341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Wanchain - Connecting blockchains to exchange value on: March 24, 2018, 11:50:24 AM
At 13x, Wanchain is doing pretty well especially in a bear market like the one. I was an investor during the ico. Icon was launched during a bull run. If wanchain gets in the bull run, I'm sure It'll hit $20+. Will continue holding. I will buy more so I can run a node and earn rewards. Wanchain will go kaboom at top 10 when the green days comes back Smiley

Have they released any info regarding the masternodes? I wonder how many wan's you need to run one.

Well it was defiantly worth the well. Does anyone know if they are doing any rewards for bug bounty that they were running just before the wallet was released?
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: March 23, 2018, 04:01:34 PM
they do otherwise they wouldn't be negative on them and would be trying to use the blockchain.

345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Secure Bitcoins? on: March 23, 2018, 09:23:29 AM
No one has hacked it or been able to produce some fake bitcoins in 9 years so for now I'd say it was safe. Who know what technology is around the corner so bitcoin may have to adapt.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin? on: March 21, 2018, 01:30:33 PM
Hold out man, the price is just starting to go going again (hopefully).

348  Economy / Speculation / Is this the new bull markert on: March 21, 2018, 10:10:23 AM
3 days of green on coinmarketcap. Is the FUD over with and do we have the beginnings of the next bull market?
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does China hate Bitcoin? on: March 20, 2018, 09:52:12 AM
China hates bitcoin because its out of their control. So they will slam bitcoin then create their own digital currency which they ban back and control.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Homeless use Bitcoin on: March 19, 2018, 07:59:10 PM
I think its a really good idea, especially as we are starting to use cash a lot less.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the bitcoin price determined? on: March 19, 2018, 07:52:19 PM
I have just been recently trying to know how our legend crypto (Bitcoin) price determined. I really need to know more about this. Pls how is the price determined from time to time?

Lots of answers but a lot missing the most important point.

There is no such thing as a global bitcoin price.
Just check bitfinex and bitstamp. One it's at '72 and one at '67.
What is the real price? Both and none at the same time.

The price fluctuates not form second to second but from exchange to exchange, from website to website from trader to trader.
Probably the best example of a truly free market where demand and offer reign supreme and you can have situations where in your country nobody on localbitcoins wants to sell you coins for 6k let's say but in Germany they sell it 100$ cheaper.

That's a really good answer. I'd like add that the price is determined by the amount the last buyer was prepared to pay.

Any updates on when wan will go to an exchange? Wonder if suppoman is still saying its going to be next week. He was saying that in Jan.

Cheesy how in the world would he know?? ...I like Suppo, but I find it hard to believe any youtuber statement on when WAN will hit exchanges is nothing more than an educated guess.  I believe Balina said about a month+ ago that WAN would hit exchanges in a week too...

One thing is for sure though, this thing is likely to get creamed when it lands because it will likely debut at a very high price.  I'll be staying away from initial price action if this thing debuts 500 million cap + for sure.

Yeah I was joking about Suppo, he is kinda alright but is full of it too. I wouldn't expect him to know much. I've seen him talk about a coin saying 'is this the next Wanchain' which is mad considering wanchain isn't even on an exchange.

354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [15 Feb-28 Feb] on: March 18, 2018, 08:18:41 PM
I've lost all my faith in this project. There have been some serious questions asked about credits and they have not done enough to satisfy my doubt. Aside from the big promises what has credits actually got? Oh yes there's Suppoman, enough said.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS - Invoice trading platform | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: March 18, 2018, 05:57:31 PM
I have been a die hard hodler of this token since ICO.  Luckily I started selling at 40 usd and finally offloaded my remaining tokens at 25 usd.
I might have screwed up, but as much as I love PPT, they don't have any customers - and if I am wrong, and they in fact do have some customers, they do not have nearly enough to satisfy all the token holders.  Therefore, they don't really have any product (as far as I am concerned).
I love PPT, but not right now.  I will get back in later.  I might miss the boat with PPT, but look at the markets... everything is a boat to get back into once the market turns around and many other strong coins have fallen even further than PPT.
In short: my biggest downfall in my crypto career was doing the HODL 4ever thing.  HODL gives you an excellent chance at making big gains and 100% chance of loosing it.  Case and point: every single thing on coinmarketcap.  You have to have an exit strategy and luckily I finally learned with PPT.

Now you have golden chance for second entry to buy back even you already made huge profit by selling this at high price. I think you are intelligent person who find the way how to take right decision on right time so this will help you to make good profit.

If you sold at $40 and $25 seems to me like you did the right thing. Wait a few days and you can prob get back in at $9, maybe lower.

357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: March 18, 2018, 01:20:51 PM
Its not that bitcoin will eliminate unemployment but its more about how wealth could be distributed in the future so we don't have to rely so much on employment for our survival.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There's a new FUD on: March 18, 2018, 01:14:36 PM
If Facebook and Google are going to stop running them its no surprise that Twitter will as well. Its just more orchestrated FUD to put people off and get people to panic sell.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: March 17, 2018, 05:15:10 PM
I did think deep onion was a scam but I guess if it was a scam they would have sold everything in the last bull run.
360  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How long will it take before bountyhunters be out of a job? on: March 17, 2018, 02:25:50 PM
I see first hand that the average bountyhunter spams his/her Twitter and/or Fb accounts with all the bountys they joined. To me this brings absolutly no awerness and value to these projects.
If I would organise a ICO, I would never use bountyhunters to create online exposure, but just pay a agency to help promote it

Any thoughts?

I kinda agree with you, at the moment its about quantity not quality. There is so such competition to get the word out with ICO's that a bounty campaign must seem like a good idea. A quick way of building a community, but no good community can be built overnight with bribes. It will probably get to a saturation point were so many ico's running bounties that they stop becoming effective. Then bounty programmes will have to be more selective and ask for higher quality contributions. I do think there is a place for bounty campaigns though.

The only thing about paying an agency is that if everyone does it then you get the same problem. Tons of new content flooding out of youtube, twtiiter etc.
