:13 PM

$23B is an achievement for DEX, its not really big compare to the CEX but its good after all its just starting. Now with the Bitmex tragedy, I think more will come to the Defi platforms. Its growing constantly. The exchanges they count are just the ones on Ether DEX, there must be more outside ETH.

Decentralized exchange volumes hit $23.5 billion in September

Data for September shows that decentralized exchanges saw more than $23 billion in trade volume for the month.

The approximately $23.5 billion in volume reflects a 103% month-over-month increase compared to August's $11.6 billion, according to data published by Dune Analytics, which tracks volumes in the DEX ecosystem. September's volume figure is higher than previously reported.

Two leading decentralized exchanges made up most of September's volume, with Uniswap making up 65% and Curve making up 22%. Uniswap's volume grew by 128% on a month-to-month basis, most likely fueled by the launch of its governance token.

https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/79715/decentralized-exchange-volume-september
These stats also goes to show the fact that old dexes along with the centralized exchange platforms both are losing considerable amount of volumes because people are now more involved into features like decentralization plus instant swaps plus yield farming plus AMM mechanism. This new model has really put the old platforms in trouble and i think this new model will dominate in future as well.

Its just easy to use the swapping, there is no need to choose which orders all it needs is connecting the wallets. I think the old platforms are also about to remodel, there are some that expressed their innovations already.

578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Raids and kids involving spider betting. on: October 02, 2020, 07:12:06 PM
If this one is considered harsh due to animal involvement then horse racing should be banned too?
or any other that do involved any species of animal. When it comes to kids that do involve on these betting activity then good parenting or guidance would be the main solution on this one.
But there is a big difference here, in horse racing the horses are not forced to fight each other or anything resembling that, they just run, which is something the horses will do naturally so the activity itself is not endangering the animal anymore than what it will happen in nature, however in the case of forcing an animal to fight things are different, many of those animals will carry injuries from the fight or will even die, and while some may argue this also happen in nature the big difference is that in this case they are been forced to for the entertainment of some gamblers which is simply not right.

Not that I'm going to justify Kids Gambling.

They are the kind of spiders that kill each other in the jungle and there are billions to gazillions of them everywhere in the country, one spider can spawn more than thousands of their kind every time.  Its just the grownups that put them on the makeshift arena and bet them to fight but when we were kids, we just let them fight to death.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gambling in the wake of covid-19 on: October 01, 2020, 09:52:33 PM
Spending money on travels are way more worthy than spending it in gambling. Travelling anywhere around the world is the happiness you can't get by just sitting in a chair inside of your room playing online gambling. But for now, health is more important and other basic needs for everyday to survive pandemic, so travelling and playing gambling is not an option.
Thats true, there are other activites that is more worthy rather than to gamble your money wherein it cant do anything good to you as a person and there's a chance for you to become addicted especially during this time that we cant go outside freely because of the pandemic. Lets refrain ourselves not to gamble often because its not a healthy activity.

Gambling has risk of losing your money because its more on luck regardless if you're playing for fun (it can give entertainment for some people) or to earn.

Well thats also true that is why some are gambling to make money and perhaps some are just doing both, they travel to places to gamble there like going  to Las Vegas?
If there isn't a Pandemic right now, many of those people who had earned an amount by trading crypto is likely going to also gamble for some time to experience not just online. Not me though I still don't have the kind of addiction.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where Are You Next 5 Years? on: October 01, 2020, 09:39:24 PM
Hey.

You Think What Is Your Placement In The Crypto Currency In The Next 5 Years?

How Many Money You Earned That Time?

And What Do You Want To Do With Your Earning? Cool
I hope in next 5 years crypto will be agreed and accepted as the best payment provider solution and DeFi would be equally big and giving competition to banks. More over I want to see innovative real world solutions coming out of crypro market that will be available and used by everyone in every household for real adoption.

I'm not sure if I could survive the covid but if I do, I guess the adoption is going to be wider because covid had opened the businesses into using cashless transaction in my country. Its possible that one day crypto will be accepted on local stores.  If I'd be earning a lot with the investments I did, I'd probably be buying more properties soon and just do a space for rent business and will just continue life. Just the typical life I have before.
