225  Economy / Auctions / 50 ASICMINER shares auction on: March 10, 2013, 03:45:25 AM
Min bid: At least 0.58 BTC / share and 0.01 BTC higher than the previous bid. Only bids for the whole batch are allowed.

226  Economy / Auctions / Longing ASICMINER shares for 6 months (Get 0.7/share) on: March 07, 2013, 08:46:07 AM
I am longing ASICMINER shares - I will pay 0.7 BTC per share, in the next 6 months from when you transferred. You will not get dividends. (Keep in mind that dividends will be reduced after the original IPO price (0.1) was paid as dividends.)

If you're interested, contact me. I accept official ASICMINER transfers or G.ASICMINER-PT shares.
227  Economy / Speculation / Back to $40, what did you expect? Bitcoin is not going to go under $30. on: March 07, 2013, 01:32:58 AM
We had a correction down to $40. While people were busily trolling on OTC on how bitcoins will be worth 1 cent again, the price is now back at $40.

Bitcoin has grown a lot, and we won't have another crash to the extent of the first one again. Just corrections.
228  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin will hit $50 this month. on: March 05, 2013, 10:05:12 AM
If you told anyone a few months ago that Bitcoin will be $40, they'd be surprised. Bitcoin will easily hit $50 this month at the very least.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Report Ripple & ScamCoin Inc to FTC for False Advertising on: March 02, 2013, 04:41:27 AM
From Ripple's website:

The software is open source.
FALSE. The software is closed source.

No one owns it.
FALSE. OpenCoin Inc and their friends owns it. Even through they claim to not own it, they are the only ones with the source code and the ability to update it.\

File a complaint against ScamCoin Inc and Ripple:

https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en

This is false and misleading advertising right on the home page of a payments system. Mention that the market cap of ripple is $450 million (which consists of fake offers from ScamCoin Inc that will be "fixed")
230  Economy / Securities / Trade in your shares for BTCINVEST bonds! on: March 02, 2013, 03:21:27 AM
Want some nice BTCINVEST bonds and get great returns with low risk? We accept trading in various shares, in case you don't want to sell them, pay transaction fees on exchanges, etc. Smiley

BTC-BOND: 10 BTC-BOND = 1 BTCINVEST bond
ASICMINER: 10 ASICMINER shares = 45 BTCINVEST bonds
G.SDICE: 17 G.SDICE shares = 1 BTCINVEST bond.

Send me a PM if you're interested!

231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / OpenCoin Inc Will Debase Ripples For Wealth Transfer To Themselves on: March 01, 2013, 12:56:04 PM
You got 40,000 ripples from a giveaway script, congratulations! Maybe you spent 0.4 bitcoins to buy another 40,000 ripples.

What you don't know is that massive currency debasement with ripple is coming. How much? 100% of the amount floated to the public.

OpenCoin Inc promises to giveaway 50 billion Ripples. What they don't tell you is they are keeping 50 billion ripples for themselves and their friends, playing the central bank.

Rate fetching too high? Dump some on the market, just like interest rate manipulation by the Fed and central banks.

Need to buy another mansion for the developers? Dump some on the market, while reducing YOUR wealth to everyone who brought or hold ripples.

Need to bribe yet another exchange to touch a currency that's absolutely not used for anything of value?

[...]

The point is, OpenScamCoin Inc is made a well crafted and carefully disguised wealth transfer scheme.

Your 100,000 ripples can buy a chicken now?

You won't be able to when OpenScamCoin Inc debases their currency by 100% with their 50 billion ripples they gave to themselves.

Where does half of your chicken go to?

To the developers, and the exchanges, and the services, and the forum posters they bribed.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ripple Scam: Centralized, Centrally Issued, Bribes exchanges, Closed Source, Tax on: March 01, 2013, 01:27:22 AM
"Ripple: Open Source Scam Payments".

0. "Trust" (confidence, fiat style) instead of decentralized & provable. Saw that you have 1 BTC on Ripple? You don't. You are TRUSTING that someone has 1 BTC 'for you'. Compare this to a true cryptocurrency - you have 1 bitcoin, you can sign the private keys to spend it. Not someone else who is bribed by Ripple (see #4).

1. Not open source. You can't get the server source code, make changes to it or create your own fork.

2. 100% of the XRPs (which can be traded with btc, usd, etc) are premined, and goes to the founders and OpenCoin Inc.

3. Centralized as only OpenCoin Inc developers can contribute to the code and make whatever changes to the network as they desire.

4. Bribes exchanges with XRPs (NovaScam style), exclusive benefits, so they accept Ripple and otherwise won't have.

5. Distributes small coins to people to encourage usage of them. They plan to only distribute half of it, and keep half it it themselves to dump & bribe people (see #4)

The idea behind Ripple is certainly interesting and novel, but with the current business decisions Ripple is a centralized, centrally issued and non open source scam currency.

This is not a scam in the strictest sense of the word, but rather deceptive business practices that are attempted to be kept secret.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Shorting NovaScams. Get interest on your worthless coins! on: February 24, 2013, 11:13:39 AM
I am shorting NovaCoins. Seeing as how there is no automated platform to short NVC (because it's a scam coin and has no value), we'd have to go through this manually.

How it works;

1. You give me X amount of NovaScams.
2. I dump it on the market while Balth/BTC-e is in the pump phase of pump-n-dump
3. After an set amount of time, I give you X + interest NovaScams.

I'm currently offering 1% / monthly interest. Minimum is 5 BTC worth, and minimum time period is 3 months.

237  Economy / Scam Accusations / [Warning] Don't deal with Pipesnake without escrow on: February 20, 2013, 06:05:14 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=145226.msg1541834;boardseen#new

> does not want to use escrow for a $10,800 transaction

> did NOT attach any email with proof of share count, just proof that he may have some shares, probably less than the 1,000 he's trying to sell

> cancels auction after getting called out by goat & me

> locks topic

Haven't scammed anyone yet, but I'd advise to not deal with pipesnake without escrow.
238  Economy / Scam Accusations / [Scammer Accusation] BTC-e.com or Balthazar on: February 15, 2013, 04:46:41 PM
One of BTC-e or Balthazar is lying about the premining of NovaCoin, a scam cryptocurrency.

Exhibit A from BTC-e.com (who was bribed with premined NovaCoins so they will accept this scam currency):

"110K premined NVC is successfully destroyed !"

"Hi all. As you know, BTC-E received 110k of coins before NVC was publicly released. "

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=144158.0

Exhibit B from Balthazar (who thinks he should be the next satoshi by just copying other people's code):

"I mined this coins + ~35k for the stake, and given it to exchange as of a guarantee that I'll not dump it. So, there are not only pre-mined coins destroyed, my normally mined coins destroyed too. I have nothing else to say."

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=144158.msg1530118#msg1530118

The statements from the scam cryptocurrency creator contradicts the statement from the dubious bitcoin exchange operator. Balthazar claims there are not 110k premined coins, but BTC-e.com admits they have received 110K of premined coins.
239  Other / Off-topic / Who got a PM from TylerRice? on: February 14, 2013, 08:15:25 AM
WARNING: You will most likely lose all your coins if you "invest" in his "100-150GH/s mining farm".

I've received this PM recently:

Quote
Hi, I'm new to the site but have been passively reading it for quiet some time.

I'm looking into creating a mining farm with the start goal of 100-150GH/s and from then on increasing.

The farm will be used to loan out Hashing power to users on various plans yet to be fine tuned (but a very competitive price and a lot of customization)

At the moment I'm in need of investors to back this project, Once set the Hashing power will be devoted to paying the investment amount back + interest then an amount of profits after will be given to the investor.

Already setup to go is a climate controlled room for the farm with a closed power circuit and backup power.
Also dual internet connections for redundancy.

If you know anyone that could be interested would be good if you could share with them.
Also if this interests you please feel free to contact me via the following:

Email: [snip]
Skype: [snip]
Phone: [snip]

Tyler Rice

Would like to know how many people got a PM from his possible spamming streak.
