63  Bitcoin / Project Development / [0.5 BTC Bounty] Client based private key sweeper on: July 25, 2013, 11:27:12 PM
Source code may be in GPL (so you are allowed to use existing open source libraries / code).

Given a JS variable 'toaddress' on the page, HTML and JS code should ask for a private key, and upon a sweep key being pressed sweep all funds to the toaddress on client side. Should be styled with Twitter Bootstrap.

0.5 BTC Bounty.
64  Bitcoin / Hardware / Avalon Power Cord. on: July 25, 2013, 11:10:41 AM

Where can I get the proper power cords?
65  Bitcoin / Important Announcements / "Danger: Malware Ahead!"? (resolved) on: July 25, 2013, 10:39:24 AM
Chrome has been blocking any site that embeds Coinurl advertisements for malware:

If you have coinurl ads, remove it for the moment before you wonder why your traffic dropped by 1/3.

Google no longer flags CoinURL as malware.
66  Economy / Service Discussion / coinurl.com considered malware, sites using it are being blocked by chrome. on: July 25, 2013, 10:33:04 AM

67  Bitcoin / Group buys / [INFO] Group Buys with Inputs.io - Transaction Receipts on: July 20, 2013, 06:54:31 AM
Yes, you can use Inputs.io to participate in group buys, even through it is a shared / mixed wallet! Inputs.io now allows you to generate signed transaction receipts, coming from one of the addresses that made the transaction.

Simply go to 'Transaction Details' of the relevant transaction, pick one of your addresses to disclose and generate a receipt.

Example output:

-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Signed by Inputs.io on 20/07/13 06:54:35

The transaction 693325d8ade7dd26c07e437cb2e9b22948643849555096c7de499824703a5a69 was sent by the owner of the address 1LbXzBCP6bMknX5W3A5Z5QUs4eU3adAEy4. Messages signed from that address are representative of the actual sender of this transaction. This receipt was signed with one of the inputs of the transaction for verification.

-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
1HvcmKFw8jkANjR7QkKQHLwNrQ1KAShJur
IP1nKxkRunKoOjRgd6pXP7NMwcvBBZI7YQNdNvu5YwwqvVlTExeZjJomSbn2uRXxD+8BcZTTqG0DzMTsAKxJ5VU=
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Now, this lets the group organizer know that they can accept signed messages from 1LbXzBCP6bMknX5W3A5Z5QUs4eU3adAEy4 in relation to this specific transaction. Then I can sign transactions as normal with 1LbXz ..
68  Economy / Lending / Want a Bitcoin loan up to 1000 BTC, no questions asked? Got ASICMINER shares? on: July 19, 2013, 12:54:01 PM
If you have more than enough ASICMINER shares available to provide as collateral for the loan amount, contact me and we can work out the details (or just make an offer on CoinLenders). The interest rate depends on the amount, duration, and is determined on a case by case basis.

BTCTalkAccounts is responsible for various phishing sites, with the most notable being "bitcoin-talk org", and they're also responsible for a bunch of scams.

If you have sold any accounts to BTCTalkAccounts, get in touch with me via PM.

Thanks!
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is pseudonymous, not anonymous. on: July 15, 2013, 06:39:38 AM
Bitcoin is not an anonymous currency. It is a pseudonymous currency, as all transactions are detailed on the blockchain.

ZeroCoin would be anonymous, however there are many practical reasons with the implementation of zerocoin.

73  Economy / Scam Accusations / [WARNING] gweedo extorts full database of sensitive financial site, spreads FUD on: July 12, 2013, 08:29:26 AM
1) He only takes full source code and database as proof apparenty
Only way in my book to prove it.

CoinLenders and CoinChat hashes passwords.

CoinLenders also salt passwords.

CoinLenders also hashes your password in your browser with Javascript.

I cannot access your password (unlike what gweedo is claiming) on CoinLenders. I can only access the hash which is useless if it has been salted with a strong hash.

Gweedo is spreading FUD that I don't do this. He is posting a misleading screenshot out of context. I DO hash passwords. I don't salt them for CoinChat, but they are hashed.

79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / "we're trying a decentralized, non-trust-based system" - Satoshi on: July 11, 2013, 09:25:32 AM

Could be. They're talking about the old Chaumian central mint stuff, but maybe only because that was the only thing available. Maybe they would be interested in going in a new direction.

A lot of people automatically dismiss e-currency as a lost cause because of all the companies that failed since the 1990's. I hope it's obvious it was only the centrally controlled nature of those systems that doomed them. I think this is the first time we're trying a decentralized, non-trust-based system.

Read that and read Ripple.
