By odd, I mean the subject line. "Here's your February statement from Kraken" sent early this morning. Then six hours later I got "Here's your June statement from Kraken"

As I do every week, I browse posts of certain people looking for ongoing libel. Came across this gem in the gambling section: 45K in debt due to Gambling on BetpandaThis person is down and out. OG comes along and insults the guy for doing something he did himself: Losing tens of thousands of dollars that doesn’t belong to you is dumb on a level I have difficulty comprehending. It is possible that without a loving and wealthy family OP will be made a Darwin victim. As they say, play dumb games and win dumb prizes. Gambling borrowed money has to be expected to turn out like this.
(Irrelevant lies striked out.) When Bitcoin Savings & Loan disappeared, I lost my funds along with everyone else. I had no special relationship with pirate. I was trying to protect users from losing everything if he disappeared, which I did successfully and everyone I interacted with was satisfied. I believe my PMs were even subpoenaed at one point (can't remember if it was just for MtGox or pirate@40 or both) further proving my innocence of any wrongdoing.
OG cannot comprehend how dumb OG actually is! (According to OG anyway) Is narcissism a requirement to scam, or is it acquired after successful scamming?

Fear grips hidden hearts — flames and footsteps intertwine, trust lost in the smoke.- Vod, 2025Are we going to see more of these unfortunate events? Other countries may start to refer to it as a guerilla war. Guerrilla war (or guerrilla warfare) is a form of irregular warfare in which small groups of combatants—such as armed civilians or militias—use hit-and-run tactics, ambushes, sabotage, and mobility to fight a larger, more traditional military force.
Key Characteristics: Small, mobile units operating independently Ambushes and surprise attacks Use of local terrain and population for support Avoidance of direct, large-scale confrontations Political or ideological motivation, often tied to resistance or rebellion https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/idaho-coeur-dalene-firefighters-shooting

I have spoken to the admin multiple times and he is currently not considering requests until the merit system is reworked
Quote link removed because further discussion is impossible in that thread - it is locked. If Theymos is re-working the merit system, shouldn't the community be involved? We can get rid of all these application threads, remove all bias and increase proper merit distribution. The trust system is centralized - Theymos chooses the private lottery requirements. The merit system needs to be decentralized for balance. We should use this thread to discuss merit system replacements. If Theymos is going to change his personal and private requirements, we'll just wind up with another system that scratches the back of the one who scratches you. I've suggested that smerit automatically be distributed based on activity. The higher ranked, more active members would get more smerit than the lower ranks; this does not duplicate the activity value, as that is beneficial to the giver, while smerit is beneficial only to the receiver. I have no ideas about the formula needed - that can be discussed - but I do believe the merit system (and trust system) should be documented like the ranks, signatures, badges, posting requirements and avatars are. i.e. The lottery is based on this and this, all publicly verifiable via blockchain. You receive xx smerits per day/week based on this formulas, etc. If Theymos designs another closed/centralized system after his last couple screw ups, as a community we'll need to address that. Merit is required to advance and make money in this environment paid for by members like me. If he wants to restrict earnings to his friends only, he should announce that, or make the rules open and fair. Every CEO in the world would be investigated for wasting a billion US dollars. :/ How would you like to see the merit system reworked? Make distribution fair, remove merit requirements for level up, modify smerit > merit calculation? Write now or don't complain if you don't like the new system.

I received an email a few days ago from Bruce@117Partners.com. They are in the process of paying out claims from the 2012 hack of Mt. Gox. He is interested in finding claimants. If you had an account there, you might have received an email from notifications@bitcoinica.com.

I'm happy to announce my AI project is almost ready for beta testers. I made up my mind to program this exclusively using AI, and that is the reason it went way past my expected launch time. If you are interested in helping me test and suggest new features, please comment below. The only thing required is trust I haven't put any nefarious code in the extension, or trust in someone else who is able to confirm the code is safe. What is Shadowpulse B? It is a bitcointalk subset version of my larger tool. A chrome extension (manifest v3) allows members to vote on their favorite Board, Topic or Post. It is cheat resistant and can be used if you are logged into the forum or not. It does not read/modify any HTML - it blindly inserts a frame at the bottom of the page once it loads. It does not require any registration and detailed stats will be available based on your extension member id (a random number with no association to you). I will be sending anonymized traffic stats to ninjatastic to compliment his post stats. User tools include ninja search from any page, and current bitcoin price info (trend and 60m). I will monetize to pay for it by the text ads and add future options. Edit: Wanted to add - first thing it does is check URL. If it doesn't start with bitcointalk.org, the extension stops. You can verify this easy by using Dev Tools (F12)

Hey Campaign Managers - this is for you!
I'm looking for any historical signature rates. If you ran a campaign, or participated in one, I'd appreciate if you could list the month/year and how many BTC you were getting per post. You can PM if you want privacy. I want to compare it to historical traffic to see if a Bitcointalk signature might be a cost effective way to advertise my new service.

I guess their GPS was looking for the "Gulf of Mexico" and could not find it. (Imagine if that turns out to be true!)

June 14, 2025 is No King Day. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings If you haven't heard of it, you probably will soon. I think the Bitcoin community should have its own movement against bad actors who have stolen from everyone else. Since at least a few people on that list are staff on this forum, is it a wise idea to believe in complete fairness in moderation? I haven't followed the bigger scams in other forums, or the other treasurers who stole 500btc, so I do not know how many bitcointalk members will be on the list. The Bitcoin King Day movement should start on May 14 to give a month to prepare. Should we host the thread here? Yes - Staff involved here can be impartial No - It's best discussed somewhere else Results posted after expirationBitcoin doesn't belong to the scammers.

I've noticed a couple threads in this section where people are having email problems when developing projects, like I am. Does anyone want to announce themselves a DNS expert? I need help figuring out my elon.report DKIM stuff, and you could need help standing out from the crowd of noobs.

I am shocked that the secretary of defense was able to plug an unauthorized device into their network. TWENTY FIVE YEARS ago I worked head of IT at a major accounting company and I had the network restricted to known MAC addresses and software. If you brought a personal laptop in, you would not get an IP address even if you spoofed your MAC. It was required, esp around tax season when million dollar clients brought in their own computers, possibly infected with god knows what.
This was in 1999 when we were undergoing Y2K changes. I can't image what type of incompetence Elon has placed as their network administrator. The pentagon should have their own mobile network, so all cell phone and wifi signals are blocked.
How was this drunk able to bypass their security, and how long until he tells others accidently?

Not sure of the column name, but if Theymos could put an index on that column, he could create a "Recent Edits" list, much like the " Recent Posts" list or the watchlist. Most modern forums costing less than a billion dollars can do this. Would stop all ninja/silent editors that don't want their updated context parsed.

I have no problem if you feel I am mentally ill and subsequently have a wavering feeling of intelligence around me. I don't mind if you imagine me a broke loser, or even make empty threats. I am the longest running DT member for a reason - I am trustworthy, I do not lie and I've never tried to extort anyone. If you offer me unsolicited help and I accept it, and you call it extortion, then you are the one commiting the crime here. OgNasty did the same thing - ask him how it's working out financially. If you wouldn't have lied and let me have the last word, I wouldn't have had to write this letter. The money was asked to remove two feedback that he left and offered me that he will replace those neutral feedback with a positive one. H I never asked - you offered. You are not an old timer. You have changed. I suspected you might try to scam; luckily it was limited to an attack on my reputation.

I asked Deepseek about what it means: Dreaming about dying can symbolize various things, such as the end of a phase in your life, personal transformation, or fear of change. It often reflects anxiety, unresolved issues, or a desire to let go of something. It doesn't predict actual death but may indicate emotional or psychological shifts. I've always had dreams where the end is nigh, examples: - Always in a hotel or on vacation, a giant tsunami keeps getting larger with each wave and I'm always fighting to escape (like a tower defense game) until I wake up. I don't die. - Living in an old apartment facing the oil refineries in the distance, I would see a bright flash and then feel waves of increasing heat. I wake up and don't die. Last night I dreamed I was in a low office floor when a large explosion hit and the building started collapsing. I remember seeing the cracks forming and the ceiling started collapsing. I thought I better call someone so they know to come rescue me. Then I got hit from a ceiling tile and phone fell out of my hand and I was trapped. I remember pressure building, decreasing space and labored breathing until I passed out. But I didn't wake up! I only remembered the dream recently and it freaked me out for a bit. I know the dreams are just the mind playing around, but still I can't help but wonder why I didn't wake up this time, even though I passed out and didn't continue the dream...

Hey you marketing geniuses, Is it better to launch an application on a subdomain (chat.elon.report) or on the main domain (elon.report/chat)? I think I read somewhere once that modern search engines will tie then together for traffic rankings, but I'm not sure. Edit: Asked deepseek: Conclusion For most websites, elon.report/chat (subdirectory) is the better choice for SEO. It consolidates authority, simplifies management, and improves crawl efficiency. Only use a subdomain if you have a specific reason to treat the section as a separate entity.
